1581  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Housebets.io scammed me and many others on: July 07, 2023, 11:01:11 AM
[...] Just so were clear I was making bets in between $1.00-$2.00 US. That means if I bet $2.00 and I won nothing im only losing $1.98, and because of this bug which I will admit I did notice and think it was peculiar, but in no way did that $0.02 change the outcome of what was going to happen. [...]

You were not scammed. You took advantage of a bug that paid out winning bets and when you lost, returned the entire stake. As we have repeatedly stated, you withdrew profit from this exploit and we are disappointed you didn't contact the community to report this scam and get a bounty, which we gave to our more honest community members who reported it. I will flag this thread to Bitcointalk, as you accusations of being a scam are entirely unjustified.

I don't understand how exactly the bug works. According to OP, at least from what I get it, if he bet $2.00 and lose the bet, he'll lose $1.98, but according to HousebetsIo, he played risk free, which I perceived as if he bet $2.00 and lose the bet, his balance will still be exacatly the same? Which one is it?

I think this should be clarified as it brought quite a magnitude to the case.
1582  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Stealing $10k from me on: July 06, 2023, 04:56:18 PM
Rollbit is well known here to be a reliable and reputable casino and have been running a campaign here for quite some time now with no complaint of scam or any other accusations against them. Am very surprised at your accusations against them and as a matter of fact, i will get the link to their official announcement thread here and possibly the link to their representative here so that you can communicate  with him. At least this could help you get through to the rollbit team to helping you look into your complaints.

See below their profile links for you assistance;

You got it backward, OP was from their ANN and moved their complaint here to make it more focused --and I assume they also want to move it a bit more toward the spotlight-- Razer had been notified and replied on their ANN prior to this thread being published.
1583  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CHANGEHERO.IO / SWAPSPACE.CO SCAMMED ME 10k TEZOS! on: July 06, 2023, 11:55:15 AM
Dear customer,

[...]

Mila, ChangeHero team

Hi, thank you for accepting my invitation and presenting yourself here. If you don't mind, can you explain why OP's KYC need 48 hours to be verified while your ToS specified it to be --you said and I quote-- up to 24 hours or less?

You are right, something is not right about their service and they are ignoring all questions, whereas they are coming online and lurking around.

I wouldn't conclude that fast. Yes, ChangeHero made a questionable decision when they ask for 48H verification process while they agreed it will take 24H or less on their own ToS, and thus contributing to OP's clouded judgment and added more fuel to his burning bright FOMO. But, OP is not completely not at fault here, they shared some degree of blame.

As stated, they've agreed and gave their permission --ChangeHero asked prior to executing it-- to cancel the buy order with the penalty. The rule was explained on their ToS and suppose OP did not read the ToS, it was once again made clear by the customer service during their exchange of communication.

It might be worth to mention that OP also didn't bother to wait for ChangeHero's response. Their last online time was few hours before ChangeHero's reply. If I may pull out an assumption here --other than a possibility that they wrote this thread with alt and monitored the development of their case through their main-- they might finally got out from their frustration and acknowledged that they shared a blame, thus didn't pursue this case any longer.

It might be a bit redundant given the warning of the list of impersonating sites is already made on the opening post, but I think it's better be safe redundant than sorry, I noticed that the impersonating site also have their own tor page.

1585  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit exit from the forum, leason for newbies on: July 05, 2023, 04:51:31 PM

By the way, I am just learning about 1xbit exiting the forum now, for a while I stopped seeing their signature ad campaigns around but thought they were only on break or on a little pause, it's unfortunate for the high ranking accounts that may not be able to get accepted into other signature campaigns at the moment and going forward.

since they've sold their reputation for some of the money they've made, they have to accept it.
but I'm sure those who join in promoting 1xbit don't only have one account. some connections have been uncovered in the past. After all, some accounts don't just get negative tags from participating in campaigns, they already collect a few tags before joining the campaign.
I'm sure there won't be much regret from the participants even though the campaign is over.

Adding to Pandu Geddon's statement, what happened is the other way round, it's not that they can't join other campaign because they got tagged due to participating on 1xbit, they joined 1xbit because they're already tagged. Mostly, 1xbit participants are those who can't join other campaigns due to their violation and negative feedbacks, so they resort only to the last campaign who's... well, at the bottom of the barrel.
1586  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM stake.com stole 10500 xrp on: July 05, 2023, 04:33:55 PM
Sure, I will post pictures in imgbb next time. I did escalate the matter 2 weeks ago to the gaming license provider, however I did not hear back from them at all, not even an automated message. I also read that they wont do anything.

Oh, dear. Contacting their license provider should be taken as the last measure when other means of resolution had been exhausted, this was emphasized on their form, if I am not mistaken. It was stated --and you acknowledged by submitting it-- because once it escalated to the license provider, all hands are tied. I am not sure if any of stakes's representative will still reply here, given their duty is now shifted to answer the inquiries by their licensor. I'll try to PM stunna about this, see if he'll spare some time to put this on his plate though he's now not quite obligated to, so don't hold your breath.
1587  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM stake.com stole 10500 xrp on: July 05, 2023, 10:20:35 AM
Reuploading OP's image [with link to original image intact] for image visibility. OP, for your next post containing image, can you please use imgbb or talkimg? It'll greatly reduce senior members's workload who try to help quoting you for image visibility. Also, for future reference, it'll be better and much preferred to edit a post to add new informations than to make consecutive posts.

As for this case, I think this is the first time I am watching over for case against stake, so I am not sure who should I notify about this, but I think Stunna is the best bet. Before I go PMing them and potentially wasting their time, though, I understand correctly that you've escalate this to their licensor?

Hi,

thanks for the reply, I will attach some screenshots.

Unfortunately I cant log into my account, but I made screenshots before. Here you can see the balance and chats with the support, I will also attach the emails that I wrote to their complaints dept. and their answers, and the email to the curacco gaming license:

So after sending them 15 selfies for 2 weeks, that they finally verified, I would send fraudelnt documents for proof of address LOL? just for the record, I sent them 3 months of electricity bill, and 3 months of bank statement, that shows the payment of it.

This is criminal.

I am sure Mahdirakib mentioned my name because of my Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos thread.
There is no doubt that I have mentioned you for the crypto casinos withdrawal amounts and fees related thread. Perhaps, holydarkness was curious as he isn't active much in the gambling board.
[...]

Ah yes, mea culpa, I have no awareness for that thread. The best possibility that crossed my mind yesterday was that you're trying to reach someone who affiliated --at any degree-- with betnomi to come and address the issue on their behalf, which as far as I know, Pmalek wasn't. Thus, you're addressing the wrong person. My apology for the misunderstanding, as stated, it's a pure curiosity; and if I may add, also with a slight concern that it'll lead people to think Pmalek was invited for that reason [to address the issue in position as someone affiliated with them]. Thus, the exact wording of the post.
1589  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit exit from the forum, leason for newbies on: July 04, 2023, 09:31:23 AM

You really don't need to get accepted before earning a red tag, the moment you make an application  there, and it finally gets noticed,  then that's the end because I'm sure you might possibly  earn about two red tags and even more for just applying  and the red tags keeps flowing in the moment  you get accepted.
Funny how people let impatience drive them away from their greater goal and now I'm sure most of those accounts took some great effort to grow and just got condemned.

I was worried why it took @thymos, don't know if I got the name correctly and other appropriate persons to take down all of 1xbits related campaigns down but good a thing its already down.
Funny how people aren't bothered  about what tomorrow  holds but rather focus on just today.

I'm sorry for all participants of 1xbits especially those who got red tagged for unintentionally applying, hope you get things straight.

Because moderators don't handle scam accusations, they trust the members --especially DTs-- to help and warn each others. Theymos strive to create a decentralized ecosystem for the forum, which is also why the new ever-changing DT system is introduced. I think it'll be a tad bit counterproductive from theymos' goal if moderators intervening on accusations and reputations by taking down members or platforms themselves.
1590  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maverick Games 🚀 BTC & USDT Sportsbook, Casino & Poker | Licensed & Regulated on: July 03, 2023, 07:20:21 PM
Of which the same documents and suspicion had been submitted by them to the licensor in response to the allegation you made against them, and Isle of Man made the same finding and decision?

No one asked me for documents. The Isle of Man licenser did not investigate, but immediately took the side of the casino.

With no intention to put salt into your wound, but rather to clarify the situation which you currently stand right now, I have yet to access the complain form and the terms of dispute resolution provided by Isle of Man, but if it works like other licensor, the complaint raised to them was submitted under an agreement and acknowledgement that you've exhaust every possible ways of dispute resolution, and that their decision is final.

I think that clause put on their form serves for this very purpose, to let you know that they have their own way to make a ruling, and thus give you a chance to look for alternative dispute resolution parties that work in ways you preferred more.

Much that anyone wanted to do something, there were nothing they [well, we] can do because of that very same agreement you've put yourself into. You both agreed to respect the verdict placed by Isle of Man, so there's no more thing anyone can do. Even Maverick themselves. If the table was turned and they're the one ruled as guilty, they'll also have to respect that too.

You have my sympathy, though I know it's meaningless to you. And this is the end of this case, sadly.
1591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Gold-Backed Crypto - Yay or Nay? on: July 03, 2023, 05:27:06 PM
1. Please take your time and read my responses as it seems that you either haven't read them or understand them. Gold price is very stable and anytime for purchase is a good time, unless the price has risen significantly. That question doesn't relate at all to gold-backed currency. Any funds accumulated at any time should be transformed into gold.

2. Each token represents a certain amount of gold. At this stage 100 billion GRC = $1,300 worth of gold. So it's a gold-backed currency by definition. That number will only continue to increase as we accumulate gold. So, please don't mislead people and do more research.

3. Solved.

4. I provided the numbers, but for some reason you ignored them.

5. That point is explained in great detail in my address to holders on Youtube. Please revisit and ask questions afterwards, if you don't understand still.

6. "Because I'm trustworthy, and the government full of liers." To verify this statement you need a little intelligence. The second part of statement is a common sense and you need basic understanding of economics, history of currencies, oil industry monopoly, corruption and the knowledge that 1% of richest people in the world have more wealth than 99% of others. So, it's pretty clear. First part of the statement you verify through the research of my profile, listening to what I say and see if I act on what I say. So this statement is very easily verifyiable and if you cannot understand it, I think not much I can do for you here.

1. I actually gave them a thorough read, quite thorough that the inconsistencies in your explanation throughout this discussion baffled me. The very post I quoted for example, "Gold price is very stable and anytime for purchase is a good time, unless the price has risen significantly" which one is it? Stable that you can buy at anytime, that any fund accumulated should be transformed into gold, or that it has a possibility of significant appreciation [and with it, a depreciation too] which means we'll need an educated guess --where one of the means is through macro economics-- and buy them at a correct time?

2. Just to be sure we're on the same page before stepping further, 1B GRC equals to 1,300 USD worth of gold is because you're currently possessing 1,300 USD worth of gold? This rate will change in reflect to the gold reservoir you have next month, like, it'll become 1B GRC equals to 1,300 USD worth of gold?

4. Oh, pardon me, please point me out to these numbers and I'll humbly apologize for the oversight. Certainly you're not referring to the mention of 2%? Because I am quite confident anyone reading these dialog of ours will easily understand that I asked for --and this has been made clear-- a use case, as in, suppose your price depreciated 50% from today's rate, how will the gold kick into action and how will it stabilize price? We're talking numbers here. If I may help you, here, we can use this data I pulled from your web,

so suppose tomorrow the price of GRC plummeted 50%, what used to be 100 USD equals to 150 million of GRC, it now equals to 225 million of GRC. How will the gold reservoir kick into action and stabilize the price back to 150 million? And let's not stop there, we should assume the worst too while we're at it. Afterall, you're proposing a sense of security, not the false one. Let's also assume an ATL and massive dump scenario, the price depreciated 99%, so 100 USD equals to almost 300 million of GRC.

5 and 6. These points might be connected through the same root of problem: that I am not watching your youtube. With no intention to be rude, I have no time to watch 1 hour [and that's just 1 video] of explanation while I have other things to do [I really am currently swamped, I am not trying to be a snide here]. It's not like reading where I can do in silence while waiting in line or wait for someone, or in between the quiet morning with my coffee, I don't bring my headset all the time, and as I respect public privacy, I certainly won't disturb them by playing your explanation video through my device's speaker, and I like my morning as quiet as possible.

So, an explanation in writing is very much welcomed. I am more than happy to "listen" to that explanation of yours if you can provide a transcription of it. Not sure why this should be asked on the first place, given lots of people shared my issue, an explanation this crucial should be easily accessible, preferably placed on whitepaper. Or... you can do something easier by just tell me in brief what's your explanation is about and how exactly can you issue credit card and erect a banking entity without legal body.

[...] @Pmalek, are  you aware of the current issue of Betnomi?

I am not, no. This is the first time I hear about it. I got a notification by my bot that you and Poika5 mentioned my name in this thread. If it's only been 24 hours (more or less), let's give them some time to see what happens. Nothing else anyone here can do. I think icopress used to be their campaign manager. Maybe I am wrong. @icopress do you know something more? Are you in contact with anyone from their team?

Pure curiosity, what does betnomi have to do with you? I've been wondering about this since I read the mention made by Mahdirakib; far as I know you're not affiliated with them at any degree?

Oh, by the way, icopress has addressed the issue and the attempt he made to to contact them,

I last inquired about Betnomi's affairs about a week ago (asking for the funds they owe me for my sig and regarding the case of one user who contacted me). And I made it clear that if my case is not resolved, then I will have to terminate the contract with them (to which their manager answered me that Sorsis will be online soon and all cases will be resolved). To be honest, I have no idea what's going on with the platform itself, but I'll find out what I can (including checking the poker lobby),

Hey there,

Thanks for posting your issue here.

[...]

This is not a good response and does not answer anything.

You say incorrect pricing.

What was the correct line at the time? Please give me this answer. I have the right to know what was "correct price"

Why are you freerolling me and waiting for game to be finished? What is if it lost, I would have lost my original bets?

Yes $10k+ was lost because I won and those are my winnings. They were confiscated from me because of a false "incorrect odds" claim. I have shown you proof that other websites had the same odds as rollbit.

I'll be waiting for a detailed reply. thank you

Edit: Just came to my awareness that you've made a scam accusation thread against Rollbit. As such, I recommend you to stop replying here and move all the discussion into the scam accusation thread so it can be more focused and help people track the development of your case easier. In reflect of this, I am also moving the original content and the query of this post to the accusation thread.

See you in 5 years, I'll be a member
If it takes you 5 years to rank up then you are not putting enough effort in. There are a couple different threads where users can ask for a post review (make sure you qualify before posting). You also just need to try to contribute and eventually you'll start seeing merits come in. Try not to be discouraged if they don't come in 1 week. No reason to be in a hurry.

He just needed few weeks to reach member rank, actually. He has met the merit requirement for member [10] and posted enough to reach the member treshold, all he needed left to reach member is time for the forum's biweekly activity update to caught up with his post count to reach 60. End of this month will be the time, if I correctly consult my calculation with this ancient spreadsheet
1596  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Exposing Binomo's Unscrupulous Practices !#BINOMO.com big scam on: July 02, 2023, 05:52:18 PM
You have to post the transaction ID or screenshot of your transaction that you did deposit money on this platform so you can verify that it is indeed a scam, so far there are two mentions of Binomo in this section but there was no proof of deposit.
There's really no need to (at least not for me) share screenshot in order to prove that Binomo is a bullshit exchange. [...]

No need indeed. The name rang a bell on my head that I came across it a while back. A quick ninjastic brought me to an even newer post than what I had in the back of my mind, about this... exchange,

Your story reminds me of one of the fraudulent investment phenomena that occurred in Indonesia some time ago called (Binomo), such practice is exactly what you described with the gambling scheme or better known as the money games and binary options model, sweetly offered by influencers as if carrying out these activities is a profitable and legal action for their customers, without suspecting that the victims have experienced fantastic losses from such practices.

1597  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit disabling account and confiscating balance of $410 on: July 02, 2023, 08:54:33 AM
Hello, I moved from the United States to Germany in February and have my residence permit since March. The document I uploaded clearly is from Germany, not USA.
I am not able to check anymore but it could indeed have been that my phone was on a US-connection (because I still have my old US phone membership and sometimes still use it to watch videos on my phone which require a US IP-address) while I was doing the verification. This was unintentional but I think it is a way too quick judgement to think that if a person 1 time (possibly) logs in from a US IP-address he or she immediately is from USA. As you can see in my account history all of my account activity was done from my German IP-address and no VPN was ever used.

As I said, I uploaded a legal German document as my ID, and if you want I can also provide you a recent German utility bill.

If you then verify that and let me log back in then I am satisfied with the outcome. After all now it seems my account disabling all comes down to a mistunderstanding.
Although I still find it strange that when I asked for the reason of the disabling, all I was told was "sportsbook abuse and we cannot tell you any more details" and now it turns out to be about being from a prohibited country.

So please contact me on my registered email and we will continue on from there.
If I get my money paid out I will ofcourse update this scam accusation and change it to resolved.

If you could help us better understand, are you a US citizen moving to Germany or are you a Deutsche who moved to US for some reason and currently moving back to Germany?

1600  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit disabling account and confiscating balance of $410 on: July 01, 2023, 09:48:45 AM
I'm kind of weirded out that OP asked for the reason for breach of Ts and Cs but it wasn't provided to the account, don't they have a right to know what rules that they've broken especially if it's obscure like having the original IP in a country that you're not allowed to operate on? Rollbit has been getting a lot of accusations lately, hopefully they clear this up and that most of them are fakes.

If you read Razer's explanation, it was their sportsbook provider, Betby, who flagged OP's account first. Reading between lines from this info provided and OP's chat with Lunr, I think this is when OP got disabled but can still log in, performed KYC, and got banned as the nature of their KYC itself breached terms agreed by OP. So, there were two offenses that OP probably did, sport betting abuse that's flagged by Betby, and geoblock circumvention flagged by Rollbit's internal security team.

I am sure I have no perfect knowledge how it works between a provider and bookie, but with the assumption above, it is not too far fetched to think that Betby did not inform Rollbit the reason they flagged OP, and/or, Rollbit did not chase this further as their own investigation bear result of another breach.

As for why Lunr did not tell OP on their chat that OP was caught circumventing georestriction, it is quite established that customer support and security team is not exactly on a speed dial. With the amount of complaints made by customers, both legit and cheaters, on daily basis, I think it's quite easy to imagine how one or two inquiries from a complaining customers did not arrive or escalated to the security team for them to provide the reason behind the issue. Not that I am saying it's is a right practice, I am just trying to say that this is one of the benefit that the forum provide, another way to raise complaints where community manager like Razer can try to revisit and get clearer assesment of the issue by getting in touch with both departments.
