2061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happiness in bitcoin on: December 26, 2020, 11:27:25 PM
Many bitcoin users are truly happy today because they definitely gained a considerable amount of profit from bitcoin's recently sudden increase that it have reached its price at $26K. But I honestly think that not everyone are happy about bitcoin's new ATH because not all of them have been able to bought a bitcoin during and before of its bull run due to financial reasons, especially we are still in the middle of the pandemic.
2062  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought BTC at 23.5K$ on: December 26, 2020, 11:05:02 PM
If you have bought bitcoin in a price of $23.5K, I think you are really happy today because bitcoin's price is now on $26K. So even you are a little bit late on buying bitcoin, you still have been able to gain profit in the middle of it's expensive price today. Buying bitcoin in an above price of $20K is a little bit of a risk because we can't honestly determine when will bitcoin's price will go up or down due to it's volatility, that we might experience a sudden downfall.
2063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $20 000 BTC. We did it on: December 23, 2020, 05:52:59 PM
And now the next challenge will be.. can Bitcoin hold this value until the end of 2021? I just can't believe that in spite of world economic crisis due to this current pandemic which is still in effect but Bitcoin did reach this all time high therefore how much more if the world become new normal in which people can go back to their way of life.
Well, I'd say that due to this pandemic Bitcoin became a thing because investors tend to move their stash in crypto to save their money from falling in stock. Through this pandemic, everyone finds out how good investing in crypto is because no matter what phenomenon we face it won't directly affect the market. And now a lot of institutions and companies are now venturing into it which is why I believe that the growth is now more firm compared to what we have before and that could be the reason why Bitcoin break the resistance and set its new ATH. Finally, after we been through we finally saw Bitcoin reaching the $20k mark and it keeps growing.
It's really terrible when seeing the price of bitcoin can reach a price of more than $20k because if you look at its history this is the latest high price of bitcoin, I am very afraid bitcoin will collapse again because I see demand from this year is very different, few people are interested in bitcoin but strangely can have this expensive price.
Indeed. Most of us here are terrified that bitcoin's price will collapse again, just like what happened in 2017; that is why I am temporarily stopped buying bitcoin for now because I don't want to experience the same thing that happened to me at that time. But this year is very different because many big companies are having a huge interest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that mass adoption is really happening, so there are chances that bitcoin will stay on its $20K price until the next year of 2021.
2064  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your next prediction on bitcoin in Jan 2021? on: December 23, 2020, 05:29:19 PM
If you look at the current price of bitcoin at $23,416, this grows over time, it looks like it will get closer
to $24K and it is likely to be $25K very close.  It takes a  factor supporting   higher demand to achieve
such prices. But the chances of reaching  $25K are  highly likely. This must  be a positive trend that is
sustainable if it is to reach that price.
From my point of view, if bitcoin would continue to rise or will hit the $25K price, there is a possibility that bitcoin's price will not go down just like what happened the last year of 2017 because bitcoin might be stable in the $20K+ price due to mass adoption. So it might continue its bull trend until the Q1 of 2021.
2065  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Company are holding more than 10000 Bitcoin on: December 23, 2020, 04:06:16 PM
This proves that bitcoin mass adoption is just getting started, that it might be the reason why bitcoin's price is currently stable at more than $20,000. But many people are still afraid of holding and buying bitcoin because anytime bitcoin's price can suddenly make a huge downfall, just like what happened the last year of 2017; that is why many investors who recently buy bitcoin that time lost a considerable amount of profit.
2066  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best wallet for cryptocurrency, hardware or software and why? on: December 23, 2020, 02:20:14 PM
Cost of a hardware wallet is not too huge, because its actually under 100 dollars for now maybe in future it will get cheaper due to mass production. If you still looking for a software wallet which is open source then lot of choice available as well.

If you are having lot of altcoins then consider buying a hardware wallet which also can be connected with meta mask for easy access to your funds.
When I entered crypto space I can't even buy 50$ worth of anything, brother 50-100$ isn't a small amount of money for many people, if hardware wallet is cheap everyone would prefer to use them but today software wallets have millions of users, I was able to afford a ledger wallet after 5years of crypto hustling and that's because I have earned good amount of money from trading and other ways
Same here. Many people that I knew who are also into cryptocurrency is suggesting me to buy a hardware wallet to store all of my cryptocurrencies, but the problem is I couldn't afford a single hardware wallet at that time because I am still new in cryptocurrency; that is why I only keep all of my cryptocurrencies in an online wallet. But when I started earning $50+ a week in crypto trading, I started to buy my own hardware wallet because many people say it is much safer than online or mobile wallets.
2067  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful From Telegram Fraud on: December 23, 2020, 01:45:43 PM
I don't seriously understand why people in Telegram are still keeping to conceive or trick people who already have experience in the crypto space by inviting them to their Telegram Channel and sending them a DM because I still experience this kind of things in Telegram. But as they all say, as long as bo one is a con-man if no one is a fool, that is why beginners or newbies should never let scammers fool them because of their greediness and ignorance.
2068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will DeFi's Future look like? on: December 22, 2020, 07:40:46 AM
Defi future will looks like ICO feature. There will be something new and HYPE that will be more popular after defi
I also think that DeFi projects would end up like ICO projects. Investors nowadays would only invest their money in popular and hype projects because it is the only thing that would help them gain a considerable amount of profits, instead of investing their money in a project that is not promising, so when something comes up that is more promising than DeFi, they would definitely end up the same as ICO projects.
2069  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touch 22000$. 🤑 what's Next? on: December 22, 2020, 07:14:38 AM
Bitcoin is now over 21k+ now we can ATH and its touch 22k+ What you think about btc next move?
I see even bitcoin today is at $23K more. Even this price had been reached earlier yesterday, after he moved down to $22K.
It’s  likely  that  bitcoin will  continue to price steadily to $24K.  But what we  don’t want  is bitcoin  moving  down  that fast.
That’s probably now what   worries all of us.  I hope we experience  nothing like 2017 right now.  Maybe now we’re smarter
than we were yesterday.
I think it is one reason why many of us are preventing ourselves from buying bitcoin because bitcoin's price is stable at $22,000+. After all, we don't want to experience the same thing that happened in the year 2017 that bitcoin's price started to fall rapidly; that is why a lot of people who recently buy bitcoin that time lost a considerable amount of profit. But I positively think that it won't happen again because many crypto users are steadily holding their bitcoin to continue the bullish season.
2070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: December 22, 2020, 06:28:19 AM
Every skill needs to be sharpened until it reaches a certain level that it will be needed and applied to earn money in return. As a cryptocurrency trader or investor, that's the best thing to do. It's easier to earn with your knowledge than waiting for people to determine what you earn, when you earn and how you earn it.
Indeed. We need to enhance our ability in investing that we don't have to stick to one strategy, so we should have a different strategy that is perfect for our objectives and circumstances in life. Investing is not easy as it looks, so we should also be level up our knowledge by doing our own research for it will be easier for us to gain money or profit with our investments.
2071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: December 22, 2020, 05:57:15 AM
banned bitcoin ?? who can ban bitcoin, and why is that being done? right now bitcoin has no offices, no workers, no directors. because bitcoin is not a product of a company, so it is not the authority of the state or anyone to ban bitcoin. Bitcoin is not easily banned like banned porn sites
Bitcoin is decentralized that it has no central authority. Not even the government can control it. But they can restrict and banned the usage of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their country like what other countries did like Algeria, Bolivia, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, and Vietnam. However, crypto users can still buy and hold cryptocurrencies in these countries in different ways, as long as they won't get caught by the authorities.
2072  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin for “Fake Rich”? on: December 22, 2020, 05:21:46 AM
I do not get these type of people, I had a "customer" like this once upon a time, he talked about how he had "5 million ripple" and how he was so rich that he could buy the whole operation instead of just buying the product, he was "that" rich. All I was doing was trying to sell him the product, not the operation so this didn't impressed me, and I said he could have 1 billion dollars or 100 dollars and I would still be asking for just 100 dollars.

This pissed him off even more, and he said I shouldn't treat people who can barely afford 100 dollars or people who could buy 1 thousand of them and not even be worried about it. So this type of people, who are either fake rich or even some real rich people, wants us to treat them as very rich people and try to be like moon to them never leaving their sight and always begging their attention and always kissing their ass. That is the purpose apparently.
Well. Many people in this world couldn't stay humble and always flex their profits to everybody out of nowhere. So I guess we shouldn't be praising this kind of people and always begging their attention because they have nothing good to do with us. Crypto is not made for people like this; investing in cryptocurrency can help us become independent and reach our goals in life, not to beome a materialistic person.
2073  Economy / Speculation / Re: We should stop using the term "All Time High" on: December 20, 2020, 07:11:59 PM
I understand what OP meant to say that many people, even me who are into the crypto and blockchain space, have been using the word "All-Time High" as the wrong idea or impression. But many crypto users are accustomed to the word  "All-Time High (ATH)" because it is more suited to its meaning rather than using the word "High to date (HTD)," and I don't think there is anything wrong with it when we use the word ATH; the important thing is crypto users stills understand the real meaning of this term.
2074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs more women. on: December 20, 2020, 05:55:34 PM
Well. I understand that bitcoin has only a few women users rather than men because I assume that women are not risk-taker or are not confident enough to invest their money in cryptocurrency and other sources of investment. But, bitcoin and crypto usage aren't about gender because everybody can freely use bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and bitcoin is not only about the investment that its real purpose is to be an alternative payment for fiat currency as a digital currency, so not only can women use bitcoin, that more people will be using and buying bitcoin worldwide shortly when every government in other countries will start to accept bitcoin.
2075  Economy / Economics / Re: How will financial crisis affect crypto? on: December 20, 2020, 01:55:55 PM
It looks like the downtrend on the financial system is inevitable. How do you think this will affect crypto? People used to refer to gold in the past, will they move to crypto this time instead?
I kinda think, that the upcoming crisis actually gives crypto a chance.
Indeed. The financial crisis doesn't even impact the crypto market, especially during the pandemic or the corona crisis that only the banking system and stocks have suffered. This year 2020 proves that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies don't get affected by the economy that it can truly save our financial system because its market only shows stability and growth.
2076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about altcoin long-term performance? on: December 20, 2020, 12:54:52 PM
The success of a new project is all in the hands of the team, how hardworking and determined the team are is what will create success for the project, most new projects now are not reliable, very few have dedicated teams, to find out which altcoins is good for long term holding first make sure the team behind the project are real blockchain experts
I think most team members who are starting a new project in the world of crypto and blockchain are hardworking and dedicated because they won't be building a project if they don't have this kind of characteristic. The only problem with these team members is that they do not come up with a unique project and a promising development or progress to attract more investors; that is why they fail.
2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: December 20, 2020, 12:20:46 PM
I assume having an insurance service for gamblers is not necessary because you shouldn't be gambling if you wanted to retain your losses. It would also be unfair for casino or crypto casino owners to offer such a service for gamblers to recover their heavy losses, especially if they are already offering daily bonuses for their players because many it would be fine for every gambler to spend their money in gambling if they can gain back all of their losses from the insurance.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 18, 2020, 06:31:58 PM
What do you follow when you are betting on sports: is it the odds or your knowledge and experience? Or maybe you're one of those people who bet on the favorite team or perhaps follows a gut? Do odds even matter to you? If yes, how important are they for your final decision?

You should at least partly rely on odds, you simply can not know the full history of matches between all different teams and other factors that could affect the match result, and in my experience following odds could work out perfectly if you just combine it with your own knowledge of the teams that you bet on/bet against.

But if you rely too much on the odds and just start betting randomly by looking at the odds without having any clue about what you're betting on and the team themselves then that's not a very good strategy and it's going to fail you down the road sooner or later.
Indeed. Relying on odds is a big factor that would be unlikely for you to waste a considerable amount of money on sports betting. But you should also do a little research or check the game history of each team because relying too much on odds is not always favorable; that is why you should also know the capabilities between the two teams for you to have a clue where to bet.
2079  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pagpasok ng Tao Sa Crypto on: December 18, 2020, 05:48:05 PM

2080  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will be the next target of bitcoin in initially of 2021 ? on: December 18, 2020, 05:25:27 PM
There are many people saying the bitcoin bull run Will not stop and it will break 30k in 2021 what is your opinion?
From my perspective, it would be unlikely to happen, for the bitcoin bull run will not stop because bitcoin's price is very unpredictable due to its volatility that no one can exactly say when will it go up or down. Also, bitcoin hitting the $30K price next year of 2021 could be possible if the bull run would continue, but as I said before, it is tough to conclude that it will not stop, so let's just hope that we can see bitcoin's continuous growth.
