I have a line of credit with paypal.
six months no interest.
Thus I can buy btc with six months to pay.
This would sound really good, but I'm convinced that they've probably written it into their terms, and conditions. This would be huge for a lot of people if people are particularly bullish in the short term. Sounds a little to good to be true, for them to allow though. You could effectively purchase a large amount of Bitcoin which you wouldn't ordinarily be able to afford (at least all at once) with no interest until 6 months, then if Bitcoin goes higher at any point, you could instantly sell it making up what you paid, and more without any money leaving your Paypal account.

It's more like a move to earn as much money as possible while the market is still bullish.
Yeah, Bitcoin is probably getting the most media coverage as well as several infulencers now promoting either Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies. While this isn't particularly useful in the long run, its definitely increasing the amount of people who are investing in Bitcoin, and while its good news that Paypal now seem very pro Bitcoin, and want a slice of the pie that doesn't mean its going to be a permanent addition, and could easily be removed once this initial hype dies down. The other advantage I see, and it's a small one, are those people who want to buy crypto though Coinbase but do not want to give them their banking information. Yes it costs you a bit, but unless they changed something you are still getting a buffer that Coinbase never sees your banking information. Also, if you sell on eBay and have funds sitting in your PP account you can now get BTC without moving it to your bank 1st so that is good. -Dave
I'm not all that familar with Paypal I'll be honest. However, wouldn't the invoice which has been generated still have the card number that was used. As far as I know, Paypal has to have a bank card linked to it, which displays account number, and card holder name. So, Coinbase would still have access to that information as a invoice would need to be created.

So basically it's someone who has no idea what their taking about, but because of their skils tits people want to have whatever they have?
If it wasn't obvious yet: I don't like "social media" and all weird stuff they come up with.
Seriously, its actually getting annoying to see them spout nonsense, that they clearly don't understand, and haven't even given it a second thought about researching what they are promoting. I guess that's the way of the world with social media, get famous people with a large following, and promote something that's not even relevant to their audience. I do feel there are some "infulencers" which are promoting it off their own back, because they've personally invested in it, but even then this should probably be considered market manipulation, and its them trying to benefit their investment rather than actually believing in it.

The same goes here while watching Adesanya's youtube channel he is never afraid of taking Vettori again In fact I think he is calculating everything that he needs to do on June the date of the fight, and yes I think that Marvin Vettori really improves but not that much that Adesanya is not really that impress because like Vettori Israel Adesanya had improved as well, and many of his opponents back then really underestimate the way he fights, Whittaker will have to wait because the first rematch is against Vettori.
On the contrary, Whittaker definitely has what it takes to beat Adesanya, and I'd be interested in seeing how much of a difference in is in their second fight. I feel that Adesanya hasn't vastly improved recently, while the fighters around him such as Whittaker are really stepping up their game. I think Adesanya wins on a decision vs Vettori, as I think Vettori will be able to keep safe enough due to his wrestling skills, whenever he's in trouble try to shoot for the legs. Although, Adesanya does have some of the best takedown defense in the division. I do think fighters will have watched Izzy's last fight though, and taken a few hints that you shouldn't be hesitate, and that he can be beaten, and matched in the stand up. Whittaker I think might actually take Adesanya this time around.

The great news is, privacy focused search engines such as Duck Duck Go are becoming much more usable than they were say, two years ago. Duck Duck Go is by far not perfect, but I've been using it as my primary search engine for well over 3 years. I've only ever had to resort to Google a few times, when a site specifically sends you through Google, or Duck Duck Go isn't yielding the search I need.
Although, I'm not quite sure why Google are not indexing older content correctly. I don't really understand the motives behind it. Newer information, doesn't mean its better than the old content. I'm guessing, as Google tries to serve the masses it will try, and provide relevant up to date information, as that's what users of their platform look for. This is probably especially important when concerning statistics. Although, I'd prefer to have them serve the entire history if possible, and just priorities newer content over old.

I understand the reasoning behind Whitaker taking his time to accept another shot at Adensanya, especially after that last brutal fight, but I can't pretend I'm not a little bit gutted as it means that it will likely get pushed back a few more months after the Adesanya VS Vettori fight. Depending on how much damage Adesanya takes, which I can't see being a awful lot, even if we was to lose.
I think Vettori has definitely improved, but I'm not convinced he has what it takes to beat Adesanya.

I'm new to this forum as well, but is not my first time on forums. My basics are check if there is a welcome/introduction group, which I've seen already that there is nothing like that in here, and is not mandatory like in others, and just don't be afraid of opening new threads. All the newbies, like you and me, are always afraid of asking things because they can look to silly.
But what is the most important for me, is to use the search bar to make sure that no one has asked before. Not doing this can be super tedius for the admins of this forum.
Seriously, go through most of the long term users here, and they would have asked "silly" questions once upon a time. They aren't silly though, questions are usually based on the users experience level, and thus basic questions, when you are new to any technology is expected. Its always best to search up whether your question has already been covered, but I understand sometimes as a learner you need to put the question into your own words, to fully understand it, and I sometimes wish users of the internet in general were more accepting of that fact. In universities, they encourage you to ask questions in your own word, we all have a different vocabulary, and what you might think you understand, you might actually be overseeing something, because of a technical term. Its so easily done with Cryptocurrencies too. So, although its definitely recommended you search your question up first, don't be afraid if you don't understand the explanations given. Its usually better to start a new thread, than to bump an old one, with a question that doesn't actually add much to the discussion itself.

Tommy is still relatively new though and hasn't fought anyone notable yet so maybe Jake will take the shot on this fight.
Yeah, this is the largest takeaway. Tommy is definitely known for his antics inside of love island more than his boxing career. As backed up by a few mentioning here that they hadn't known of him. Hes had a largely unimpressive, and uneventful boxing career. Mainly fighting journeyman, and having no real challenge put in front of him. I can see him being given a nice easy route to build up the hype. Although, Jake Paul is a perfect opportunity, and surely boxing promoters would jump at the chance. It would sell a lot, as it would be yet again UK vs USA, well mainly Everyone vs Jake, but they could at least sell that angle. Hopefully, I do think Tommy wins it convincingly, but at the end of the day this would be a good option for Jake I'd think. Tommy hasn't really been tested too much, so even us boxing fans don't really know his ceiling, I believe both are around the same height, they both have "celebrity" pasts which would draw in their fans from those. I don't know, just seems the best choice for Jake. Plus, I think if he looks at everyone else on the field, Tommy is probably the less tested out of all of them. He can't pick a lesser opponent than Askren, without at least getting a lot of stick. He has to show that hes at least trying to pick harder opponents, that have experience in boxing to keep up the hype. I say Jake Vs Fury. Make it happen.

Yeah, I was expecting him to retire after this fight anyway, but for anyone who's suffered a long term injury, one that people don't expect you to recover from. You try to do it to prove a point. I don't really particularly want to see him come back into the octagon, but hopefully he can stay involved inside the MMA space, since he has been a brilliant fighter for the UFC.
I think we might see him in a few of the fighters corners in the near future. I have no idea the length of time of recovery for a injury so horrific, but if my memory serves me correctly, hes estimated to be walking in 8 weeks. That's a long time, to be somewhat bed ridden though, as by walking I assume they mean still on crutches, and not actually walking with any sort of significant weight on the leg.
What a really unfortunate injury. Only happened 3 times in the UFC era I believe. Anderson being the most notable.

It looks like Elon Musk wants to test how easy was to sell a big amount of bitcoin, because if they weren't able to sell bitcoins they would be in big problems right now, so, that 10% sold from the tesla holdings was only an experiment, just to prove it was possible.
Now the question is, the $1.5B spend in BTC was from tesla, but how much does Elon musk invest from his pockets?. And should we consider this a market manipulation?
I'd assume he knows exactly how easy it was to sell Bitcoin. Tesla, and Elon are separate entities. Yeah, they are linked, but as far as I'm aware its considered a separate entity. In the UK we have limited companies, which are created to reduce the liability of the owner, and I'm assuming American businesses have a similar sort of system. Yeah, you should probably consider anything coming from the mouth of a billionaire as market manipulation. It doesn't mean that its accurate, but its something you should probably assume to a certain degree. He's successful because hes an incredible businessman. So, anything he says has the potential for personal gain.

True. I think we should kinda stop mass recommending paper wallets to literally everyone though. Creating a paper wallet sure is easy as heck, but creating a paper wallet correctly and securely most probably isn't especially for those who barely know anything about security. Hardware wallets are still the better sort of 'mass recommendation' option in my opinion.
I agree, its usually not a requirement for everyone. However, theoretically it is more secure to create a offline paper wallet, or a offline wallet than use something like a hardware wallet. Despite, them being pretty good, and pretty sound they still have a way of attack. Whereas, paper wallets, and offline wallets are only ever compromised through user mistakes, usually upon creating them or losing the credentials. So, although I do agree, it entirely depends on the needs of the person. If you are storing large amounts, then a offline could be the better solution. Its goal specific as with anything.

Just remember the most important rules, which are usually general etiquette across the internet. Don't get discouraged to post a thread if you don't know exactly where it belongs. That's why we have staff who will move threads for you. I'm not encouraging anyone to break the rules knowingly, but I don't newbies to feel overwhelmed, and that prevents them from posting. For minor issues, you'll learn as you go along, and become more experienced in using the forum.

I just saw the xray of the break from last week's fight. Was a very nasty break, and hopefully we get to see him back in the Octagon. I personally, think this might be a decent place to retire considering his age, but I have a feeling he'll want to prove it not only to himself, but others that he can recover from this, and come back fighting.
Its a massive mental block to get over once you've experienced a very rare injury like this though. Especially, since its something you use all the time.

As for the fluctuating value, well, while the value of other currencies frequently fluctuate as well(just far less violently), bitcoin fluctuates a lot with varying sizes of price movements because it being 11 years old is still really really young. It will take potentially multiple decades for something to be decently stable enough.
You would somewhat expect that the "violent" swings of Bitcoin are down to two reasons, one that you mentioned, its infancy compared to more stable currencies, but also a second option worth considering is that Bitcoin despite having a finite amount, is currently still generating Bitcoin, and due to the way they are generated, mined in blocks they are mined frequently, but also in chunks. So, instead of it having a steady flow of 1s, 2s or whatever it adjusts based on the difficulty, which in itself can create economic waves. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, and its the reason why day traders love the currency, but this is probably a contributing factor as well as the general outside view of Bitcoin, which due to its infancy, and complexity is probably influenced by news more than we would like to think.

If Masvidal can stay out of Usman's jab I think he could do very well in this fight. That's a big if though, Usman probably has one of the better jabs in the business, and you really saw it against Burns. Burns looked to have Usman a bit shell shocked, and suddenly he regained composure, and sat behind his jab. That's really when it all went down hill for burns.
I do think Masvidal has that unpredictability about him, and I think the odds are probably encouraging me to put some money on him.
As for the Rose vs Zhang. I haven't been particularly impressed with some of Rose's previous fights, and I think Zhang might actually put this one away before the bell.

He'll naturally get hype just because he's related to Tyson, but hes done semi decent. Personally, I don't think he's been given particularly challenging opponents, but I can't blame him for it. He's beat what's been put in front of him. I would like to think someone like him would easily put away Jake Paul though. So, it might not turn into an interesting fight for a neutral fan.

This. Bitcoin is basically unusable for small value transactions during times like now. It’s sad, but this is where our leaders have led us. You can use the Lightning network *if you can find someone else who uses it, but perhaps a better idea would be to pay the BTC out on your own platform so it can be converted and withdrawn using an altcoin that is still functional as a p2p currency (if your platform can offer that). That’s the only way to get around the BTC only payment rules on this forum while not completely destroying any incentive for participants.
Campaigns that pay less per post, could simply start paying in monthly installments instead of weekly. Most jobs pay on a monthly basis, so I've always found it a little weird that campaign managers that have been running a long term campaign continue to pay on a weekly basis as I would have thought it would be more conveniently, and slightly less time consuming to simply pay on a monthly basis.

Ignoring whether the project appeals to me, or what I think others might think of it, marketing is super important to any business, let alone a start up.
I hate to say it, because I like to encourage people as much as possible when starting a business, but you should only really start a business when you can afford it. You should have launched the business after you had gathered money for marketing. marketing is so important to a business, why do you think Social media is such a gold mine? Its not because of the random funny videos people post, but because businesses utilityse it for branding.

Rumours of Tommy Fury Vs Jake Paul which I'll be a little more interested in watching honestly. Hopefully not on Triller.... After having a night to sleep on it, I think this entire event was the biggest shit show I’ve ever seen. I enjoyed it a lot, but only because it was a train wreck that was unable to be looked away from. The announcers, the fighters, the ring girls, all totally clueless. Looked like everyone involved had fun though, except maybe the guy who elbowed himself in the nuts and tried to blame his opponent.
Being on more shit shows!
It was entertaining for how bad it was at times, but I still watched the UFC over it during the singing which seemed to go on for absolutely ages. It was almost a concert inbetween fights. I think they probably did a lot of PPVs, and this sort of format could become mainstream, but I'm not a huge fan of the format, and would prefer the UFC format, or traditional Sky Sports boxing events where its just fights, and promo.

I had a bit of a break from predicting for a while, but I'm looking to get some predictions out for the next event. I've had some shocking weeks, but the one time I didn't actually go into an in depth prediction I did fairly well. Question for you guys: MMA you don't see 10/1 odds easily. Aren't there any David Goliath match ups in any case? Like some kind of inter-division occasionals?
I'm talking out of my ass, I do realise...
The only chance you got to getting near those odds is by predicting the round, and method of KO. I quite like to bet on Heavyweights going the distance, as they often have the power to end a fight any time, they are usually priced quite well, and of course everyone knows that heavyweights tend to tire quickly, so it can be a decent outcome most of the time.
