1522  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Chinese Uighurs - concentration camps, slave labor on: July 23, 2020, 03:45:26 AM
Quote
According to human rights organizations, more than a million Uighurs and other Muslim minorities are being held in a network of detention camps in China where they are subject to political rehabilitation.

These acts are against humanity and the Chinese government must stop these extremist acts on the pretext that these are terrorists. In fact, this is an empty charge that most countries use to suppress their opponents.
The international community should pressure China to stop these actions and treat the Uighurs humanely, and China can be pressed through the United Nations and through its economic boycott. Unfortunately, the opposite is happening, as I have heard that some countries treat the Uighurs harshly because they have good economic relations with China.

I believe such situation has been happening for so long already that even the Chinese government knows about this situation. It is only recently that this harsh situation is being exposed because of the technology we have. If there is no drone footage, how can they prove that this situation is happening? There are a lot more inhumane activities happening within Chinese businesses particularly those in factories. You can read some of the old articles mentioning such poor treatment to these workers :

walletbuilders Coin  Cheesy

-

Walletbuilders is really not a good platform to build your coin especially this kind of application. A long time ago, walletbuilders is known to create crap coins, I don't know if that image has already been altered. But the application of this coin is quite promising. For all those drivers or who own vehicles, this may be a good app in addition to other driving apps. But til then, let's see how far their development will take place here.
1525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: July 22, 2020, 11:24:48 PM
I sold my GOLD's today at https://gold.storage/en/market. Everything went smooth. All transactions only takes 3 minutes (includes 2x 12 confirmations on ethereum blockchain). Gold market is enaugh for buying/selling GOLD, so we dont need exchanges. Thank you @GOLD_official.

--

I believe this is one of the gold-backed projects that is pretty doing well in terms of development and maintaining its market value. Even though they have their own exchange, they manage to sustain its value according to the gold market. But how are they generating income here? If they have their gold holdings along with their tokens, how are they maintaining their operations?
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: July 22, 2020, 10:01:53 PM
Which one have bigger chance to get winner and earn much profit between dice and slot? I am newcomer and don't know which on the best and potential to try because looking both slot and dice have good way in gambling site, just want to know how to get winner and easy when running site between slot and dice, just recommended what is the best for gambling site to play. I know many people try with dice because looks easy and have good chance to get winner.
Both game is good but player must prepared to play dice game because we know many people others games did not undestands the other gmes but slots also is a basic games .

That two games is easy to win but is is one of the high risk to lost your money easily so better to choose who is better to you according to your taste. I played alsready that game and I enjoyed play and I think also you too if you play it.

In these two types of gambling, everything depends primarily on luck. This is not a poker game where you can win through skill and experience. Therefore, I would not even say what is better, because in this situation everything is a matter of preference.

Both slots and dice games are based on luck, and I don't see that one game is better than the other in terms of winning chance. Now, it depends on which game do you enjoy most. And that is very subjective. But if you compare about your chance to go home with your winnings, I don't think there is advantage in any of this game of luck.
1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Silvering (SLVG) token - New Silver Asset Backed Cryptocurrency on: July 22, 2020, 09:20:20 PM
The team has a very serious approach to business, such projects are needed in the modern world more than ever. Now that the world is changing so fast, fundamental things are needed that can help people. "Silvering is an ERC20 token that is backed 100% by physical silver. 1 SLVG is backed by 0.5 grams of physical silver. The tokens you hold represent physical ownership of silver than can be redeemed for the physical asset. Once you spend the Silvering token, you will be charged a transaction fee." - this is impressive

Really? What is impressive with that statement? I wonder if there are people that will redeem their physical silver. Also, of course once you transfer your silvering token, you need to pay for gas fees. I don't understand why you are saying that this statement is impressive? Care to elaborate why?
1528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally some justice, scammer sent to jail at South Korea. on: July 22, 2020, 10:05:39 AM
Some people spent years in prison for just stealing a loaf of bread in order to feed themselves and their family member(s), also 36 years in prison for stealing $50 and now, a person who was involved in stealing of 249 million USD by running pyramid scheme faces up to 2.5 years in prison.

What a justice we have... And after stealing $249, we are going to feed him from our pocket (the taxes that you pay from your salary goes to feed  these kind of person while they additionally steal money from you). It gives me a feeling of puke.

That's how justice is really unfair sometimes. And it depends on where you are and your status in life. A lot of those that can't defend themselves will get sentences that are too much but if you have the money and influence, expect that you will get a lighter sentence. That's huge money that we are talking here, and god knows where they stash it somewhere safe and secure. So once that person is out of prison, he doesn't have to work anymore and enjoy what he buried.

Testnet to in 2weeks
Aug 4

ETH 2.0 mainnet as early as Nov 4

Danny Ryan:
~snip~

Let the games begin

So finally they will be launching the final testnet in 2 weeks that's great news but I still have my doubts that they will be able to release their 2.0 mainnet before 2021 let see if they can really deliver this time or not.

And they have bug bounty in place before fully launching ETH 2.0. This will be a good one so to speak. At least they will know the possible vulnerabilities of their network before the community utilize it.

1530  Economy / Economics / Re: Korea proposes 20% tax on crypto trading starting 2021 on: July 22, 2020, 01:46:01 AM
I think 20% tax is high considering that a lot of countries are still enjoying free tax from crypto trading. But maybe, there are benefits among SKoreans?? Watching how SKoreans here will react to this news...
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Dogdata Ecosystem the First blockchain for Dog life Data. on: July 22, 2020, 12:46:19 AM
Bunch of newbie accounts spamming one liners, always a suspicious thing. So I checked DogData Telegram group and found out that they are giving tokens in exchanges for comments on this thread

@OP Do you know that's against forum rules and can get your announcement thread deleted by the mods?
I suggest you stop with that practice and if you want some extra exposure, get signature campaign going on or something like that. By the way, what happened with your previous Ann, why you had to make a new one?

I fully agree with you. Paying users to bump your thread is not a good option to market their project. I guess I also encountered their old thread before. Maybe they want a fresh start on this project. But other important discussions will be forgotten. I think they need to put the old ANN link thread on the OP and lock the old one. So all the discussions will be here now. The old one will just be a reference to those who want to know more about the project.
1532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dominance falling, time to bag in some alts? altcoin party? on: July 21, 2020, 10:46:06 PM
It is always good to accumulate more and more alts especially when the market is ranging for so long the only due diligence you require is that you only have to pick quality coins and check previous highs of each coin and see the largest difference now with reference to previous highs and buy such coins to benefit in next bullish cycle.

Only very few alts will qualify to be good investments. Most of them are crap and hard to increase its value in the market. I guess, I will stick to bitcoin but for alts, maybe set a lil bit but only to selected top alts. I still have hesitations when it comes to alts. Only few of them have the chance to grow. So yeah, as investor, you should really do your homework before shelling out money to these alts.
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin doesn't reach $500K in 3 years.... on: July 21, 2020, 07:34:22 AM
Did John McAfee eat his dick? Lol, if his prediction was true, then it would be a big opportunity for all the people who are using bitcoin. We would earn a lot of money once it happened but sadly it doesn't happen, it means that even those people with a big personality cannot predict the price of the bitcoin. No one knows what will be the price of every cryptocurrency in the future. So you shouldn't rely on their prediction for you investment.

McAfee became the laughing stock in crypto a long time ago. But guess what, a lot of projects are still using him as a front, or endorser or whatever they need to boost their sales. But for those who are long timers in crypto, they know better how to treat crypto personalities that have high regards with themselves. They are just saying things but they really don't mean it.
1534  Economy / Economics / Re: Business / private sector is dead on: July 20, 2020, 11:59:33 PM
I can't say that the business sector is dead "TOTALLY" but maybe I could say that most of them are either dead temporarily or permanently.

The effect of the the virus right now is global so for sure this is a global issue. Most of the businesses already are being forced to closed because of the pandemic especially those small and medium business owners. I would disagree though with your clients as your basis that the business sector is dead. Maybe you aren't good enough to be picked by clients. I see some freelancers that I know that have many clients still.

Maybe next time, be specific not generalized because not all of these are experiencing the same way. Yes maybe most of them are but still there are businesses that are still operating until now.

Private sector is not dead at all. If they are, there will be necessities that we will not avail. Maybe they are not in full operations but I guess most of them are still struggling because of this pandemic. But one way or another, they need to exist as there are some services that people need.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to Sell LEDU on Dcoin!! Fake Volume? on: July 20, 2020, 11:51:48 PM
Sorry but don/t you think tou are already dumping the tokens you just earned from the bounty. it is your reward but that is too quick to dump immediately you got your rewards.
i do use dcoin exchange and all my trades are been executed already immidattely but that does not buttress the fact that the exchange allows bot trading.
That depends on how much the demand for such coin. OP needs a lot of time to see his order to be executed while he was no only the participant who can dump the market and it's better for him to dump it before it was getting eaten by others.
well the price movement of cryptocurrency is only dependent on demand meaning when there are no buyers the price will not go up therefore the developer must try very hard to be able to raise the price possible by providing updates and providing venets that can trigger people to buy and do full support on the platform that is being worked on, so wait until the price rises and you can get a lot of profit.

And also, for me, there's no nothing wrong if the bounty hunter wants to get rid of his share. As we all know, most rewards go worthless if you haven't discarded it at the beginning of trading. So better sell it in the market while there is still value, rather than wait for nothing.
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in a wrong way on: July 20, 2020, 10:57:05 PM
Investing comes with lots of risks which is why we need to make that decision wholesomely. We need to be determined that whatever the outcome is, we must take it. One good way of Investments that I have seen from lots of experienced traders, they spread their investments. They do not fully commit to a single Cryptocurrency since it has the risk of going downhill like other Cryptos too. They just trust their gut feeling and believe in whatever decision that they have made.
something that you do using that money will always have a risk and of course you have to be brave enough to face that risk but you also have to think further about the benefits gained if it is worth the risk or not and as much as possible to remain vigilant because there is no investment with cryptocurrency who can provide guarantees.

Crypto investment is a very risky one, so if you don't have the skills and knowledge yet don't jump on it. And please don't follow someone else's predictions or piece of advice because at the end of the day, it is your money at stake and they don't care about what's gonna happen to your investments. So it is your own smart decision on where to put your money. As a responsible investor, you should at least do your own research and check for pointers that are relevant to the project.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fill your bag with caution on: July 20, 2020, 10:05:04 PM
That depends on the tokens you’re trying to fill your bags with. There are already good tokens that you can invest in wouldn’t have problem.

It’s just like the top coins in the market, we have Bitcoin if you’re filling your bags with Bitcoin when the price is low there is really nothing you will be regretting later, because we know for sure that Bitcoin won’t be going anything less than it did during this pandemic. Other top altcoins too, like Ethereum, that one is for sure because it correlates with Bitcoin and would follow the same movement.

I have no problem investing with bitcoin or eth but for those users who want to explore the world of tokens, they do really have to do their homework. Because most tokens have very short lifespan. And if you can't follow their progress, the chance that you will get rekt is high. They just disappear in no time or slump their price without reason, because the team already left their project.
1538  Other / Off-topic / Re: e-mail from Warren Buffett. Feels Funny?? on: July 20, 2020, 05:48:01 AM
Freakin hilarious. This is pretty much the Saudi/Nigerian prince thingamajig, but in an American version LOL. This deeefinitely makes complete sense because Warren Buffett would definitely no doubt give money to random people on the internet instead of him giving money to charities like he usually does. /s

Exactly! The tome of the letter is obviously someone who wants to screw people. For those naive users that will email the said address, for sure that person will ask for money before sending anything else. We are done with this scamming technique. I hope internet users will just ignore this kind of message and put it in the trash bin immediately.
1539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted projects ruined me !! on: July 19, 2020, 11:23:47 PM
I have always hold unto this and that is that no project should be trusted to the core. You might like the concept of the project and the project itself might have a good layout, but the team through their actions and inactions, might cause the death of the project or the project might plummet beyond a reasonable doubt. I only hold for long, coins that are already established.

That's why it is better to discard fast those tokens or coins that you got from bounty hunting. Because the probability of losing its value is very high. If you will wait too long, you will find out that either they are already delisted in the exchange or the value is already down to 1 sat. Up until now, only the established ones remain to have value like of course btc and eth.
1540  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN price chart suggest $9k on: July 19, 2020, 10:43:01 PM
It would be great if it (analysis) does happen we're here at 9k for too long days after the halving, too boring, actually. It would be great if the price will remain more volatile for now which is expected to increase after the halving (as what the history did though it could be different for this halving) but now, the price seems stable.
completely agree...bring back the volatility!  Grin  It will be interesting to see how bitcoin reacts to the next serious market dip that I expect to come...hopefully it won't follow it down again (or maybe I hope it will and I will buy on the temp dip!)
Ranging in $9k price is not bad, at least they're still a fluctuations that make the price volatile movement but does not that much. I like to read those article that very optimistic about the price, --they are encouraging newbie as well to hold at the moment.

Stabilizing at $9,000 range isn't the only thing that's good even at this current crisis. The fact that Bitcoin didn't show any bearish signs even If it's retesting the $8,900 support level several times, but still managed to close out above support level is considered even a good sign that Bitcoin might rally in the coming months.

A lot of investors are optimistic in the post halving. What's interesting to see is when Bitcoin will break the $10,000 barrier again and what would be the next movement.

Until we don't see such price touches $10k it will always be just a speculation for others but I like your optimism although we don't really know yet when it will touch at $10k. Bitcoin is kind of staying back and forth at $9000+ to $9200+ over a week, I wonder if this $9k-ish will be ever gonna stop to see $8k or $10k. We have had it already before it's just that we were just too lucky to see such price staying at $9k level over the past few weeks.

This is what bitcoin makes an exciting journey for all of us. Been decade of speculating and all, yet, no one can predict the exact price in the market. Even self-proclaimed experts doing their TAs and other types of analyses, they still can't get precise prediction. But we all believe that someday, bitcoin will go up and that idea keep us here in crypto.
