since im new to this. how do i know when to fill outform to get my coins? should i wait 50 posts or 30 days ?
i only enrolled
You submit using the link in the OP on the 17th, in 3 days.  If you don't have 50 quality posts, see below, then don't submit.  The posts roll over to the next month if the campaign is still using the same format.

An alternative idea that I've seen a sig campaign try is to basically "kick" certain people and allow the rest to continue posting. In other words you would just be more discerning about who you let continue the campaign. I guess this sounds like what you're proposing but under my idea you would allow MOST sig campaign members to continue as opposed to your idea where I feel like you'll only select a very small number to continue on.

Edit:  another thought is that I know I for one DO deduct non-constructive posts. I mean isn't it possible for you just to kick people who try to scam the system?  Like if someone posts that they did 100 quality posts and you check and see it's only 90, just kick them and don't let them back in. And eventually you'll see who's honest and they can continue on.

How does one judge quality posts?

I would imagine IIT questions are not but answers are.  No need to spread the word here with posts but helping the program run properly is a good thing.

Hey is anyone else using bitcoinwisdom to check out the charts for the price data? I can't get information from before July from them looking at the poloniex chart .. but the coin has information on poloniex dating all the way back to May 19, when it was listed. I'm just wondering if I'm using the site wrong, or if this information's missing from the site?

It's not you it's bitcoinwisdom.  They are using the data from when they started tracking XMR and didn't put in historical data.  I believe that's the way they do it with all alts.

Welcome to the new monero mining pool, the first pool with IP filtration http://moneropool-ip.com

Our pool have an unique IP filtration system for best DDoS protection!
Just enter static IP address of your mining PC and press "Add my IP" to start mining.

DDoS network attacks protection is based on the usage of a series of filters that are connected to the Internet channel with a sufficiently large bandwidth.
These filters grant access only for IP in exceptions list.
In order to proceed minig on our pool you have to know what type of Ip-address do you have - static or dynamic.
If it's static then you just enter IP address of your mining PC and press "Add my IP" to start mining.
If it's not - then you must get the service through your ISP.
At the end you must configure your mining app (see Getting Started) to our pool.
Forum

Due to opening our pool we announce an action:
everybody who has connected to pool with hashrate 5kh - bonus 1xmr
with hashrate 10kh - bonus 2xmr
with hashrate 15kh - bonus 3xmr
and so on.
If you provide minig with that hashrate about 24 hours i'll transfer you promised fee. Just write me a wallet number!

There is a Monero mining thread for these posts.

5-15kh, really?  I would be solo mining.   What is a good CPU like 250 H/s?

Rite Aid just moved into my area and I see they do western union.  It does appear cvs and rite aid are getting more into money transfer services so maybe they'll take on bitcoin next.

They have had western union and/or moneygram for a long time now.

So CVS is just an alternative to Gyft? I've never heard of it before. What selection do they have and what countries do they operate in?

CVS and rite aide are large pharmacy chains in the US.  They carry most prepaid and gift cards but not gyft.

Since the update to your HTTPS I experience the following.

When I go to my wallet and after I select "Players Club" a dialog box appears which says "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely? This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection which could compromise the security of the entire webpage."

If I select "Yes", that is I want only secure content, I cannot view the page and get a message that the navigation was cancelled.  If I select "No" the Players Club page will be displayed.

I have no idea whether or not this is a security issue but even if it's not it will be off putting to some.

I am using Windows 8.1.

same thing happens to me

We have just added ssl to the entire network at https://www.betcoin.ag, https://poker.betcoin.ag, https://casino.betcoin.ag and https://sports.betcoin.ag

There is an image that is causing a brief error that does not effect anything and it will be fixed by Wednesday.  We are revamping our entire rewards system as well with more levels, bigger bonuses and some great promotions.

A note on the ssl, as we continue to build out our overall gaming destination you will notice that there is full ssl integration on the following domains.  We will continue to work very hard to maintain the highest level of security at Betcoin.

Full SSL integration at:

https://www.betcoin.ag
https://poker.betcoin.ag

http://www.betcoinpoker.com will forward to https://poker.betcoin.ag

Thank you for your support.

Is this full SSL integration supposed to fix the issue I mentioned?  It still exists.

Non US and where it's needed now, Argentina and by who it's needed, the under banked.

2152  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I've bought cigarettes twice from CVS with Bitcoin on: August 14, 2014, 05:30:37 AM

It's as simple as buying a $10 cvs giftcard through Gyft.com
and letting the person at the counter scan your phone.

Be sure to tell them it's a cvs giftcard NOT a coupon  Wink

You can print out the giftcard or it shows up instantly in the iphone app.

That's a pretty good idea.  Would be cool if you could just buy Amex gift Cards or Visa Gift cards, since they would be basically as good as cash.

I think I read somewhere on this forum of a person selling cartons of ciggies for BTC

Amex Serve cards are free for a limited time at CVS. It might be a good idea to load up a few and sell them.  If you happen to live in VT or TX there's no monthly fee either.

No monthly fee for Serve in NY either but a pack of cigarettes costs more than $10.

I believe it's in the following video which is also on his website.  Bitcoin Cryptocurrency Crash Course
This crash course is 1:12 long Tongue and I have no idea at what point he mentions it.  I'm only 99% certain this is the correct video.  This talk is from last summer in silicon valley.  Being it was from last year some things are a bit outdated like regulatory uncertainty which also led him to say he wouldn't recommend it as an investment.  Meanwhile he says that it was almost all his investment.  This was before the congressional meetings last year and the subsequent bubble.  I gave this video to a certified financial planner as part of an intro I made for him about btc.

It's not like I need to defend rpietila because he does a fine job for himself.

Really? Where is he then? He's been strangely absent during this entire time he could have been defending himself.

I do find it strange however that your criticisms are diametrically opposed to reality.

What is your basis for making this statement? You think you can just lob this out there and I will accept it and let it stand as a rational explanation on its own accord?

You mean like you lobbed it out without rational explanation?  There is a thread of his in Off Topic.  You should check it out.

Also note that my interest in Monero started before rpietilla's obvious activity and stems from other sources.  I do appreciate his support and information but I don't take that info as "word" but instead as a piece of the puzzle.

Its a piece of a different puzzle, it won't fit in your puzzle because its not the right size. Trying to jam it in there will only result in an incomplete puzzle.

That's not how the brain works, it works holographically.

I play poker and I have learned things from bad players as not everything they do is bad.  I can not play like the best poker players and if I try I lose.  Instead I need to incorporate their strategies into my perspective.
2156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep your bitcoins secure if you suddenly disappear (jail or prison) on: August 14, 2014, 01:24:10 AM
its interesting that even though bitcoin is a new paradigm in terms of currency, most replies offer up old world solutions. Nothing wrong with that but somewhere out there is an elegant solution that matches the innovation of bitcoin. and whoever comes up with it will be sitting pretty.

As Andreas A has said it's virtually impossible to secure digital data and we only have a few decades trying to do that.  We are however very good at physical security as we have centuries of experience with it.

I would never rely on anything digital to back up my btc.

Also please note that it has been said that one problem of mine is that I pass for white.

2. I checked your post history and would like to ask why you so bitter against many people?

Because many people such as yourself get your rocks off by making the world a shittier place for a living.

You are a Monero shill through and through. It is your job to get people to waste their money on this useless bullshit coin. And you can fool most of the people but you're not fooling me because I have an actual understanding and working knowledge of the terms you just throw around to impress others.

And that's how I can tell you are 100% bullshit.

Now have a nice day.

I had applied for this campaign on 19th JULY https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291387.msg7920280#msg7920280  By correctly filling your form but I'm not on your 22nd JULY list! Please clarify!
If you're not on the list doesn't mean you're not enrolled.
I also enrolled before the 22th july and I'm not on the list but I still got my payment so you don't have to worry about that as long as you filled in everything correctly.
How did you get your payment if it isn't 17th yet?
Also @jump4ever did you submmit the second form blank? If not then you're NOT enrolled, if you did then you ARE!
Which second form are you referring to? I submitted this form http://bit.do/Primedice but have no idea about second form.

In that link you have access to two forms: one to register, and another to claim payment each month.

I'm not sure if this has changed in the meantime, but when most people here registered, after you clicked submit on the "register" form, the "request payment" form showed up automatically; it is this one he was referring to - you have to click submit in there as well, while leaving the form completely blank.

OK I'll ask again.  I did not leave the second form blank.  I put in what info I knew which was my name and link and then I submitted.  The second page was not mentioned in the signup process, I double checked the OP.  I guess I'm making much ado about nothing as I don't see how what I did could possibly be changed now but it would be nice to know.
