Since someone already asked, don't think you can be wise and try to get double dividends by moving shares around.

I will not process transfers mid-dividend across exchanges. On Wednesdays/Thursdays, don't push any shares to me until you have received your dividends.

After much planning and preparation, I'm proud to announce that Havelock & TAT Investments will be providing a new venue for you to trade full shares of ASICMINER.

This asset works much like ASICMINER-PT on BTCT.co, with total support for importing & exporting of direct shares as well as ASICMINER-PT & G.ASICMINER

This passthrough also pays 100% of dividends!

Launch Date/Time to be announced soon! Imports are being accepted immediately!

As part of this launch the other fractional passthrough, named ASICM, will be renamed to AM100, to make the names more informative:
AM1 = Full Shares
AM100 = Fractional Shares
NOTE: None of the fractional shares are currently eligible for importing into this new asset (TAT.ASICMINER, nor AM100).

Full details here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=253673.0

Fantastic news!

So what is the advantage of this one compared to bitfunder and btct.co ? And what kind of profit will TAT get ?

The advantage over BitFunder is that the trade fees are lower, and the export restrictions are better at Havelock.

The advantage over BTCT & BitFunder is that I will allow importing of other PT shares (ASICMINER-PT & G.ASICMINER) without having to go through Friedcat first.

Havelock is paying me a small fee to manage the asset in order to have it on their exchange. There are no management fees against dividends.

I predict .025 for today's div.

it could be more, there are a lot of USB miner sales...

there are a lot, but how many are we talking about?  5,000? 10,000?

Mining revenue is .013
5,000 USBs adds .011 for a total dividend of .024
10,000 USBs adds .022 for a total of .035

MAYBE 10K sold, but I think the number is closer to 5K.

Im kind of surprised that the 24 hour value has remained below 4.5.  I thought for sure with the coming announcement on the new blades, a nice dividend expected, and being that it is d-day, that people would go crazy and this thing would shoot to 5 easy.  Not that I am upset over it, on the contrary, but people get so crazy with speculative news my assumption was a decent uptick.

Everyone is out of btc!

Please note that this week the ticker symbol for ASICM will be changed to AM100.

This will not affect anything about the asset other than the ticker symbol.

Thanks!

+1 There's no reason why you can't ask FC to please post his answers himself.
There is a very small line to seeing how easy it would be for a man with 5000+ shares knowing that hardware or statements won't come for another 3 weeks to try and take advantage of the information before the market knows of it - example: yesterday, AM trades at 4.6, now trading for 4.2.)

He was already told he could reply on the forum or directly to me, whichever he preferred.

Beyond that, I think everyone needs to keep in mind that Friedcat already communicates info to shareholders much more than any other business of its size, and I'm not going to lean on him to do things he doesn't chose to.

Also keep in mind that ALL board members hold 5000+ shares, not just PT operators, or myself. Selling anything below 5000 makes you no longer a board member.

Lately, people want to blame every price swing on manipulation, and now on insider trading. This is paranoia towards that which you can't control.

The price rose violently in the past few weeks, volatility is inevitable, not a conspiracy.
814  Economy / Securities / Re: S.MG - The Ministry of Games. on: July 09, 2013, 04:30:16 PM

A game be released, yet not be ready for final judgment. This is a work in progress, and likely will be released as one as well.

Since the Internet it's rare that anything actually ever gets "finished" anyway. Actually, in the case of artwork this had been happening for centuries. Masters repainted their work over decades.

But it needs to be far enough along in development that all the essential functionality is there. If you release a buggy unusable piece of garbage then it will turn off potential players, even if you make huge improvements later.

There goes their plan to release a buggy unusable piece of garbage! You are such a party pooper!

Has anyone spoken with friedcat via PM recently? I'd like to transfer my shares to ASICMINER-PT, but he hasn't answered my PM yet. Sent it last night, so maybe I'm just impatient.

I believe transfers are usually done twice a week: on sunday and before the dividends go out.

That is incorrect. Traditionally, Friedcat will make news announcements on Wed/Thurs. However, he has been less consistent of late.

We submit poll questions to him roughly every 3 weeks or so, which he usually answers in roughly 1 week after.

Looks like some more manipulation going on with the the PT's on btct.

Is someone ever just selling off? Or is every price movement manipulation now?
817  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 09, 2013, 01:21:41 PM
1) congratulations on your board seat, maybe now you can consider giving people the option of moving shares out of TAT (maybe for a fee?)

2) I would much rather friedcat post updates in the forum himself, otherwise this precisely becomes insider information (particularly in the hands of someone with that many shares - and you just mentioned your private shares aside from the passthrough you're offering right?)

1) As I've stated in the past, I won't even consider exporting of TAT.AM/ASICM shares if the asset doesn't hold well over 5000 shares. Even then, if the service was added, it would have fees attached. However I will have other news you might like soon.

2) I understand, but this is the way he chooses to respond and I can't make him do otherwise. As is, I had to reach out twice to get the response at all. He is busy, and I'm not interested in nagging him about how he behaves. Regarding whether this info is a trading advantage, that "advantage" is something all of the other AM PT operators have had for months as board members. Only now am I the same as them. Will it turn out to be a real advantage? I have no idea, nor is it my concern. The biggest advantage is getting to be a part of the crew, in whatever small way I can.
818  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 09, 2013, 04:09:37 AM
That leaves one question regarding the Board Seat now I want answered sometime not today though but when you have more info  Grin

You forgot to ask a question Wink

Also, I should clarify that TAT.AM / ASICM have not achieved a full board seat yet (they are at about 70% currently). This is not really relevant at the moment, since no tangible board member benefits actually exist yet.

That said, if such tangible benefits do come about before TAT.AM / ASICM reach a full board seat, it is extremely likely that I will share them as best I can anyway Wink
819  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 09, 2013, 03:56:59 AM
one question - comes Havelock Investments not in consideration?

Because Havelock wouldn't allow this crap most likely...

Are you seriously naming whatever this is AM? As if you weren't enough of an ASICMINER wanna-be already...   Roll Eyes

In other news, Friedcat has also officially confirmed my new status as a board member!

I am truly honored and proud to have achieved this, and I look forward to playing any role I can to further ASICMINER's success.

I don't think anyone can or should seriously consider ThickAsThieves opinion of Active Mining as unbiased given his vested interest in ASICMINER.

My opinions of AMC go back much further than my vested interest in ASICMINER. While I have no way to appear unbiased at this point, all I can say is that I truly believe my criticisms would exist regardless. I have kept much more quiet on my criticisms than I would prefer, but honestly I already know I can't get in the way of forces that blind many investors. Good luck to you all really, for I really do hope Ken prove sme wrong. I simply believe it is extremely unlikely.
820  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMiner Quarterly Report (Investor’s Take) & News [UPDATED 06/20] on: July 09, 2013, 03:43:52 AM
OFFICIAL UPDATE

I have some news for everyone after a brief e-mail exchange with Friedcat. He has answered the 3 questions I submitted from our recent poll below:

Quote
-- There was news about a presentation by Rockxie about ASICMINER. Can you confirm this was an official presentation and summarize the news that was shared about upcoming plans for the mining farm and the Mini Blade?
Friedcat: They are true, though some projected dates from our side were more-or-less overly determined in his presentation.

-- When can we expect the first financial report?
Friedcat: We are asking board members if July 23 is acceptable.

-- Could Bitfountain provide an official live hashrate meter from ASICMINER for your mining farm, or could you periodically confirm the current hashrate?
Friedcat: Yes. Our internal management system is towards its completing. Directing the data to a public webpage is easy.

In other news, Friedcat has also officially confirmed my new status as a board member!

I am truly honored and proud to have achieved this, and I look forward to playing any role I can to further ASICMINER's success.
