2861  Economy / Reputation / Re: Some Bounty Hunter work like robot never read bounty rules just working a blind on: April 20, 2021, 10:28:13 AM
Just private message the OP of the bounty thread and lock it if there are no more updates to be done.

Farming/bot accounts are likely, but we're not sure if these users you mentioned are just those who don't read at all and just proceed with their bounty reports.
2862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin last till infinity on: April 20, 2021, 07:19:04 AM
~

I am not here to criticize what you said as well, however Bitcoin cannot be stopped by any means actually OP.
Even if government bans it, people still have the control to transfer it through p2p transaction or even use VPNs when ISP block each trading site.

People seeing bitcoin as scam is just up to them, but it is not gonna stop it.
2863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing how many negative stories about BTC have come out today without a source on: April 20, 2021, 07:16:08 AM
Amazing how many negative stories about #bitcoin have come out today without a single named source
https://twitter.com/scottmelker/status/1383815853590736897

Time to buy cheap Wink

Well it is the reaction of the investors that matters in the end.
One business would destroy other to dominate the market. I see as well by the way that you directly quoted the tweet, so yeah.
Remember how many celebrities talk crap about Bitcoin back then? They're just saying what they think that they don't want but still people get driven by them.
2864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 20, 2021, 07:13:58 AM
Well thing is that nobody knows as well how long should we wait.
Nobody knows what is in the mind of the investors and even whales if they would even try to take the opportunity or just completely get out of crypto at all, unless someone has the proper statistics on that kind of matter or topic.
Years is a quite a long time actually, OP.
2865  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling down. Is it the end for it? on: April 20, 2021, 06:32:06 AM
Not really "end of bullrun".
Are you not that used to price correction, OP?
Although I won't based mainly on how the price will move, but almost everytime it happens all the time that Bitcoin corrects before it prepares for another breach.
2866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you "swap" your crypto for a Tesla? on: April 19, 2021, 07:41:19 PM
Not that really into cars that much, and any transportation for me would already do, like I don't even want to brag about it if I can buy one.
I would hodl probably my BTC and not think of just buying it all to something that worth millions.
There are better things I could spend my BTC at.
2867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell if you have needs for funds, but BUY BACK. on: April 19, 2021, 07:39:45 PM
~
Depends.
Sometimes you just got really sell especially on newer tokens these days, like I never heard anything new here in Altcoin Discussion of possibly the next coin that could be great for hodling aside from all those in the toppers.
If you know your coin would be dumped by investors when it was still on sale and by some bounty hunters, you got no choice but to take while it is still in its profitable price.
2868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk please stop messing up the crypto market on: April 19, 2021, 02:51:12 PM
~
Well in the end, nobody can tell what a celebrity would do or tweet.
How about let's say to other investors to stop being messed by these celebrities just because a celebrity claims X would go to moon?
That's the problem to many investors. They believe that celebrities doesn't do any crap that is wrong and they're driven by that kind of mindset.
2869  Economy / Speculation / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: April 19, 2021, 02:48:08 PM
Well it is an opportunity to buy, not an opportunity to panic, people.
Regardless just hodl, everyone.
Don't let whales take your money just because you think the market doesn't go into your favor.
2870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Google on: April 19, 2021, 11:29:20 AM
Wait and see and it will surely surpass that 1.5 trillion market cap of Google.
Soon another thread will ask "Bitcoin vs Apple" through market cap as well.
In the end, we can't compare the two just by what is better through market cap.
2871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LOONG TIME, NO SEE! on: April 19, 2021, 11:26:06 AM
Expect it like we're getting a lot of price surge lately as well as correction concurrently. I can even recall back in 2017 when the ATH was 20k and my sent BTC was just like $10 and the tx fee I paid was double the amount of what I sent which was really insane.
Newbie mistake, I still did it instead of waiting. Not gonna be surprised as that was an online wallet I used. Cheesy
2872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM in a gas station on: April 19, 2021, 11:22:08 AM
~
I remember a thread made by "The Pharmacist".
There are numbers of ATMs that don't need KYC verification as well.
Here in my country, I am not sure if those rare ATMs I can see in the metropolitan area even require KYC, but I am pretty sure they are because government here is aware that cryptos are being used for scams by different people.
2873  Economy / Speculation / Re: If we enter a bear market how long it will last? on: April 19, 2021, 11:19:57 AM
Can't based on the patterns that the market did before as future speculation. It is not always 100% guarantee to happen again.
There could cycle or something, but still it depends on like what really happens right now.
2874  Other / Meta / Re: wtf? I don't scammer on: April 18, 2021, 07:09:35 PM
I thought the tag was fresh, but then I realized it took almost 3 years for OP to notice the tag.

@OP, you probably didn't scam but you're selling accounts which is frowned upon in here.

~

Thing is, if most "bought" accounts end up with this kind of activity, why don't we just ban them of happening here? I know we can't ban them from being sold in other places of the internet, I just dont' think that it's good for the forum to have this economy being promoted right here in our own "home". Perhaps we do let it happen here so that we have a closed control and perhaps we could trace what accounts where bought and terminate them? A kind of "squad" that personifies potential buyers just to grab the account name and give them to mods so that they can ban / cancel it (This is actually giving me some ideas  Cool?

~

It would just end up little to nothing even if they banned those accounts, because these accounts sellers don't care about the accounts being sold at all. Their end goal is just to earn $$$ or BTC. It is their throwaway account in the end. They don't care if it is already tagged or banned/nuked. It is either sale or scam for them, and they don't care either of the two.

We can't do the same for the account sellers as well, because probably they'll just create new account and do it again just like why are scams not moderated.
2875  Economy / Reputation / Re: Had a thought. Probably will not work but it's an idea on: April 18, 2021, 10:35:44 AM

Well just by adding "site:bitcointalk.org" to keywords would do it easier to find Scam Accusations of a certain casino or projects.

To be more accurate you can also use "site:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0" to make google show results only from the Scam Accusation board.

And by using this along with your keyword, these are what Google gave me:

2876  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading strategies on: April 18, 2021, 07:28:42 AM
Great advice there, OP.
Though I would like to ask on what "handful" of altcoins are you really looking into, like what top coins do you mostly trade BTC with? ETH? BNB?
Or to be at least precise, top 10?

2878  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first success story trading crypto on: April 17, 2021, 07:44:19 PM
Well I am glad that you're having a good time in here as well, OP aside from just learning because that kind of amount is like an insane amount already for me when I invest it here from my own local currency.
Anyways, congrats as always, OP. Smiley
2879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not panic sell when there is dump on: April 17, 2021, 07:41:17 PM
No you're not, OP.
Actually it is common bad habit actually whenever their "hyped" coins or like whale dumps, they will do a panic sell along with everyone, but then whales would just hunt their sold coins turning it into their favor for future purposes.
2880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: April 17, 2021, 07:36:01 PM
There is too much leverage and too much potential profits in crypto space today which makes me feel like I'm reliving the 2017/2018 era once again, forget the big institutions investing money on crypto, those who bought at 4000$ per BTC are already millionaires/billionaires, you can't expect them not to take profit, be prepared
How about those who invested before that era, OP?
Like I remember people eyeing on below 2 digits and they'll buy that day.
How many of them could be dumping right now? Maybe most of them are locked out of their wallets by now. Cheesy
