Interesting argument.. To me it breaks down to: Is a user breaking a campaign's rules scamming the campaign? Should they be tagged for scamming? Is it a deceptive breach of contract? I think I would trust someone less if I knew them to break such petty contracts.. I don't think it should be a forum rule and that campaigns should be able to make it a private rule for their campaign, or not.. Some can post well from multiple accounts, like TP.. What has always confused me... is the fervour with which some folks seem to hunt out these alt accounts who are "abusing campaigns"... I'm not sure if they see it as an "easy" way to score some merits, as opposed to other forms of contribution to the forum?  I have thought about this also... It seems like an effort that can be made to increase social status, and maybe some just really like lording over others.. One could also see it as battling spam, which it may in many cases, but may not in all cases.. TP could have HB on chipmixer and it wouldn't bother me a bit unless TP was breaking contract with CM by doing so.. |

I can understand insane volume on exchanges that operate with 0% fees for regular trades as these are my favorite to trade and even I can put down insane volume on them, but this exchange is claiming 0.2% fees on all trades, and $1,281,749,865 in volume per day, and therefore raking in a massive $2.5MM in revenue per day? Is this true? Or are you allowing some users/bots to trade with no or very low fees? Is their some explanation for this or are you claiming that you are actually making $2.5mm per day in trade fees and it is all legit charged volume? don't let your bias cloud your judgement and let them try to resolve their issues rather than attacking them for trying.

They are either trying to control us, or our money, because if they were serious about making the world a better place, then they would be stopping and cleaning up those shitholes.. Look up US EPA Superfund sites.. We clean stuff up that happened 100 years ago when we didn't know better.. We don't litter.. You might get punched if a fisherman sees you throwing any trash in a river around here.. Funny story.. I borrowed my mom's 4X4 truck to go 2 tracking, offroading, and had a couple of idiots in the back of the truck probably half drunk.. I guess their was a trash bag in the back of the truck and one of those idiots threw it out somewhere out in the woods.. The Police showed up at my moms house and were going to charge her with littering but I told them what happened and I got a very stern warning.. Rightly so.. The police willeven come after you!! I wouldn't do something like that on purpose for sure.. I still remember that because that guy pissed me off doing that, and he has since been excommunicated from my life for that and various other examples of ideocracy.. I don't understand how the morals on that are so different in other parts of the world.. But yeah, make me spend a ridiculous amount more money to maintain my relatively clean lifestyle so I don't produce more CO2? Yeah.. Yeah, No.. If Tor was only used for illegal activities as you suggest, then no one would use it as doing so would make it blatantly obvious that you were doing something illegal. Plenty of people use Tor all the time for a variety of reasons. Furthermore, the deep web is accessible from any browser, it just isn't indexed. It is not synonymous with the dark web. Saying Tor is a risk because you could download malware from the dark web is the same as saying owning a phone is a risk because a scammer might call you.
This is basically what I was trying to say.. What do you guys think about using TOR from Windows 10?, compared to Win 7, Ubuntu, or even Tails? Is it bad to run TOR on Win 10? Dangers? I'm barely tech savvy enough to make Tails work, I'm ashamed to admit.. It's always something that doesn't work right... I had an old version of tails and remember it being "better" from my perspective as in it just worked and worked right every time without a bunch of messing around compared to the new one, which doesn't like being installed on something not "removable", bunch of glitches like pixilated screens when loading, and internet adapter problems, can't even get the Ethernet to work on my Alienware with Tails much less wifi for some reason but works if I boot it on some other computers.. It doesn't even work the same way consistently it seems.. Ugh.. It's not my thing I guess, IDK.. I think I kinda understand the ideas behind it but suck at actually doing it and dealing with all the bugs in almost any linux I have ran.. Qubes OS + Whonix is like out of my league.. I tried putting Qubes on a portable HDD recently actually and couldn't even get it to boot and gave up immediately, lol.. |
