821  Other / Meta / Re: How to secure account on bitcointalkforum on: July 23, 2018, 10:05:53 PM
Wow do you know the exact date sir when will be launched ?
It had already launched in the beta but I guess the work to release it as an open source forum software is still in progress. You can get more information here : http://epochtalk.org/ and here: http://epochtalk.org/map.html Should you wish to follow the repo : https://github.com/epochtalk/epochtalk

There is no ETA when we would officially migrate from SMF to EPOCH-TALK considering all the new implementations are still done on this forum.
822  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this Legenday the main account of those abusers? 1 alt also missing red tag on: July 23, 2018, 09:56:24 PM
I did miss tagging the WhiteShum account for some reason, but I've corrected that error.  Sadly I'm not sure how much that will impede him from joining bounties, since the ones I've seen don't even exclude DT-tagged members from joining.  You'd think if the neg was for abusing bounties, they'd open their eyes but that doesn't seem to be the case.
It's quite easy for these farmers to just create a new account and join the bounty again even if removed by a bounty manager for the negative tag. Bitcointalk forum, posting are least of their concerns. As long as they are allowed to post their social media links in a bounty thread, they have nothing to care for. I bet some of these accounts tagged don't even know there is something called as a trust system here.
823  Other / Meta / Re: Can't access this forum while using a VPN (for the past 2 days) on: July 23, 2018, 09:50:31 PM
Just to mention and for future reference: If in future your friend does some spamming on the forum and by any chance, the IP gets blacklisted, you will also be unable to use the forum using the same IP address without paying the evil point removal fees. So it's better you get a VPN which allows on-demand dynamic IP's.
That's not true. The whole evil units thing just appears when you are registering a new account. Not if you already have an account and just want to login.
Oh don't you think the tech is broken then? You just need to create one account from an unused, not evil IP address and then you're good to access it from as many blacklisted IP addresses as possible? Thanks for correcting me.
824  Other / Meta / Re: Can't access this forum while using a VPN (for the past 2 days) on: July 23, 2018, 09:28:45 PM
is it okay to use this forum with active vpn? because my friend often borrow my laptop and returned with vpn position is still active, is it okay to use this forum with vpn is still active? please help me,
And as always, thank you Grin Grin Grin

825  Economy / Reputation / Re: Alt-account bounty abusers on: July 23, 2018, 09:23:16 PM
Added the archive links since the person changed their profiles
That's a good one. When you come across stuff with relevant proofs, instead of waiting for the DT, you have to Join the bounty group where these accounts are cheating and report them there openly. Bounty Managers are forced to take an action that way!
826  Economy / Reputation / Re: My Account was Accused of Account Farming by MoneyToken Auditor on: July 23, 2018, 09:20:22 PM
Now I'm curious to know who is the auditor and whether they have the sufficient proofs for the connections mentioned above. Also Op, please remove his/her facebook link from your post and edit the pictures as you're invading their privacy policies without their consent.

Your only job now is to ask for proofs from the auditor. If he refuses to give it to you, you can appeal to the project managers/ higher management team.
827  Economy / Services / Re: Seeking Core Team Members for Great project on: July 23, 2018, 09:15:31 PM
freelancer suck they dont want to build something, they want to sell their time, he is seeking for a core developer team not money earning cattle.
That's why they get the term "freelancer"? Makes sense to you now? Moreover, no freelancer should be hired as a core team member for the obvious reasons. It's a very risky business for any developer to become a core team member. Their salary is not fixed, there is no guarantee the idea will ever blow up and find investments. Simply put, it's a waste of their time and efforts.
828  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 21.5 BTC TAKEN BY SPORTSBET.IO on: July 19, 2018, 03:49:18 PM
Hey guys,
Whilst posting in this thread might raise a few eyebrows, the accusation by this ex-forum member has continued to be an issue for our trust rating and reputation here on the forum for some time.
Aren't you operated by the same agency that runs bitcasino.io and vegascasino.io? Both are shady gambling sites with a number of scam accusations against them. Who is AnthonyBTCAgency on skype? Is that a common entity between all these sites?
829  Other / Meta / Re: why was i banned.... on: July 18, 2018, 04:57:15 PM
the process making my account not able to do signature bounties which is a huge loss....
The campaign manager who'd accept you for a signature bounty should be banned along with you.
830  Other / Meta / Re: why was i banned.... on: July 18, 2018, 04:51:04 PM
why are you being rude .... lol
I literally asked for an appointment with you in the nicest way possible.

theres literally a thread for bounties whats wrong with me doing bounty work to promote legit ICOS .... relax man im not killing people or doing anything wrong here jeeze
If you say so. Let's wait for mprep/hilarious to tell what exactly you were banned for. Killing people is more productive and interesting of a task than bounty whoring. Grin

(By no means I endorse killing people)
831  Other / Meta / Re: why was i banned.... on: July 18, 2018, 04:37:02 PM
what is going on with this website honestly...... im just working doing bounties during school and i get banned for low post quality? wtf am i not allowed to do bounties on BOUNTY THREADS ? i literally only post work and dont get do bad posts in other threads or anything.....
why do i get a 15 day ban for doing work on a website... i actually dont understand
Bounties are not a privilege. The forum should not be taken for granted.

can a mod PM me and we can fix this
Sure, could you tell us what hours in a day work for you?  Given your busy bounty hunting schedule, you must be a very occupied person.
832  Other / Meta / Re: Unblock please on: July 18, 2018, 03:29:50 PM

Man, what translation software do you guys use? Like I can't imagine your translation software makes spelling mistakes. Though my assumption is you're banned for plagiarism, your account also has too many red flags. For instance,

Hello, I need a bot for the site golos.io who will vote for the posts of those who leave the bot name in the comments under this post such a thing is possible to do?
^^ There you go blog bounty cheater.
833  Economy / Reputation / Re: Forum Ranking Downgrade on: July 18, 2018, 03:25:13 PM
I have encounter some participants for my signature campaign registered as a Member rank, and few weeks later upon checking, their ranks gets down to jr. member?
You shouldn't manage signature campaigns if you can't keep spammers out. I just checked your post history, and can only conclude you're responsible for a large part of the spam on this forum.

Don't let Mods do YOUR job for you!
I have been managing one of the altcoin campaigns recently. Oh boy, it's a whole another world out there. The campaign is almost at the end of it but the time I have spent with the bounty participants is the worst time I have ever had on the forum.  I mean they're used to managers like the OP and when they're exposed to the real side of spam/plagiarism free management, they think their bounty rights have been invoked. Literally, people can't spell "stakes", I'm haunted by the unusual "stackes","streaks","sticks","steks" words in my telegram inbox.
834  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Porn Coin Vol. 1: Why you shouldn’t invest in adult startups on: July 18, 2018, 03:14:15 PM
I'm still waiting on an explanation for Why shouldn't one invest in adult start-ups. It's a hellova niche market with golden business opportunities, also an ever demanding market I may add. Xotia.tv or whatever that website was called certainly took it to another level. The companies you mentioned operated fraudulently, doesn't mean their idea had no potential. I mean if it didn't have the potential, they wouldn't raise anything.
835  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Online payments and cryptocurrency on: July 18, 2018, 03:08:01 PM
The solution is to create an infrastructure where the parties exchange without intermediaries.
The service that offers the infrastructure is THE intermediary! Take localbitcoins for instance, it's totally a peer to peer platform but in case of an issue between two parties, the final decision is left to them. They act as facilitators between two parties. Unless the dependency of a centralised facilitator exists, it's difficult to achieve decentralization.
836  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please Help! Spectrocoin.com is holding my money on: July 18, 2018, 03:00:35 PM
The chances of getting your money recovered from Sepectrocoin are quite less. They're a fraud business as you might have noticed their feedback on the forum.Owner can be reached on this profile : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=317543 You could have just googled for their reviews to know if they can be trusted with money.
837  Other / Meta / Re: Require a small amount of merit to become a Junior Member on: July 18, 2018, 02:53:22 PM
I'm trying to code a bot which automates my daily reporting tasks. The only problem is, there are no set of steps that I could establish which will be performed repeatedly by the bot.
If you can pull this off, can I feed your bot reports too?
Basically, what the bot does is -> Logins into my account -> checks for recent posts by the newbies, and if the length of the post is lesser than say 5 words, or just have a link, it reports them. Now, the bot can be programmed to do whatever we want after it logs in. I'm not sure what you mean by feeding the reports.

Quote
Considering I somehow manage to create a bot that does mass accounts reporting on basis of any set of criteria that I define
The criteria will have to change a lot.
I can quite easily list thousands of Newbie posts that could be reported as "Insubstantial post", and thus deleted. But doing this manually would drive me crazy, so I only dump lists of spamming accounts once in a while.
If you can establish a sort of pattern common to all of the newly created accounts, we can program the bot to act on those defined conditions. It would really automate the manual reporting process.

Quote
mods would still need an automation from there side to handle say daily 500 reports generated by the bot.
There's MindlessElectron, although I don't know what it does exactly.
Need to ask Mitchell!
838  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing TheButton.co - be the last presser and win! on: July 17, 2018, 11:29:37 PM
9% to the developers is massively too high if you want this game to achieve any sort of success.
Not really. I'm pretty sure there is more than one coder doing the work. Although if this experiment turns out as a great success then maybe a 5% allocation would actually make sense. I think the terms should be conditional based on the money raised. Interesting project though.
839  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT ] Scam " messicoin ( MSC)" - Fake team from stock image !!! on: July 17, 2018, 11:21:28 PM
I wonder why they're so dumb to use photos from free stock images websites and then think nobody will notice it. There is no need to make a reverse image to check.
And if they think they will be fine with removing the photos once exposed (which they usually do) then there is always the google cache to use (considering the site is indexed of course)
The next generation will use The Care Bears photos to represent the team
Investors are dumber. If not called out by people like OP, they would never bother to do their own research. Even though this ICO will be flagged as a scam and a feedback would be left, there are still chances they would make money out of it. That's how their business works. Their victims are not the 60% of smart asses but the remaining 40% who get introduced to cryptocurrencies every-day with a hope to get rich. The only possible solution to put a stop on this is awareness.
840  Other / Meta / Re: Looking for the funniest trust feedback. on: July 17, 2018, 11:12:19 PM
Not sure if this one counts as funny but definitely counts as retarded. I know he had mental issues and stuff but this feedback is way too off, I mean I have no idea what pills have he had been swallowing. (Just so you know, I haven't met this guy in real life)
