Is there something wrong with this thread hilariousandco? This is the alternative crypto thread is it not? If you don't want to be bothered with a legitimate question about Doge's then why even take the time to post in here?

cuz we see these crap nothing saying doge shit topics about 10000000000000000000000 times a day  Angry Angry

This. And there's plenty of Doge threads for this to go in already.
16702  Other / Meta / Re: position downgraded? on: January 20, 2014, 02:55:31 PM
please can someone explain why my position has been recently downgraded from Member to Junior Member?  Cry I was actually hoping to get upgraded to Full Member soon... Cheers

As you are unable to search the Board you are posting is if there is already a topic about your problem on the front page, Junior Member seems fitting. Maybe even Newbie.

See here:

I found the answer by a simple search, so I guess I am worthy to be a "member".

i am seeing now that lots of people have been downgraded. however i don't have much online time now as i am traveling and having bad internet, so thanks for your help! and its upto you really to feel good about your somewhat arrogant add on Wink

I have been downgraded too.

The member group limits have changed:

Jr. Member   activity: 30

Full Member   activity: 120
Sr. Member   activity: 240

I guess this is gonna be the new y cant i change my avatar question now  Cheesy.
16703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge to the moon...? on: January 20, 2014, 02:52:21 PM
Everyone was saying Doge was dead but in the last week it's gone from .0002 all the way to .00134 on Cryptsy this morning. I'm sure some will say it's another pump and dump, and others will say this coin is on its way to .01. Guess we'll have to wait and see...

If it's not dead it won't be alive for long. And I guess now the Newbie forum has gone this section is gonna get all these threads now.
16704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We have Subforums! on: January 20, 2014, 02:50:09 PM
Too little. If Bitcointalk wants to be the leader of cryptocurrency forums, it needs to do more for the Alts.

We don't.

Ah, the "yo dawg" phenomenon, a forum within a forum. It funny to see the different forum culture/etiquette between bitcointalk and the altcoin section. Where btctalk is friendly and offers (mature)discussions and debates, the altcoin section is complete opposite. Every new coin is like a religion with fundamentalist followers. Don't you dare ask questions or offer constructive criticism, you trolling hater you. Noobs joining and acting like it's their house. It would be good fun if newbie jail lasted for a week and not four hours Grin

What do you expect from idiots who get involved with coins called Dogecoin, Coinyecoin or Fuckcoin solely because of their name, and continually spout their unfunny, unoriginal meme catchphrases constantly.

A mix of the worst from reddit and 4chan. To bad it's the crowd who turn me off and not the coins.

4channers are usually pretty funny and come up with original material or create the memes in the first place, but I haven't been on there in a while. Better shit to do.
16705  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: MakeBTC.org Pyramid Scheme on: January 20, 2014, 02:30:14 PM
That's my first message to the forum, and it can be a quite insecure information for many people. But I would like to share the information I recently obtain about MakeBTC.org

About a week ago I registered to this site, with a very low confidence. So that I just load 0.05 BTC to the system. 2-3 days ago I add 0.053 BTC again since I saw people started to withrewing money, and logs are open to public. And today i made a withdrew, to try if it's work or not. And few minutes ago, I confirm that I take 0.032 BTC payment from the site to the Blockchain.

Quote
So you've put in 0.103BTC and gotten out 0.032BTC?
Yes up to now, I've put 0.103 BTC and take back 0.032 BTC. But that withdraw was just testing for the system for me. Cos I think it's not the best idea to pull money back for now, while it's growing. If I want to take money again, tonight, with the next level up, I could take 0.041 BTC again. But I'll keep them to raise my level.

So you can withdraw at any time or do they choose or have scheduled payouts?

yes!  Smiley

but to start you must have 50 postsactivity, so get at it so you'll have to wait about 2 weeks or a month and post 40 times

No, I got only 50% what I was supposed.
Don't blame stunna and don't give neg trust to him
You are fucked up by yourself.
Stunna is paying for constructive posts not a single line, +1 and such scam posts as for me I got my full payment as much as I have done. First try to figureout your own problem before blaming others.
Good luck

Single lines can't be constructive?
Whatever, I take my feedback back if Stunna take first.

Doubt it'll work like that. Plus, bad feedback wont matter to Stunna as you're not on a trusted list, but he is, so now you've got a big red scammer shitstain all over yourself. Did you leave him bad feedback first?

Yes, and my feedback is trusted.

What do you mean it's trusted? You're need to be on the Trusted list for that.

this is a scam it says i have recieved payout but i have not Sad

Most of these pyramid schemes are outright scams. They sucker in greedy fools stupid enough to send them money.

The withdraw function seems to be working fine.  I didn't get in the system early (joined on the 17th), but I've already gotten back .32BTC and raised my level a bit.  It's not the flashiest thing in the world, but it's fun to keep up with it.

How much did you put in?
16709  Economy / Economics / Re: Canada's government is printing it's own digital currency? on: January 20, 2014, 01:55:33 PM
how can you "print" a digital currency  Huh

Isn't that what pre-mining is?
16710  Economy / Economics / Re: what affects the bitcoin currency? on: January 20, 2014, 01:54:14 PM
Hi,
is there anything else, which affects up and down the bitcoin currency?
why go up and down so sharply?

Thanks before  Smiley

Panic sellers effect the price.

To paraphrase a cool statement from a friend, "A Bitcoin will always be worth a Bitcoin." Just thinking out loud:)

Yeah, a Bitcoin will always be worth a Bitcoin. Maybe one day we will peg $ & £ to BTC instead.
16711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why Bitcoin will win ... the speed of credit cards with the cost of cash on: January 20, 2014, 01:52:14 PM
Just one example.  http://shinybars.com/t/paymentoptions

Simplified you have three options:
CC = fast + 3% more expensive
"Bank stuff" = slow + 3% cheaper
Bitcoin = fast + 3% cheaper

Tell this to the masses. They wont listen. Merchants might though. We need to target them first, then the rest will follow,

16714  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] PS4 - COD Ghosts Bundle on: January 20, 2014, 01:23:40 PM
I bought it without realizing you can't play PS3 games on it until like Q4.

In what capacity will you be able to play them? Are they offering a firmware update or are you talking about a download store or something?

No he's saying PS3 games just can't be played on PS4 .... but he didn't realize that at the time of PS4 purchase.

Sony have made that clear for a long time, there would be no backward compatibility with PS3

Well that's what I thought but he said until Q4?
16715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do Bitcoin Hackers Meet/Hangout? on: January 20, 2014, 12:09:50 PM
I can show you where. Its in the deep web, the way deep!  I can take you there and guide you into one of the main hidden forums in the hidden wiki where there is btc being sold for black market prices  (about 50 % less than what you all pay over here on the clear net).   Its up to you.   Im not free.  I do charge. I dont like wasting time.

I can have you there in 5 minutes.   email me suzyrose1995@yahoo.com

Haha. I'm calling bullshit on this because everybody knows hackers don't use Bitcoin. They use Viruscoin  Roll Eyes.
16716  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Litecoin Mining - is it profitable? on: January 20, 2014, 11:57:36 AM
Thanks for all the help. Going to start mining DOGE, purely to see how it all works. Never mined before so it's more about that for me. And if I make a profit then great  Grin

Let us know how it goes, but wouldn't it be better maybe mining another coin? I heard/think Doge is on its way down in mining profitability, popularity and price.

Yeah maybe, but I don't want to mine some 'pump-and-dump' crap. Doge has a little longevity at least. I'll look into it properly before I start  Smiley

Doge is pump and dump crap. They pretty much all are, and Doge has been dumped already, They only real way to make money from these coins is to get in with the pumping and dumping.
16717  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Proof that anarchy can work on: January 20, 2014, 11:49:44 AM
Technology empowers people.  Weapons technology empowers people.  Within 5 years it will be possible to construct a small nuclear device for less than 10 btc.  You can't stop the signal.

lolwut? What are you basing this on? Sources etc?
16718  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TAKE THESE MURDERERS BACK TO COURT AND HAVE THEM CONVICTED! on: January 20, 2014, 11:47:58 AM
I watched a very disturbing video the other day. In 2011, a gang of thugs attacked a mentally ill homeless man for no apparent reason. The whole incident was caught on camera, and there were many witnesses - unfortunately people were too scared to step in and save the man's life. All the while he was pleading with them to stop, and calling for help. And they killed him.

Despite the video evidence and audio recording of the incident, the killers were not sentenced, and were allowed to walk free. This is a complete disgrace to humanity.

Here is the video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6yaeD-E_MY#t=895

Stand up and make some noise.

What was the reason that they walked free exactly?
16719  Other / Meta / Re: Reverting to newbie again? on: January 20, 2014, 11:45:34 AM
Hey can anyone tell me why I've been reverted to newbie again? Were the requirements raised? And is it just me or has the newbie section been removed from the home page? I'm not finding it! How can I go back to Jail without passing Go and without collecting my $200 if I can't find the Jail?!   Huh

It's been archived. You can still reply to topics in there though.

the Ammounts have changed but I don't see why you should be newbie

He needs 30 activity now.
