The fact is that the only trades that appeared to make some volume on mintpal are panic sell trades. And this could lead people to completely give up on this coin if we get back to 1 sat (not concerned, i'm in for the long term)

Long term? That's something hard to imagine in the crypto world.
In 5 years all the cryptos might be extinct and a new type replacing them.

So , how do you define longterm?

Prices goes down and everybody is talking about scam again, price goes up and nobody talks about scam... it is a free market, prices will go down and up, even bitcoin goes down and up, is bitcoin also scam? You know you cannot win all the time...

lol, just let them complain and dump, when price raise, they will buy at a higher price again Grin

There are smart people also who dump and buy back at 0.5 the the price with this move Smiley

This thread is no longer a discussion , it's a propaganda war with people posting news. Why the hell do you post the entire wall of text just to make my mouse wheel scream?
Post the link and that's all.

Putin to formulate his attitude to referenda in Ukraine's south-east on their results

http://en.itar-tass.com/russia/731185

Quote
President Vladimir Putin will formulate his attitude to the referenda, held on Sunday, on the status of the Donetsk and Lugansk Regions, "on the strength of their results", presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told the newspaper Kommersant. What the RF President's decision will be "is difficult to forecast", Peskov added.

Difficult to forecast?  Oh really?
They already had the results one week before the referendum and they didn't have time to formulate at "attitude" =)))))

well im not selling shit since i bought at 80 and 125 satoshi...

Again with the weak hands myth?
Strong hands are for idiots. Real traders sell high and buy low , end end up with 100x times more coins than the hodlers.  a few of them.....

buying seemingly started on both stamp and huobi

I was expecting someone to close the arb gap on them. but this will do.

So we're through the December ban , the January one , the April 15 deadline , the may 10th , why do people still watch Huobi?

those 5000 coins on bittrex? Nothing to get that alarmed, unless it triggers a second wave.

Upsie , didn't check that one. I can't check the history of the orderbook on bittrex but were the dumps made the same time?

And a question to you - Do you mine in multipools ? if so , i'd be happy to know if you know a multipool that is worth mining at (I tried wemineall and its utter crap).

Cheers mr.polar bear

I stayed with multipool us the longest. Tried the blackpool also as I wanted to get some bc coin but found out it's better to do the conversion myself.
But honestly I wouldn't recommend any to a friend. They all have made me at least one time angry enough to switch.

When I take my 3 month break from bitcoin trading and come back, I bet it'll be exactly $445

3 months?  You will really stop trading and posting for 3 months?
When do you start the stop Smiley?
I decided that I would start next time I got a good entry opportunity which was either the next high volume drop into the 300s, or on a breakout of the downtrend, whichever came first. Also, I cannot guarantee that I'll stay away an entire 3 months, or that I'll come back at all. It was a rough estimate of an ideal.

It has been my misfortune that since I made my resolution nearly 3 weeks ago, Bitcoin has traded flat.

Our also, for losing the opportunity to see you take a break. We share the pain Smiley.

2314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ISR] Isracoin - The Israeli cryptocurrency on: May 11, 2014, 01:34:40 PM
So what businesses accept Isracoin? What can i actually purchase with ISR?

I hope cryptsy adds ISR soon! Bittrex only shows the last 20 trades for market history. It also does not list the total coins traded in the last 24 hours per exchange. I have been watching it quite regularly and i have seen multiple 10000 isr coin sales, then they are usually followed by 10 or more 1 ISR coin sales. I like using Bittrex but it does have short comings.

Hey there

As for cryptsy... it will not be a good idea to get added to crypsty right now and the coin will not get added unless someone will pay them to do so.

Due to lack of marketing , the coin really has few votes - you can look at a coin like "coino" (just an example) that has way more votes than ISR and is waiting in the votes sections for months now.

With coins that have almost zero marketing and a small fan base its almost impossible to get added to cryptsy without paying them.

In this situation its better not to get added to crypsty without a strong fan base - as being added to crypsty right now will make the price go up a little bit and than boom go down , like with every small coin that joins.

And being added to crypsty will just make life easier for people who mine and dump this coin.

I really hope that I am totally wrong and that the DEVS will release some news soon that will make me feel sorry and apologize for doubting them Smiley

But shouldn't this be a nation coin? All the people in Israel already interested in cryptos should vote for it , right?
Plus the miners..the ones holding a few isr..

Seems like the fan base is actually double digits.

With all honesty - When I first heard about it , I thought "isra-scam" or "kiddy coin" , all the people from work who have mining rigs also called it isra-scam and didn't bother mining it
Then a friend of mine emailed me about it going live (available for mining) and i mined it here and there as long as the difficulty level was not above 20 -  usually between 3-15 diff level.

So i am pretty sure that all the Israelis who are interested in cryptos (a lot of people) who didn't mine or buy it don't really care.

Just like I wouldn't have voted for it if I did not mine it and would not bother to identify myself in order to get 100coins for free - no one likes giving our personal information (ID card number and phone and so on) to people they don't know... especially when you get a whooping (curently) $2.5 for doing so.

Only the ones who mined and bought it care - and I don't think that getting it on crypsty is a good idea right now.

Also - I don't think that it's a scam coin or pump and dump...  I just think that its a coin that takes it to the other extreme of "we will do our work and that is enough to make people believe in this coin!"

I hope to be proven wrong , Anyway I using part of my hash power for "new" or "speculative" coins , and move it to some other coin for the time being...

I got a question for you ? did you mine or buy this coin ? I see that you posed here more than a few times (usually sarcastic comments)  however I've seen you doing the same in other forums at the past.. so I'm just wondering out of curiously about your link to Isracoin

I think that all nation coins are a failure.
The whole 50% to the citizen and 50% to miners is idiotic as it's possible that more than 50% of the coins end up in hands of outsiders , so how will that help that country economy?

Besides , I doubt the fairness in the distribution and that there are insane numbers of ways to fake it so people end up with more coins.
Aurora just proved this.

Also , I hate copycoins. For god sake , add at least a feature to make me buy them (i do hold a few altcoins , even dogecoin ) but whenever i see a pure clone I can't help bashing it.

Feels like there is no actual development in cryptos , just a printing machine printing coins like the government is printing Fiat.

Russia’s ‘civilized’ offshore? Moscow allocates $1.5 bn for Crimea
http://rt.com/business/158196-crimea-invest-offshore-russia/

Quote
$1.5 billion (55.4 bln rubles) has been allocated by Moscow to the Russian republic of Crimea and Sevastopol to balance its budget in 2014. But what is on Moscow’s mind regarding the peninsular?

Quote
“The special economic zone in Crimea will be based on best examples in world practice and we are not going to substitute the Ukrainian system for a Russian one. We have a unique opportunity to capitalize on the current lack of a bureaucratic chokehold in Crimea. Our goal is to not make Crimea just like Russia, but a lot better and then spread the model throughout the country. The draft law regarding the special economic zone on the peninsula is in the making and we tried to include as many things that are on the minds of officials and business community as possible,” the minister for Crimean Affairs, Oleg Saveliev, told Russia’s Vedomosti newspaper.

I smell a tax heaven being built there Smiley Might be wrong but are they trying to build  Hong Kong replica?
2318  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Transnistria (Pridnestrov'je) seeking independence from Moldova on: May 11, 2014, 01:17:23 PM
Well, I agree that is was not the most intelligent comment that a politician could have made in such a delicate question, so I can see why Romanians are enraged.

On the other hand, Romania should not have gotten involved. This was between Russia and Moldova, and the feud over Transnistria has been going on for some time. A bit of reporting from RT (I'll quote some statement that caught my attention the most):

Stuck in rogue airspace: Moldova seizes Transnistria petitions from Russian delegation jet
http://rt.com/news/158164-moldova-rogozin-airspace-romania/

Quote
“Moldovan secret services on-board our plane are confiscating boxes with Transdniestrians’ signatures for reunification with Russia,” Russian Deputy PM Dmitry Rogozin tweeted.

These documents, according to Rogozin, were transferred to him by activists during his visit to Tiraspol for Victory Day celebrations.

“Yesterday we received signatures that were handed to us by activists of the Union of Russian Communities,” the Deputy Prime Minister added.

Shouldn't he have some immunity from searches? On the other just recently the Bolivian president's plane was force-landed and searched for Snowden...

Quote
The Moldovan authorizes were able to seize the documents after the plane carrying Russian politicians was forced to land in Chisinau after both Ukraine and Romania restricted its airspace to the Russian Rusjet Yak 42.

On Saturday, Rogozin tweeted that Romania closed its airspace “at the request of the US.” Ukraine also banned the plane from flying over its territory.

Here is the offending statement in question:

Upon a US request, Romania has closed its air space for my plane,” he tweeted. “Ukraine doesn't allow me to pass through again. Next time I'll fly on board TU-160,” he said implying that with all the neighboring airspaces closed only Russia's largest strategic bomber could pierce through.

So, the US trace again... But, oh the music of the word "sanctions". It can justify anything:

Quote
“The threat of using a Russian strategic bomber plane by a Russian deputy prime minister is a very grave statement under the current regional context,” the statement read.

Romania justified its own actions by “simply following sanctions” imposed by the EU against Russia over Ukraine, although it remains unclear how the visa ban of one person is related to the rejection of crossing airspace for the whole aircraft.

The Romanians did not mention why the same rules were not followed during Rogozin's initial travel to Tiraspol on May 8, when his plane was forced by Ukraine – and was allowed to – fly over Bulgaria and Romania to reach the veterans of Transnistria for Victory Day celebrations.

Quote
“Our plane was ordered to return to Chisinau, threatening forced landing in Ukraine,” Vladimir Medinsky, Russia's culture minister said on Saturday, explaining that at first, the jet was cleared for takeoff, but as the flight just started to ascend, it was forced down, most likely following Washington's request. Kiev itself explained that Rusjet (RSJ) was not given flight permission “in connection with gross violations of Ukraine's airspace use, namely landing at a closed Simferopol airport.”

About Transnistria:
Quote
Transnistria is a breakaway region of Moldova located between the River Dniester and the eastern Moldovan border with Ukraine. Since its declaration of independence in 1990, unrecognized by the UN, and the War of Transnistria in 1992, it has been governed as an autonomous territorial unit with special legal status. Most of its citizens speak Russian. Up to 1,500 Russian peacekeepers are protecting order there, under the agreement with Moldova.

About "This was between Russia and Moldova" , just like Russia is interested in the Transnistria we could claim we're interested in Moldova. After all that is seen as Romanian land. Not that I join the enthusiams on this but..

On the other hand it appears that this whole escort the plane stop the plane thing was caused by Rogozin himself.

The plane took of with the destination Moscow via Ukraine but in went from the start towards our air space. Why?
The AACR didn't comment yet if they sent any message and the MAE said they will have a another statement on this.

The whole situation is at least weird.

Besides , the Ukrainians deny the ban and it seems he indeed arrived to Moscow  through Ukraine airspace.

Also a statement from the authorities in Moldova say that the plane claimed technical malfunctions when it returned to Chisinau.
Also it's weird that he posted on twitter the message from the so called romanian fighter ? , but not from the mig that intercepted it over Ukraine.

This whole thing is mess and my head is starting to hurt a bit.

1 Blackcoin = 1000 blacks

Using the word rat would be awful.

1 Blackcoin = 1,000,000 blacks. Have to future proof for when the whole world is using blackcoin.

I don't want to start that kind of discussion but I think we should avoid the word "black" left alone. Black*something maybe, but not alone.
