721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: October 07, 2023, 02:26:20 AM
thank you for sharing your experience,
It's difficult to get a VIP account for gamblers who don't have large capital and are afraid of losing, so I think you are a group of people who have a lot of money.
gambling is just for the fun aspect, i won't be looking for a VIP account like you said, even though it's tempting, i still have to think about the funds that will be spent on it all
Not only the OP has a lot of money, they have enough money that reaching a high VIP status on many different casinos is even possible for them, any regular gambler trying to achieve such a feat will fail simply because they do not have the money necessary to achieve it, so while the perks of a high VIP status are without a doubt something I would like to have, I also know that I simply do not have the possibility of reaching it, and many gamblers are in the same situation in which I am.
Obviously this is the case, but it's good that we heard this kind of things from a real whale or if it is a online casinos, high rollers. So he is a VIP member already from the 3 casinos that he mentioned, and for sure some of us has at least one account from those though as they have established themselves here and be in the top of the game. I personally know one high roller though in land base casino here, and damn, he really spend millions and millions upon one sitting and I will tell you that he has a lot of perks that sometimes he just gave it to some of his friends. Like we can go to him and ask if he can get us a room from the casinos and yeah he can do it with just one call and although the room is not free, but the discounts he can get though, as high as 50%-75% and then some vouchers too if you wanted to add free foods. But as for us regular gamblers, I don't think that we can reach that high, Lol, we can only wish.
722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 07, 2023, 02:06:50 AM
The rumors about Clippers and Harden is just rumors at this point. There isn't any official statement regarding the situation from anyone, so we can't really get any valid news, nothing we can provide proof for. So we need to wait until something concrete happens, either the trade may happen, or maybe it is all just a rumor and not real.
True, but if you are a fan of basketball then you have some speculations in your mind as to what might happen for James Harden in the future. He shows interest again with the 76ers at the start of the training camp, and so we can move forward from there. Whether he will stay with the 76ers for this season and forget what he has said and remain professional. Or continue to create drama for him and the 76ers which is again on the familiar territory just like what Ben Simmons case years ago.

I think it should be important to note that we are not going to end up with anything that would benefit anyone neither, I just think that Harden to Clippers would be hard and Clippers may want him for the time being but the longer it takes the more they may reconsider their options. They already have a decent team, and getting someone that constantly had issues so far doesn't feel all that well.
See, you have your own speculation already. Definitely it should be mutual though, Clippers getting Harden but they will have to exchange some of their young players and then added future picks to lure the 76ers to give a go signal for a trade. Or Clippers standing their ground, not going to give that much to 76ers so the 76ers will have to accept it or not.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying ETH fees? on: October 06, 2023, 05:30:23 PM
I think to keep some ETH in your wallet it’s always good thing because anytime you need to sell your tokens as like if you see suddenly your tokens will big increase, personally i'm always holding 5$-10$ for transaction fees in my ETH wallets because i know i own/holding a several ERC-20 tokens so i'm always ready to sell it. In the next bull run definitely ETH price will be increase so it’s good time to buy ETH in cheap price.
Yes, at least $10.00 will do as transaction fees if you want to move several ERC-20 wallet. Just like what I did in the last couple of hours, I try to move $100.00 unfortunately, I can't because it says fees are not enough. Then I have to convert/swap some to $5.00 and it won't allow me because the minimum to swap is like $10.00. And so I did that, and it worth mentioning that the $10.00 will likely make me 3-4 transactions before I will have to replenish my wallet again with another $10.00 if I wanted to make a new transaction in the future. So I know it's huge already with that $10.00, but we can't do anything for now but to wait if there will be future iterations of ETH to make the gas fees much lower.
724  Economy / Economics / Re: What US can do with its dept? Genuine question. on: October 06, 2023, 04:44:02 PM
We all know that US borrowing heavily. There are a lot of information on US debt on the Internet. Just to make it short, I will ask few questions:

What do you think, how this situation will be resolved? What did happen to any other nations who had huge dept in history? Is there any ways offered by economists to resolve the situation?
Isn't it obvious though, I mean they are getting the money from their people in form of:

a. Taxes - we've seen and heard that they are still rising their taxes.
b. very controversial, but it was mentioned by @Yogee, they can make money in conflicts because they are going to supply the armaments.
c. Create jobs - but this is very difficult to achieved without investors money coming in

I'm not sure if there are nations without any national debt it. Sooner or later they will need to borrow money from someone else.
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Stevenson vs De Los Santos - Nov 16 on: October 06, 2023, 04:14:06 PM
I still think that Shakur will beat Delos Santos easy, although the highlights proved the Edwin is good too and he could be a technical and a brawler if he wanted to play so it depends on his opponents.

But again, Shakur is one of the most avoided fighter at light weight, I mean delos Santos is rank 5th, so from 1-4, he is being avoided just like when Frank Martin duck him and hide on the reasons that they want 50/50 split for the vacant WBC belt which is not going to happen because Shakur is the A-side here.

It will be a good fight for him because he cannot waste another month not stepping in the ring because boxers need to be active in their prime in order not to get rusty and slow when they finally meet their right match inside the ring. He just needs to take this fight seriously even though De Los Santos is not of his caliber, he won't be given an easy fight to defeat him rather it will be a motivation for his opponent to train harder in order to surprise him and probably beat him with their unique strategies.

Shakur really believes in himself, you know. His confidence is sky-high, so I'm pretty sure he'll make sure he's in tip-top shape and ready for any fight that comes his way. As for his opponent, well, in my opinion, De Los Santos doesn't seem all that threatening. Sure, he might have some power, but when it comes down to pure boxing skills, Shakur is the boss in that ring. Not that he'll finish the fight easily, but he has this knack for frustrating his opponent. He's got that Mayweather-style strategy, you know, all about defense, but it works like a charm. Of course, some folks find that kind of fight a bit on the boring side.
Yeah, it seems that Shakur is really very confident right now and looking for a great competition. And with that he should be very excited that at least someone is willing to face him and so he will prepare everything against De Los Santos and won't overestimated this guy. Maybe we are seeing some breed of boxers that really copy Floyd's style when they are growing up. Boxers like Shakur and Devin Haney, or even Tank Davis. All this boxers might have learn from watching Floyd's fighting style. I say it's not that bad though to play defense. But majority of the fans wanted to see real action in the ring, like going toe to toe and not much of a running. Alhough Shakur has power as well, specially he is a good body puncher and could knockout his opponent with his body punch.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery with a twist on: October 06, 2023, 03:52:05 PM
Any thoughts? Is there any similar projects out there?

There’s no known lottery project here that has a mechanics like this which distribute prize on random user. It’s more on a raffle than a lottery since user is not betting on a picked numbers but rather the smart contract is just selecting entries as winner.

L0tt0.com is your nearest competitor for lotto based game. The only problem on this kind of game is every round can be useless whenever there’s no participants aside from one user who place bet compared to a regular lotto games which the casino provides prize pool for players to win with their bet. This game is more on just PVP.

Yeah it's more like a PVP. Well I was trying to search but I can not find any projects like this. Maybe this system will be flawed? Anyway if there is only one participant, when the round is over, he gets his money back. Everything happens automatically. It's written in the smart contract. Only if the contract has not enough balance to pay the gas plus the user's share would be a problem. But for that, we could add a function that everyone can topup the contract's account for fees.
Yeah, I also heard this kind of projects before, maybe you have to comb this board: Project Development. And I'm not sure if we have seen a lotto project that become successful regardless of the twist or just a regular lotto game because there could be a lot of trust issues like how is it not going to be rigged or stuff like that?, specially coming from a newbie like you. But if you think that your project will be successful, then just go ahead and see if others are willing to participate in your lotto game, so best of luck to you.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 06, 2023, 10:58:03 AM
It looks like the Philadelphia 76ers have finally caved to Harden’s pressure and will be shipping him to the Clippers. The Clippers are said to be doing everything in their power to make it happen. After all the offseason drama it seems like Harden is going to end up getting what he wants, while Dame didn’t get the trade he wanted, but might get himself a ring.

The latest rumor I've seen is that the Clippers offered the 76ers an unprotected first-round pick and a swap pick. But the 76ers want more and seem to be interested in Terance Mann. So, I think if the Clippers offer Mann and at least one first-round draft pick, the 76ers will probably take it and send Harden to LA. It's time for this drama to end.

I'm afraid this drama won't end this season, because all the pressure is with the Sixers right now, the Clippers can simply decline what the Sixers are demanding. So it's either they will accept what the Clippers offered or keep Harden until mid season and try another deal.
The Heat has been reportedly not interested in a James Harden trade either. They were only interested with Dame.
I don't know which other team is interested in a trade to acquire James Harden, I can't take of any except the Heat and the Clippers, but then again the Heat is out of the picture already.
There could be other teams that might interested on James Harden, but he could be used as a trade bait as well. So this could really create a lot of messed in the NBA, so we will see who's team are going to make a move or maybe the Clippers will have to add another players in the trade that will make it more interesting to go and give the signal for a trade. But the question is, if the Clippers is willing to include not just Mann in the trade, but other members as well and then their future draft picks. That's already huge and attractive package already and for sure the Sixers might bite on that one.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polygon co-founders say they've gotten rid of C-suite positions on: October 05, 2023, 12:18:55 PM
Yeah, most likely they want to start this so called trend, getting rid of C-suite position. However, I don't think it's application to crypto though in the very beginning. I mean it should be decentralized and so there could be no central authority.

Maybe a nominal title like what Vitalik Buterin is carrying right now as he is the one who developed Ethereum and all other old school developers who get out of the project itself but they have this title behind them.

But with how crypto projects evolved, there are a lot of titles that not even involved directly to the project. They become a corporate like structure in which it is totally against the very basic tenant of crypto structure.
729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: David Benavidez Vs Demetrius Andrade Interim WBC Super Middleweight title fight on: October 05, 2023, 11:31:02 AM
In paper Andrade look to have a good chance against Benavidez. But David is very young and has a scary power in both hands. And so with this observation, I think Benavidez will go on to win either by unanimous decision or just knock the hell out of Andrade.

I'm expecting a lot of trash talk though, both are trash talkers so we might hear a lot of words trying to demoralized each other and trying to get to each other heads. But with Benavidez father behind, this is going to be interesting when they face off. And if David Benavidez wins here, he could be next for the great Canelo Alvarez as we have been also waiting for this fight to happen, most likely if everything works well with David, he will be next for Canelo in Cinco de Mayo, both Mexican warriors.
730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 05, 2023, 11:00:11 AM
But his performance is also crucial because the Sixers chose not to trade him. Once his contract expires, and if he does not produce good statistics, he won't be able to secure a good contract with a team that might interest him. In short, his market value will drop. Let's just see how the season will go. At least for now, the Sixers' headache has eased a bit, as Harden is already participating in practice.

Maybe I am wrong, but it seems to me that any player will lose market value if he changes teams every season and acts like Simmons did earlier or like Harden this offseason. Who knows, maybe Harden will purposely misbehave both on and off the court during the upcoming season, and the 76ers will have no choice but to trade him. Of course, it's unlikely that will happen, though I wouldn't be surprised by it.
The case could be worst than the Ben Simmons drama though, at least Ben keep quiet like Harden is going on the public and telling what he doesn't like with the 76ers. So yes, I also wouldn't be surprised if we still attends the first day training camp and then disappear because he doesn't want to play with them anymore and no one can stop him from wanting to get out of the 76ers.

So this drama will drag the 76ers once more, after getting Joel his 1st MVP as a 76ers, now they are into this messed again and it doesn't look good for the franchise at the start of the season. If they could released Harden, then they should do it so that they won't be affected mentally.
731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Up Move Incoming on: October 05, 2023, 10:35:25 AM
Let me know what do you think is about to happen.

This looks good, beside Fib, the short-term downward trend that has been going on since June has been broken. It should be noted, however, that the movement is not supported by volume, and there is strong resistance ahead at the levels 28.5k-29k, which may constitute the frame of the H&S formation.
Yeah, volume is weak for this run, however, it's good that we have seen some movements above $27k or even as far as going to $28k. So I guess the first resistance level will be $28k and if we go there, we will have to see if it can maintain its course or totally collapse again as just like any other retest that we have in the last couple of months.

So we have to be careful, but the situation is certainly better than in recent weeks.
We need to be very cautious, but for long term holder, I think still good to do and continue our DCA. But for short term traders, it's going to be very difficult on how to squeeze some profits down the line or at least for this month alone.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias vs. S. Ergashev (IBF jr. welterweight title) Nov. 4: Las Vegas on: October 05, 2023, 09:43:48 AM
I'm not so familiar with the boxer, but Jr. Welterweight or Super Lightweight is a division where we have other champions with popular names.

WBC - Regis Prograis
WBA - Rolando Romero
WBO - Teofimo Lopez

I can't determine the ranking of the champions, but among the four, I think Matias is the least popular. Anyway, it's still a great fight since it's a championship fight. Hopefully, next time, we will see a unification fight.
I agree, since Josh Taylor vacated all the belts here and then lost it to Teo Lopez, it open ups this division. But I understand that the names are not familiar to us because it's from a lesser governing body in boxing which is the IBF. Nevertheless it's a good opportunity for this two to be in the limelight and became a champion, someone has to start from something and hopefully whoever wins this fight will have to cross and unify the belts with other champions so that we can see how good this two are, pitting against the like of Teo Lopez, which upset Josh Taylor and started to get back his name again after his 135 lbs conquest. So Jr. Welterweight is going to be lively, also with Regis Prograis fighting the 135 lbs unified champion in Devin Haney.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin millionaire: Lucky or possesses more qualities that we don't have. on: October 04, 2023, 10:22:54 AM
_ Emotional control: one of the most difficult thing is controlling your emotions while you watch your assets fluctuates greatly, mostly if it's going down, without you pulling the plug out of fear, so i believe it's one of the key they have.
This take years to learn though, it's very hard in the beginning to control our emotions specially when we see that our portfolio is going down. It's good if it is going up, but once the prices started to decline, sometime we panic and think of selling our crypto assets. So I guess this is not a pre-requisite.

_Early tech exploration: They got into the industry very early which they took good advantage of, while others were guessing and still not confident about it. They bought Bitcoin at a very cheap rate when people where even afraid of spending a thousand box on it.
Again, this is also comes late in our investment journey. In the beginning we don't know where to look for this early tech exploration. And most of the time those early tech that succeeded, they are the ones trying to make a sell pitch to this big investors.

_ Long term perspective: They don't just buy, they look at it on the long run, they know when to take risk but at the same time they don't buy and sell with emotions.
Definitely, in every investment that we make, we should be looking long term as this is the best way to make huge profits.

_ Patience: they have the patience needed to steadily build their wealth over the long term.
Just like what I mentioned, it will take years and years to be discipline and have that patience to build generational wealth.
734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting paid on gambling accounts on: October 04, 2023, 09:46:22 AM
I made a mistake of getting paid for signature campaign in gambling platform accounts.
When I got my payment, I thought I would slowly increase the amount by about 5-10% before I initiate a withdrawal. But I quickly lost control of my emotions and ended up blowing the entire balance of my account. This happened more than once, it happened about 5 times as I received money from different sources.
It’s important for me to tell this story so that others don’t make the same mistake I did. This has been a huge life lesson in managing money and emotional self-discipline .
So how do you increased the amount by 5-10%? You want to sit it out on that gambling site wallet or play with it? If you played then sorry to say it's a big risk and I do hope that you understand it by know. And I guess even if you save if to a wallet that you have control, maybe there will be times that you will be tempted to deposit it to a casino. And then just continue to play again and again. Been in this kind of situation and even up to this day, when I have money in my wallet I will have to wake up and then think that I wanted to play and then deposit some. So not just you, I think majority here have been in that process before and it's very hard to get out of it unless you have learned to control your emotions and snap back to reality that gambling will just destroy your life slowly, so it's very hard and we need to be mentally prepared before we can quit.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquaio vs Mayweather 2 rematch on: October 04, 2023, 09:30:44 AM
Floyd and Manny met 8 years ago. If they have a rematch, they would be 47 and 45 yo. They arent the best form of them anymore. I see no reason for them to fight, except to make an exhibition fight. In addition, Floyd now fight only in exhibition fights, while Manny had a professional fight two years ago. I have doubts that their potential fight will have a lot of interest from boxing fans. Yes, people will love to see them fighting again, but they wont be fighting really seriously imho. Last time Floyd got 400 millions for a fight against Manny. How much he gonna ask now? A billion? Will promotors pay he so much for an exhibition fight ?
It's greed though, maybe they are seeing the boxers are making millions more in this current era and so why not still go when the fans wanted them to rematch? However, I'm thinking that if this fight is going to be made, it will be just an exhibition match and most likely be held in the Middle East wherein it is the new country that held this high stakes fight and obviously because of the richest in that region, it's oil money and they have a lot of them to burn with this kind of big fights. So let's put it this way, everything will be possible if the money is right in the table.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 04, 2023, 09:25:25 AM

Possible to see Steph, CP3, Wiggins, Klay and Green, very small line up but if the offense will click it's also
a good running game play for this starting unit.

Dang, one point guard and two shooting guards at a time! The offense is definitely good but the defense will surely be a problem for the Warriors if this is their starting lineup. Surprisingly, three of these five players are averaging 5 rebounds per game which may be a good point for this lineup.

For me, I would bench Klay and make Jonathan Kuminga a starter in the forward position because of his athleticism, size, and skill.
I don't see anything big in the changes though, Kuminga might start as well since Draymond is out for 4-5 weeks because of injuries and then Looney in the center position. There are times that they used this kind of starting 5 before with Poole, so they could do the rotation like before. So this is just normal for them to see one point guard and 2 shooting guards and it has been effective for them if I may say. And speaking of Kuminga, I think he will again be part of the future of the Warriors, this kid is slowly developing into one of the best NBA player and there are reports that he is still growing and close to 7'0'' now.

Thanks for bringing this useful information in front of us, I mean hackers are now breaking their limits with such upgradation, but to be honest I am really disappointed to see that they are only selling it for $250 dollars. That's too low. And those who will become victims, who know how much loss they are going to make.  Tongue
I think the group wanted to impressed in the beginning, that's why they are selling it for a cheap price. But as reported, there are upgrades already and it will be upgraded again and again.

Overall, the working mechanism of this tool is straightforward, and if they are attacking the above wallets then I am safe Because using none of them (Well this also can be used to filter my address by hackers if they are here on BTT using this tool  Grin )

What pre-cautions should we take besides just not clicking on doubtful emails?
The moral lesson here is that everyone is vulnerable, no one should think that everyone is safe because you really don't know the extent this cyber criminals can do specially with this kind of weapons. They can even control everything from their command and center (C&C) and monitor what they are doing in your own device. This posts by @LoyceV is very helpful as well with regards to Clipboard malware, How to lose your Bitcoins with CTRL-C CTRL-V.

739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: October 03, 2023, 12:38:51 PM
The fight will be @140lbs, so i think Garcia is comfortable at this weight
He probably is since it's less weight cut unlike his previous fight with Tank. Is there a stipulation that would physically affect fighters like the rehydration clause? I hope not so both of them could be at their potential best come fight night.

It would be nice to get in as soon as possible as I think Garcia would open up a slight favorite but that could quickly change making Duarte a huge underdog.
I don't think that there is such stipulation in this fight. Ryan Garcia is the A-side here, if there is one that will put this kind of ridiculous clause it will be him. But I doubt that he will do that because he doesn't want the boxing community that he won because of this rehydration clause.

So it's a straight up 140 lbs limit and then they can rehydrate both to maybe as high as 150 lbs during the fight night and nothing will change. But I do agree that it's a tough fight for him. But Ryan should take care of Duarte here, and hopefully the experience he got from the Davis fight is good enough for him to overcome adversaries if there will be one in this fight.
740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 03, 2023, 12:12:14 PM
Watch out for this kid, Curmel Moton, a 17 year old protege of Floyd Mayweather.

He moves like a young Floyd, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoG1nAK_28o. So we will see what the future of his kid will be, he has also been compared to Inoue but he said that he is bigger and stronger than Inoue. Definitely worth someone to wait in the next 5 years and for sure with Floyd as his mentor, he will be a champion.

I see the similarity, though I don't think he'll be able to become the next Floyd Mayweather. We will likely see him in a lower division, as he is a short boxer. Currently, he only stands at 5'2", so the moment he becomes a pro, most likely he'll just fight in the bantamweight division or super bantamweight division.
Maybe he can still have some growth spurt as he is still very young. But most likely will be like 5'4" to 5'5". But regardless of his height though, lots of promises from his boy specially Mayweather taking him on his wings. And it's a good sign for the career of Curmel. I mean Floyd also help Tank Davis early and he is now one of the most electrifying boxer and he bring a lot of money too in his fight and could be the cash sow in the lower weights. So yes, we will see if Moton could be a hype only or bust or will become a true superstar in the ring.
