1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any other high dividends yielding altcoins that I should know? on: January 13, 2021, 10:57:19 AM
In the following I list three projects in which I have taken part or still take part and can therefore recommend them.

Komodo pays you an annual reward for staking of about 5%. More information on https://www.stakingrewards.com/earn/komodo

Waves pays you an annual reward for staking of about 5-7%. More information on https://www.stakingrewards.com/earn/waves

Tezos pays you an annual reward for staking of about 5-6%. More information on https://www.stakingrewards.com/earn/tezos
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum now looks like a complete joke on: January 13, 2021, 10:51:18 AM
It doesn't look like altcoins will pump hard this time around, it's still shocking that many ERC20 tokens under Ethereum are not really appreciating in value even when Ethereum reached 1200$, I have nothing to say than to ask what the heck is going on.

If you're shocked, then you've never looked at most of the ERC20's. 99% of the ERC20 tokens are complete garbage. Sorry for the choice of words, but it is correct. There are very few who really have a use and these are mostly tokens that are about to switch to their own chain.

Another issue is the insane gas fee of ethereum, I have been holding ERC20 tokens the most and to even sell right now is killing me inside because it costs over 10$ to move my ERC20 tokens to exchange, I might just have to give up on this heartbreaking Ethereum blockchain

Similar to above: Already in 2017 it was shown that with increased use of the Ethereum chain (at that time triggered by the many ERC20s due to the ICO boom) the fees increase extremely. Seen even stronger than Bitcoin's fees in relative comparison. That was more than three years ago, and little has been done in development to improve it. If this surprises you, then you haven't looked closer at Ethereum at all.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best service for sharing live bets? on: January 13, 2021, 10:45:14 AM
Hello guys, what did you think is the best service for share live bets?
I play in a couple of bookmakers, and I am trying to find a service that could allow to share my bets in real time (including back/lay).
A part of telegram (dedicated channel) or twitch (share a screen) did you know other services that could be useful for my idea?

Well, I would go for Telegram. Most people in betting use it and you immediately get notifications. Twitch is not that handy in my opinion, especially for people watching while on the go. As a third option, and to stear a middle course between the two, I would recommend Discord.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 12, 2021, 04:09:20 PM
DFB-Pokal games, like all internal cups, are different and that is the reason why I believe Leverkusen will win this game. At more than 2.something I believe it can be considered like some sort of gift from the bookies: I will play my chance on this single game. And we will be basically betting the opposite  Wink

Agree with you in the point that such cup matches are special and have their own rules. I am very curious how Bayern will react after the surprising defeat. Frankfurt today has the opportunity to create a surprise similar to Gladbach.
1805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My only BTC regret is this one on: January 12, 2021, 04:04:46 PM
I first found out about it only in 2013! And I'm an avid internet user. However, I still don't get it how I missed the first train. On the other hand, many people who found about it in 2009 might have said "what's this joke, not interested".

Well, the funny thing is, many (tech avid) people I know asked themselves late 2017 how they could have missed the Bitcoin train all the years. In early 2018, they were very happy they missed the train and almost forget Bitcoin again. In late 2020, same people asked themselves again how they could have missed the train again Grin A never ending loop.
1806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling advertising monitored closely on: January 12, 2021, 01:41:59 PM
This aside we do have a bigger problem here to address.
1. Why did the company use this kind of advertising in the first way ?
2. What should we do to ensure that kids under 18 doesn't start to gamble? We cannot ask them for identity cards and then expect them to show.

That's a good question. From the psychological point of view, I would say that this type of advertisement will stay in the memory longer. Because this is exactly the aim of advertising. Through constant repetition or through particularly aggressive advertising, to anchor it in the minds of the customer. But I just wonder whether an advertisement that is so disturbing and that might get stuck in some people's minds would really generate more customer traffic and thus more sales. I doubt.

1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you expect the Altcoin rally? on: January 12, 2021, 01:03:15 PM
One bad day when Bitcoin fell from $42,000 to $32,000 and possibly even more. Bitcoin's capitalization has decreased very quickly. We hope good things return soon and Altcoins will rise.
I hope what happened way back 2017-2018 will not gonna happen again. Wherein the market value of top coins such as eth and btc are extremely fell down at the same time the altcoins and did not recover for a long period of time. Such a disaster for the holders/investors of top coins and alt coins.

There are a few factors that suggest it won't happen this time. However, it cannot be ruled out that prices will correct, as they have simply risen too quickly in the past few weeks. We already had the first correction yesterday and I still expect Bitcoin prices well below $ 30k. The only question is whether only Bitcoin will correct so much and whether the Altcoins will also fall heavily.

1810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: January 10, 2021, 10:30:20 AM
How much there is who face this problem?

To be honest: Never in the last two or three years. When I started to deal with Bitcoin over eight years ago, many did not know about Bitcoin. So I tried to explain, but less were interested. That changed in 2017 at the latest when Bitcoin was on everyone's lips due to the first big pump. Since then, I haven't really met anyone who hasn't heard of Bitcoin. But that may differ from country to country. It would be interesting to know which country you come from?
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best Free and VIP (paid) predictions by Mica Service⚽️🎾🏀 on: January 10, 2021, 10:20:52 AM
Free predictions:
🇫🇷1. Dijon - Marseille; Marseille will win, odds 1.85
🇩🇪2. Bayer Leverkusen - Werder Bremen; Bayer Leverkusen will win, odds 1.45
🇩🇪3. Mainz - E. Frankfurt; E. Frankfurt will win, odds 2
🇮🇹4. Benevento - Atalanta; Atalanta will win, odds 1.4
🇪🇸5. Osasuna - Real Madrid; Real Madrid will win, odds 1.45
🇪🇸6. Granada - Barcelona; Barcelona will win, odds 1.4

VIP predictions, Parlay Group and INFO MATCH are available via https://t.me/micabettingservice

Dijon - Marseille -> 0:0 -> bet lost
Bayer Leverkusen - Werder Bremen -> 1:1 -> bet lost
Osasuna - Real Madrid -> 0:0 -> bet lost

I am wondering if you have any statistics of your predictions? If I just take your six predictions above you have a 50% win rate, what is pretty average. It is even more worse because you mostly chose bets with very low odds, what gives you -20% loss if you would have bet $10 on each match (stake $60, won $48).

1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 10, 2021, 09:32:55 AM
I watched the last couple of Juventus games live on TV. What surprised me is that they haven't been able to dominate their opponents as they did the last two seasons. In particular, I suspect that Christiano Ronald is performing significantly worse this season than the last two and that the entire Juventus gameplay is suffering as a result, because it is primarily designed for Christiano Ronaldo. I wonder if Ronaldo's underperformance can be traced back to the aftereffects of his Covid-19 infection. What do you mean?
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 10, 2021, 09:25:18 AM
Overall, a match day with many surprises. I am glad I did not find the time to bet, otherwise I would have lost valuable Bitcoins Cheesy

I did not expect Bayern will lose the match, especially not after a 0-2 lead. I did not expect Schalke wins its match that clear against Hoffenheim (although I gave them a chance to win when they fight hard, but not that clear) and finally, I did not expect that Dortmund dominates Leipzig in that way they did. Really surprising, also the 5-0 win of Freiburg against Köln. Such match days can make betting really hard.
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you expect the Altcoin rally? on: January 10, 2021, 09:14:51 AM
I'm not sure about that dude, come one altcoin rally already happened since bitcoin has pumped so hard last months.

No, it did not. If you're just looking at dollar prices, maybe you mean it. But switch the altcoin prices at Coinmarketcap to Bitcon prices, then almost all altcoins are strongly in the red, which means that they have lost a lot of value compared to Bitcoin. The dollar price of altcoins has only risen because the bitcoin dollar price has risen faster than the altcoins lost in relation to the bitcoin price. So we haven't seen an altcoin rally yet.

1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash says they are not a privacycoin on: January 07, 2021, 09:53:14 PM
How do you feel about that? Do you want to invest in a project that puts compliance with regulators above their own declared principles? Or do you think that this is just a tactical lie to return the lost liquidity and its all okay?

I am not a DASH investor. But I was interested in the project for a while and it didn't occur to me that Dash would be a privacy coin like Monero. It may be that there have been some who like to see Dash as a privacy coin, but they are the same ones who consider Bitcoin anonymous. The statement is also understandable: Dash wants to go mainstream with Dashpay as a payment option. And for this, the supervisory authorities must also be convinced. This is much easier if you are not a "privacy coin".
1818  Economy / Economics / Re: How will financial crisis affect crypto? on: January 07, 2021, 09:49:00 PM
Financial crisis affect crypto positively. Like what happened this covid 19 pandemic, many people lost their job, almost all business establishment closed, everything is affected with this pandemic and it caused financial crisis which paved the way for more bitcoin recognition. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency become the alternative source of income of many people just to survive.

Not really. If you go back to March last year, the price of Bitcoin collapsed due to Covid restrictions and an expected financial and economical crisis. But after it became clear that the economic situation was not going to be as bad as expected, and after a huge amount of money was made available by the central banks, the price recovered. If we were in a real financial crisis like 2008, then the Bitcoin price would not be as high by far.
1819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: January 07, 2021, 09:45:13 PM
The thing is, all I'm putting in is money that I really don't need. That means, the money for life and my fixed savings rate is already factored out. The money that I lose (although I often win more than I lose, especially when betting), I book under having fun. Of course you can later think, oh what money could I have saved if I hadn't used it for gambling. But as I said, it was used to have fun. Just like when you go to the cinema or the disco. In the end you don't ask yourself what I could have saved if I had never gone to the cinema or the disco.
1820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 07, 2021, 09:34:24 PM
I think the match of the week is Leipzig-Dortmund. Leipzig are the 2nd with 31 points and Dortmund are the 4th with 25 points. Leipzig have a way better form than Dortmund on the last league matches. But Haaland has come back from his injury and I believe he will be a very big threat for Leipzig. I will enjoy watching the match. In my opinion, there will be at least 3 goals in this match and Dortmund won't lose this.

In fact, I see it that way too. The match is important for both teams. Leipzig has to win to play for the title with Bayern, although Bayern also have tough opponent with Gladbach and a victory for Bayern is not guaranteed. For Dortmund, a win is important to be a candidate for the title. If Dortmund lose the match, they have next to no chance to win the title this year. Bayern, Leipzig and Leverkusen are simply too strong for that. Definitely an exciting game day.
