Manche Seiten geben gar keine max. Menge an (was i. d. 768 Millionen an. Offizielle Angaben konnte ich auch nicht finden :/

Participated in the survey! I wish you much success with your dissertation!
I am not quite sure if this forum is a good platform for this type of survey. Maybe you should rather ask in crypto/blockchain-related groups on platforms like LinkedIn.

That's right we shouldn't trust polls because it is not accurate and even if someone is on the top like clinton on 2016 presidential election, nobody can predict what will happens next just like that clinton is on the top but during the day of the announcement of the winner, it turns out that trump is the one who won on the election.
I would argue that strict scientific criteria can be used to predict a election result fairly accurately. The only question is whether it is idiologically wanted. After the election 2016, some newspapers and polling institutes admitted that they probably lived in a bubble. The bubble primarily referred to so-called liberal areas on the east and west coasts and mostly ignored the heart and mainland. Institutes which were more openly to other opinions did a far better prediction, for example the Universtiy of California => https://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-usc-latimes-poll-20161108-story.html (which by the way was critized by some media for the good poll results for Trump before the election). After observing in recent years that many of such liberal journalists have moved out of their bubble and also looked at other opinions in the country more strongly, it has recently seemed to me as if this is being reversed, also due to the latest political developments. For this reason, I think that current polls do not reflect the reality.

Do not rely on polls when it comes to these things, Trump had a %18 chance to win the last one at one point, but he managed to increase that slowly but surely and eventually won. -snip-
Exactly! I remember a poll of NYT on Twitter one or two days before the election that the winning chance of Clinton is 90% to 10% (even though I made a screenshot of the tweet I can not find it anymore). Nevertheless, there are other sources like this which summarizes the polls for a period of time back in 2016, and where Clinton always had a massive lead. Source: http://www.nytimes.com/newsgraphics/2016/10/18/presidential-forecast-updates/newsletter.htmlIf there is one thing that 2016 has made clear to us, it is that you should not trust polls.

I wonder if it is possible to send Bitcoins from a legacy address (1 ...) to a Segwit address (b2 ...) and vice versa?
Yes, it is. You can send to a native SegWit address (bc1...) as long as your wallet supports sending to such addresses (which most popular wallets do). What wallet do you use? You might be able to generate a nested SegWit address (3...) which will be compatible with all services and will let you save a little on the fees. Thanks for your fast answer! I am currently using Electrum where I have two different wallets: one to manage my Legacy addresses and one to manage my SegWit addresses. I've never heard about nested SegWit addresses. Do you know if Electrum supports nested segwit addresses?

I wonder if it is possible to send Bitcoins from a legacy address (1 ...) to a Segwit address (b2 ...) and vice versa? The reason is, I have Bitcoins on a Segwit address and the recipient service only provides a legacy address for deposit.

I hope for many goals in the Bundesliga today. I'm going to bet: +3,5 RB Lipsk – Paderborn @1.6 +3,5 Leverkusen – Bayern @1.78 +3,5 Dortmund – Hertha @1.82 I am most worried about the FCB - LEV result, but if the goal is scored quickly +3.5 is very possible. I really enjoy watching matches when I bet a lot of goals. I also hope that Timo Werner is still going to chase Lewandowski in the goalscorer table. And in turn Lewandowski is still thinking about the Gerd Muller record. To score 40 goals will be extremely difficult. There are too few matches left until the end of the season.
+3,5 goals for Leverkusen - Bayern and Dortmund - Hertha are much too risky considering the low odds in my opinion. Leverkusen, Dortmund and Bayern have the best defense of the league. Hertha got many goals, but mainly in the first half of the season. Since the second half, they have been very stable overall. Therefore the probability is high that there will be few goals in the two matches. I think the safest bet is Leipzig - Paderborn. I am curious to see if your bets work.

Letzter Post zweieinhalb Monate her, obwohl Modum immer mal wieder einen interessanten Blog-Post raushaut.

- Kaum langfristige Mitarbeiter, sehr viele Praktikanten
Man sollte alles einstampfen.

Thanks for the update, Crowetic! I am very curious about what comes with the project soon after waiting years to see Qora/Qortal's resurrection of the dead ...
The sentence irritates me a bit. Aren't almost all blockchains based on an SQL or relational database? With a blockchain that runs on a SQL database, we can easily support applications utilizing the chain, or a separate 'asset chain' that is launched by any person/group wishing to, with its own set of 'rules' goverened by the 'groups' system on the chain.

"Stock market capitalization as percent of GDP, 2018 - Country rankings: The average for 2018 based on 63 countries was 70.95 percent." (Taken from the Global economy)
To put this in perspective, the oldest stock market goes as far back as the 16th century and the wall street market was established around 1792 IIRC. Bitcoins' Genesis block was mined in 2009. This post wins the thread. Bitcoiners need to exercise some patience. In 2017, the BTC market reached almost 5% of the size of the gold market. After existing for 8 years. That's incredible to me, beyond all expectations. -snip- However, you should not forget that these are digital assets which take less time to be economically mature. Comparing this with gold, which has been valuable for millennia, is a bad comparison. It's like comparing Google with a gold mine operator. The reason, in my opinion, for the small value of crypto economics is simply the still bad use for payments. There is still no way 11 years after Bitcoin was developed to pay with cryptocurrencies at low free cost and stable prices. I paid my hosting bill with Bitcoin on Friday and paid almost $ 2 in fees. Not acceptable for mainstream usage. Besides that, I wouldn't trust the numbers anyway. Most of the crypto economy is invisible and happens underground. The numbers do not reflect this.

Yes it would be. The idea is to make a service similar to Proof of Existence or Origin Stamp where you can store file hashes, but you can also store entire files or simple messages, so in that way it would be similar to Crypto Grafitti. It would basically do what all these sites do in one service. Edit: I think the tricky thing about launching such a site is what to do if people decide to put illegal or stolen material on the blockchian. How do you "cover your ass" in such situations ? To be honest, the idea is not new. As you and me already mentioned, OriginStamp is such a service. But there is also one for IOTA, called IOTAStamp.co what does the same and which is completely free. I already used it from time to time. There may be more for other crypto currencies already. How would you like your service to differ from these?

...most of the companies on a very small list are now defunct and do not do this.
In recent years I have read about several - mostly small - companies in Europe that have paid the salary in Bitcoin or Ethereum. I just looked up what I remember, most of them have stopped paying salaries in cryptos. Two reasons are mostly given. First, the extremely high price fluctuations. Nobody likes to have their salary paid out in a currency where the value is $ 3000 on the day of payment and only $ 2000 two weeks later. Second, a lack of regulation and problems with the tax authorities. Bitcoin is not a recognized means of payment in many countries. So far, it looks like New Zealand is the only country to regulate salary payments in Bitcoin.

Although it is possible to store data (besides the usual Tx-data) on the BTC blockchain, doesn't mean it's a good idea. Just sayin'.
You can save a certain amount of text data in the blockchain, even though it's not cheap. For example, a hash of a file that is saved externally. I have recently used free service OriginStamp what is doing exactly this. @thread creator: You should roughly describe how the project and the storage will look like, to get more attention from serious deveopers.

Regarding the current survey on Pochettino: I think he could also be a very good option for Borussia Dortmund. In Dortmund they are very unhappy with the work of Favre and various names for the succession are being discussed. Last name I read was Nico Kovac, former Bayern Munich coach. Pochettino would be a good match for the club.
