You don't seem to ask questions of the right people. If you spent half the time you spend bitching about Darkcoin on the Shadowcash IRC channel actually doing your research you'd have more info.
Masternodes require 1000 DRK to be set up as a negative incentive that disallows one party running or controlling too many of them in conjunction with a rarity of supply caused by masternodes removing coins from supply (until the owner of a masternode decides to cash out thus returning those coins to the economy).

More masternodes would potentially benefit the DRK anon system however natural growth of the number of masternodes is deemed enough as coins are mined, bought and invested. The masternode count is slowly but surely growing. Changing requirements is out of the question because that would disenfranchise the owners of existing masternodes by messing with their ROI. Keep in mind that masternodes will be providing other services in the future. If you're not thinking about this, you're missing a trick. |

Some of the other anons have quite interesting tech here and there. The problem is, you guys come and promote your coins on this thread cos it gets a lot of traffic from people interested in this sector. You say "buy this new anon-coin cos it's got the best anon / bullet proof / fantastic new algo since sliced bread". Then we put put a few BTC your way to hedge ourselves. Then the coin tanks and we loose all out money. That has happened with EVERY SINGLE ONE BAR NONE of the alternative anon-techs over the last year. Look at Navajo - it's already nearly 25% off it's high from only mid February. Then on the 9th when you release your "new anon tech" it will tank again cos there's no new news after that. Monero used to be a third of DRK's market cap. Then it was a fifth, now it's a seventh. Meanwhile, all the time there's spamming of how this or that tech is the new future etc etc. The fact is that technical advances are no substitute for market trust. If Darkcoin f*cks up big time in some way then it's good to have some hedging in other areas, but absent that I only expect it's position to consolidate. Navajo is not the pump & dump coin, we are at the healthy level from january till today. there was some corrections on the market, but there is no any p&d groups on the navajo market, only NAV community and investors are on the market. Good luck with your launch, I sincerely mean that. I also apologise for my earlier profanity. However, crossposting on other coin threads is not a good idea for PR reasons. What we need is the price to go to at least $10 to get people's attention. I am no pro but I have been watching markets for around 2 years and people would rather pay more then less . Strange but true. Let's get darkcoin noticed it's an excellent coin with the best dev on the planet . Darkcoin deserves to be trading at much higher levels. I been reading this forum every day since page 240 ish and it's been the best project I been apart off..

Well if you see what happens with Drk is that it will slowly drop again like it did without those walls,it will find a new bottem again and will stay in that zone.
what the new bottem will be i dont know,if you have lots of money just buy and setup masternode's,if you dont have a big budget wait and see what happens in 2 weeks and further.
DRK always found a stable bottom before Otoh's walls. As you say, lets see what the next two weeks has in store. In the meantime, I expect that we will see some movement today first. |
