2101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 21, 2022, 02:28:58 PM
Yup, I think it doesn't mean a thing, it happen years ago so obviously there's a lot going after that fateful day. Murata become a champion, GGG remain on top of the 160 lbs division.

What's important is the fight at hand right now, GGG can't base any on those sparring, but the experience might be there and Murata will proved that he has better himself after that.

Yeah, that sparring session is history now on the two of them but the experience could help them on how to prepare for this upcoming fight as they now have a glimpse of each one of them on how they move because even though they have videos on their respective fight, an actual sparring/fight is different.

One thing I don't like with the proposed GGG vs Canelo trilogy is that they are overlooking things. Canelo and GGG both have dangerous fights ahead and either one of them could lose and might derail/cancel the trilogy which for me is a likely possibility.

That's right! Spar is really different from just watching your opponent in his recent fights and that particular short sparring could help the both of them about this upcoming fight, each one of them already have the idea on how to counter its punches because they already have a history first-hand and not by just watching some videos.

Is GGG involved in that deal? From what I have understand so far about that specific deal is that only Canelo is needed and obligated to win his upcoming fight, GGG on the other hand haven't had that contract written that he also should win against Murata for him to participate the said trilogy. Correct me if I'm wrong.
2102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 21, 2022, 10:29:46 AM
I am not sure if this fight will happen. Although boxing fans are looking ahead for this fight but Bivol is Russian. And there are many chances that like many other sports this match will be cancelled as well. But let's hope for the best. In today's time safety of everyone is important than entertainment.

This fight will go on as plan because of the amount of money involved here. The only thing that some of the people have concern about is the sanctioning of this fight because of Bivol being a Russian. Some don't want this to be a title fight, some want to cancel but the promoters is keen on proceeding whether there is a belt or none as long as Canelo can fulfill what is written on the contract.

More or less, the promoters have a roughly 7 weeks to somehow arrange the fight to its final setting either if it's sanctioned or not, and if there will be a belt at stake because that is one of the main reasons too why Canelo have moved again in this division where Bivol is the champion. Either way as of now, the fight will happen on its scheduled date but the details is not yet fixed if this fight will be sanctioned or not.
2103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 21, 2022, 09:40:35 AM

But like I said, there's a requirement. First, Casimero needs to win and Inoue should also do the same for the possible rematch against Nonito Donaire. It's already in the news that Donaire and Inoue will likely have a rematch this year although no official date has yet been released.

If Donaire will able to upset Inoue, then again, a rematch first is likely to happen and Casimero's name won't be included in the story.

But before thinking that, Casimer needs to be healthy first. He is the reason why the fight against Paul Butler was delayed. He should keep himself healthy and silent his mouth for the meantime.

He needs to stay healthy and make this fight to happen first. Accomplishing this mandatory fight against Butler is a must.

We can discuss his next journey after this fight, and like you mentioned, a possible rematch against Donaire and Inoue will take place

first before they will talk about Casimero, He's not the priority. Promoters are more on the money side and bringing Inoue and Donaire

inside the ring may attract more viewers and gamblers around.

Right, Casimero shouldn't worry about his next opponent yet because he still have a present opponent to overcome and that is Butler. Let's also hope that he will remain healthy throughout the time until that day comes and until he will have that chance to fight against Inoue, for the time being he should really watch his diet so that his viral gastritis won't become an obstacle in his career.

The first game of the semis between Bolts and Magnolia will be on Wednesday, IMO this is a good match-up so if anyone is interested in betting peer to peer I will be glad to accommodate, just reply to this post.

I'm for the Magnolia Hotshots. If you want to bet for the Bolts to win this series, please reply to this post.
What’s the odds for this? I’m also rooting for Magnolia but I can bet with Bolts since the games are more unpredictable now and both teams are really did well in the last eliminations. Bolts are more eager to win most probably while Magnolia still want to remain on top and go to the finals, such a head to head match up.

Probably there's a handicap, like Meralco is +1 in the series or you'll win 600 pesos for 1000 bet if you go for Magnolia. hehe.
That's what I'm thinking because I think that no one would put their money on Meralco at this time for 1:1 betting.

How about Ginebra vs NLEX, anyone also interested in that series?
2105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 20, 2022, 09:12:54 PM
After winning their game today, the Minnesota Timberwolves still holding their chance to get out from the play-in tournament curse and get to the number 6 or number 5 if Mavericks and Nuggets continue losing their games in the coming days. We are less than a month before the play-in start and after that, it will be the playoffs tournament where the games are super intense. On that day, we will see them play like there is no tomorrow, and if a struggling team won't fix the way they play before that, they're doomed to be eliminated in the first round of the tournament.
All of the sudden the Minnesota Timberwolves started to be more competitive by winning games.
As we can see in the standing - https://www.espn.com/nba/standings.. they are very close with the Denver, Dallas, and Utah, and I'm very impressed because they only lose 1 game in their last 10 games.
I'm impressed, that's because Towns get back in the lineup and they start winning again. They had a pretty bad start but people have already forgotten that because they keep winning again. That 9-1 in the last 10 games is something they cannot achieve in the past, they really improve this season, probably because some teams are struggling, like the Lakers and Clippers.
The is not dependent to the struggling team, they really improve this season, that's it, "no buts".
I have a feeling that they will make it to the playoffs and the Lakers might not qualify, that is only based on the consistency they are showing recently, which obviously we are seeing how inconsistent the Lakers are.

Now, I'm already a businessman and focus on trading, with what I'm consistently doing, I was able to achieve financial success that I never even imagine when I was still an employee. So, I am very proud to say that I owe my success from this forum, me not knowing bitcointalk, I will still be living in my low paycheck and wrapped with never-ending debts.

Just as I thought it was all a trap. My chills are correct but I didn't listen to it.  Grin
Questions suddenly pop out how our bookies knew who is in and out as early as possible. I don't see anything in social media and even in basketball analysts' pages about Giannis resting and other stuff.
Losing streak. This is bad. Hopefully, most of us can get back on track in the next game. This will be the time they will rest their stars unpredictably so gotta be careful.

For sure you can get back on track mate.

As for the sports bookies knowing ahead of time who will be in or out as early, I also have the feeling that they've known it before hand specially bookies in Las Vegas. And for sure crypto bookies rely on them for odds making. Maybe it's time to best bet on live and see how is going to play or not.

Sometimes you have to be clever, betting in game time is very effective to ensure that you know all the players that will play and who are out in the game especially the superstars because they have a big impact on the outcome of the game. On the other hand, if the opposing team you are betting would also announce that their star player will not play, then that would give you the advantage.

No doubt that if the fight will happen between Inoue and Casimero, it would be in the 4th Quarter of this year.

But before that, Casimero should win first against Paul Butler. The result of Inoue vs Donaire also might change Casimero's next match if ever he won because the scenario will be, if Donaire will able to upset Inoue, there will be a sure rematch and that will be prioritized first compare facing Casimero.

Casimero has to wait until next year if Donaire will win. If not, then we can now expect that he will face Inoue later this year.

Well to be honest a fight scheduled on 4th quarter is quite an anticipating fight that of course the promoter should place a boxer or fighter that really has a famous name to you know be the highlight of the years end fight. And I believe scheduling Casimero vs. Inoue at that fight schedule will be a great schedule choice because boxing fans are really exciting for the face off of these two fighters. I can't wait to see these two inside the ring and let's witness who is the great fighter among them.
no doubt that Casimero had already gained His name and Popularity in his division , and of course Inoue as Japan's Monster fighter has His own name much popular that Casimero.

so if they will be in the top list then i believe that Boxing fan like me will put budget and time for this to be watched and of course to Bet for.

but first He must defeat Butler and Inoue should win over Donaire .

Casimero beating Butler is easier than Inoue beating Donaire again, that's my prediction. However, if we want to see Inoue vs Casimero, Donaire has to lose the fight and retire, and then that will open up an opportunity for these two boxers (Inoue vs Casimero) to have a chance to be an undisputed champion.

I'm sure Inoue will not say no to that opportunity.
2110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in METAVERSE on: March 19, 2022, 09:07:14 PM
Metaverse can never be good for decentralization, everything about it will be regulated in a way people's data can be easily accessible to the government. If possible there would be gambling sites on Metaverse, all of them will have to comply to the rules of mandating their customers to verify before making use of their metaverse gambling service.

Prior to this metaverse stuff, we can now feel that centralization is now hitting up crypto-gambling sites today. There are now sites that involve KYC and big winnings are subject to identity verification before a user can claim which should not be a requirement since that's what crypto-gambling is all about anonymity.

Since crypto-gambling sites have no choice but to comply with it, in the first place, to make their business legit, they should follow the law, we also don't have a choice but to follow.

Regardless of there's a Metaverse touch on our gambling experience, that verification will still be the same.

I'm not sure.

I feel like on decentralized metaverses there is going to be a lot more operators willing to open up unregulated casinos, often because they can no longer be traced back to an actual name registering a license/domain.

That could be a benefit for people - that plus the trustlessness of having a non-custodial model of on-chain gaming. It's honestly not a bad idea if you think about it.

You can talking about unregulated casinos.... How can that be possible if the government wants to regulate everything? Let's be real, even crypto which is decentralized by nature is not even exempted, the government would always want to have a slice of the pie, and without regulation where would they put their control?
2111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty question on: March 19, 2022, 08:38:15 PM
How profitable is Bounty this days?

Depending on the success of the project you are supporting, in general, it's not as profitable as in the past but you can always try it your own, besides, when you are in bounty, you don't invest money so you don't lose any, all you need is patience and invest your time.

They say, invest your time wisely, so choose the right bounty that you think could pay you in the end, and have a mind like an investor in evaluating the project as your reward mostly depends on the success of the project.
2112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its not official btc bull run now on: March 19, 2022, 08:20:05 PM
Even the prices going up now its not official btc bull run.
So many newbies think its official but its not official bull run as old members knows this month is not official bull run

A little bounce back of price is not really called a bull run. You can get excited once you see a double digit increase  (percentage) on assets, particularly bitcoin, but it's not happening yet because we are still in a bear market or in a correction phase.

Newbies overreact, not only when the price pump but only when the price dump, that's why they get easily panicked.
2113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 19, 2022, 11:09:59 AM
It’s like a sigh of relief every time the Lakers get a win these days. They pulled it off tonight in overtime against the Toronto Raptors. It took a triple double by Russell Westbrook and a 36 point near triple double performance from LeBron James to pull it off. I guess a win is a win but it seems like they have to work pretty hard to barely squeak out a W against teams they should easily beat. Sad to see the old guys continue to struggle. They need AD back in a hurry if they want to make it into the postseason.
I agree. Good results whenever those MVPs worked together as a team and their stats prove it.
They don't even need AD for this to happen but of course, it will be a big plus. Just play like how they used to play and not be careless with the ball and play defense.
I see Coach Vogel is back to his rotation with Russ and Lebron being the center of it. That's nice. Dwight was given more minutes and there's Wenyen Gabriel 7/8 FG 3/3 3pts.
I know its to match the big men of the Raptors but he should do this more often.

And this silent the critiques of Westbrook for at least some time with this kind of performance from him. Positive news for AD though, there seems to be a lot of development so hopefully they can make it to the playoffs and maybe he can play. Vogel should stop experimenting with smaller player, he should put Dwight their more often to play as the man in the middle.

Good thing Westbrook contributed big in this win, however, I'm still a bit worried if they'll be in the playoffs because the number of players that produces for the team is very small. In this game, only Lebron James and Westbrook were consistent, and sometimes Westbrook does not play the way he should be playing.

Yes, they really need to have AD back, and has to be back healthy and won't be injured in the playoffs again.
2114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 19, 2022, 10:44:40 AM
Right, Casimero's mouth can be back by his fighting skills and that's what makes him different from others who only know how to talk and that's also why we cannot blame the way he talk because his actions also speaks for himself and he has every right to boast about it.
It's already on his character and that's why if he talks bad and he really means, he really means what he's saying and he has to prove that he's not all talk and cheap.

That's him and we should not hate him because it's his personal style. What's important is he brings honor to our country, becoming a champion is not easy but Casimero did all the hard work in order to achieve his goal. We want to see him fight a champion too, but that would not happen if the promoter will just solely focus on the money and not risk their fighter's record.
2115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: FURY vs WHYTE - CONFIRMED on: March 16, 2022, 04:32:29 PM
Votes in Poll: 30
Fury win: 27
Whyte win: 3
Draw: 0

I am disappointed just 30 votes have been cast in the poll so far but Fury is still strong favourite to win. Hopefully the votes cast will increase to around 40, then 50 and more as we get nearer to the actual fight date. For me, I think Fury will dominate and win this fight fairly easily, no disrespect to Whyte but Fury is way too good a fighter, he is far too technically superior. Whyte will give it everything he has but will fall way short and will be defeated with relative ease.

Don't fret, there's still a few weeks left before the fight schedule. IMO, some other users haven't realized about the poll yet or maybe they ain't interested on this fight because it's crystal clear that Fury will when against Whyte, the latter's chance to upset Fury is so slim and that makes the fight boring or uninteresting. I wouldn't be so surprise if Fury will knock Whyte out in like 6th or 8th round.
2116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 16, 2022, 03:37:10 PM
I will follow you on that bet,
Grizzlies -7.5 vs. Pacers
Suns -4.5 vs. Pelicans
Nets -9 vs. Magic - just like you said, they definitely need to win on this again if they want to get a sure spot and I don't either doubt that they will lose on this game.
Congratulations. That's a perfect score.  Grin
I got my share of the perfect bet too.

I think it's just the Heat who didn't cover the spread. If I remember it correctly, the line was -10.5 also against the Pistons or maybe higher for a 2x profit.
Luckily, I avoided that game, and the other three games ended up in a blowout game that covers even the highest spread.
Cheers everyone!!!

Thank you, I'm glad that I managed to win this time around. Out of those 3 bets I made, there's one bet that I'm not so certain that it will go through and that's the Grizzlies but it turns out that there's no problem even if Ja Morant wasn't available.

Let's bet again guys, there's a lot of interesting games tomorrow. I'll do some live betting if I can catch up on the Phoenix game and Lakers game. Here's mine for now:
Hawks +2 vs Hornet
Sixers -3 vs Cavaliers
Celtics vs Warriors -3.5
2117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 16, 2022, 01:44:30 PM
Anyone thinks that the current war might affect Bivol's performance? I mean he could be bother by the noise behind this one that his training and his mentality on the fight is not 100% because of the current situation in his country. There could be some friends or family members that is close to Bivol that is directly affected by the war and it might stuck into his mind. What do you guys think? Not making excuses if he lost but we have to look at this angle as well.

Maybe a little bit, I mean everyone would be surely affected knowing that your country where your family is also living is having a war with its neighboring country and then somehow you have a big event that you need to attend. I'm not a 100% sure that he's mentality towards the fight is not affected, you know his family is there trapped and yes directly affected too.
2118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 16, 2022, 08:24:53 AM
Kyrie dropping 60 setting his new all time high scoring game. Dude right back in peak form after taking all that time off.

What a good game for Kyrie today and it was another career-high for him breaking his old record and a franchise record as well. This kind of Irving in the playoffs will be scary and unstoppable, you also add Durant to the list with his lethal shooting skills. I hope they let Ben Simmons play now for them to get used to playing with them in the playoffs or it isn't a good idea to mix him up with because right now there are hot winning their 4th straight games.

And it just shows that the Nets is really banking on their big stars to win in game, we've seen those two not playing and it didn't look good for team.

Hopefully they can remain healthy and make the playoffs, otherwise this kind of performance will be nothing. I think they are slowly integrating Ben into their system, maybe he just needed more time before. They are winning though so no need to rush him.

The roster of Nets this season is really interesting, they have a lot of twist in just one season. They began with a Big 3 with Harden, Irving and Durant, they became a tough team in the East but as time passed and KD suffered an injury then Irving is playing consistently they began to fell into pieces which brings them in the 9th spot but recently when KD returns and Harden leaps towards the Philly, they again became a threat in the East playing and winning consecutively with highlights every game until now.

Yes, Ben Simmons is the only remaining mystery because Drummond and Seth seems to fit in the system. I hope they will be healthy until the end of this entire season.
2119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 16, 2022, 07:50:52 AM

You're exactly right about that, we can only speculate what is likely to happen this May but we can't ever conclude the exact thing unless these two are finish fighting in the ring. The one who prepared the most only increases his chances to win, it doesn't mean that it is already sure because if that's the measurement there's no need to fight.

Hahaha Grin more on the actual scene when these two champs meet inside the ring, all the hard work and preparations will be decided when each of them start throwing punches, the one who's eager to win will shine and if a lucky KO punch landed, it will be a sure win for him. Let's wait and see how both gentlemen will end this fight up.

Spence and Ugas are both known for this division. They've got the belt to stake, and it's a winner takes all fight.

Aside from the belts, there's also huge money behind and for sure that influence the most for both fighters in eagerly try to bring their best
inside the ring.

Fame and glory of course which is just typical or normal thing that they are tending to acquire on winning up their fights. The stronger guy would win but we couldnt really
just ignore the possibilities of some another upset made by Ugas but just like been said, they would be trying out their best inside the canvass.
Based up on the schedule, this fight would be happening tomorrow?
No, it would be still having 1 month to go before this fight happens and im sure that you had just overlook on tomorrows date and month.  Cheesy
It would be on April 16 https://www.maxboxing.com/news/news/its-on-errol-spence-jr-vs-yordenis-ugas-april-16
So better mark that calendar of yours.

He might have mistaken this month as April and because it's 16th of the month. Relax mate, we all are excited about this fight as well so better lock on your bets if you haven't bet yet. Surely this year of 2022 have a lots of interesting fights and almost of all the fights have big names on it just like this one.
For me, I'm a straight Spence.
2120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 16, 2022, 06:39:49 AM

Yes, we are talking about his future fight, but Casimero has one in his hand right now and it is not going to be a walk in the park fight. Butler will go and show his talent in front of his hometown and Casimero will have to dig deeper and try to knock out Butler so that there will be no doubt.

For now, stop pre-occupying his mind with Inoue, because it will not help him that much in this fight.

We are certainly looking forward to a future fight of Casimero especially if he will be given a chance to have a face-off against Inoue because we all knew that this is one of the great fights that we can ever see. But for now, he needs to keep his focus on his upcoming battle against Butler and he must aim to win this fight either via Unanimous Decision or much better if he wins against butler via Knock Out. Though Casimero have some personal issues or problems but this time his career should be his top priority.

That's the chance he really needs, and if he beats Inoue, for sure he will get the respect that he deserves.

If he sticks with his trash-talking technique, I think there's no problem with that because he proves that he can do the talking inside and outside the ring.
Asian champions rule in the bantamweight division, it's time to have an undisputed champion to know who really is the best.
I think that's what Casimero wanted to have, some respect because after all he is also a champion and have been tearing up this division for the last couple of years. But he can't have that respect if he goes and continue to trash talk Donaire (before) and Inoue. He should not be opening his mouth, just go out and fight and then knock out every one of his opponent and for sure he will get the respect amongst the boxing community.

We already know that Casimero is so talkative at times and throws some trashtalks that at some points it becomes nonsense anymore. But yes, I'm with you on that! Casimero should learn and adjust when is the perfect time to talk or talk back to his opponent, I know its hard in his part because he's so used to it but he should at least learn when to be silent sometimes.

Yes, you're exactly right about that. Now that Casimero's name is somehow carved in the industry, then that means that he's been already watched by a lot of people who's fond in boxing. So he should be more mature and careful on what he's saying because he's now a champion in his division. He needs to be more appropriate towards other boxers especially towards Donaire, a co-Filipino boxer.

Not somehow mate, his name is already carved as he is more quite famous now than the past few years that he is been in the industry. I hope so too that he will act more mature now and act more like a champion who only barks when needed and not everything needs some reaction. Well, I guess if that'll happen then a lot of his fans will be more amazed by his changes and continues follow him more.
