1561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 03, 2021, 07:01:16 PM
Bavarians just proved today what we already new, that the title will stay in Munich
it was not easy, but it was expected in the end, and that is all that matters for betting

I don't think the championship has been decided yet, although it was a unique chance for Leipzig that they missed today. Bayern is now seven points ahead with seven matches to go. Unfortunately I didn't see the match and I can't say if Bayern was so strong or Leipzig just didn't perform well enough to become champions.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: April 03, 2021, 06:27:49 PM
Symbol (XYM) can be traded on Binance on 14 April 2021. It is my guess. It takes Binance too much time to allocate Symbol to NEM holders and the same long time to list Symbol on exchange for trading.

Just my guess from what I see in Binance wallet and information about the day they will allow users to withdraw Symbol. They can change their plan any time.

Binance announced weeks before the snapshot that the token will not be tradable before mid April. Anyone complaining now might want to read Binance's announcement before leaving the tokens on Binance for the snapshot. Everyone should have just done the opt-in in the wallet, then the XYM would have been available on March 15 and one could have sold them.
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 03, 2021, 06:05:55 PM
One of the reasons why binance smart chain becomes this big right now is because ethereum gas fee is very high and this force some projects to switch to BSC but what do you think will happen once ethereum gas fee goes lower in near few months? Will BSC faced same fate as binance DEX? Or BSC will remain the better option over ethereum?

It will not happen because the BSC chain is not fully decentralized. The entire chain is under control of Binance and the nodes are run by 3rd parties which are controlled by Binance. A complete switch to the Binance Chain would mean for a project or company to be in the clutches of Binance which is an business risk.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: April 03, 2021, 05:55:19 PM
Germany, on the other hand, lost to a small team, North Macedonia. No one expected such a bad performance from them. I lost the bet in this match.

I won't bet on Germany's matches as long as Joachim Low is still coach. With his tactics, the matches have become so hard to predict. He should be replaced before the European Championship. He has passed his zenith. For me, he is the Angela Merkel of German football: complete overconfidence and bad timing when to step down.
1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 03, 2021, 05:27:10 PM

Well every matches for Bayern and Leipzig right now is very essential in winning, in my opinion, and both teams will surely do whatever it takes for them to make a good match tomorrow, Right now I think that the odds on stake.com RB Leipzig is 2.80 Draw 3.65 FC Bayern 2.42 making it in favor of Bayern, I should make a bet for Bayern but I am still doubting it could be a Draw game.

When I see the odds, I regret to not bet on a victory of Bayern. I understand that the odds have deteriorated after Lewandowski got injured, but odds of 2.42 for a Bayern win haven't been there for a long time.
1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NFT bring any change in crypto gambling industry? on: April 02, 2021, 10:17:44 AM
Exactly but before who are the people that will invest in NFT related to gambling, what shall be the application of it.
But just as the guy who bought beeple's nft, if there is a really rich person that just wants to show support to the community, he might do it.

The point is, the hype cycles are getting shorter and shorter. DeFi is almost over and NFT is near its high or already slightly above it. In the high phase, such tokens are then offered for all possible applications, whether it makes sense or not.
1567  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcrypt.io - Decentralized Crypto Sports Betting & Casino (NO KYC) ⚽️♠️🎰 on: April 02, 2021, 10:14:17 AM
Since I've always had issues with centralized betting platforms/providers in the past, I'm excited about the new decentralized service. There have also been a few attempts by developers in the past, all of which have failed as far as I know.

I would just like to know a bit more about the technology used. For example, what blockchain was used and does the betting data import run through Oracles?
1568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Symbol (XYM)? on: April 02, 2021, 10:11:35 AM
One should perhaps mention what Symbol is. Symbol is basically NEM 2.0. Years of work have gone into the new core engine of NEM, called Catapult. The development was delayed for a long time and postponed many times, and it was planned to incorporate these developments into the NEM project (XEM). At some point it was realized that this technology was no longer compatible with the original NEM code, and in addition to that, they decided to develop the core engine in C++, while NEM is written in Java. So they decided to make a new project out of it, called Symbol (XYM). In principle Symbol can do everything NEM Chain can do, plus some essential new things more.
1569  Economy / Speculation / Re: JPMorgan sets Bitcoin Target to $130K Predicting Strong Institutional adop. on: April 02, 2021, 10:07:07 AM
2-they do not consider that in a digital economy, it is easier to acquire and hold Bitcoin than it is to buy physical gold. Therefore bitcoin has a market value potential that can exceed gold many times over.
Fair point but... gold is used not only as safe haven but also in jewellery, Electronics.

Yes, but only to a small extent. In the Western world, gold is predominantly used as an asset hedge. In countries like India or China, it's a bit different, but even if demand for gold jewelry were to collapse, that wouldn't affect the price of gold that much at the moment.

JP-Morgan's arguments are understandable, even if I am fundamentally skeptical of the bank.
1570  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela Planning New 100,000-Bolivar Bills Worth Just $0.23 on: April 02, 2021, 10:04:14 AM
As Venezuelan, I call tell you that people don't even use local currecy banknote here anymore.  Sad
Is the inflation there still that bad? I looked at the Internet and saw that it is slowly stabilizing or is it just a fake story. Venezuela was a prosperous country back when the prices of oil were still good and I thought that they were ready when the oil prices were to go down.

The country recently introduced the 1 million Bolivar bank note worth around $0.52. According to Reuters, the inflation rate was 2.7% in January, so if you consider a stable monthly inflation rate, then the extrapolated inflation rate is currently 32%. Compared to previous years, this is low, but still extremely high, and no one really knows if the data is not manipulated in some way.

1572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the high gas fee make the altcoin make less volatile from bounty hunters on: March 31, 2021, 02:13:53 PM
A few years back people always said bounty hunters were responsible for some alts crashing because whenever they got paid their bounty tokens they cashed in for eth or btc forcing price to go down sometimes lower than ico price.

Now with current high transaction fees we experiencing sending tokens of a value of $10 or so is expensive as this could cost you twice the value of your reward which has seen less micro transactions of erc20 tokens, with this development is the high transaction fee good for crypto as micro transactions have reduced on the ethereum blockchain?

No, the fees are not responsible for this. The situation is quite different from 2017/2018.

Back then, everything that somehow sounded new was pumped and bought. There are dozens of ICO projects from back then that raised 100+ million that don't even exist today.

It wasn't because bounty hunters dumped their stakes, but because the projects were massively overvalued and doomed from the start by their idea.

If you look at it that way, the bounty hunters were the smart ones in retrospect, because they sold immediately, and the ICO investors are still sitting on their worthless stakes today.
1573  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would it be wise to use domestic and foreign exchanges separately? on: March 31, 2021, 02:07:39 PM
I am trading cryptocurrency in Korea, and I am using two different exchange platforms: a exchange called Dove Wallet and Binance, due to liquidity and also a price difference called Kimchi Premium. Is it common to use two or more exchanges?

I know people which use 20+ exchanges, just to be able to trade most part of existing coins Cheesy

It depends on what you are trading. If you are just trading Bitcoin and Ethereum, you are actually fine with one big exchange with good liquidity. If you trade many altcoins then you would be required to use more exchanges.
1574  Economy / Economics / Re: A Decentralized Roadmap To Compete With Elon Musk/Tesla: The Open Source Car on: March 31, 2021, 02:04:15 PM
First, a main part of modern car software is based on open source. Almost all, including Tesla, using Linux as base system. Also they use a ton of other open source libraries. It is always good to have an open source alternative, also to be able to shape the development to a certain degree. You can take the development of operating systems as an analogy. There are still Windows and MacOS, although there is Linux.
1575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 31, 2021, 12:35:37 PM
I'm not sure that England can easily beat Poland... In any case, I would not bet on England to win, although they are the favorite in this match!
Poland is without their main striker Lewandowski so that is a big hit for them. Head to head is also firmly on England side, they never lost against Poland and they have 4 wins from last 6 games. Should be enough to push them over the line, especially on home turf.

I don't think it changes much for the Polish team. With England they have an opponent in the group that they wouldn't have caught even with Lewandowski and the other teams are too weak so that they should dominate them even without Lewandowski. Hungary is the only serious competitor. Albania, San Marino and Andorra are far too weak.
1576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 31, 2021, 12:30:32 PM
Leipzig is making a big impressions in the competition so far. their backlog to Bayern Munch is acceptable. there are still many matches to follow. and because they already terminated in the Champions League they might get hungry to win the title in the Bundesliga

It would be very interesting to see them challenge Bayern for the Bundesliga title this season and eventually win it. Exiting the Champions League should given them the required time and focus that they need. They are also out of other major competitions if I'm not mistaken too.. It would be nice to see a different win it this season. Tired of seeing Bayern as champions season after seasons. Leipzig has a good chance at winning it and I really think they should.

Meanwhile, I think Leipzig has a serious chance to win the Bundesliga championship. After Lewandowski's injury last week, the top striker and top scorer is no longer available. Without Lewandowski, Bayern would currently only be 4th in the table (if you subtract his goals and assists). The other strikers can not compensate him in my opinion, neither Gnabry, nor Cupo-Moting, nor Müller. I'm curious how the Bayern lineup will look in the next match.
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: March 31, 2021, 12:26:28 PM
Before entry of Elon mask into Dogecoin it was quite difficult that Dogecoin can show such type of move .But now I think that any other Rumors can push its price to its new all time High.
Yes, Dogecoin can only move when there are outside rumors or influence from certain people in this world, because previously Dogecoin did not experience significant movements as seen earlier this year, even if there were only a few.

As already described, one factor that keeps the Dogecoin price rising is the hype and a figurehead like Elon Musk. However, one factor I haven't read here yet that argues for a further rising price is Dogecoin's high inflation. Currently it is around 5.3%, which is quite high and speaks against larger price increases in the future.
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges With Lots of Scam Coins on: March 31, 2021, 12:22:31 PM
Besides UNISWAP and PANCAKESWAP, what else exchanges have plenty of scam coins?

What are the scam coins there? So everybody can take note.

What is your defintion of a scam coin? You can not compare decentralized and centralized exchanges because centralized exchanges do determine themself which coins are listed/traded on their platform while decentralized exchanges do usually not. You can trade there all colored coins which exist on a specific blockchain plattform like Ethererum.

So, you should ask for most scam coins on centralized exchanges. My answer: HitBTC

1580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who where how much withdrew from no deposit on: March 29, 2021, 03:14:49 PM
That it what happened to me. I played at an online Bitcoin casino (Betstreak, which no longer exists) a few years ago with a free bonus for signing up. Although the wager requirement was 200 and I had only played with the free bonus, I had a lucky streak and had ended up winning almost 1.2 BTC (free bonus was 0.01 BTC). During the payout I suddenly had to perform a KYC. After I did that, I was accused of irregularities with my account and it was closed. They never responded to my support messages again.
