1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Signature Campaign Rates/Pays on: December 02, 2017, 12:29:26 PM
If you are interested in signature campaign and for example it says 100,000 tokens allocated for signature campaign. The 100,000 tokens will be distributed among the participants in signature campaign.
As for the stakes, you will receive 0.5 stake per week you are with the campaign if you are a Jr. Member. The bounty manager will add up the stakes you have earned. For example, you have been with the campaign for 4 weeks, you will earn 2 stakes since 0.5 stake X 4 weeks = 2 stakes.
When the campaign end and there are total 1000 stakes earned by all participants. The calculation will be: 100,000 tokens / 1,000 stakes = 1000 tokens per stake. Now you have 2 stakes, you will receive 1000 tokens X 2 stakes = 2000 tokens.
1462  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: December 02, 2017, 02:32:18 AM
I consider buying me such a miner. Never mined before. Is this profitable if I only have one of those Antminer S9? Another question is, maybe its a real silly question, can I mine other currencies than Bitcoin with it? Sorry for the newb questions, I never considered mining before I came across those Antminers.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: December 02, 2017, 02:14:41 AM
Can anybody tell me how long the SIA blockchain needs to sync? It is running for ages on my computer and still has only about 7 percent. I think I did something wrong somehow. I only wanted to sync it because I wanted to store my SIA off the exchange finally. Is there any other wallet that supports SIA? Would appreciate every help.

There is only one full client available, the official Sia-UI. If you are using an HDD for the Sia installation instead of a SSD, it can take several days to sync. There is a workaround to reduce the syncing time to just a few hours of blockchain validation: manually downloading it (AKA bootstrapping). Follow the instructions here: https://siawiki.tech/daemon/bootstrapping_the_blockchain

Alternatively, if you just need right now an address for cold storage, you can use this wallet generator made by one of the Core developers: https://github.com/avahowell/sia-coldstorage/releases You will not be able to send coins from this wallet, only receive them, but you can later import the wallet recovery seed into the full Sia-UI for moving your funds whenever you need it

Thanks for that explanations man! Appreciate it very much. Thats exactly the case, I am using a HDD. So thats why it takes ages... Thanks for the workaround tip I will check that out. But on the other hand a cold storage is all I need at the moment, because I want to hold my SIA for long term anyway and dont want to send them anywhere in the next year. So yeah, I guess I will just do it that way.
1464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is about to reach 11,000 again on: December 02, 2017, 02:09:01 AM
And its done. Reached 11,000 and climbing still up. At this very moment already at 11,200. Dont know where this is heading if Im honest. Yesterday I was expecting a real correction, and today we are nearing a new all time high again. And on top its weekend. Im really curious what next week will happen with BTC.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitdegree ICO on: December 02, 2017, 02:06:41 AM
Bitdegree is a solid ICO as far as I know. Educating people about it is not wrong. I hope that the project will become successful and that they manage to deliver their promises. Online education is a very important sector.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next big cryptocurrency? on: December 02, 2017, 02:04:08 AM
What is the next big cryptocurrency? Is there any option that has the ability to give returns as much like Bitcoin ?

I dont think if as much as Bitcoin. No I dont think any could give those returns. But I am eyeing on Cardanos ADA at the moment and also at DASH. Maybe Im completely wrong, but I have a really good feeling with those two.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO to invest and hit 10x on: December 02, 2017, 02:02:05 AM
it is impossible if you want a 10x profit from ico. everyone knows that once the distribution has been completed and the token is listed in exchanger, it will happen dump and the price down can be 1-2x from ico price.

Thats not true for every project. The gems want to be selected wisely and if you pick them they will only go up as soon as they hit the exchange. Latest example for me QSP. Upcoming ICO's that will likely perform the same way: Wabi, Envion, Bounty0x. No investment advice here, just personal expectations.
1468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you taxed on Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2017, 01:52:40 AM
In my country (Indonesia) bitcoin transaction is illegal.
So all bitcoin transactions go straight into my bank account without being charged by a tax.  Tongue

Wait, so do you mean that only transactions, meaning sending bitcoin to another address is illegal, or is Bitcoin in general illegal in Indonesia? If the latter is the case, then cashing out bitcoin earnings should also be considered illegal right? Sorry if I dont understand this right. Would appreciate if you clarify.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💜[ANN][LIVE] Aidcoin Bringing Nonprofits to Blockchain. Token for Charities 💜 on: December 02, 2017, 12:47:06 AM
Love that project. This has all my support and I will buy tokens on the ICO! Actually I also had a pretty similar idea but never knew how to put it in action. Really cool to see that a project like this is emerging now!
1470  Economy / Economics / Re: The good news is Bitcoin price has already broken $10000 on: December 02, 2017, 12:43:42 AM
now Bitcoin price is all time high, I saw the news from China Central Television said there is a huge bubble in bitcoin. do you think so ?

You mentioned that you saw the news from China Central Television that Bitcoin is a huge bubble. This is already the answer to your question in my opinion. If mainstream tv and mainstream media tells people that its a bubble, then likely its not the case. Im not scared when everyone is crying that we are in a bubble, Im scared when everyone has consensus. Thats most likely a bubble before popping then. But thats just my opinion.
1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: walton vs OMG longterm on: December 02, 2017, 12:37:38 AM
You made the right choice in my opinion. I also like WTC a lot and see a very good long term growth potential for WTC, but I trust in OMG even more. And I think the market that OMG is targeting is just bigger and therefore OMG might grow bigger than WTC. Im not an expert though, just my feelings about these two. Im invested in both coins.
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you taxed on Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2017, 12:00:52 AM
Yes of course. In my opinion its not worth the risk going to jail for crypto. I mean, everyone has to pay taxes, so why shouldnt you just because you trade with cryptocurrencies? Sure it can seem unfair when there are countries that dont tax crypto yet, but thats life.
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: December 01, 2017, 11:57:28 PM
few questions? how many coins will be burned? and when the fork happens do we get clone coins? like the fork that happened with btc

you've got no idea what you're talking about, right ?

damn people thinks crypto investment is easy and reachable by anyone without technical knowledge.
might be a bubble finally ....

well I am a farmer and I trade off my tractor with my phone, I did pretty good with DASH ETH and BTC couple years ago ... now I like this one and MONA to add to my account ..  have to go feed the hogs in a minute...

That's the difference between EMC2 and other coins.
Till other coins try to drag people in, we do the opposite.
With everything that we do, we bring coin to the people.
Inside out ...

Some good reads today on this topic. Definitely made my day to check in every now and then. Will continue to do so but now, Ill get some sleep, funny moments arent running away I guess. Cheers everyone.
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread on: December 01, 2017, 11:50:43 PM
Agreed, This I think will be one of the biggest news stories in 2018, everyone will ask, where did Semux come from - and it all comes back to the commitment and energy of Team Semux.

I want to be part of this success story. Its really cool that the signature campaign lasts until end of february, so there is plenty of time to join. This project will be big!
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (Exchange launch - November, 1) on: December 01, 2017, 11:14:46 PM
Glad to have stocked up on some Minexcoin. After I have missed the last surge, I hope there will be another soon. Weekend might be slow with trading, but next week I hope to see some real gains for Minex!
1476  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Größere Summe auscashen ... nur wo? on: December 01, 2017, 11:12:56 PM

1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digitalcurrency on: December 01, 2017, 11:09:20 PM

Tons of accounts from shills, scammers and trolls

So true. Its really horrible how on every ANN of a project there is the "inhouse troll" fudding away the whole day. Sometimes its really funny, but considering that it scares some people and therefore slows down the growth of a coin is a shame.

1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] HealthTRUST+ [HT] - Securing Healthcare Data On Blockchain on: December 01, 2017, 10:36:51 PM
Healthcare projects are most likely one of the next big things in crypto. At least I feel that way because they solve real world problems that exist in health care and have impact on the daily life of everyone. I will definitely do more research on your project and likely invest in the ICO.
1480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: December 01, 2017, 10:26:02 PM
WTF JUST HAPPENED???
I buyed 100k coin in sept 8 for 2 cents each! now i look i have $60k in my wallet ?!? This true?Huh?  Should I sell or wait for $100K +
this is insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations dude!  Thats really something here. I guess nobody can tell you if you should sell. As you realized, you have real gains here already, so if you are uncertain and want to realize some of your profits, maybe sell half and stick with the other half. Thats what I would do in that situation. I could kick my ass that I didnt invest while I was constantly eyeing on EMC2 since march. I always thought there is more time to buy, no hurry, not much movements anyway. Nevertheless I'm happy to be in now.
