781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share Your Experience About Casinos You Found Here on: September 19, 2023, 10:37:12 AM
Thanks for this review, I haven't try any casino that you mentioned though, I heard about them, some of them have signature campaigns already and so for sure there are gamblers that might have tried and played on their platform.

But it's going to be interesting if someone will collaborated what you have experience, either good or bad so that it will somewhat a credibility on your reviews on them. So hopefully we will see some members here, specially those who have been here in the community for so long to give us the feedback as well.

With a total prize pool of a staggering €3,000,000 and maximum cash prizes of up to €500,000, the odds are in your favor!

The Odd in my Favour you said ? But the casino’s is not built to be in the Favour of the players but that of the Casino owners. No odds appears to be to be in my Favour, I just treat everyone as equal, and place my bet just as I would in other odds, sometimes smaller odds or games that appears to be in ones Favour is even the ones that are most risky to stake on, we just have to give it a try not having the favorable odd aspect in mind.
True, and obviously that wordings is just for promotional only. And maybe it could be a huge price, but everything is still based on luck here, or maybe the more you play the better the chances but I don't it.

But in any case, online casino's are really a boom right now. It's a tough competition and so there are new casinos that are making promotions and marketing and thanks to this community, everyone should be aware and who knows, maybe one of us here can win that big money.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 16, 2023, 04:13:00 AM
Tank Davis is just at the same level as Errol Spence in terms of fan base and popularity. The difference is Ryan Garcia is not just a popular prospect but is also a social media influencer. Terrence Crawford's previous PPV numbers were inferior to Spence's. So it was kind of expected from the start that they wouldn't be breaking the Tank-Kingry PPV buys. I don't see anything special during the Tank-Kingry fight. They're both not world champions and the fight was not a title fight. It was no epic and it will be forgotten in the years to come. It's just that their duel was able to take the casuals hence the figures but the Bud-Spence fight will always be remembered in the years to come.

I think Canelo is still the biggest name in the sport so he and Bud will most likely reach a million PPV buys. But the Canelo-Jermell this month-end I also doubt that the fight will reach a million PPV buys.
I'm saying something, both Tank Davis and Spence have Dropped a lot in popularity , but Spence has lost a lot, not only has he lost popularity because when things are about reputation, things are usually quite strong, because when we think about what Many people can make them buy, because in Spence everything he talked about was something that they always respected and followed his lead, now they don't even see him as if he were a Weakling , and what he should do is stand up At the level , Crawford still told him that if he was going to give him revenge and I don't think he will make him Wait 3 years like he made him wait , Why ? because in that Sense Crawford has much more Humility, because he knows what happened to him, then things are like that, and now he wants his next fight to be for Inoue ocn INoue so that the purchases overflow, and that fight will be a of the great Boxing bombs, in particular I didn't know Who to Choose , I think I would Lean Towards Inoue , although right now I saw Crawford with a great level and I found it difficult for someone to beat him, he wanted to finish the fight when he wanted, no when he had to , that was to give a little warning to Spence, who still came out but couldn't do much, this happens when a boxer takes and Underestimates another a lot, Spence, with all his humility, always spoke as if Crawford had been very inferior, and That's something you shouldn't do, especially in this sport where all the humiliation is only for you, but Sometimes you have to know how to Measure the Emotions...

With respect to García, it is Known that he is an influencer boxer, and since he is at an adequate level to be his weight, age, everything he can Obtain , we know that whatever he can imagine in putting himself up is very probable that he I did it, with Canelo, because we all know that They have Many fans, they have a lot of affection for him, once for what he shows, opr as he is, these boxers in particular have something they like and that's why it's the Support.

Do you guys think that those people who are influencers turned boxers sometimes do not get the recognition or the appreciation that they should get, just because they already had a platform? Sometimes I think those people who are influencer and trying to fight does not get people to look at them seriously.

It is also actually a really good idea to support Inoue. I think he is definitely going to do it correctly. Don’t get me wrong. The choice is definitely hard. But I think he is the better one in this comparison.
Are you referring to the Paul Brothers? If I'm not mistaken, there fight is not or cannot be considered as a pro boxing fight. I mean for us it is still a exhibition matches. And this guys are fighting like ex-MMA or any other ex-sports athletes for that matter.

And for me they are just looking for money as they are influencers and we can see that the Paul brothers are milking this business since they started this whole exhibitions matches. And to their opponents, they are also making good money as well even after they retired.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 16, 2023, 03:35:33 AM
For Casimero, I don't know. I'm afraid that he's already too late when it comes to chances and if he won't be chosen as Inoue's rival by their camp itself whenever Inoue will remain for another fight defending his belt, then I don't know anymore what Casimero can do in-order to have his dream fight against Inoue.

There's nothing he can do because he isn't the champion, and he is not in a position to dictate. What he can do is remain hopeful that his taunts towards Inoue will result in Inoue accepting the challenge and fighting him. Right now, he needs to focus on his upcoming fight and the succeeding fights if Inoue still does not respond. As long as Inoue has not moved up in weight, the chance is still alive. Eventually, Casimero's ranking will increase, and maybe one day he'll become a mandatory challenger.
He surely knows that there was an option, a fight against Nery but to be honest, I am surprised that he didn't pursue that kind of fight as that was the key to help elevate his name as well as his rank, considering that he can defeat Nery on the process. But right now, he's already late because he chose a fight where it won't benefit that much specially after the fact that he is looking forward to fighting against Inoue and to settle their rivalry that has been unanswered for years now.
Casimero vs Nery? that will be huge fight at 122 lbs, but yeah, I'm just wondering why the fight hasn't happen yet when this two has been calling each other out for many years, when Casimero is still at 118 lbs he always mentioned the name of Nery.

Same with Nery though, if I'm not mistaken, in his last win, he calls out Casimero.

Nevertheless, a Inoue vs Nery is also a good option, but I don't know, I read that Nery can't fight in Japan.

https://www.ringtv.com/530936-japan-boxing-commission-bans-luis-nery-life/

Quote
The Japan Boxing Commission (JBC) announced on March 9 that it is suspending Nery from fighting within its jurisdiction indefinitely, a reaction to the 23-year-old fighter’s failure to make weight for his WBC-mandated rematch against Shinsuke Yamanaka on March 1 in Tokyo.

Nery, a brutally dispatched the 35-year-old veteran in two rounds, was already on thin ice with the JBC and the Japanese public after it was revealed that he tested positive for the banned drug Zilpaterol
785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 16, 2023, 03:04:58 AM
Oops, something is interesting that has been reported just now. Dwight is in the meeting with the Golden State Warriors. Maybe he's been heard and this is it for his comeback to the NBA. This wall that has been tweeting funnily from Taiwan seems to be serious now about being acquired by the Dub nation.

Just in case this really happens hopefully they will win the championship to help Chris Paul get one. However I'm not sure if Dwight Howard would really contribute to him or the whole organization because let's be honest at this time Howard is far different from his era. Dwight Howard has had two finals appearances and one of them resulted in a championship. He went from losing to the Lakers to winning a championship when he joined the Lakers like Kevin Durant does when losing to Warriors.

Going to be a really old team.  I haven't followed Dwight since he left but can't have to much more in the tank.  I don't think golden state going old is the answer here.  Tends to never really work out but I guess we'll see.  Don't hate the guy so I hope he gets another shot.  When do they announce carmelo to the warriors?
Let's not assume yet.
The reports say that Dwight Howard will work out with the Warriors. If I read that kind of thing it doesn't actually end up good or we could say its 50-50 chance that he will get a contract with a team.
I love Dwight, I really want to see him on the NBA floor one more time and prove to the world that everything that is being thought of him is not true. He is a champion-caliber but so much gossip circled around him and I think it's the media that broke his NBA career.

What he did against Jokic in the bubble is still fresh in my mind. He bullied him beneath the rim and I won't forget that for the rest of my life.
For me, Dwight will be a good addition for the Warriors to back up Looney and I wish they will sign him.
Yes, still fresh in my memory on how he manhandled Jokic in the bubble when they match up in the playoffs. And it really shows the experience of Howard, trash talking and taunting Jokic causing them to lose that playoff series with the Lakers and then the Lakers going on to win the NBA in the bubble, so that is experienced for you.

So let's see how it goes for Dwight, if everything pans out then we will see him in the NBA jersey again and for sure his fans are going to be happy. If not, then I doubt that he will hang his jersey, maybe he can go back to Taiwan again and play.

where and how to find crypto investors for my ultra innovative crypto token
I doubt that you can easily find angel investors here, although this is the biggest crypto community, this angel investors seldom go here if I'm not mistaken. And as far as your ultra innovative crypto token, not trying to be negative, it seems that the market is already saturated with such innovations.

And unless your project is like bitcoin like, meaning prime mover, you might have a hard time trying to get angel investors in your project.

But you can frequent other groups though, like Telegram maybe and search for what kind of investors you are looking for.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: September 15, 2023, 02:15:08 PM
^ I'm not really sure if this is a good idea to stream the fight for free, it's going to be a double black eye for Eddie Hearn if he do that. He might be paying Haney with big money already so with that, I think he has lost some money already as it's hard to promote Haney because we all know that he doesn't have that charisma to the boxing fans maybe because of his styles.

But if you look at his records, still very young and undefeated and undisputed at 135 lbs, so that is a big accomplished already. But for us boxing fans, we want some real action in the ring and doesn't like boxers who doesn't take risk, just saying.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the stars that Milwaukee has and is it true that Giannis will really leave Milwaukee to look for opportunities with another team that could potentially take him to the top and win the NBA?
Giannis Antetokounmpo have the credits he deserved, I think is time for him to push forward and make more accomplishments in the league. He is a brilliant NBA player and has couples of achievements in the game. It's quite unfortunate that Milwaukee can't give him the necessary accolades he deserves, rather he needs to push for an exits from the team and explore more alternatives elsewhere. There's more time for him to developed into a more prominent player and ofcourse, all clubs would want him because he's a crucial player.
He responded with what the Bucks have given him with a championship, and I think that is the most rewarding for a team to get from a player that they have developed from the start.

But I do agree that mentality of Giannis about winning, they are super competitive that a lost has hurt them and that's why they don't want to have that feeling as he explain. All he wants to do is to win, and if he cannot accomplished it in the Bucks uniform, they obviously he will have to shop around his talent and maybe work with other superstars.
789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino... Fun or Not? on: September 15, 2023, 12:58:18 PM
Seems to be that majority of the gamblers here are in a restricted nation, so it might spell bad for the crypto casino as you might be losing some players from here that might want to check your casinos.

In any case, best of luck for those who have access, and hopefully the OP could somewhat offer a reputable member to try his casinos and give honest review (with real money). It's a sort of introduction to our community, this is just a suggestion though to the OP.
790  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $25,000 give way this time? on: September 15, 2023, 12:34:07 PM
Why? Is it a bad thing if bitcoin drops below $25k? Because it will be all possible for that to happen as we do not see any indications of something that could initiate bitcoin a good run for up to $40k.
I honestly don't expect bitcoin to recover that fast, especially now that there has no good news that triggers bitcoin for a positive run other than the halving which is still months away from today. I expect bitcoin will start to pump early next year as we draw closer to the halving. We might see a new ATH in the post halving period.
If bitcoin drop down below the present price, it will still favour people. Those who are buying, it is the best time to fill up their portfolios and it will be a risk period for short term investors. $25k line is stagnant for now though there are some days it climb to $26k. like yesterday it was $26,300 in the afternoon and in the evening time, it came down to $25k again. Before the $25k will permanently give way to $30+k it will be all those November of December. Bitcoin can not recover for now.
This could be the opportunity if you are playing long and know that the market will rise again.
If there’s a panic and the big holders will sell just to add for the drop, then we can expect a price lower than $25k and the worst price might be around $20k. Let’s still hope for the up trend before the year end, though the usual is not like this since many will sell their holdings just to enjoy the holidays, let’s see if we will have a different trend before the year end.
And even if the price goes a bit in the last 2 days or so, it is still a good buy options for us. It is just $26k and this is still a great opportunity to buy at they are still very cheap.

You are also right when you say that we should go long, that is the mentality that we should have. I'm just talking about experience though, I mean if we just accumulate in the bear market and then hold on it and wait till the bull run comes, then definitely, it's going to be rewarding and satisfying as we can see our profits like going 6x or even higher.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream coins or altcoins? on: September 14, 2023, 07:01:10 PM
Perhaps I've always been a lone ranger, which sometimes makes me feel lonely. I'd like to connect with cryptocurrency investors from around the world and share our insights and experiences.
Maybe you are referring to Bitcoin as mainstream coins? If that is the case then it's good, I mean since this community is obviously focusing on it as the name implies and with a lot of us here into BTC, then I suggest you try it yourself instead of meme or hype coins.

As for altcoins, I do agree, just look at the top 5 or 10 coins in the marketcap right now. Like ETH, BNB, ADA, and invest on them in the long run though, it might be best thing that you will do in crypto, just saying.

its time for another pizza day but reversal this time, lm selling 2 papa John's pizza for 1 Bitcoin. BTC
Interesting.

This is 2023. There is too much information about bitcoin and cryptocurrency and everyone is smart enough now. So unless the 2 papa John's pizza is made of gold or some precious earth material, no one is going to buy them for even half a bitcoin.

But good one.

Hahaha, if a papa John's Pizza is made with gold, how will you eat it?
Anyway, this period, I don't think anyone will fall in that trap, so op try another pattern.
Lol, but as others have said, no one is going to fall for this scam. I mean this is 2023 already, we already seen what the value of bitcoin. It was really experimental what Laszlo Hanyecz back in the day and even with Lightning Network to prove a point.

But common, $26k=2 papa Johns Pizza in 2023?

Nah!!!

^Why you are using VPNs if a casino is allowed in your country? Or you can freely open the website.
Why do people break rules and cry foul when it is time to face the consequences.

If you are in a region where gambling is allowed, why use a VPN to access a casino? If you are in a region where gambling is not allowed and it is also against the rules of the casino to access their website using a VPN, why use it? When it is time to verify your account and you need to submit you KYC, what are you going to do then?

Maybe the only place where a person can get away with using VPN for a casino is in a casino that doesn't require address verification and an ID check.
Perhaps they think that they can get away with VPN and then continue to play. But once the casino has found what you are doing then, obviously, they will have to check everything once you withdraw some of your winnings.

So I don't believed that there are VPN friendly casinos though, I mean yeah, they might be saying that they are allowing it. But maybe if you used it where you resides to a country that they are ban, then you might have a problem later.

795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 14, 2023, 01:48:19 PM
Australia is looking to ban credit card usage in online gambling. The reason they give is that Australia loses 25 billion dollars only in gambling in a year. That is a big amount indeed.

Imho that is a stupid move and no one gonna support that. First of all, bank cards - that is something that is under control so far. If they ban card usage in online gambling, gamblers would find a way to make deposits anyway, but that will cause of shady economy increase. Second - they are limiting card users right, they are limiting bank incomes from card usage. How they gonna cover bank losses? Third - what does "Australia loses 25 billions bucks" means? Maybe bank clients have spend 25 billions on gambling? Not saying that all of those 25 billions were spent on foreign gambling sites, but some of these 25 billions were definitely spend on Australia gambling sites. Which means Australia gain income tax from that. I doubt that government would accept to decrease budget revenues.
It's going to be a big lost to the gambling industry in Australia if they have this kind of bill. I guess they just want to protect Australians who become so addicted already that those people might be going a lot just in order to pay their debts.

But there are still land base casinos in Australia so I guess this bill will not help the gamblers per se, as they can just continue with their gambling addiction and maybe taking a loan from someone is. So for me, it's not going to be an effective measure in the long run.
796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 12, 2023, 01:32:48 PM
Hello Kawhi Leonard.
Sources: NBA likely to pass tougher rules on resting stars
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/38380166/sources-nba-likely-pass-tougher-rules-resting-stars
Quote
The NBA is expected to pass more stringent rules and punishments to limit the resting of star players for nationally televised and in-season tournament games and instances of multiple All-Stars sitting out individual regular-season games, sources told ESPN on Monday.

The NBA's competition committee recommended a plan that the league's board of governors is expected to approve Wednesday. It would ultimately give the league office authority for greater oversight over discipline for missed games and an ability to fine teams over $1 million for each instance of violating resting rules, sources said.
If ever this is approved, no more load management. He must find a good reason if ever he wants to take a rest. The same with Kyrie Irving who shouted about the back-to-back games that he doesn't want to play.
Looks like the NBA is wearing its fangs to this type of behavior. The chances of the team management as the culprit for resting there are high and I'd agree that they should be the ones who should be fined if their players are behaving unnaturally even though they are able to play. It's given that they want to protect their assets but what about the fans who are expecting to see their stars on the day they are able to watch and yet they cannot be seen anywhere?
It's bad for business, NBA business. Cheesy

This is some rule I'm finding it very hard to come to terms with, what's the issue with a team resting their stars ?, probably for tougher for fixtures ahead or the so called work load management, you have some guys playing back to back, about 4 games in a week on the road sometimes, how do you expect these players to keep up for an entire season without fatigue setting in or becoming more prone to injury, I understand that this could be a move towards cubbing match fixing and making every penny some fans pay to come watch some big teams only for them to find out that it's their rotation team that's gracing the court. Despite the amount of rest these supposed stars get, you see how many games they miss being out injured, and playing the post season through one discomfort or the order, NBA might need to work on a more flexible schedule for this teams before prioritizing some supposedly resting rules for humans, not robot, nor aliens.

Yes, and we really don't know how started it, maybe it has been done way before Kawhi. It's just Doc Rivers was the first one to speak about it and that's why it highlighted Kawhi with it. But I do agree that did shouldn't be done in the first place by any coach or team. I mean there are fans who paid expensive tickets and it's a disappointing that when they come to see and watch the games, the superstars are nowhere to be found? Haven't they seen Kobe, in which he broke his fingers and trainer Gary Vitti pops it back in in live TV? Damn (RIP Mamba), where are those kind of players now? All of them with huge contracts are being pampered.

I just can't stop myself commenting on it, stars nowadays are more concern with the money and so with the managements, they value their investment and forget about those fans who bring them the money.

Though I don't know what might be the impact and how things will be done in this upcoming season but
if executed it the right way, it will give fans much better watching live experienced knowing that the value
of the tickets they bought will let them see their idols live and not just sitting beside the bench.
We really can't compare eras and the mentality of players, sure others before Kawhi really wanted to play hard and that's why we have iron man like John Stockton and AC Green who just missed a couple of games throughout their carreer.

But now since teams are offering good amount of money, they will have to protect their assets and have a good return by resting them in some games specially if the games have no barring at all.
797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Difference Between Plying Gambling on Online Sites and Real Casinos? on: September 12, 2023, 12:17:55 PM
In my country there are no casinos operating because it is an illegal activity. However, many online gambling sites operate and have many users from our country. So, even though I often play on online gambling sites, I have absolutely no experience playing gambling in real casinos. I often watch YouTube about gambling in real casinos, especially about slot machines. I noticed that in real casinos, slot games do not have a buy free spins feature

Do you have experience playing at real casinos and online gambling sites? Is there a difference playing there? I want to know.
Just sad though to hear that as a gambler, you haven't had that experience to go to a land based casinos. Traditional casinos though are obviously lots of people, and there could be some live band playing and there are free drinks and other freebies that you can have specially if you are a big whales and high rollers. Of course, since  there are other gamblers around, you can talk with them as well even though you don't know them.

As compare to online gambling wherein you are just alone, maybe in the comfort or your living room or bedroom. No noise and somewhat you are very private as you are just alone playing whether slots or any other table games.
798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 12, 2023, 10:52:30 AM
I'm not really viewing Takuma as a threat because he doesn't have that one punch like his brother does.

We should disregard Takuma Inoue being the younger brother of Naoya Inoue when it comes to analyzing the fight.

Instead, we can consider saying that Takuma might not be a threat to Ancajas because of;

a) fighting experience
b) not a Knock Out specialist
c) the WBO Bantamweight title he owned was vacant prior

But personally for me, threat or not, I don't want to think that Takuma Inoue should be an easy fight for Ancajas. He is now a champion and will defend his first-ever WBO Bantamweight title in front of his fellow countrymen. It will fuel more to unleash his best performance as a champion.

Right, weighing the options whom to bet while also thinking that Takuma got the name of an Inoue as he is the younger brother will somehow cloud our judgement and that will not help us in determining which player got more chances because having the Inoue name will somehow speak louder rather than knowing the real facts to give our bets a better chances.

Although, I couldn't help but think what does Takuma felt? I mean, people will always see him in Naoya's shadow because they both share the same name and people will always compare them because they are opposite. To say the truth, I know that it doesn't feel right but that is his reality as they are both in the same industry.
I guess he can't do anything about it, the stigma will be there him and his brother being compared. It's not that first time though that we have seen brothers in boxing, we have the Charlo brothers as well, but only Jermell is the active one.

But to get out of that stigma, I guess what Takuma should do is to just fight and win, simply as that. Of course, he can set this goal to be undisputed, but it's going to be very difficult as there are a lot of great champions in this division. And unless he has the power like his brother, gonna be hard for him, just saying.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope is all I have left on: September 12, 2023, 10:19:51 AM
The world are seriously facing the economy challenge's that all also affect our traditional business today and even here in cryptocurrency market that is also experiencing bearish market, never give up in cryptocurrency is just a matter of time crypto market we recovered back, which taken bold step investing little is not wast of time or resources and is good to keep hope alive while keep holding and buying little you can.
It's obvious though, market have been in a up and down state, and we have what we call cycles. We might be in the bear market, but rest assured that in the next coming years, it will completely change to a bullish one specially after that halving. And that what's separate crypto or at least bitcoin to the rest of the traditional market.

As far as owning bitcoin, it's a long process as well specially for the majority of us here, we are average joe. But it doesn't mean that we cannot do it, it will take a lot of mental toughness and of course money to invest and then to make profits in the future.

What's really the hold up in the price rising because earlier this year some see the price to be above the current price even up to $40-$45k and up till now is like there's something holding it and who's holding at the moment has given up.
What's the best advise to be given to investors who thinks the next bull isn't coming anytime soon but from next year?
To me I still have faith on this whole weak market price with the way it seems Bitcoin price can start rising starting from this week, not a prophecy or something is just keeping the hope up high.

If you have that trust better to buy and hold while the price is still cheap, if your analysis is right, then expect to earn decently once the market begins to pump back and rally high.
Yes, just like in the last 24 hours, prices are down again and what's scary is that we are in the lows $25k, been a long time since we have since this price though. On the other hand, as you have said, best to acquire and then just hold it for a while or at least wait for the bull run next year. Exciting times ahead.

All depends on how you trust and understand the market and how willing you are in case that another
dump takes place, how you will survive and how decide your investment.
Regarding the bull run, history hasn't failed as yet, so I do not think that you have to worry about what if the next bull run is not going to come. If that is the case they still though, good to hold and acquire cheap bitcoin, and just wait for it to go up.
