Hi guys, first of all, im not trying to spread fud here. I love blackcoin and im one of the top 10 holders. Not planning to leave anytime soon. I feel like sending some BC to Iconicexpert. However, for some reason I find it still difficult to send a random person my cash. Im not saying Iconicexpert is a bad person, but I think its reasonable to stay alert in this cryptoworld. I know he has been arranging more stuff and is known as a good person for Blackcoin, creating the Blackcoincard for an example (goodjob on that btw). On the other hand I haven't really seen anything yet besides some crazy shouting on this forum and some blackcoincard pictures. Anyone could buy those printed cards at a local store for 50 bucks making an attempt to increase the Blackcoin hype/pump the price and dump his bag. Again, im not trying to spread fud here and I truely respect the work being done by this community, including Iconicexpert. Im just trying to see this from a neutral point of few. In my life I have seen lots of "media/attentionwhoring pump/dump" hypes before. And I cant tell yet if this is another one of those hypes to increase the price. As being as honest as possible here. The guy is asking strangers for 10.000 $. This is really alot of money, and I would hate to see if my few hundred dollar donation go to a guy that's just spreading "fake" news in order to gain some attention to the market or filling his own pockets. Iconicexpert, it would be cool if you could show the software your currently creating for the card  As I stated in my previous post I welcome all comments and suggestions. Why does BC keeps going down today? I bought a chunck yesterday mornings  relax, it will go up  Also, a lot of people are day traders... they will jump off this bus for another bus if they think it's going in the fast lane. But equally when we gain momentum they will come rushing in. It took 2500 btc once to maintain the price at this level. The sellers are almost out of coins. So long as people don't foolishly panic sell at a loss we all win. I would say we are at the equivalent of the 700 sat price after the initial crash after PoW completed. Small dips to 500 on weak volume but the people that have bc are content to hold it, with the one glaring difference is that now the floor is 25-28k. How many other coins can sustain that kind of price increase? This is incredible. Just waiting for the next storm to start. Blackcoin is going to rock everyone's socks off. Yup. The next slightest bit of upwards momentum is going to be the spark which causes this pressure cooker to blow up. It's become obvious now that none of the many copy cat clones are going to come close to our success. With our solid dev team, marketers, bc multipool and projects like the blackcoincard and the Wallstreet campaign, only a fool wouldn't be dumping their trading funds into BC asap. People make the mistake of investing only when the price has rocketed up 70% and keeps going. The time to buy is on the stagnant periods.  BlackCoin Is Going To Wall StreetThis is an outline of what my wife and I have been planning for a few weeks. Please take a few minutes to read.
I have been promising something big in May, and today I have decided to present my project to the community so together we can make it a reality! My wife and I have been working on this project behind the scenes, and it has never been done before in crypto. We want BlackCoin to be the first Cypto Currency to pull it off!
So what is the big idea?
We want to hire 50 attractive women dressed in BlackCoin T-Shirts, and for 2 hours these women will converge on Wall Street and hand out Wall Street Edition BlackCoin cards and sell sheets describing BlackCoin.
Everything I have asked this community to do has lead us to this moment and now it is time to explain my master plan.
1. I rallied this community together to fund the press release projects so we can introduce the BlackCoin brand to mainstream media outlets, and at the same time learn how to focus our energy towards a single objective.
2. I created the BlackCoin card because I knew in the future we needed something "physical" to allow people to touch and feel. It is hard to get people to believe in something that only exists virtually. The cards are loaded with software that will make it easy to buy, manage, and trade BlackCoins.
3. I rallied this community to contact strategic companies like Vault Of Satoshi because I knew for us to succeed we needed a direct Fiat to BC service here in North America.
4. Now that step 1 -3 has been accomplished, everything is in place for the main event.

I forgot to mention, but Slimcoin is a tri-hybrid. It has proof-of-burn, proof-of-stake, and proof-of-work as block generation methods.
Proof-of-burn is not like proof-of-stake. PoB can be compared more closely to PoW. Burning coins does render them forever un-spendable again. Once some coins have been burnt, the miner can use them using a special algorithm to calculated hashes. Like regular mining, the hash has to meet a specific target before it can be accepted by the network. Unlike PoW, this hashing is not intensive what so ever. Only 1 hash can be calculated for proof-of-burn per every new PoW block (about every 90 seconds). That is what makes this coin minable by a Raspberry Pi.
There is going to be no premine for this coun and the initial coin distribution will be done through proof-of-work. As time passes, PoW will become less and less important as proof-of-burn and proof-of-stake gain popularity.

So far, yes. It should be a big red flag anyway when you back a coin which is pre-mined. 9 times out of 10 the developer dumps his coins and runs away. And then pops up a week later with a new coin under a different account. |

Slimcoin differs from Counterparty in a few ways. From what I know, Counterparty is a protocol on top of bitcoin which also involves "proof-of-burn". Their proof-of-burn is different than Slimcoin's proof-of-burn. They use proof-of-burn as a way to make the initial coin distribution. In Counterparty, when one burns bitcoins they get XCP in return. In Slimcoin, when one burns SMC (Slimcoins), they can use them to "mine" as if they were a graphics card. Burning SMC models the buying of a graphics card. It costs money, but once you have spent (in this case burned) that money, it can be used for mining.

There is no "quick route" for gaining worldwide mass adoption. It will take a long time.
Bitcoin was cleverly thought out in more than one way because it's designed to be something that increases in value rapidly in the initial stages which attracts adoption. Each rise in Blackcoin price will cause a wider dissemination of Blackcoin wallets around the world.
Every new person who downloads the Blackcoin wallet and puts some BC in it is a major win for us. Because that is one more new supporter we have. Just as important as attracting merchants is attracting people to own Blackcoin in the first place. If Amazon hypothetically began accepting Blackcoin tomorrow as a form of payment they would get 0.001% of customers using it. So we start small, targeting niche stores who will welcome any kind of extra custom and work from there.

Compairing the price paid by BTC and MSC Backers of Maidsafe IPO I find Out this:  I think MaidSafe team should take action and Pay to BTC Backers more Bonus to cover this unfair IPO, Period. This cannot be said enough times. Anyone who invested in Maidsafe with bitcoins (which is what they actually wanted) got screwed.. I think they will want to adjust this somehow if they want to keep their BTC investors happy, even more so since it was bitcoins they were after, not mastercoins. I agree. It is clearly a problem when two sets of investors pay for the same asset, at the same time, at wildly different prices. People who invested with BTC have made an instant loss because of this. If the maidsafe team is honest they know that they would not have raised anywhere near that amount of money if it was clear on their website that the mastercoin crew got the majority of the coins much cheaper. I hope that the maidsafe team will do the right thing here to prevent the reputation of the project being tarnished. |

Not trying to sound like a negative nelly here, but has anyone considered we may have already hit the ceiling? Meaning at best we can hope for is to hit it again 90K sat. In every single crypto thread they are claiming "groundbreaking" "innovative" ect. Yet it always turns out the same, nothing much happens once it has peaked.
Ive made myself a decent little profit, but I'm thinking of selling out and counting my blessings. I know some will say "there is big announcement coming" but we have had big announcements and price did nothing.
Litecoin was $2 for many months last summer and I read countless topics about it being dead. You're ready to give up after a couple of weeks  You would never have made it to riches if you had been around when Bitcoin was worth cents or Litecoin was worth cents. It's a mistake to compare this coin to other coins, the main reason being other coins have to try to maintain their price in the heat of constant downward selling pressure from miners dumping their newly mined coins for profit. Over the coming months Blackcoin is just going to keep climbing and climbing, each time the sellers run out of coins and people stop selling at a loss. Good luck with your decision |
