...btw, I am surprised with Denmark, whether this time they can threaten another big teams.

I'm not entirely surprised that Denmark has been doing very good youth work for many years. In the past, there were always promising talents who somehow didn't make the breakthrough. In the meantime, however, there are many good young players who play in the top European leagues, even they are not the absolute stars, they form a very good team. Denmark can provide a few surprises.

Which Exchanges support XYM now?

The "timeless" plan of Poloniex does not feel good ...     What might be the reason behind that delay?

KuCoin and Gate.io are the biggest available at the moment. More to follow, among other things, Binance. If you want to trade, I would currently recommend KuCoin.

ProximaX is the REAL NEM 2.0  Cool

1583  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Suche Trading-Programmiersprache/Programm on: March 28, 2021, 06:21:22 PM

Either the thread creator has no idea at all or he is a troll. In the Bitcoin Discussion Forum he made another post very similar to this one, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5326499.msg56649532#msg56649532
I tend to say he is a troll, so do not feed him.

If You Say against me Something bring Up some facts
If You just making me down then good luck for u
Bring some poiknts out
Otherwise Don't talk

Well, if you would create only one thread you would have noticed that I have answered you already here.
As said, if you use stable coins you trust directly that the issuer really holds the dollar amount. These are all unregulated providers (with some exception, Coinbase is semi-regulated). The system as stable coins are currently set up invites abuse by the operator. Just look at the history of USDT and you know everything.

And now I stop feeding the troll.
1585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser: Now users can earn Basic Attention Token (BAT) for viewing ads on: March 28, 2021, 04:04:50 PM
Brave browser is planning to launch its own search engine called Brave Search.

Official blog- https://brave.com/brave-search/

The search engine will be based on technology from Cliqz, a German startup that previously owned a major media company in Germany and has now sold to Brave. I had used Clickz in the past because it promised not to collect data and to weight search results based only on browser history. However, compared to Google and DuckDuckGo, the results were not very satisfactory for me. I hope Brave can develop the search technology so that the results are better, then I would give the search a second chance.

Edit: Name was Cliqz, not Clickz

1587  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: March 26, 2021, 10:30:33 AM
A higher inflow of funds in to the cryptocurrency sector may not be beneficial for the economy in general. Because at least some of that amount may be diverted from the stock market and that will create issues for the listed companies. And this is also one of the reasons why the governments discourage investment with "store of value" assets such as gold and silver.

So for crypto to negatively impact the stock market and thus undermine funding for companies and ventures, I think is very far-fetched. On the one hand, the stock market is at a very high level and there are massive exaggerations in many places. That means there is enough money. On the other hand, the central banks are providing enormous support. In some countries, such as Japan, the central bank even buys ETFs, in Switzerland even directly shares, with money that was created out of nothing. A recent study shows that a large part of the aid money in the U.S. flows into the stock market (and probably also into the crypto market). I think one reason why we are not seeing very high inflation at the moment is that people are investing their leftover money less in consumption and more in the financial markets. If that reverses, we will see much higher inflation.
1588  Economy / Economics / Re: Over the Past 300 Years, No Fiat Money Has Escaped Going to 0 on: March 26, 2021, 10:19:24 AM
Aren't you forgetting about the British Pound? It lost a lot of value over the year but I don't think it ever went to 0.

Even if we changed it to 99% of fiat money crashes every 300 years, does it mean we have to wait for it to happen? The Lira is dying as we speak but it won't make people lose everything if they get rid of it and invest.

Fair point. This piqued my interest and I realized for the first time that the British pound has been around since 1209. On Statista there is a statistic about how the value of the pound has changed from then to now.

Source: https://www.statista.com/statistics/1031884/value-pound-sterling-since/

The value is indeed close to zero, but probably not quite zero. Interestingly, there was even a period in the late Middle Ages when the pound remained very stable for over 300 years.

1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with high fees on: March 26, 2021, 10:09:51 AM
I feel safe only if I use stable coins When the money is in btc I Can't sleep.

Oh boy, you'd better find out how StableCoins work first. You are completely relying on a provider that promises to reflect the number of dollars deposited in the number of stable coins issued. But if you look at the history of Tether (USDT) alone, it is far from certain that they do. Stable coins are not suited for holding money in the medium and long term, but only as a short term means of trading. Hold your money either in fiat or crypto but not in stable coins.

And please remove this thread of you https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5326361.0
1591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbooks often offer different odds for the same type of bet on: March 24, 2021, 05:35:01 PM
Here is a piece of information that many of you have probably noticed. But if you aren't that much into betting on sports, you might not know about it.
If you bet on football/soccer, you know that there is a type of bet called Double Chance. In such a selection two outcomes of the match result in a win of your bet.

-snip-

I bet almost only on double chance because they are by far the most profitable bets if you choose the right matches. I have bet whole normal years and rarely achieved a win rate of 50% (mostly somewhere between 35-45%). Now I use almost only double chance bets and my win rate increased to 52-58%, which with the right money management strategy has made me profitable in the medium and long term. Although I have recommended this strategy again and again here, it is generally a mystery to me why so few bettors know about it.
1592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 24, 2021, 05:29:44 PM
Or we can see a Draw between these two clashing teams because both teams will definitely not allow the other to be victorious.

For a neutral spectator, a draw or a win by Leipzig would be welcome, as it keeps the league exciting. Should Bayern win, they would have a 7-point lead with 7 games left to play. Then Bayern would be as good as Bundesliga champion. Leipzig has the advantage that they can concentrate completely on the league (with the exception of the German Cup), while Bayern has to prepare for PSG in the CL. Leipzig could have as chances to win if they have a good day.
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: March 23, 2021, 11:19:06 AM
is there an info on how much XYM is held on Binance?

As far as I know there is no official info. Since Binance uses one XEM deposit address for all accounts (the assignment happens on the basis of the provided message), I would assume they also use one XYM address. Based on the richlist I would say that one of the top 3 addresses belongs to Binance and therefore you can estimate how many XYM are on Binance.

1595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: March 22, 2021, 06:50:30 PM

As for the exchanges not sure how much influence the NEM group has in the distribution process. I mean Poloniex has never even managed to implement the new fee model for XEM withdrawals wasting 100+ XEM for each transaction.

WHAT are you talking about?
You say poloniex has 100xem fee to withdraw?
If so, this is a scam and they are scamming people of their money.
It costs about 1.25 xem to send a transaction on NEM network
maybe max 1.5 if a message is included in the transaction.

According to withdrawalfees.com, Poloniex has 15 XEM withdrawal fee. He probably meant HitBTC which has a withdrawal fee of 102 XEM. However, HitBTC generally has very high fees for the vast majority of altcoins. I have long wondered who voluntarily trades there.

Can you help me how to get my XYM? When I choose Nem Wallet Services and Symbol Opt In, systems writes that: "Opt In has finished, please update your wallet to get the latest details"....

Did you do Opt-In before snapshot? If so, just download the Symbol wallet from https://github.com/nemgrouplimited/symbol-desktop-wallet/releases and import your wallet key.
1596  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: March 22, 2021, 02:01:54 PM
I'm glad that pessimistic predictions of some "experts" regarding the crash of the world economy have not materialized.

Well.. global economy hasn't crashed, but I can't say that it is in really good health either. You can't solely rely on the Dow Jones Index and the other stock indices as a parameter for the economic resurgence. The stock market only deals with publicly listed companies and excludes the small and medium sized enterprises. Some of the sectors, such as tourism, hospitality and aviation are in death bed right now. 6 more months of the pandemic would spell doom for them.

I just checked the aviation part, and it looks like, at least for some of them, this is not the case.

-snip-

From the graphs above it doesn't look like the companies are in a bad shape currently.

Not trying to say that COVID-19 hasn't impacted the world economy. I'm just saying that the economy turned out to be more resilient than some analysts thought.

Share prices of airlines do not accurately reflect the current situation. The balance sheets do, however, and they are gloomy. The fact that share prices still look so good is mainly due to cheap money and the hope that the pandemic will soon be over, which I doubt. Airlines still have 80-90% fewer passengers than they had in 2019.

Awesome breaking news!

According to German newspaper Bild, Xabi Alonso will become coach of Gladbach next season. The contract negotiations are at an advanced stage and are as good as ready to be signed.  The current Gladbach coach Rose will move to Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.

1599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 21, 2021, 04:47:53 PM
Barcelona will take down Real Sociedad and get second spot again today. Atletico Madrid will also win, they have to win. You can't lose points against the bottom team Deportivo Alaves at this point of season. Sorry Real fans, you need to wait a little more for these teams to mess up something.
Check out Barcelona's history of away games against Real Sociedad. As the statistics show, it is very difficult for Barcelona to win, so Barcelona may have a difficult match today. Atletico Madrid will play with a lot of anger today as they were eliminated from the Champions League, I guess they should win the match.

The statistics is one thing, the trend is another. Barca has a strong uptrend in the league. With a win against San Sebastian, Barca can close to within two points of Atletico and overtake Real if Atletico loses to Alaves, otherwise it's 5 points, which is catchable with 10 games left. Barca has been eliminated from the Champions Leauge and can now fully concentrate on the league. I expect Barca to win today.
1600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: insane fees on eth (uniswap) on: March 21, 2021, 12:28:02 PM
Recently i have done tx on uniswap. The total fees cost goes 50-80USD. noramlly compare to binance smart chain its huge.

anyway there is "Approve" and "swap" . each there are charging. why there are two things , means approve and swap,

there need to eth 2.0 or BSC needy to replacement this insane network fees... I really fedup

You can not compare the ETH network with BSC network.

I agree with you, ETH desperately needs huge improvements in scalability. But these will not be really achieved with ETH 2.0. The fees will drop a little, but still remain comparatively high, so the issue of high fees will remain for a while longer.
