Is there any crypto project that can transacts without the internet? I heard there was one two years ago I couldn't remember the name again but why isn't such project doing so well today? If the internet goes down in future this type of project will be useful don't you think?
Not that I can remember lately. It still needs to be recorded to the blockchain, so I am not sure how such transaction can be possible to go through without an internet. That is one of the weaknesses of cryptocurrencies to be honest, but hey internet becomes like a basic necessity now these days as mostly everything are being done digital especially during pandemic. It is a bit absurd to still think about the possible projects that still functions without internet, but it is going to be a good side feature though.

Obviously, it is a treat for those looking to invest or have yet to start in their first buy of whatever coin it is, hopefully Bitcoin though. Somehow I recall the bearish market encounter back in 2018, when Bitcoin was like down to 3k from 7k. Surely many people had panicked, but for me it was plenty of opportunity to buy more. If I just expected it to had surged to this price right now, I could have bought a 1 whole coin.

Yes, as what o_e_l_e_o said. For other platforms, I cannot suggest any other platforms unless you reside in Philippines then you can use Coins PH to cash in your money and turn it into Bitcoin. Coinbase is okay, but as previously advised, if you are going to hold it, consider a desktop or hardware wallet if you are really going to keep your Bitcoins.

Well Axie is getting hyped a lot here in my country. For sure people would look for other NFT games to find opportunity to earn from. There has been a lot of games being explored by my colleagues, but I am just a meh for these because I do not want to bother investing to another platform. I am all just a Bitcoin. I do not really care right now about any other hypes, but I believe this hype for NFTs will prolong even further.

From the bullish market right now, I cannot call that many traders would even call patience in their end. Maybe some experienced ones, but not for all. Many would kind of be selling right now tbh. 55k rise of Bitcoin is something.

~ First to The Pharmacist: Brainboss does not have access to funds. You can see that at present it is different from the case you comment on Lutpin. It is Lightlord who makes the payments.
Yeah, I'm not holding CCB accountable for any of this. It's all on lightlord. Doesn't he send the funds to CCB to pay out the participants, though? That's the way other campaigns work. Maybe I didn't read deeply enough into this thread, but I thought I read all the pertinent facts. No, actually After the management of the campaign was transferred to CCB, it was LL that was sending payments now since, while before it was Hhampuz that both manages the campaign while also processing the payments. Not sure why though

You can use the common sites used to archive certain webpages like. https://archive.is/ It does not save it as a PDF though, but you can use a third-party Chrome extension to screenshot that archived webpage and save it as a PDF. One that I usually use is GoFullPage.
See this thread made by dkbit98 for more options: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5224177

CB will pause the campaign after this current round, in case that the previous rounds were not processed/paid yet which is likely. It is the best thing to do for now. Lightlord hasn't been active for 10days now, last active was on the 26th so that means he hasn't been seeing all the messages I have been sending since last 10days. Hopefully when he comes online he sees the message but if this continues until this rounds end that means I'll have to pause campaign until all previous payment are processed.

If I recall correctly, I also have two unpaid rounds when I left the campaign. Edit: It was Round 137 and Round 138.

Im a long time in crypto and NFTs took over really fast.. do you guys think the hype will keep going? Since new NFT platforms appear every day.
I don’t think NFTS are going to fade away, although there is a possibility that another trend will come out in the future and people will start hyping that one too when it comes. But that doesn’t mean there is going to be an end to NFT, it’s still going to be around and will continue to advance and get better than the way we have seen it now. ~ Who knows? A lot of games here in my country just dropped one by one and it all started out from Axie Infinity hype. The games put that kind of interactivity and entertainment where it made people enjoy playing it while in their minds knowing that they are going to earn by just "grinding". Sad to hear that some NFT prices just dropped and a lot of people move from games to games a lot.

I would bid good luck on that goal, OP. I do not have the experience in being a CM, but I recall a thread discussing that it is not what you think that it earns billions, so if you are expecting to be like a billionaire after managing one I would advise you to think twice about your goal. Merits would just go naturally, as long as you are here for the "right" reason.

Imagine after gathering all the coins you can afford to gather and no one can access your wallet should in case something terrible occurs will the investment still worth all the time and effort devoted to acquire them?
I was thinking of this lately, but then I remembered that I told one of my family member that I written something in a paper in my work desk and I just told them that they should not touch it at any point as it contains something "critical". If one day that something terrible happens to me, I noted it that they can use the coins and just follow the instruction. I provided a link for them to learn the basic of how to move that coin around in case that they needed it.

Mentor? Not at all times, OP. There are self-taught traders as well and I would count myself as one, but that experience was from long time ago. I only watch Youtube videos for it and it is quite enough for me to learn the ropes. It might be hard than having network, but some just are not lucky having connections to other people.
On the side note, I also learned programming through crash courses in Youtube and I was able to build a website for myself.

I recall when merit was just like "freshly" implemented back in 2018, and Meta was like under attack with those "merit fishing" thread like just generic thoughts of newbies to merit. From the past months, from what I observed, merit fishers are now attacking this board with "yet another plagiarism" or "yet another merit" thread.

It is either the project was marketed badly, or the "team" is not legitimate at all. Even with such active users, if those numbers are not going to reach the global, it is limiting itself to get the potential investors as imagine how many crypto holders are now there around the world.

I have seen there whatever has a huge upside also has a huge downside. This is the case with crypto currency, including bitcoin.
Can we point out the risks that one faces in investing crypto assets based on these:
1. As a retail investor
2. As an asset manager (hedge fund business)
3. As a trader.
As mk4 said, it is always going to point out to a single factor which is the unstable price. For traders, it is more of technical stuff depending on how s/he is responsible to his/er own fund. It would be the hacks that happens in exchanges and one worth mentioning under those hacks is the MITM or Man In The Middle attack. It is not directly price-wise risks, but you know what since you are generally talking about all the risks I just put it in here as well.

What is your fancy to be taught? Reading technical stuffs or have somebody demonstrating you how to trade in a video? It is up to you in the end. In my end, I learned day trading in Youtube, just maybe the tools and indicators used as I did not make me any income anyway. There are plenty of Youtubers out there doing a crash course as well. Just do not buy courses for now, if you are still new to trading though.

Just keep reading around the forum, OP. As what CryptopreneurBrainboss said, there are "unwritten rules". It will not lead you to a ban, but it could severely hurt your reputation and you never wanted that to happen to you of course. Even if you are not into trading stuffs around here, it might affect on how others will see you here.

I do not feel the "need", because surely the government will take regulations after that legalization and I do not want government to ever touch, know nor see the Bitcoins I am holding. Making it illegal would just make the usual transactions hard, since I might need other people around me to either trade or pay something to them. What do you mean by "improving" the country though? I do not have that sight that Bitcoin alone would just make an entire nation "better", if it is a poverty that we are talking about.

Nope, not yet. It is slow indeed in my end, but I do not mind since this is just like an icing on the cake for me anyway. I might even forgot that I am over the minimum credits for cashout one day. CD is available in my country, but the CD server seems to be full at all times and I am always stuck in queue. It is okay though. I live in a third world country, so I am not that surprised that it is not in-demand just yet. As of writing this, I still own 6200 credits.
