Should have probably started a new thread on this, but...

NATO sailors ‘behave like occupiers’, Latvian mayor complains
http://rt.com/news/158804-latvia-nato-occupiers-mayor/

Quote
Crewmembers of NATO warships deployed to the Latvian port city of Ventspils are behaving like occupying forces, who don’t consider local laws apply to them, the mayor of the city charged. This discredits the alliance in the eyes of Latvians, he added.

“NATO sailors in Ventspils were behaving like pigs, ignored Latvian laws and municipal rules,” Aivars Lembergs told LETA news agency. “Drunk, they urinated in public, right on shop windows, vomited, drank in public, which is not allowed. They picked flowers from flowerbeds and gave them to prostitutes.”

Lembergs, a vocal critic of Latvia’s cooperation with NATO, added that the foreign military personnel “behaved like occupiers, who do not recognize Latvia’s sovereignty.”

What were they expecting. This behaviour pattern is known from other places, like Japan, but there such image is heavily suppressed. At least Latvians are not pushing it under the rug.

You missed the most important part:

Quote
The unflattering description comes as the mayor was commenting on an incident in Ventspils, in which several NATO sailors clashed with locals at a night club last weekend. One of the sailors, a 21-year-old Dutch national, sustained serious injuries and had to be taken to hospital with several broken face bones and a concussion.

Brothers, sisters, bulls....rejoice for the dark ages for bitcoin are soon over!

Tonight i had a dream, that the prices were constantly being pumped. We are talking well beyond one million bitcoins.

In a timespan of 5 hours the prices rose 450 > 500 > 600 > *bears become bulls* > 800 > 1100 > 1500 > *weak hands dump for a quick profit* > 1333 > 1800 > 2300!!!

The prices will rise so quickly that the bots wont be able to catch up and there will be a constant $200 gap between buy and sell.

My dreams are always prophetic, much better than sticks and chats. This is it brethren.....load up on fiat, await the signal and then...... PUUUUUUUMP!

Don't eat before going to sleep. Smiley. It's bad for your health , and your dreams.

Auroracoin: one of the biggest pump and dumps in Cryptocurrency history - an article by The Cryptocurrency Times http://www.usacryptocoins.com/thecryptocurrencytimes/uncategorized/auroracoin-one-of-the-biggest-pump-and-dumps-in-cryptocurrency-history/

One of? I think that with 99.5% price drop it's actually the biggest.
2205  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine rejects Russia Gazprom gas price hike on: May 14, 2014, 10:27:24 AM
All these screams about "games", "threats" are nothing more than stupid jokes. Ukraine wants to continue using service while having over $3 billion debt.... If you don't pay your utility bills, then electricity and gas will be turned off. You have to deal with it and pay for services according to contract.

I'm almost willing to bet that that they will not  pay a cent and they will still receive that gas.
2206  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ukraine rejects Russia Gazprom gas price hike on: May 14, 2014, 10:23:25 AM
Deisik, that map is a bit outdated. The Blue Stream is not shown.

Want more info Smiley How about a more detailed map Smiley))))

Oh my god, enormous pumps coming in, last chance to buy below 700$.

Is the wait making you more delusional than usual? Cheesy

We need such bull in this thread where the usual two bears spread their "honey" everyday Smiley.
2208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: May 14, 2014, 10:10:17 AM

Mining has so little impact on the life of a coin that your article is making me laugh.

A coin , it's life and it's use have little to do with mining. What will happen when mining almost stops? The coin dies? How laughable:).
2209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: May 14, 2014, 10:08:27 AM
It's a useless effort to show people dogecoin and talk about dogecoin when they have difficulties in acquiring it.

Huh, what are you talking about? There is no difficulty in acquiring Dogecoins. If you have a verified paypal account, you can get it in in minutes.

To how many people who have only once heard about cryptos and are on the level of "average computer user" have you talked?
Do not overestimate the average joe.

If you go to the main forum and read the experiences of other forum members while trying to convince poeple to use cryptos you'll see that things are not that easy.
Just because you and your friends know a lot about a subject and a game it doesn't mean that the rest of the world has even heard of it.

Seems like publicity stunts are not working anymore.

I think it's time for doge to switch from advertising , events etc to actual use and try to make the coin easier for people to buy and sell and purchase things with it.

It's a useless effort to show people dogecoin and talk about dogecoin when they have difficulties in acquiring it.

Is there such ban in Russia?

Yes.
http://ria.ru/trend/_prohibition_account_02042013/
The law prohibiting state servicemen from having foreign account got passed:
http://ria.ru/politics/20130807/954928851.html
If deputies didn't want to close their foreign accounts, they should have resigned from their posts.

Interesting , I wasn't aware of it.
Then.. why the hell aren't they buying bitcoins =))))))))0

haha, I'm buying SPA's in Mintpal at a ridiculous price  Grin Grin Grin

All that people who are selling cheap will regret in some days.

Don't sell SPA's until it reaches at least 80000 satos.

The price gets dumped because people is selling.

Remember, don't sell SPA's.

Hold, hold and hold.

Don't sell.

What was the price when you were yelling do not sell?

Poklonskaja ended up on EU list of sanctions:
http://www.bfm.ru/news/257588

(Well the parrots from Canada continue to screech the word "sanctions": http://itar-tass.com/politika/1181646?utm_medium=rss20)

Putin instructed the RF government to help Crimea organise vacation season:
http://www.tvc.ru/news/show/id/39501

RF Central Bank stopped operations of 6 Ukrainian banks on Crimean territory:
http://www.forbes.ru/news/257037-tsb-prekratil-deyatelnost-shesti-ukrainskikh-bankov-v-krymu

Since we're talking about sanctions , while i was reading one of the news i saw this other article:

http://rt.com/politics/158304-russia-foreign-assets-bank/

Apart from the funny side of the story:

Quote
The newspaper’s unnamed source in the government has stressed that the main objective of the move was to uncover the civil servants who were dodging the ban on foreign assets as the sanctions make such people vulnerable to court action in in foreign jurisdictions, which is against the government’s desires.

Is there such ban in Russia?

That manor can be turned into something that looks so much better than the first pic. Go with white & gold man! Smiley That's what some architectures do. Buy them in such state and sell back with triple the price. So much jellyness in the air. Everything aside, it's possible to make a profit after a complete decoration work. That alone makes it a smart investment.

No please no!!!
And secondary , can we talk about dumps and walls or ponies or unicorns rather than this damn subject!

It's wall observer not Risto observer

Okay, someone just dumped 300+BTC worth of fiat.

We call it the anti-dump.

It was almost certain someone will try and buy after the dip. But i'll be amazed if the price won't be back up in less than 1 hour .... or two.
2216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 13, 2014, 01:02:27 PM
Huuuuuge news from Bitpay. *dump*.

The "news" was shit and any news results in dumping anyway.

So what was that tweet about?

That  russian-chinese border is not where both side want it for real.

Although the USSR and the PRC fought a disastrous war over the border in 1969, an agreement acceptable to China was reached in 1991 (the Sino-Russian border agreement, where the disputed area was ceded to China by Russia). Both sides are happy with the border as of now.

that can be hardly called a war

Do you really think somebody on that list would send an email for 1$ worth of coins?
