I guess its most importantly because of the reason that Bitcoins tech has proven itself. Bitcoin is around for quite some time now and on top of the first movers advantage it just showed the world what it is capable of.

It is normal, buy the dips and it will pay. It is because Bitcoin price is raising and people change alts to take profits from Bitcoin and ETH! Iam a long term holder! I guess the recent dip is more likely because of the reassembly of the team, this made weak hands panic sell their Ae's. Bitcoin was more or less stable the last days as far as I can tell. But maybe your right with ETH, that surged to a new all time high. |

Usually when a crypto goes up this high, there is a massive retracement. Not with Power Ledger, people are holding on.

In general I dont think that imposing proper regulations on crypto is a bad thing, because there is so much scamming in ICO's and market manipulation on the exchanges going on. But if they only plan to control crypto/ fiat conversions, than this failed the big picture in my opinion.

The online store integration will allow us three options at the outset (and the same will apply to other retailers adopting Monartis payments, via Shopify from the beginning and then from the additional e-commerce platforms over time). Those options are essentially:
1. Set pricing in MNT
2. Peg the price directly to another currency (eg the dollar, as you mention)
3. Peg the price directly to another currency (eg the dollar) and then apply a price modification
In the case of our initial store, we envisage using option 3. So to take how that will work in practice:
Product A might be priced at $50. We will perform the conversion into MNT and then discount, allowing us to shown an MNT price against the dollar price.
So, to take a hypothetical example, product A might cost the buyer $50 (in fiat), but only $45 (in MNT).
That pricing structure allows us to encourage use of MNT from the beginning, which is important for two reasons:
1. We want the currency to be in use. Offering discounts in our own store is one means of encouraging spending.
2. We want transactions flowing through our store from the outset. That's important for demonstrating to other retailers that the integration is successful and that consumers are willing to spending via MNT in a digital store

Hi there, thanks for the detailed explanation. This cleared things up and makes sense to me. But you will still have to adapt prices in MNT if the value goes up or down right? I mean for example if product A is listed for $45 in MNT (lets say this would be 20 MNT) and one day later 1 MNT shoots up to $10 each, so you would have to adjust the pricing to 4,5 MNT for product A am I right? Nobody would buy product A anymore for 20 MNT because it would be equal to $200. |

I would definitely say no, it isnt too late to buy NEO, there is still huge growth potential in this coin. I expect big news and huge rise in price in 2018, the hype train for NEO can take off again, thats my feeling at least.

Hi all, in now a good time to invest in Bancor? I am really interested in this project but a friend of mine advised me to wait till end of december before since by then bitcoin hardfork will be over and prices of all cryptos will com down. Is this true? I am new to the crypto game
Hi Upcomingdiamondinvestor, in general it definitely is a good time to buy Bancor (BNT) because its traded still heavily under the ICO price (ICO price was: 0.01 ETH per BNT), so if you buy now you definitely make a good deal! But on the other hand, the price rose a little bit in the last days, so one can speculate that it will come down again. When and if this will happen, nobody can tell. I personally wouldnt bet on anything related to Bitcoinforks (as it seems there is one every month nowadays anyways). So if you ask me, its a good time to buy BNT, Bancor got a long way ahead on its journey! |

Hello guy, I have got some infos that SC will hit 0.00000065 - 0.00000080 in the next few days while it is now 0.00000053, So it is time to buy SC  If you want people to believe you, you should be more specific with your "info", otherwise this just looks like you bought some SC and want the price to go up and therefore convince people to buy it. So please: what info? By the way, I would be really happy for SC to finally go up a bit again, its been dumped and never recovered (at least for me). |

Bancor network grows day by day. Price raise $2 to 2.6 . My target is $10 and i think we will able to see that on when altcoin rally starts
I think the recent rise in price is due to the ETH price surge, its not because people started buying a lot of BNT, but $10 is reasonable in mid/ long term I guess. Although I dont think that we will see it happening when other alts take off, because Bancor stays for sustainable, organic growth. But we will see, everything is possible in crypto! |

Bancor is almost dead project, why this one is always under ICO price? My worst project is bancor.
Bancor isnt dead at all. Just because your BNT token value didnt rise like on other projects, doesnt mean that the project is not developing. The Bancor team is constantly working, and developing the platform and the ecosystem is growing. More partnerships and so on. We knew from the start that this project was about the long tail of crypto and not about a quick buck. |

The concept sounds pretty interesting! One question though. Will the prices in the online store (as one is paying with MNT) be constantly changing due to volatility in the cryptomarket? I mean you cant peg the price to a certain amount of MNT right? Otherwise eighter buying the token is unattractive because its to expensive compared to the value of the products or the investors will rather use their MNT to buy the goods in the store than hold their MNT. So in conclusion, it would only make sense to peg the prices in the store to dollar value. But what would be the incentive to use the store then? Please evaluate a bit and correct me if I got something totally wrong here. All the good to you!

but I see BTG is already listing in etherdelta, then why you need a wallet again. why do not you sell this time only if you are afraid of trouble in the coin.
This is NOT BTG! BitcoinGold is a fork of Bitcoin and can never trade on EtherDelta, because ED is a decentralized exchange that runs through the Ethereum network, so only Ethereum based tokens are tradable there. I dont know which ethereum token is called BTG, but its certainly not the BitcoinGold forked coin. |

Good one. But joke aside, this table does imply that BitCore is the best version of Bitcoin right? Thats the one that is trading at around 30USD now and was airdropped in some sort to holders or bitcointalk forum members if I remember correctly. What makes this fork superior? The different mining algorhytm or the blocksize?
If you held btc on nov 2 you can get btx 1:0.5, so 100 bitcoin would give you 50 bitcore. If you register your bitcore address by signing a message (the one that holds your balance) on bitcore.cc you will get 3% of your btx balance on monday's. In december this will move to 4% of your btx balance, until the rest of the coins are totally distributed amongst the holders. It has never been airdropped like for free no. So you either get your btx from the bitcoin snapshot, from mining btx (same rewards as bitcoin) or from buying, and then you can opt for weekly airdrop if you register your address. They have created their own algorithm (time travel/ asic resistant) , btx scales better, huge number of tx possible, and fastest out there. That is some project with a good intention! I love that. On top its a real product, which most ICO's nowadays dont have and therefore the demand for the ICO is really high. I wish I had learned earlier about WaBi, hopefully I will be able to buy some coins at the 4th day. All the good to the team and the project!
