Buy 3 btc or repair my car?

Car repaired.

I just bought some BTC. Think I'll go over to a forum about VWs and tell them this relevant piece of information.

instead of buying 2 BTC today I am paying off a small debt.  if you could once more make up for my short fall by buying some BTC it would be much appreciated. Smiley

I've been away from my poloniex account for a while, but today I noticed that it says I must provide names and national locations in order to make deposits and withdrawals, why is this, and how do I opt out of that?

They made the changes a few weeks ago to comply with regulations as they are in the US.  They did so with very little advance notice which pissed off many people.  There are 3 levels of verification and the more info you give them the higher your daily withdrawal limits are.  You described level 1, the lowest level, providing your name and country.  There is no way of opting out AFAIK.

I have it on good authority that someone's team is pushing the bitcoin price this week. Wink

*wink* *wink*? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

these are winks, Wink Wink Wink

But I was speculating about whether we're talking about two Winks Wink Wink... You know... One could say twin Winks Wink Wink

I was following the thread that I assumed Elwar was, which was MorecoinFreeman saying that his team was about to push up btc's price.

Sorry guys, instead of buying 2 btc I chose to go to the theater and dinner with my gf.

now i locked half of my stash away from myself for 5 years using a nlocktime transaction. give up now bears, you can't do anything that will make me sell. yeehaa!

Very brave, you'll kick yourself if it goes to 10k a coin n then a major flaw is found and it goes to 0 without giving you a chance to sell at least some.

Half of what you said is right, but the other half of going to 0 is insanely difficult.

dreamspark was using basic calculus to put the action not having options into perspective.  Nothing to nitpick about.

1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Mining on: June 03, 2015, 08:28:34 PM
You can mine with a non AES but the HR is very low and the electricity costs will be greater than the value of the coin.

I have a 2 core pentium and use the original LucasJones miner.  I get 35 H/s using both cores, that is 100% cpu usage Tongue

Hi Guys,i have a question, if our main exchanger Pole be attacked by an Hacker, many coins would in a evil hand, so do you Guys think that would be the end of monero?

Yes, i think that would mean the end of monero
The Hacker would dump that shit in oblivion  Sad

That Is also one of my reasons that i had sold all of my xmr

As said on the main thread, the only place to sell any significant amount of coins would be on the exchange they stole from.

Only a small percentage of Polo's total is in their hot wallets.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: June 03, 2015, 10:34:27 AM
Polo currently does not give the amount of shorts and longs. when asked in the troll box a mod responded that more things will be rolled out in the future but as of now the margin system is still in beta.

so when or what data will be public is obviously unknown.

Edit: I currently have neither btc nor Monero on Polo but still check their site for info.

maybe the dickheads that own so many bitcoins and fuck over majority of traders need to be bled out?

I'm keeping my 1 BTC because I love bitcoin but you guys are the reason no one is touching this market anymore.

nobody knows I exist

I want a bitcoin miner in my hot tub.

Wherever heat is needed, bitcoin is there!

before bitcointalk down: around 232
bitcointalk down: 240+
bitcointalk back up: 238 and falling.

seems the trolls from here have some influence on prices

i tried it, worked well.
unfortunately they send with mixing 0, rest worked fine for me. sometimes the price they offer is not so good, sometimes its better than on the exchange.

I thought they changed their mixin after recent requests.

For those looking for an anonymous way of buying Monero after the changes at Polo, has anybody used Shapeshift?

I checked out their site and it seems as anonymous as it gets.  The buy limit was between 1 and 2 btc.  Although they charge no fee, the buy and sell prices were 1% from the Polo price the one time I checked.  To balance this out there is no slippage when transacting as there would be on an exchange.
