Chelsea to beat Manchester Untied on the weekend probably by a 2+ goal margin, I can't see Manchester United scoring unless it's through a bit of Ronaldo magic. Liverpool to beat Southampton, going to put a bet on Salah, and Mane scoring with Liverpool scoring both halves. Arsenal probably going to beat Newcastle, I'll go for a 2-0. I'm also fancying Wolves to beat Norwich 1-0 or 2-0. Not entirely sure about the Brighton vs Leeds, and Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa games could go either way.

Sportsbet has a betbuilder feature for most of the games, certainly for all the games in big leagues. They don't have all the markets in the betbuilder but they have all popular ones, ML, goals, both to score, corners, cards some player props etc.

You have betbuilder on top of the markets when you open the game you are interested in. You have to click on it to expand the options.

Ah, I can't believe I've actually missed that. I've been using fiat based websites for football, and I've been looking to change for a while. Didn't realise Sporetsbet had it right in front of me. Cheers for that.
2562  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some Tips To Stop Feeling Overwhelmed In Crypto on: November 24, 2021, 10:31:21 PM
Seriously, if you believe in Bitcoin, and you don't want to continuously start doubting it whenever it hits a few snags in terms of its current price, then don't look at the price. I can't remember how long I went without checking the price of Bitcoin, it must have been years. I used to avoid the economics/speculation sections like the plague, and at the time I hadn't withdrawn in a long time. The only time I would see it is when I was purchasing or taking some out temporarily.

In fact, I think checking the price too often is one of the leading causes of reactionary selling, and therefore losses. Look at it this way, if you invested 5 years ago, you would have went on a roller coaster of a ride because there's been multiple "bubble" bursts according to the news, and there's also been several times Bitcoin has hit snags, which at the time seemed quite big, but in the long term were pretty irrelevant.

Obviously, this goes without saying that there could be drawbacks to not checking the price frequently, but personally I think people get sucked in too much on its current price, rather than its actual value.
2563  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A newbie here - can someone advise on a link where I can understand Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2021, 10:25:13 PM
Why not read the wiki instead?
Here's the link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin and this https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin

Or go directly on the Bitcoin wiki here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Main_Page
As good as the Wiki can be, it isn't really a good learning resource for those that are new. Bitcoin needs to be explained in a newbie friendly way, there's too much jargon, and technical terms on the wikipedia, and could potentially scare off new users. I know usually the technical terms have their own pages which explains their meanings, but really a new user needs to learn the fundamentals before getting caught up in the technical details.

Everything is on the internet you can simply research it, if you like video tutorials there are hundreds of them on Youtube.  It's very easy now to learn about Blockchain and Bitcoin functions.
Problem with that; especially when you're new is there's no real way of telling whether the information your being fed is actually accurate. Especially Bitcoin, there's so much misinformation around it, that it can be difficult for experienced users, let alone someone that is new looking to learn.
2564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is it to invest in Bitcoin in the current situation? on: November 24, 2021, 10:16:59 PM
Theoretically, bitcoin is an amazing protection against inflation. It was designed for that.

I think it is very reasonable to have a decent amount of bitcoin, for anyone, anywhere in the world.
The USD inflation definitely isn't temporary, while Bitcoin was designed to be deflationary, rather than inflationary, USD or any fiat currency for that matter is actually designed to be inflationary, this is why I don't get why so many people act surprise when we get high inflation rates. Massive inflation is exactly what you get when you continuously inject new money into circulation, and it seems that USD is particularly bad for it, and injects it without much regulation at all.

I'd personally prefer to have my savings in Bitcoin, despite the risks than fiat currencies, any day of the week.
2565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Childrens Wallets on: November 24, 2021, 10:03:58 PM
If I were you I would simply buy a hardware wallet ( in my opinion either Trezor or CoinKite ), fund it, and then hold it for them for the long term.  Exchanges should be used as little as possible.  Buy your coins off of an exchange or sell your coins and then be done with it until you have to do a similar procedure.  Try and stay away from leaving any funds on an exchange.
My question would be though; is it worth investing in a hardware wallet, when you could just make a offline wallet. Since, hardware wallets really start to shine when you want to frequently access the Bitcoin, while still remaining pretty safe. However, since this is a inheritance plan, that isn't really required. Might be better putting that 30-50 quid that it would cost for a hardware wallet, and put it towards more Bitcoin for his kids.

^  Ryan Hall could win but I’m really not sure about that line at 1.45 and it’s 2.75 for Minner.  I mean especially after Hall was exposed by Ilia Topiria in their last match. I’d bet Hall at around 1.70 or better..  At the current line, no bueno.

Another interesting match up is O’Malley vs Paiva.  Seems like another good spot for the underdog...  And Kara France vs Garbrandt could be another underdog spot.  Can’t wait.  Smiley

Always worth betting Ryan Hall by submission I think, if there are any websites which allow me to bet on what type of submission, please let me know because for the foreseeable future I would chuck a leg lock submission down every single time on him.

Definitely was exposed, though it's nice to see him actually fighting somewhat regular again. I know everyone is loving O'Malley, but I actually think he's rather weak willed, and will be exposed as he climbs into the top fighters.

Well, we may never know if he really works hard in giving his all maybe he can take a step further, but yes that fight is not really that outstanding but in what I see he really dominates Chiesa on the ring, that I thought it will go the other way around, I have bet for Michael Chiesa and I really never expected the result that Sean Brady could win, but maybe sometime after this fight he can be worth a shot for the title match.

He needs to significantly work on areas that isn't wrestling for him to have a chance, and he doesn't seem to want to do that so far in his career. He isn't going to wrestle himself to the belt, far too many dangerous fighters in the division.
2567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 24, 2021, 09:57:26 PM
Are there any Bitcoin gambling websites for football, that allows you to bet build? For example, a bit like bet365's bet builder where you can select what will happen in each of the games. I prefer that format, to just predicting who will win.

Can he get out of his contract at PSG just like that though? It's usually hard to get out of them unless you're sacked and have lost the dressing room and fans. PSG are doing pretty well and have an 11 point buffer but that's to be expected.
Usually not, though if PSG want to get rid of him, and he wants the job at United then they could potentially waiver part of the compensation he would be due if PSG just outright got rid of him, which might benefit both parties.

I know PSG have lost a few times in the champions league, I wonder if they were not to qualify would that mean Poch would be released by mutual consent.
2568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is it to invest in Bitcoin in the current situation? on: November 24, 2021, 12:42:29 AM
Depends what type of person you're. If you invest now, you're risking losing that investment, however this is true for anytime you invest in Bitcoin. That's just the reality of investing. Though, the only person who can really determine this for you is you, since you know if you believe in Bitcoin or not, and you know how much you can afford to lose.

Personally, if I had more disposable cash that I didn't have tied up elsewhere, I would absolutely be taking the risk, and buying more Bitcoin. Though, I wouldn't be looking to take that Bitcoin back out again for a very long time.

I think you don't really know much about bitcoin, if you really know about it I think you shouldn't be asking this question.
Plenty of people make money on things that they don't personally understand, though for obvious reasons it's always recommend that they do learn about it. Though, all they need to know is the amount of support it has, and predict how much support it could potentially get, and that's usually a recipe for increasing its value due to supply, and demand increasing.
2569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Childrens Wallets on: November 24, 2021, 12:38:02 AM
Hardware wallet if you don't mind spending a few quid or a simple offline wallet will suffice. Just save some of the addresses, and you can deposit Bitcoin whenever you want without actually opening the wallet. It's probably best to educate your children on how to stay safe with Bitcoin wallets, and the most common pitfalls.

Basically, the only thing your children need is either the private key or the seed, or preferably both. So, you only need to generate them, assure that they're working properly (which you can do safely on a offline computer), and that should avoid most of the common pit falls. Don't use a online service, since the attack vector increases, you can't guarantee that they haven't seen the private key themselves, and you also can't guarantee that the online service will still exist when your children grow of age to claim the wallet.
2570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 24, 2021, 12:12:02 AM
I agree, not one of the best managers out there,in fact from some games I have watched from Tottenham I was bored because even when they were in disadvantage this coach was not doing anything to improve his side or at least to tell them to go all in and attack to save something from that game. For people like him where I live right now we have a saying "Man without blood" meaning he does not feel the adrenaline of the game and the team he is managing. That would be a bad move from Manchester United if they get him, nothing will improve for them.
I'm not saying he's a terrible manager, just not someone I would associate Manchester United with, as you saying goes, I would say he lacks the passion, and also tactical knowledge. Manchester United need a breath of fresh air, and quit going for the managers which are known for tactical approach only e.g Van Gal, and going for passion only e.g Ole. Instead, they really need to combine to two, look at the most successful managers in the Premier League, and you'll probably associate them with both. Klopp is often underestimated in his tactical approach, and the guy is probably one of the best man managers around, while Tuchel is known for his tactical approach more than his passion, but he has the latter in buckets full too.

Both of these are ways of getting your players to not only play to win, but to play for their manager which is vitally important. Obviously, Manchester Untied had a good result tonight, but I watched most of the game, and it was far from impressive. Although, I can't pretend I would love for the fans, and board to put their confidence in Carrick for the season.
2571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 24, 2021, 12:06:24 AM
The belt?  Uh no..  Things are going to be very hard for Sean Brady.  He isn’t exceptional or anything special unlike how Chimaev is.  And try watching the match again.  He was getting hit really hard by Chiesa who isn’t really a good striker.  I feel like the match makers will really have a hard time finding his next opponent unless he’s going to be some sort of stepping stone for another fighter.

Aaand didn’t realize the next event is next next weekend.  -_-
Basically, you could hear Chiesa saying to his corner that "he's so strong", but other than that I'm not overly impressed by him. Yeah, he definitely has good wrestling skills, but I think that gets tested a lot more with more wrestling focused fighters. Chiesa I thought did pretty poorly, considering I was betting on him winning, but it is what it is. He definitely did rock Brady at least once in the last round. Plus, Brady's gas tank is questionable at best.

Yeah, then the week after that we have Poirier vs Oliveria I believe. Plus, Ryan the wizard, and just a bunch of other great fights setup. Can't wait for that card. In fact, I'm probably going to avoid betting on the next event to save some money for that banger of a card.
2572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 23, 2021, 01:58:59 PM
Chimaev looks promising, but I'm not sure if he deserves a title shot against Usman yet? Usman also has two outlets to his attacks, he can knock people out, and he's also a decent wrestler. Chimaev we've only really seen the wrestling side. I don't think he'll man handle Usman like he has with everyone else that has been put in front of him so far.

I want to see Chimaev put in front of a few lesser opponents than Usman, but are known for being able to prevent the takedown, and have heavy fists. This is MMA, and it would be nice to see if Chimaev can mix it up. Despite all the criticism Khabib gets for his wrestling style, he actually did have decent stand up too.
2573  Other / Meta / Re: Option to filter messages based on keywords on: November 23, 2021, 12:02:05 AM
Yeah, this forum isn't really designed for a nice filter. Probably not going to be implemented in the current forum software, I suspect it would break too many things, and be too time consuming to implement. The best your going to get is filtering it yourself via the search function which can be rather dire at times or using a search engine to do the filtering.

Simple Machines Forum while how good it used to be, really starts to show its age when it comes to implementing new features, due to the fact that it doesn't seem to scale well, it wasn't built with modern coding practices, and even the smallest change can break things. At least, that's been my limited experience with it.
2574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 22, 2021, 11:59:51 PM
Yup, at first glance my gut is going for Aldo too. Font is good but Aldo has way more experience.  And I think this is Font’s first time fighting in a 5 round main event.  Aldo on the other hand is so used to fighting 5 round matches since he was the champ at 145 for so long...  And he’s the underdog.  Wink
Good point, I think it's often underestimated fighters that are used to fighting five rounds, it's a totally different pace at which you need to fight. For example, Sean Brady would definitely not be competitive going into the championship rounds, and while he did definitely do well against Chiesa, you could see he was gassing out towards the end, and another round I think he could have definitely been in a lot of trouble, since Chiesa was finally getting to him. In fact, I think he may have been rocked twice during that last round, hard to tell because he went straight for the takedown, which is a normal reaction for a wrestler when they get rocked.

Yeah Aldo being the underdog still hasn't hit me yet. Such a legend, I forget he's getting on a bit now. Still, I consider him the favourite in my heart Cheesy.
2575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 22, 2021, 11:56:15 PM
He is maybe one of the most underrated managers in the world. I was always saying while he was at Spurs that he is overachieving with that squad and people were complaining that Spurs are not winning trophies. See where they are now without him. He is maybe not as flashy as some other choices but he is very good long term option that will build up the club and maybe some youth players in the process.

Only problem, I am thinking United would rather buy the players, not develop them and I am not sure if Poch is perfect for that kind of team. Zidane would be much better choice if that is their idea going forward.
I'm still one of those people that think Poch isn't all that great. That Tottenham side is a very good side, should definitely be challenging for top 6. Plus, when Harry Kane is happy, and firing on all cylinders that really would improve anyone's chance in the league. I think he's done a rather lackluster job at PSG, and some of his decision making is questionable at best, which I think is overshadowed by the quality players he has at his disposable.

To be honest, as a rival fan if Poch goes to Manchester United, I don't think I'm all that bothered.
2576  Other / Meta / Re: Top reporters on: November 22, 2021, 11:52:54 PM
Unfortunately, everyone who does a lot of reports accepts the risk that they themselves will become targets of attacks on a personal level. Luckily I see that such things have not affected you too much and that you will make even more effort to thank all these spammers for their kind words Wink
Yeah, probably. Though, I never really had anyone voice their concerns about it when I was very public about the amount I reported. Though, I guess it definitely gives certain users more ammo. theymos doesn't really release the information that often, however I imagine if you requested for your data not to be released when he does do it, I'm sure it wouldn't be much of a problem to omit it from the results.

Though, I do think most users worth listening too understand the importance of reporters.
2577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 22, 2021, 12:05:53 PM
Gerrard turning around Aston Villa's recent form with a win. Is it too early to get excited?

I saw a stat somewhere Fabinho & Thiago have only started 12 PL games together. We have won 11 of them & drawn 1. Absolutely imperative they stay fit, that’s been an issue though.
Thiago has just been extremely unlucky, and his injuries haven't really been from strains caused by normal activity, usually its from a Everton player smashing him up. I'm kidding, only partly. However, I'm not too concerned about his injuries, and they have mainly been impact related, which is unavoidable. Whereas, players like Sturridge for example had a new injury every other game.

Fabinho is normally quite fit too if you look over the seasons. I'm expecting a nice run of games for both, especially because Henderson has been quite hit, and miss recently. Some games he plays his normal self, and then other games he not only just goes invisible, but becomes detrimental to the attack, and I'm a big fan of ol' Henderson.
2578  Other / Meta / Re: Forum PM Privacy on: November 22, 2021, 11:59:54 AM
The point of posting PMs publicly is sort of a gray area, for one; they are not accessible to the public and except you allow a trusted member access to your account to view the Pm directly, no one can verify the authenticity of your claim. So, publicly posting personal messages of itself to either expose a scan or for whatever reason doesn't do much, as it's a copy and oastevorba screenshot, both which can be easily faked.

I personally would rather not expose a PM sent to me. It's personal to me and if they wanted it public they could have made it public. If however, I'm in a situation where I have to expose a PM to indemnify myself in a situation (like if I was accused of something), I'll only bring up the part relevant to that and have someone verify it.

Randomly exposing other people's messages to you is in bad taste in my opinion. And could be worthy of a tag (maybe a neutral ones) in some situations.
Even then, only under excruciating circumstances I'd say releasing a personal message is the right thing to do. I wouldn't be giving anyone access to my account, regardless if they're on DefaultTrust or not. I'd much rather give them access to one personal message, instead of all my personal messages since it's almost impossible to look at your inbox, and only see one personal message due to the way they're displayed, so your unfairly exposing other users personal messages too, and of course then it's the security of your account.

Like I said only under excruciating circumstances would this be justified. Though, I also guess it depends on the context. Whatever that personal message says, might already be deemed public knowledge or something that's not considered private. Though, even then it's probably best to reference that personal message, instead of giving out personal details.

2579  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 22, 2021, 11:51:56 AM
I basically put a few of the favourites on an accumulator, and they all won. Except, I included it on a accumulator with some football bet builders, which Manchester City didn't get over 8 corners, so I actually fell short. It was more of a punt in the dark rather than anything.

Terrible fights for most of the night I thought was definitely a card to forget. Sean Brady did alright, not impressed massively by him, and Chiesa also seemed to only wake up in the last round, where Sean could then just dive for the takedown, and keep safe. Disappointing even all around.

The good news is we should have a few weeks of absolute banger of cards now that one is over, and done with.

My early leans for the next even are; Jake Matthews, Aldo, and Kape. So, I'm pretty much fancying the favourites again this time around. Though, Font could shock Also. Jake I'm very confident about.
2580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 19, 2021, 08:31:42 PM
Pinhiero vs Hughes under 2.5 rounds at 1.96
Qileng to win at 2.34
Lookboonme at 2.33
Lutz at 1.97
Kang at 1.85
Vieira vs Tate under 4.5 rounds at 1.95

That’s a lot of small bets for me.  No more coins left for football or F1.  Lol.

And if I’m winning one of my bets, it goes straight to Chiesa to win at 2.42.  Cheesy
I'm considering just avoiding this event, at least betting on it. Except for Chiesa who I'm pretty confident might pull off the upset here. Other than that most of the other fights are a coin toss, which I'm not willing to test my luck on. I kind of fancy Pinhiero, but I keep changing my mind with the rest of the fights. Anyway, we've got an amazing event coming up on the 11th of December, which I might just save my money for.

I am a Bobby Knuckles fan. Just love the guys style. But Imma be honest, Adesanya has his number at least 80% of the time they fight. I even wouldn't say Izzy is far superior than him, I just think he's style is perfect to counter Bobby's style. But I can always hope. Two killers.
The thing is Adesanya will win 95% of the fights in the division, and that's meant that the division is starting to stagnate,  so despite being a Adesanya fan I'd like to see Whittaker take it. It at least spices up the division temporarily.
