744  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: UPDATED! [Live-Group Buy].5BTC = 2.8Gh/s KNCminer Jupiter *11 Sold [Selling #12] on: July 09, 2013, 04:32:52 PM
I like the way you're doing it ragingazn628. Thanks for the hard work!

Yeah it's much better to be organized now and save a lot of headaches for everyone Smiley would be very clear and organize for when I do bi-weekly dividends as well!
Can we get a mailing list or something, too?  It seems as if not a lot of people are actually checking this thread.
745  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Live - Group Buy].5BTC = 2.8Gh/s KNCminer Jupiter/Saturn *10 Sold [Selling #11] on: July 09, 2013, 10:39:53 AM
Please reserve 10 shares for tomorrow, too late to buy now (im from europe and its 2 am here).

Isn't it already full? If not I'd like to buy some also

Perhaps we should open it up to one more Jupiter and then close the selling temporarily. That way, those who were bumped off the last Jupiter could move over to this one, and new people who want in can buy in (I know I have some add'l BTC coming in). But then we really need to be diligent about the amount of shares that are being sold so nobody gets caught in limbo.
This sounds good.  Also, colonelsanders99: I think he just messed up.  PM him and he'll fix it.
746  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Big Toe sending phishing links on: July 08, 2013, 08:27:50 PM
This. He wanted to buy an item from me and provided an "address" and told me to use one of the private keys he has to get the funds. Yet he doesn't even acknowledge how much is in the "account" nor does it look legit or safe. I messaged him back 3 minutes ago telling to send to an address otherwise no deal. I bet he will not respond back.
Yeah, I didn't quote it because of the address.

Read title.

This guy is a shitty troll.  When I troll people, they don't even realize they're being trolled.
749  Economy / Services / Re: .1 BTC raffle for CoinChat! on: July 08, 2013, 01:09:27 AM
Looks like it's getting removed.  Ref links not allowed, maybe.

Huh? If you're talking about girlfawkesy's, it's because you can't have links in your signature with less than 10 posts.
Oh, I see.  Thanks.

Ya ye know what, I messaged him a few days ago and missed his reply and just bought the shares now before reading the rest of this thread. Seems I screwed up and missed the boat before the merging of the Saturn. So uhh... I guess i'll request a refund. Bugger.

Two shares of Jupiter purchased. $100 USD with PayPal. Transaction ID # 6L601577P60452233
I thought it was sold out.
You might be able to get in, still.  Don't ask for a refund yet.

756  Economy / Lending / Re: Wanted, 10 to 200 BTC loan at 1% per week, ~3 weeks (breakable) on: July 06, 2013, 11:27:15 PM
Wow... I never thought that there would be a scenario in which I feel more comfortable loaning *without* a loan reason.

Well it's true there's never been a worse time to ask for a loan, 1% a week is small compared to the pirate-like returns you can get in certain vehicles these days (ASICMINER, etc). But if you've ever tried to pull money out and send it to Japan you know the price can change drastically in a matter of days. That is what I am trying to avoid. If I can get the BTC now, then I have the luxury of playing the exchange rate for 3 weeks until I buy BTC. It's kind of like leveraged trading; i'm leveraging the cost of 1% of the loan for the high likelyhood the price will move more than 1% over the next 3 weeks.
I don't think you quite understand what you're doing... If you want to lock in the exchange rate, which is what you're describing, you take out a USD loan (or a USD denominated loan) and buy BTC.

I don't get how getting a loan of BTC would lock in the exchange rate.

it's been explained a couple times already Smiley

If the price of BTC goes up, I simply pay off the loan with the loan itself plus 1%. I end up not losing very much since I don't pay transfer fees on the fiat.

if the price of BTC goes down, I can buy more BTC which covers the 1%.
I think you should actually THINK about what you're doing before taking a $14k loan.

There is literally no point in doing this unless you're planning on shorting BTC.  You lose 1% either way.  If you don't take the loan, you lose 0%.

Are you sure you're not just using this to gamble?

They only cost 1 BTC in a groupbuy, though.

As far as I know they are out of stock.
Oh, they are?  Link?
