2301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in Church. on: July 23, 2022, 09:45:38 PM
That's odd for me, it shouldn't be the church conducting that training. But, if that's the pastor's thinking, I guess he's into money and basically should prioritize other things than it like the gospel itself and just leave works like this to those professionals and enthusiasts that likes to conducts meeting and seminars related to crypto or, maybe he's also an enthusiast but that's off of his scope as a pastor. And with technology like blockchain and bitcoin, it can really be in lined with a lot of bible verses.
2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins achieve goals I set? on: July 23, 2022, 08:38:57 PM
ETH to $8k. I'll surely dump the remaining Ethereum on my hold if that ever happens. But I don't know if I'll be able to reach that price because as soon as it reaches $5k to $6k, I might have to dump those ETH for the sake of profit as I don't want to miss profiting from it.

ETH rally to $8k is possible but more importantly we need to see bitcoin cross $100k first. You don't have to wait for ETH to hit $8k if that's not your goal, if you already have ETH at a low price and when it hits 5k you're already profitable then I think you should sell. Although I still believe ETH will have a bright future, I am concerned that ETH will become more centralized after it transitions to POS. So we can't say anything in advance, selling when it's profitable is what we should do.
It's possible and bitcoin will really play a big part for it to Eth to reach that price. As long as the price is too encouraging to sell, I'll take the money so that I won't miss the profits unlike before.
No more greediness there but there's a goal that I know that it can happen and can potentially be hit in the near future just like what happened last year with the market.
2303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of Tesla bitcoin sale not significant on: July 22, 2022, 10:09:28 PM
I do not know why the news are bringing this up, no significant effect at all.
Yes, it's different this time. There's a slight effect on it but look how the market is recovering from the crash that it went from. Maybe this is all planned by them.
Like before, when there were news about buying out of a certain company for bitcoin, the price shoots up and I think they've preserved this news well to affect the market once again to send it to the bottom again for them to buyback those cheap bitcoins but it was unsuccessful.

After this hardfork/the merger this year and we got the 100k transaction in a second with other developments. The coin we resume the higher trade and more adoption into the blockchain. I see ethereum hitting a considerable price prediction of 20k in the next altseason. If you had held it till now, you cant persevere for the next bull market.
Yeah, Vitalik guarantees that but we need to wait first and see the application before celebrating that finish. $20k is a lot but I'm not limiting the potential of it.
I know that there will be crazy prices for the next years to come but I don't know how long I can hold ETH on this part. But if it's about bitcoin, I've been patient holding it and that will be my bet for my life so I hold it tight unlike any other coins that I hold.

2306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I invest money? on: July 21, 2022, 09:10:12 PM
if we are focus on the highest APY then I think that you have made a few mistakes in investing. because to invest is not only about the amount of money that we will get in a short time. but in my opinion the best investments are investments that are sustainable or have long prospects in the future. if you want to invest in anchor protocol then you have to make sure that the platform has good and sustainable prospects so that you can enjoy it for a longer time.
That's right, it's about how sustainable the investment is and he's said UST and we all knew what has happened to it. It was posted during a time when no one has expected that UST and Luna were going to be a dead project. There are also other platforms where people can invest if they're for the APY and staking, aside from anchor who has specific cryptocurrencies to invest in. In mycointainer, everyone has got various choices to stake. If you're for the savings, you can capitalize with your crypto as long as it's supported and in the choice to stake.
2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to staking - is this worth it? on: July 20, 2022, 10:03:49 PM
Staking requires you to lock up your tokens for a certain period of time, which can be 30 days, 60 days, 90 days depending on your choice. The risk here is that if you are in the process of staking, your coins suddenly increase in value or you need to sell them for business, you will not be able to sell immediately but have to wait until the end of the staking period, only then can you get your token back.
Not all. There are certain offers that don't require you to lock your assets when you stake them. In binance, they've got locked up options and there are also flexible options. The same with mycointainer.com as I quote, they have flexible options.

Do you have to lock in your coins? As a beginner, you’d probably want to go for a flexible plan to access your crypto assets all the time. Surely, the higher is the risk, the higher will be your APY. However, with locked digital coins, you can’t take advantage of unpredictable changes in the market.

With MyContainer, there’s no need to lock your coins for the duration of your staking period.
2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can applications/games that promise coins and tokens as rewards be trusted? on: July 20, 2022, 04:34:54 PM
Trust is subjective. For example, you've tried all of those that you've mentioned and you've made decent money from them, that can affect your trust to them and you're likely to say that you're trusting them because they made you money.
That's why if it's about asking the trust of others for particular projects, there are bias answers and as well as subjective and reasonable answers as to why they think that the project and app is trustworthy and why not.
2309  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I want to exchange USTC (US Terra) for USDT on: July 19, 2022, 01:33:27 PM
USTC = $0.04
Everyone is aware of the fiasco that the LFG did to their projects. Besides, there are still exchanges that has it on their list so you do trade there and take that estimate of four bucks.
2310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: July 19, 2022, 10:42:23 AM
I think better to ignore projects that offer thousands of percent returns, you will most likely be surprised when the product is worthless in the next year even this is like a trap. 10% in a year is enough to generate passive profits which are almost low risk
A more than 100% APY seems to be high too and those that has thousands of % to offer, they really are something and everyone should be too careful in choosing. And when good projects that offer good APY and eventually they've become popular and too many stakers come, the percentage will go down.

but still risky you have to find a trusted platform.
Speaking of platforms, stakingrewards.com do suggest the top 10 staking providers and that includes(no particular order) Binance, Kraken, mycointainer, ankr and many more.
2311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin price and NFTs market on: July 18, 2022, 11:02:49 PM
Compared to the last 4 months, some NFTs are not even half of their previous price.
It's the end of the NFTs world?
Maybe, the hype was over for the NFTs. If you're into it and still holding one, you need to make your own research if that NFT you own has active developers.
Because in the BAYC, I'm starting to see that they're into continuous development and all of those BAYC NFT holders are testing a game that's made for them, I have no idea if it's an NFT p2e game.
2312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roller coasters!!! on: July 18, 2022, 10:04:31 PM
I think all markets are a rollercoaster. Not just bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. But you can see the ups and downs more clearly here. These cycles are making a lot of people think about whether this is the bottom or not. When the price of different coins is at its high, there will be other things to think about.
Yeah, even stocks and s&p 500 and we'll never get a stable market at all times. There could be some time that we'll see them stable but eventually, all of them will comeback and will be that volatile just like cryptocurrencies. The traditional investors don't like how volatile cryptos are but they're turning blind of themselves when it's about the traditional markets that are also volatile and unpredictable just like how it goes with the tech stocks.
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: July 17, 2022, 05:34:44 PM
I was just browsing through coinmarketcap and saw that matic is on the top trending. What's happening with matic and why is it that it's currently trending?
I know that it won't last on that trending spot but I'm curious to know what's actually happening on it and why is it that there's that much attention on it lately.
2314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bounty on: July 16, 2022, 10:36:16 AM
Before, bounty allocations were like $1M in fund and then no one has that thought of which of them was real and fake. Well, it was the ICO craze and many have made a lot of money from there. Knowing today how legitimate a bounty is harder. Let's say that you've been legitimately paid by their token but the next challenge that you have to face is where that token is listed. If the devs are good, they'll have it listed on a good exchange otherwise, it's listed on ugly exchanges that has got low volume.
2315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and crypto what i been told on: July 16, 2022, 08:49:29 AM
Dude, your characters feels like you're just sending SMS to us.

Btc was not created by satshi satoshhi
In fact was just blck market owners same as libert resrrve been doing just now together with goverment money dont know ethics and morals.
Okay then so that means that satoshi=blackmarket syndicate? Honestly, many don't care anymore who satoshi is especially the new investors. But to us, we do care a lot and thankful to him and whoever he/she or they was, and we're all aware that it's an alias/pseudonym and we'll never know who he really is and there goes too many speculations on who he was.
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gamers want to use crypto in the Metaverse? on: July 15, 2022, 04:34:37 PM
Due to the rampant play to earn projects since last year until the bear market has come. It's interesting that you get paid to play and it's like what everyone is dreaming of.
You enjoy and you're earning at the same time and that's the desire of the majority since everyone is into gadgets. There's a belief from the oldies that you can't earn and play at the same time before but times have changed.
2317  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 15, 2022, 02:40:05 PM
There's the interim president now proclaimed, Ranil Wickremesinghe. I've read it on this article in particular about the formal resignation of its former President who flew and now in Singapore.
Article: Sri Lanka MPs to elect new president after Gotabaya Rajapaksa officially resigns
I do not know much of politics in Sri Lanka but what does the citizens there think of it?
2318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: July 14, 2022, 11:30:38 AM
Staking do make clear sense because it's one of those things that reduce risks and lose in Crypto space.
Risk is reduced because that you don't have to be active at all. But it's still there and the market will still have the effect whether it'll be positive or negative (moving up or down).

Traders look forward to staking, even myself prefer staking than trading.
It is because anything that earns us money, we'll take that chance and opportunity even it's that low.

Perhaps it's still risky doing both trading and staking, some tokens might come out to be less Profits while some tokens pumps massively. Staking is not 100% guranteed that you would make enough Profits after all, it still depend on the volatility of the market
That's so true, the market as I've said will still have that reaction whether we're trading or staking.

now that the market is bad because of the recent bearish and dumps going on with coins, same thing will also apply to staking.
But what's good with staking is that you actually gain in coins without doing anything and btw, you can compare the rates that mycointainer has to other staking platforms that you're aware of.
2319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to invest Dot for long term? What are your thoughts about Polkadot? on: July 14, 2022, 10:03:27 AM
I haven't seen any issue with DOT and I think it's one of the top likeable projects in the market. It's not overrated, it's not also underrated. Well, by the look that it has right now. You can have it if you want but to think that you'll only buy when it breaks out, don't you think that it's even riskier?
If you believe to the project, you start the DCA right away until it breaks out and waiting for your time to take profit.
2320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum’s failure to close above $1.3K on: July 13, 2022, 09:01:57 PM
The other scenario is bulls want the bears to win and pull price down below 1000 again -- dip and surge to 1300 is instant 30% gain, and very easy to happen with these levels.
Surges can happen for Ethereum, well, there's still the connection and correlation for bitcoin and ethereum. Whether they've got the best update and merging.
If, bitcoin don't move that much, Ethereum can be limited on its move and that's why there's still the tightness of these two and it has to move along with one another.
I am really pessimistic about the future of Ethereum and I think it's over priced for what it is compared to Polygon and CNDL especially. This cherry on top is that people locked up millions of dollars in ETH that may never be unlocked. Consider what happens if the merge fails or post merge the ETH is not unlocked for some reason. Also, ETH 2.0 sharding, when that comes in 2025, only includes sharded data, not true transaction sharding like seen on NEAR or ZIL.
I'm not thinking that the merging will fail because I think they've foreseen the possible outcome on it and that's why there has been a long delay that they need to apply to make sure that it becomes successful. But not ignoring the other projects that have got good chains too just as you've mentioned. Well, it is all on you and if you're for the tech from all of those projects, they'll be prevailed within the next bull run and I think Ethereum is still there no matter what how good you think the other projects are.
