I think the thread started out as warning to shitcoin developers, and then later evolved into spoetnic's blog The rise of the shitcoin empire is too big to take down by a sniper. It needs time to collapse in its own weight. The scaling of the ever growing exchanges will deem unprofitable at some point and it will make economic sense to be choosy. That will organically reflect in the un-profitability of churning out shitcoins. In other words, the production of low mileage cars will phase out as the price of oil increases. I say it will be atleast a year before the exchanges wisen up. Now if only Poloniex would list freebiecoins Three is another possibility.. which can drown all the altcoins. If btc drops to 100 , let's see who will mine them , or use them altogether  But , i really don't wanna see that happening. |

I'm not against nation crypto concept or premines in a context that make sense. BTCI think some of these may be legitimate and could help increase Bitcoin adoption rate and bring the crypto idea to the general population. :-*They could serve an interesting agenda of decentralization. Mazacoin made false claims that lead people to invest based on lies.
And the failure of those coisn and the scams behind them will make people think that the even btc is a scam |

A name is just a key-value pair. The text value can be used for many things URLs, addresses, email addresses. The community should decide how they want to use it. OK, I see. BTW, is there any foundation about qora ? foundation? I mean a foundation to promote qora, such as build website , forum, free give away, third party service.... I can't believe it, WC and AC after all the bad things related to them are on the raise. But NC2 with great idea in roots is dropping. Bears are so stupid and shortsighted or those low sells are well organised to catch the fishes. Anyway, crypto world is full of bad and great surprises.

So....I love the POT concept but I have a question:
Why is POT running off of POW?
What happens as POW rewards decrease?
What happens when POW "ends" (even though it will never end entirely for this coin, it will become far less relevant).
Why is POT not its own independant reward, or perhaps tied to POS?

Good to hear....I hear the "patch" for the KGW flaw was more of a bandaid as it still left the vulnerability in place but only made it harder to exploit. Just passing along what I recall. I have not followed it closely. Wish you and your team the best of luck! Most have switch from kgw to digishield...I wonder how long it will take before a hole in that is found also |

I have never seen a coin actually reaching 0 price. Guess we are on the way. After all this, I wonder was what the actually difference between Hiro on one side and Dark or Badger on the other side. What did they do well compared to Hiro?
Because the lowest price for coins is 1 satoshi. . And when people don't want to buy it even at this price , the exchange removes it for low trade volume. |

I had a talk with the owner, and honestly, he looks very professional, he also have a few targets to deliver new stuff to the investors/miners. If i would have 100BTC or so, then i would just buy everything up to 500sats, and keep on buying. Make a loan and do so. And drop a message on the forum before you start buying |

And since dwarfpool has about 50% of hashrate (yes, again!!!) it seriously harms the DGW algo and it sets totally incorrect difficulty. Which in turn results in more blocks being found than planned.

Allthough the launch was questionable sha3 is not a mystery to mine. There are so many more questionable launches and coins,are you barking up their tree too? Blackcoin,Whitecoin and the general new fad "no ipo, limited Pow, Pos" or country coins like spain coin with no spanish website. Maxcoin is not a pump and dump 3 month coin, is cinamoncoin? Let's be honest , maxcoin was pumped by the tweets of max k beyond the actual price that this coin has due to it's use. Just like the other coins you mentioned in the early stage the price was all hype , driven by greed and fairytales. |

If i am miner then Maxcoin is deep shit coming to die.When no profitable its means No miners no coins,no interest and only final stage.As many others coins which is now dead or almost dead.
If i am trader i have lot of much better coins with much more pump and dumps to earn profit and in this point MAxcoin is no interest.
Buy now MAX and holding bag will let make me very nice loses.

As long as the hashrate remains relatively stable, then MaxCoin WILL increase in value over time as it it is an inherently deflationary currency that is specifically what it was designed to do. Ok mate, you stick to DRK and leave MAX for the people who are in this for the long term. That won't happen while trading is happening. The worry is if the 1 sat buy wall disappears at which point we are in trouble and may turn into a LTC trade.
The moment the price is hitting 1 satoshi , people don't want to sell and buyers don't want to offer twice (2 satoshi) for it. That is when trading stops. |
