1481  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Serious] How long does the paper in a casascius stay legible? on: January 03, 2017, 11:17:17 PM
What type of printing gives the longest shelf-life and under what conditions can this be achieved??

Engraving directly onto metal seems to work pretty good under any condition.

You just have to make sure that the engraved keys are not visible under X-Ray or some other technologie I didn't think of though.

There are much cheaper ways to compromise the key on a physical Bitcoin.  Tamper-evident holograms only keep honest people honest.

http://www.coindesk.com/defcon-hackers-crack-physical-bitcoin-casascius-coins/

Huh. Really makes you think, why would I want another possible way to get my bitcoins hacked? A physical hack would be a lot cheaper and could go undetected for a while. Let's say I bought a 25BTC coin, opened it up with their method and recirculated it by selling it. After a few years and a few different owners I could sweep the address and no one would know for sure who did it. That's just terrifying!!

Back on topic though, you'd have to find out exactly what make/model of printer he used to print the private keys. From their you could find out from the manufacturers website or google how long they would actually last.
1482  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: January 02, 2017, 05:45:04 PM
Last year i had been forced to sell my bitcoins to cover some bills, besides those emergency situation i dont expect to keep spending my bitcoins this year, in fact my goal is to save bitcoins along the year from all of mine investements, this is the year to start saving and stop investing.

Saving bitcoins and investing in bitcoins are the same thing. If you mean investments that accept bitcoin then you are investing is sketchy ponzis and HYIPs lol. I'd stay away from those!
1483  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: TheBitZone | Bitcoin/Crypto Forums | Earn BTC Posting on: January 02, 2017, 05:19:28 PM
Oh look yet another forum... Are your shares just a centralized token or are they an actually dectralized altcoin?

Lol and TheButterZone will be none too pleased with the TBZ acronym.
1484  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRIMEDICE COMPROMISED on: January 02, 2017, 05:15:01 PM
After reading through all of this and checking around this has really only happened to you. I don't see why you would be targeted by primedice based on what you've told us so I can only assume your computer has malware. Idk that's really the only way to explain it but even if primedice could prove differently they probably won't. Sorry op. This obviously blows.
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: (RE: Exchanges hack) Let's talk about a solution before instead of crying after on: January 02, 2017, 04:46:17 PM
can't do much about it-if the exchange itself is hacked(Bitfinex style)
what you can do is move your funds out as soon as you finished trading, but it could be very annoying and impractical
no 2fa or supermegasecurity on the clients side will save you if the exchange security is breached, just hope for better and don't keep all your savings online

Better yet don't use exchanges where you're able to have a balance in their wallets. It's easy enough to find these exchanges so idk why people still use the scamming "hacked" kind of exchange. I've never had any balance on any exchange ever. And I've never lost money from an exchange getting hacked. That's one strong positive correlation!!
1486  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 10BTC Casascius Silver Round /w Gold B - MINT - MOST DESIRED COIN! on: January 01, 2017, 10:53:00 PM
Seems to me it's time for a raffle Wink maybe one of those huge ones with tons of spots. Everyone and their dog wants this coins but 99% of the people on this forum can't afford it. Just my 2 Satoshis. If you don't like the idea then consider this a phr33 bump!!
1487  Economy / Speculation / Re: Permabull Party Thread on: January 01, 2017, 10:26:08 PM
Really, I just want to create a thread that I can resurrect at a later date when the price is > $1000 again. Or higher... Cheesy

1st bump: $1K
2nd bump: $10K
3rd bump: ??

I'm not going to make any predictions other than one day I will be able to bump this thread and laugh at the permabear trolls and their "bitcon is dead!" nonsense.

See you all in a year or few. If any bears would be so kind as to post here saying Bitcoin will never reach that point again, it would be highly appreciated, and make this even more entertaining. Price currently is around $250.

1st bump

See y'all at $10K Cheesy

Hear Hear!
See you at $10 buddy. HODL strong my fellow bulls, this is only a small step on our journey towards riches.
^^that "k" missing changes your post somewhat...

Very much so lol. We'll never see $10 again but 10k next year right Wink? I can't believe how great of a year it's been. I couldn't imagine how the very early adopters must feel when they bought at a buck or two. Damn what was I doing in 2012!?
1488  Economy / Services / Re: 500 bits (0.0005 BTC) for posting on forums on: December 31, 2016, 06:56:14 PM
I did not received my payment. I have completed this task before other members and they have been paid faster rhen me. This is not fair

Try following the rules.
What rules? I have wirted my thread with 90% my words. I did not copyed and paste nothing. Erikalui (the first person who posted here his thread ) copied over 50% from the websites and les then 50% was writed by him.And you paid him even double.

Thats not fair. Soon you will receive a negative feedback from me because that is not fair what you are doing here

This is the rule that you did not follow:

2. You must be an existing member of the forum with a minimum of 10 posts made before time of this post.

Ah, we'll then I guess it wouldn't matter that you ignored my question now would it Wink. I bid you good day suh!
1489  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bruno Kucinskas FULLY EXPOSED! Read all about it! on: December 31, 2016, 06:53:27 PM
Here's to all the retards that'll get fucked by Bruno Kucinskas (me) in 2017.

Literally?!

A little of this and a little of that and you're good to go, right!?

Just incase, don't forget this afterwards. (No offence Bruno. I just don't know where you've been).

A lot of these chromosome deficient shit-stain's birth certificates are just apologies from condom factories.
1490  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 compared to other years? on: December 31, 2016, 06:30:35 PM
I'm really surprised we didn't ever see a correction. I mean there has been some ups and downs of about $20 or so but that's just every day in bitcoins land. It looks like we'll be pretty steady for the new year!
1491  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ☠ Project in dev: mmorpg sci-fi fantasy adventure game w/ pvp ☠ on: December 31, 2016, 06:19:05 PM
Like the site even tho there is a few issues with spacing.
The idea seems cool like the pictures and everything else ill be watching for this to drop.
April it launches right or is that just the crowd fund?

The game will launch in April, but there will be a crowdfund in January to add a few extra things and hopefully push the timeline up a month. An alpha version of the game will launch in about a week which has a small but fun little mission and puzzle to solve (with a 0.1btc reward).  Grin

Oh ya? And... Where are the hints for this mission? Hahaha. Is it out yet? I'm not home for the holidays so can't check on my computer until after the new year.
1492  Economy / Services / Re: Domaining - get involved into profitable trading with domain names on: December 30, 2016, 11:05:41 PM
I don't understand your offer.

If your story is legit and you have developed a way to be profitable selling domain names, why are you trying to destroy that method?  Giving the secret to others will dilute the market and make it more difficult for you.  There are not an infinite number of domain names...  Undecided

And that right there is why I won't be giving $49 to a stranger so he can teach me how to flip. Wood see doo you can point me in the right direction on where to buy and sell, I already get the idea though. Buy a domain that you think is good, hope for profits. Buy a domain that you think a new business will want to buy then offer to sell it to them. I mean, it's really obvious what you're doing and therrs nothing proprietary about your method so why should I pay $49 for it rather than just googling where to buy and sell domains?
1493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fucking Chinese - Part 2 on: December 30, 2016, 10:57:53 PM
Mining bitcoin is very profitable in china which explains why they have a largest share of hash power, because of how electricity is cheap in china , people are able to make profit out of mining bitcoin.

I study about energy and I know that in china they build a coal reactor every month ,so they can provide the electricity needs for the whole population.

its got little to do with energy costs

put it this way an asic in asia pays $225 electric per ASIC for 6 months.
in america its about $450

meaning only a couple hundred dollars difference spread over 6 months.

the real cost however is the ASIC itself.
because america doesnt make an asic they have to shell out $1500 per rig.
however it costs asia to make a rig just a couple hundred. so when they sell the rigs to americans. the asians can make many rigs. one to give america a couple to keep themselves and still some fiat spare to pay the electric for them couple rigs that cost them nothing thanks to the american consumer.

thus its pre profit for asia to mine. all because they make the rigs.. not due to electric costs

Huh. I never thought of it that way. Buy 1 rig for $200, sell it for $2500, buy 12 rigs, sell for 18,000. Start up your farm and let the profits roll in! You just had to put up $200 of your own money.

Obviously it's not that simple but still. If their hardware is cheaper to buy there then obviously they'll want to make good profits when selling to Americans or Europeans.
1494  Economy / Services / Re: 500 bits (0.0005 BTC) for posting on forums on: December 30, 2016, 08:14:59 PM
Is this just a one time thing or are you going to post for multiple posts if we wanted to do that? The pay is ok for newbies on this forum if it's a one time thing but I'd be more inclined to making multiple posts if it's an option for a bigger reward.
1495  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $10 Amazon GC - 80% on: December 30, 2016, 08:09:33 PM
How did you get the giftcard? Is the receipt included? Amazon.com I'm assuming? If we're not deemed trusted do you accept escrow?
1496  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [RAFFLE] 2000 Canada $20 Dollars - Elizabeth II The Toronto (Block 445850) on: December 30, 2016, 07:07:15 PM
Lol congrats on selling a $50 coin for ±$100 minus 2nd and 3rd prize. I guess people will buy anything for any price here if it's a raffle. Good to know.
1497  Economy / Securities / Re: Pig Farm Investment. 5 % Monthly. Has been running for 6 months. on: December 30, 2016, 06:54:40 PM
New policy .Start a ponzi just say u r going to invest in some barber business run it for 4 months get trust. Get more investments continue running it for 2 more month just to wrap up things after 2 months stop paying ignore people who invested don't send any payments disappear from the forum. The people who suffer are those who trusted you and finally they blame themselves for investing in this shit and the person who is currently enjoying of course the scammer.

If you're prone to 'investing' in local shit stains that steal your money you're prone to investing it the armpit of the asshole of the internet which is ponzis. There's no reason for him to ever repay this. Who cares about his reputation? He certainly doesn't. The warning were all over but people still invested. They got too damn greedy and got shit on because of it. Maybe they learned their lesson or maybe they'll just invest in the next ponzi that you're cooking up there lol. Either way I don't have this much money to blow so I didn't invest donate.
1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very little Press Coverage of Bitcoin's Rally this time on: December 30, 2016, 06:28:57 PM
Here we go guys. We're getting a lot more mainstream news now!!

http://www.cnbc.com/2016/12/29/forget-about-dow-20k-bitcoin-is-about-to-hit-1000.html

I love how these morons start with "Bitcoin, the controversial digital currency" can a currency really be controversial? Really? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life.

Oh and here's another gem by some "expert"

"Not yet," Colas said when asked if bitcoin had achieved legitimacy as a system of payment or currency. "It will be mainstream when you can walk into a bank and order a bitcoin account. We're not close to that yet."

Can I have 1 bitcoin bank account plox? I'd also like some hot snow and some soft razor blades. Thanks a million (bitcoins).
1499  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: HELP- Malware warning about my electrum !!! on: December 30, 2016, 06:24:09 PM
I had this happen a few months back I believe  and it ended up being a false positive. If I scan it now it comes up fine. I panicked and got 99% of everything onto a paper wallet though lol. Try a different antivirus software and see if it finds anything but this is almost definitely a false positive.
1500  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you had a time machine, what would you say to satoshi? on: December 30, 2016, 06:06:01 PM
Give me the private keys to your million premined bitcoins or I'll shoot you in the face.

O.o pleased to meet you too holy crap!

I'd ask him where he went to school... what his favourite colour was... who his celebrity crush is... and then I guess what his private keys are and prove he's satoshi cuz I don't believe him hahaha.
