If block rewards are cut that much mining is over.

Yeah, they have eips for both the fees and reduce block reward and if eth 2.0 iws released then half reward will be for pos users and half for miners, hybrid.

that is why miners who will survive the next culling need x2 hashrate to stay alive. 1080ti to 3080 is an example.

those who have low hashrate card but do not have physical space to add more cards and those who do not have electrical space to add more load will be the first to go.

if eth is no longer profitable to mine, the eth mining reliant cards (amd) will be on life support.

3080 cards (nvidia) that will do well on other algo will do better than others hehe

You need cheap power, once eth is done theirs so much GPU power no matter how much power you have your margins will be very thin.

yup. crypto mining is monetizing cheap power, plus gear management.

gear management involves "strategic upgrades" among others..

just get what is easily available, easily warranty-able in your location.

i have motherboard mining right now circa 2007-2008 model LOL

Now on the 3090, 1219 memory clock, so 1219 * 8 * 2 = 19.5 gbps and to find bandwidth, 19.5 Gbps * 2 * 384 / 16 = 936 GB/s, 936 / 8 = 117 mhs on eth default clocks,  + 20% memory overclock, 24 Gbps * 2 * 384 / 16 = 1152 GB/s, 1152 / 8 = 144 mhs on eth, possible yeah.

It's a little higher than supposed to be, probably stock overclocked version to get 122mhs.

https://wccftech.com/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3090-impressive-mining-performance-122-mhs-ethereum/

So far, this is what we have on ethash.

 3090   1499  /  117 = 12.8 usd per mhs
 3080     699  /    95 = 7.3 usd per mhs
 3070     499  /    56 = 8.9 usd per mhs
 5700     400  /    56 = 7.1 usd per mhs
 5600 xt 279  /    42 = 6.6 usd per mhs
 5500 xt 199  /    28 = 7.1 usd per mhs

from the link..
Quote
The performance is based on stock numbers for the card

we'll see if my estimate 133.33mhs "efficient enough" tweak hits the spot...but still, it can probably do 150mhs at max tweak/power.

extra vram will consume extra power of course

at 133.33mhs x3 card rig will be 400mhs. comparable to x4 3080 rig, but much expensive. not worth the density vs x4 3080.

but if you think about it, it is still better purchase than "500mhs eth asic is 4689$ at 750w" hehe

We are in a situation that is not about price anymore, it's about commitment. I think ESP was the first POW/POS coin that had a great future but unfortunately is in the wrong hands. I will never forget their start when dev was online and here for us everyday.

newbs.. look at the roadmap, there are 7 stages..development didn't proceed to stage 2, actually stage 1 was never complete....aaand this project is about 1 year and a half already.

devs beards fooled you all  Cheesy

reading page 1, OP

so back to stage 1? that won't be finished..."again" LOL

There is nothing original ?! .. You are serious ?! loool ..

actually there is one original..."white paper" is in stage 2 RFLMAO! as if you don't know what you are doing and you might know in the future. jesus fucking christ! this shitcoin is hilarious hahahaha

Oh we have plenty of tits, just check out our NSFW subreddit  Wink : https://www.reddit.com/r/showmytitcoin/
Most of these posts are from real Titcoin users who have received TITs for showing their TITS.  Cool

If you would join our Discord you would see that we also have some tits over there.  Smiley

Oh btw. for Titcoin newbies I have created a simple tutorial that explains the process of buying and selling altcoins, which is pinned on our NSFW subreddit: https://github.com/titcoin/doc/wiki/Trading
Important part in the notes at the bottom:

Quote
It is advisable to never store any coins (Bitcoin or Titcoin) on cryptocurrency exchanges longer than necessary, because crypto exchanges often get hacked or go out of business. You should always store your coins in a software wallet on your own PC or mobile phone, where you have full control over it. Similar to the Titcoin wallet, there are also software wallets for Bitcoin, for example the "Electrum" Bitcoin wallet or various mobile apps.

This applies for all exchanges btw.

828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POW][IND] Indium - Argon2id Chukwa on: September 22, 2020, 06:49:25 AM
reeks of shitcoin, dead on arrival.
Shit-coins, this is pre-mined and over-priced, coins or/and tokens with coin-names,
that you can see in the top of coinmarketcap.com ...
Scam-shit, like WAVES, with large multimillions premine,
which was been issued by just one pre-issue transaction,
in genesis block, for realization a primitive trading-strategy "sell and fly"
(sell premined shit, and let it to fly in null, and moreover - into negative prices).

Indium (IND) have small premine, this coin is mineable, and most of all coins can be mined within many years.
Mainnet is alive, miners working, solo-mining on daemon - working,
mining-pools is working and paying instantly, transactions are confirming.

Yeap, this coin is not trading yet, and this seems like not useful coin,
but within 10 years, this can be traded and used - in many-many different places on the Earth.
Moreover, this is more deficitly, than bitcoins, right now.

Also, developers said in discord, about possibility, in future, to add POS + MN (Proof-Of-Stake + MasterNodes).
And LOL, within many years, maybe, even I'm myself, without knowledge programming, can implement this all.
Including DPOS (Delegated-Proof-Of-Stake), of course.
Just to do not let attack the staking-nodes, with staking balances on this,
by extract IP of this nodes from the list of peers in decentralized-network.

yea, i believe you. we will all be rich in time.. we will no longer need to worry about the price of KFC chicken bucket..mommy and daddy will not look at us the same way ever again Cheesy

but first we have to get the devs off cartoon network first. okay?

unnamed.exchange + (insert your shitcoin here) = what could possibly go wrong? LOL  Grin

UE seems like a solid exchange from what I have seen so far. They are honest about who they are and what they do. Sure they have a small listing fee (part of their strategy of getting a market share I suppose) so they list a lot of small coins ("shitcoins" you could say) but that doesn't mean that it's bad.  Wink  It's definitely a step forward coming from Yobit if you ask me.

hehehe everything is fine until they're not......newbs out there---> watch and learn  Cheesy

something has to pay the bills.

its the bread-and-butter business,   Wink
and i am just an exchange,  not a rating agency.

everything is bread and butter until you(retail traders/invest retards) becomes the bread and butter LOL

POS & POW working well, Dev is setting up a test for the PoS4 prototype, dumb trolls will be graved by every new improved release  Grin

PoS4? who cares? another plagiarized code from other coins? nothing is original here, even the new planned be logo is an ethereum wanna be look a like, typical shitcoin trap to unsuspecting newbs out there.

Sir, may I humbly remind you that this is Bismuth's development thread? I suppose developers are the ones most welcome to post here.

Others (especially the ones who hijacked this thread with constant complaints and whining) can safely go away whenever they want to, but, frankly speaking, as strange as it might seem, I personally would like the devs to stay...  Roll Eyes

FYI this is "announcement thread" not development thread. all these years in the forum, you still got it wrong LOL.

anyone that has something to say about this coin can say it here unless it is a "moderated thread"

I noticed it is called "announcement" thread. Thanks for pointing to the obvious. FYI de-facto this is a common name for altcoin development threads in Bitcointalk, aka threads which reflect the development progress, as well as provide feedback and concerns from the community.

However I absolutely agree anyone that has something to say about this coin can say it here. Note this refers to the developers too, their posts are as welcome as any other informative posts. I have never told someone should not post here, I just am amused by some members bashing the developers out from the thread where they provide most useful information.

P.S. A small note to the ones who complain - as you noticed many developers have left, and you are rightfully unhappy by that. But I assume the more valuable are the developers who are still on the project, working and enhancing it. As to me they deserve to be praised for that, instead of being bashed for the fact someone else has left.

development upwards or development downwards? development progress or development regress?

what useful information? the only useful information here is people losing money hehe

deserve to be praised?  ... sounds more like "entitlement" LOL people come to shitcoin threads to make money. no money - no praise you got that? plain and simple heheh
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What hardware to invest around 200k to? on: September 20, 2020, 11:20:12 PM
because gpu mining is altcoin mining not btc mining?

The same logic applies in the altcoin mining, you could say the same thing in a different way if someone posts these posts there, this is not really black or white it's more of a gray area since we don't have a board under the name (Altcoin + Bitcoin mining).

I am not very active in the Bitcoin Disscuion board, but if someone compares say the blockize of bitcoin vs any other altcoin, will that be off-topic? if so, do posts that compare the same thing in the Altcoin board get deleted because they contain information related to bitcoin which is off-topic as far as the altcoin board is concerned? Many questions that need answers.

Altcoin mining in this forum still happens in the altcoin section, while the bitcoin part of altcoin mining happens in the exchanges hehe

Comparing bitcoin to other coins in the bitcoin section of the forum will be used by shitcoin shills to shill their shitcoin, it will be a disaster.

While altcoins narrative in general is to be the next bitcoin, so it is okay.

Which are being deleted time and time again when I post them in the btc mining section.
-snip-

because gpu mining is altcoin mining not btc mining?

anyway, asic manufacturers mine and sell asics, same thing with the fpga sellers.

gpu manufacturers just sells their cards and does not compete with mining.

@OP

take a look at gpu mining history.

when new cards are released, did they ROI? now amd and nvidia are releasing their next gen gpus, what is the probability of ROI? you decide.

guy got 100 mhs using 250 watts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMVLTECQoZc

It's a good hashrate, but there's a choice to be made, maybe 2 5700xt hashing 54Mhs each one will be a better choice, with bios mod people are getting 56Mhs
Here in my country 2 radeon 5700 are cheaper than one RXT 3080 and it's easy to buy

I'll probably buy one if I have the chance with a reasonable price

The problem with 2x more video cards is management, twice more risers, twice more problems, twice more psu cables. The 3080 is easily the best buy, now yeah prices vary depending on the country but I believe once this turmoil is over, things will get back to normal and the price of the 3080 will be very close to msrp which in turn will make it attractive again.

mining rig:

1 psu: 10-12 years warranty               (enough pcie for 1200-1600w models)
1 motherboard: 2-3 years warranty     (3-4 pcie slots are common)
1 ram: lifetime warranty
1 boot disk: cheap, can be usb, ssd hdd.
1 processor: very high chance it won't have problems
3-4 risers: easy management

note: typically psu will run their best efficiency at 50% load, 3080 @ 100mhs 250w is 750w. with 1600w psu is very near the peak efficiency of psu, of course just tweak it out for personal preference but the setup is within the range of peak efficiency curve

Yeah I agree with everything you said, you do your homework ehhe, still, mining is a lot of work, I prefer trading, much more money and risks too. The warranty if honoured makes things easier to roi.

you as a trader is wise to monitor the mining world hehehe, what happens in the "trading dimension" (where is full of shit and "abstract-manipulative-secret" words) correlates with the "mining dimension" ...in short, "mining dimension" is "one of the signals" where a trader should watch  Grin

10% faster, 100% more money hehe, i'm out from that.

that's why i said, with mining if you ROI 50% of 3090 price you are already a winner.

pros
 - enough vram for upcoming games
 - 10% more gaming performance
 - no need to wait for 3080ti 20gb
 - at 50% ROI, it will look like you just bought 3080.

note: this is at 1 piece gpu, your personal gaming PC.
