This thing is taking a fall into the abyss either tonight or in 4-5 days.  This is what happens when new money stops liking bitcoin as a speculative tool.

I disagree. I think we're going to stay around the 200-270 range until the end of the year. Maybe longer. There's so much in the works right now to help support the economy. It's going to be interesting seeing how things pan out in 2016+

The last quarter of last year "they" said that with all the VC investment in the btc infrastructure that 2015 was going to be the year of btc.

I'm not familiar with this.  Is FTP Iron Man a points system? a rakeback system? what is/was it?

Iron Man rewarded players for getting 50, 100, or 200 points each day for 15, 20, or 25 days in a month, obviously with higher rewards for higher levels of play. The rewards were both freerolls and points ("medals") which could be used to buy tournament tickets or cash bonuses, and they increased for each consecutive month you hit the level.

But with all they gave away with that promo it doesn't even come close to what SWC gives with no promos at all 1/2 the rake of FullTilt, that is 50% RB.

As the rake is so low there is not much more that SwC can give as promos.  It seems making something like FTP IM worthwhile would basically mean replacing RB and krillrolls.

Another difference is with thr IM structure you must play or lose rewards and with the krill structure you never lose your reward level.  I think I know which Micon would prefer.

I'm in a dilemma.  I asked a question in a thread and somebody was helpful.  Normally I would simply thank them but now am hesitant to do so and be accused of spam.

I am going to reply with the post "TY" and you can not count it.  It feels strange not to say TY.

Feel free to still post such a reply, just don't do it if you don't mean it!

Thanks Marco Grin, it was my first such post since being in the campaign for over a month.

Buy   - 33 (37.5%)
Hold   - 25 (28.4%)
Sell   - 30 (34.1%)

And hodl option?

Why not the option of "buy and hodl"?

You can't hodl unless you buy.

I am currently buying btc and trying to hodl as opposed to buying btc and <redacted>.
1407  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetVIP.com - BetVIPpoker.com - NEW LIVE SOCCER MATCH VIEWER! 100% Dep. Bonus! on: April 09, 2015, 01:52:31 PM
Is the deposit bonus automatically credited or is there something else one needs to do.

No the process is not automatic. To release the deposit bonus, you will need to earn cash game points first.

I understand the bonus clearing requirements.  Often there is a code you need to put in with your deposit to get the pending bonus before you clear it by playing.  So the question is, is getting the pending bonus automatic, or is a code needed?

Has the issue of needing to post blinds in any position when you are move to a new table in a tournament been fixed?

Good morning Bitcoinland. We finally got a little movement, I see.

$10 isn't much of a dip to buy on but I suppose it's better than no dip at all so I'm glad I was up really early today and had a chance to rush down and buy a few more coins while the price was down.

By the time I got home the skid had slowed and the price had actually risen a couple of bucks. Lucky timing I guess.

How long now before we're back up over $250 or do we finally break below $240 after a week of failed attempts?

In lieu of popcorn I'll just have to make do with Mocha-Java. Mmmm.

Haven't had much time of late as I'm on day 11 of 19 consecutive long work days Tongue  I had wanted to buy for a couple of days but waited for the inevitable downturn and as I wasn't expecting more than we got I bought right away on my first work break.

No coffee for me.  I can't stand the stuff although I can tell good coffee from bad mostly by smell and also by sight.  I get my caffeine from tea, no sugar no milk.

The thing is most of my btc seems to turn into ..........oh wait this is the btc thread Kiss  I am trying to keep more btc but it aint easy.

When will these work in the USA?

They do work in the USA! However they cannot be shipped to US residents at this point in time due to central back and AML regulations.

Do they have any sort of ETA?

Could be any day. I'll get back to you with an official response!

I had no idea US residents couldn't receive the card.  I was probably not getting one as the inactivity fee is quite high and most months I would not use it.  Now I have no choice to make.

When it comes to the expression "any day" I take this literally, from the beginning to the end of time.

@saddambitcoin,   All I can build is leggos so I have to wait for the devs.  I would love to run a full node again.  I can use the CL wallet with no issues.

Remember folks April 18 is the one year birthday of Monero.  Please consider donating to it's development.  As I have no skills to offer I have donated and will add to that on or before the 18th.

if you are interested i can help you to set one up (linux only though)

Thank you for the offer but I am on windows 8.1

A while ago somebody in the main thread tried to help me by trying to find a way to do it with windows but to no avail.  I don't remember who, it might have been GingerAle.

A flat rate of 0.03per day, cool.  I would consider giving up my avatar even though its the same one Satoshi used.

I like mine.

Looks like a giant sell off, perhaps this denotes that the peak has past.

For now...

I put a buy order in at 0.00302 just in case. But I'm not counting on it. That giant sell order doesn't seem to reflect general sentiment. I think the only thing most xmr holders are feeling at the moment is vindication, not opportunistic. I could be wrong though, what do you guys think, are you feeling like taking some profit?

General sentiment is definitely not wanting to sell.  I believe the sells we saw were inspired by the dumper (catalyst), as people thought XMR may have "peaked." I assume they are hoping to get back in cheaper. This may happen, but in my experience timing the XMR market is difficult at best.

Strong hands haven't sold and will not sell for at least another order of magnitude of price increase, if not two.

I have never had more Moneroj and haven't been tempted into taking some profit.

Can hodl fearless.

Hey, I didn't read all 50 pages.

My question is: there will be linux or browser client in soon?

TY.

^^ My peoplez!!

Why don't you answer the question from your peoplez Cheesy

I don't remember clearly but maybe you do.  Maybe 2 months?

I guess if you looked at Micon's post history you will find the answer of timing as well as in which order the supported OSs are being done.

Remember things don't move as quickly as desired or expected.

I bought more btc recently with the intention of hodling it as I was 100% Monero.  Half of this new btc has somehow become Monero.  It seems I have no control.  There is Alcoholics Anonymous,  is there Monero Anonymous?
