861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: November 24, 2023, 12:43:32 PM
I agree and would like to re-iterate that yes, it is the child who will decide but in the end parents could (or should) bring the information to their children then allow them to decide if they want to learn more.

For example, if a parent thinks they learning about medicine/pharmacy, electronic engineering or rally car racing is going to benefit their children, it is their decision to teach their children about it and then leave it to the children to decide if they want to learn more.

Can we agree that as adults and parents it is our responsibility to educate our children on any topic and subject that we deem to be important? If Bitcoin is something we as parents have concluded is important to the future of our children, then we have an obligation to bring that information to their knowledge. After that, it is for the children to decide if they want to follow up to learn more or otherwise.
Even if the parents see Bitcoin as important knowledge for the future of our children, the child will still be the one to decide if he wants to learn or not. I'm not saying that telling your kids what you know about Bitcoin should not told to them, it's a good idea actually, but if there's no sign of showing interest, let them decide what is good for their future. Parents will only be their guide and the ones who will help them if needed.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: November 23, 2023, 09:30:31 AM
There can be no doubt Chelsea are improving and even though I think they will still lose more games as the season moves forward.

Their best chance of a trophy will be a knockout competition because the Premier League is out of reach. If they won the FA Cup and managed to finish in the top five (because that might be enough to gain a Champions League place under new rules), then it would be classed as a good season for them.

To be fair, Chelsea is improving with some positive recent results. However, I think challenging for the top 4 this season will be quite difficult for them. In my view, if Chelsea can address a few points soon, there might still be a chance for them.
- Firstly, learning to control big games is crucial because they have challenging matches ahead against Newcastle United, Brighton, and Manchester United.
- Secondly, the attack needs to maintain consistent form, especially Nicolas Jackson. His inconsistent performance is a concern for Chelsea fans.
- Lastly, building continued confidence with the supporters is vital. They've somewhat reassured fans with recent good performances, especially showcasing the enthusiasm of new players, something Chelsea lacked before.
863  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Stealing $22k and Banning my Account on: November 21, 2023, 08:47:29 PM
Yes with the manner in which the OP burst on the scene with the allegation, he probably would have posted an update if he did not receive a reply from the Rollbit representatives.

Having said that, if the OP was that eager to make the allegation to seek support from forum members, he should have posted an update. Maybe it was resolved in his favour but how it went remains unknown. I know Rollbit Razer did state he could not comment further therefore it is highly unlikely he would post on the matter again.

I personally think OP's fund had been processed, be it partially with the tainted coins being deducted from his balance, or wholly without any coins being confiscated. Razer's last reply said that all we can do is wait, and OP went silent after it. I think he'll be at least a bit antsy if there's still no update after two more weeks.
864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 23rd December 2023 on: November 21, 2023, 01:35:59 PM
No matter how big and bulky any opponent might be, Fury can still use his size and weight to drain energy from opponents but Ngannou was the exception (probably because he was used to a different type of fighting skill in MMA).

I think Usyk will feel the pressure when Fury uses his body weight to try to bully him but maybe he will handle it like Ngannou because he himself is a brilliant boxer. When the fight takes place, it will all unfold.

That picture is from several years ago. Usyk has put on more muscle and gotten stronger since then. Fury likes to use his size and strength to bully his opponents. Ngannou showed that if you can neutralize those advantages Fury is a lot less effective. For Usyk, who normally weighs around 220 lbs, the disadvantages might be too significant to overcome.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: November 21, 2023, 12:58:22 PM
Here is the fixture list again for the games taking place on Saturday 25th November:

Manchester City vs Liverpool
Burnley vs West Ham United
Luton Town vs Crystal Palace
Newcastle United vs Chelsea
Nottingham Forest vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Sheffield United vs Bournemouth
Brentford vs Arsenal

If Chelsea manage to get the three points they will be taken seriously as top four contenders. Newcastle United have started playing better as the season progressed but so have Chelsea, I think Chelsea will win the game but I get the impression you think Newcastle United will win  Grin

I am also looking forward to watching Manchester City vs Liverpool, it should be a good game because both teams are capable of winning and whichever team wins will sit at the top of the Premier League table.

Next match for Chelsea could be another good one against Newcastle away.  Newcastle hasn't lost at home except vs Liverpool earlier in the season, conceding a couple of goals.  But take not that they conceded only three goals in 6 home matches and making 14 goals for themselves.

On the other hand, Chelsea has scored at least two goals in 5 of their last 6 matches so that's gonna make it really interesting for sure.  Wink
866  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake transaction accelerator that requires typing your seed phrase!!! on: November 21, 2023, 12:48:26 PM
Godaddy is a huge name in the domain and hosting field therefore I think it is a serious dereliction of duty that they continue to host a website that has been reported by multiple people over multiple days, all stating the same thing: it is a scam website.

You are probably right but even if they are outsourcing their customer support to contractors in different countries they are ultimately responsible for their actions. After all, they are paying their contractors to support their team and if they are not doing their job they should outsource elsewhere.

The issue of the scam website was reported to Godaddy on 17th November and today it is 21st November but the fake website has still not been taken down. I cannot think of any reason why any hosting company would not remove that website after taking a look at it and reading the reports of those reported it. This has to go down as a serious mismanagement of the situation by Godaddy.
I believe the reason that web hosts frequently fail to take down crypto scams (unless they are high-profile enough like Twitter 2020) when they are requested to by people like us is because they outsource their customer support to contractors in different countries, who have specific rules on what to escalate and ignore, so I have a feeling that these contractors are the ones ignoring the requests.
867  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit Stealing $22k and Banning my Account on: November 21, 2023, 12:39:34 PM
At this moment in time we have a scam accusation by the OP that has not been backed up in any capacity with evidence. He created account on 5th November 2023 and made two posts (both in this thread). After that he was last active on 8th November 2023 and was never seen again.

After Rollbit Razer advised us of the key information that the OP did not mention in his allegation, the picture is still not clear because at this moment it seems the OP has not been accused of wrongdoing but his account has been suspended while investigations take place. Another two weeks have passed therefore hopefully the OP will post with an update.
868  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake transaction accelerator that requires typing your seed phrase!!! on: November 21, 2023, 12:13:48 PM
Always remember it takes time; it's not instant. Looking into reports like this and dealing with them can be complicated. It takes time because the platform needs to check the details, find out who's behind it and decide on the best way to handle it. Sometimes they have many reports to go through so it might take a while to get to each case.
The issue of the scam website was reported to Godaddy on 17th November and today it is 21st November but the fake website has still not been taken down. Scammers like to take advantage of any crazy scenario that is on ground to scam people of their bitcoin. This is why they are using the high transaction fee problem to see how they can scam people by creating a fake bitcoin transaction accelerator and also reducing the fee to make it catch the attention of newbies and people that are in a rush to get their transactions confirmed, but the seed phrase is where they exposed themselves.
Yes, this has been discussed in the past they will take advantage whenever they can.

As we know, not all scammers plan their project for weeks or months in advance with huge planning, may are simply opportunistic therefore if there is any situation a scammer can take advantage of in order to scam, they will attempt it.
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: November 21, 2023, 11:59:58 AM
There is no doubt about whether Pochettino has managed to get the Chelsea players to become a unit that is among the best. The players are there, the manager is there and they have the backing of the owners and their fans therefore they have the base to build upon.

I do not know if Chelsea will finish in the top four but a glance at the Premier League table after the new year games have been played, we may see a strong indication of where the top six teams might be at the end of the season.

~snip~

If Chelsea can build on their recent positive displays and find solutions to their remaining challenges, they have the potential to challenge for top 4 in the Premier League this season. Their upcoming matches will provide further insights into their true character and whether they have indeed embarked on a sustained recovery phase.
870  Economy / Reputation / Re: mikeywith needs to grow a thicker skin regarding DT issues on: November 21, 2023, 11:48:23 AM
And you decided to take the opportunity to wake up your Saheedu account after 5 months of inactivity in the forum, just to make your post instead of using any of your more prominent accounts? Why did you not use any of those accounts, was it because you wanted to keep them away from the drama yet wanted to add to it in a different way?

Why does it feel like the DT member is filled children and clowns? A dude disagrees with you, you excluded him from your trust list delete the positive feedback from his profile and when he complained you ran to create your own thread. This just proves that both of you are fucking clown or kids or got their hands too early on the internet because none of you got balls. Why did you even create this thread? Mikey’s thread is not self-moderated which means you can air your opinion there without the fear of you being censored so why this thread? It looks like both of you just want attention from others.
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: November 20, 2023, 02:05:34 PM
Right now we do not know what the selection for the Euro 24 competition will be but Southgate seems to be stating that he would prefer to have Maguire (and therefore Henderson and Rashford) because of their team cohesion. He thinks they are a good group of players that have a good understanding and by bringing in other players in to the squad it could unsettle the existing camaraderie.

Personally, I think if you are good enough to be in the squad, you have to be selected. In the end it will be Southgate that will be judged after the Euro 24 tournament ends and I think he will leave the England job after it to take up a job in the Premier League.

It should not be in Southgate's choice. But I don't know if he's in the options, because I respect maybe he needs in his tactics. But if you look at the performance at Man United I wouldn't take him. Maybe I prefer Foden and Gearlish. They both have better performance. But if Foden and Gearlish are not brought in at Euro 2024 then it would be foolish. It seems that maximising Gearlish and Foden will be more successful than Rashford.

I have no idea why GoDaddy have not clamped down on this after the number of reports that have been made against it but it does not look good on their part.
Probably they didn't fully grasp the importance of our reports, despite some of us providing an in-depth explanation [unfortunately].
This is extremely unprofessional behaviour by Godaddy because I just checked again and the website has still not been taken down. If they have a fraud section that takes these complaints seriously they would be taking action. I am sure they have enough tools on hand to ensure the scammer behind the website is not allowed to register under a new name to create another Godaddy account for scamming purposes.

I'm surprised that scammers are quick to launch a sites for what's trending, transaction accelerators are in demand now, and I have this feeling that scammers are using keyword analysis on what's trending on the internet to create phishing sites to scam so if there's a new trend in the internet that is associated to Cryptocurrency expect scammers to create similar sites.
Scammers will always look to make money by researching on what people are discussing online. I am sure there are more of these types of websites out there.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: November 19, 2023, 12:39:41 PM
In some ways it is a welcomed break for the player to get away from the Premier League and play for the countries instead. The pressure of playing week in week out in the most exciting and competitive football league in the world cannot be overlooked. Some players will return with injuries or fatigue but others will be rejuvenated feeling fresh. I am looking forward to the games next weekend.

Why do you think Southgate has decided to omit Sterling from the England squad? He is in excellent form when playing for Chelsea. Sterling deserves to go to Euro 2024.

Rashford should not be playing for England because his form for Manchester United and England is simply not good enough. Also Henderson, how is he still part of the England squad?

I was about to make a post saying how I'm excited for the next fixtures thinking it was gonna be this weekend.  :/  Due to them being after the international break, some of them could become a bit more unpredictable.  And I hope nobody gets injured or gets a knock or something.
874  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake transaction accelerator that requires typing your seed phrase!!! on: November 17, 2023, 08:30:14 PM
Well, I have just checked again and can confirm that the website is definitely still operational. If this was Namecheap I am sure they would have blocked the domain within hours. I have no idea why GoDaddy have not clamped down on this after the number of reports that have been made against it but it does not look good on their part.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 17th FEBRUARY 2024 on: November 17, 2023, 05:43:19 PM
The odds could not be too heavily biased towards either when you look at what the bookmakers are offering because it will be a very close fight.

As far as those of us who have an interest in boxing are concerned, how many would be shocked if Usyk won the fight? I am going for a Fury win but only just, overall I think he should win the fight but Usyk could win because the two are finely balanced. Neither looked supremely good in their most recent fight therefore it became harder to make a selection.

Hmmm... It seems to me that any bet on Usik with odds higher than 2.1 is profitable. At the moment, Fury is much more hyped than Usyk plus he is the favorite so it can be assumed that bookmakers base their quotes on cash flow from betters. Therefore, I will assume that these quotes poorly reflect the sports balance of power where it seems that the chances are 50 to 50.
876  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake transaction accelerator that requires typing your seed phrase!!! on: November 17, 2023, 11:48:25 AM
The problem for victims is when there is a chance for them to make money, scammers will never cease to amaze. They are opportunistic and they will use anything they can to take advantage of any situation therefore avoiding higher transaction fees will always be something gullible people can fall for.

Unfortunately, the website is still operational, I hope it gets taken down soon.

Lol, these scammers never rest  Cheesy

Given the recent spike in Bitcoin Transaction fees, they are probably going to create more of this fake bitcoin transaction accelerators to pounce on unsuspecting newbies.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: November 17, 2023, 11:03:35 AM
In response to your question, I would state: Yes. I think Pochettino finally has his team playing fresh attacking football and they believe they can beat any team (that is how confident they are).

What do other members reading this think about Chelsea after their recent games against Arsenal and Manchester City? Have they have turned a corner and are now on the way up? There were fine margins, if they had held on to beat Arsenal and Manchester City most fans would be talking about a top four finish.

When Chelsea travel to Newcastle for the game on 25th November, I believe they will take all three points.

It is really the case for Manchester City. I agree with your opinion. When they face a fearless and capable team they are getting much bigger issues about winning the match. We have seen many examples of it including this one. To be honest Chelsea haven't looked that capable generally until this match. Because they were clearly having scoring issues mostly.

However we watched 4 goals from them once again this time against Manchester City with 11 players.  Grin  Can these results be a sign for Chelsea to have started the recovery phase? I really don't know. We need to see more like this to be confident of something about Chelsea.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 17th FEBRUARY 2024 on: November 17, 2023, 10:55:28 AM
The odds will change as and when the number of bets placed changes but it seems as though Fury is the favourite. What has to be mentioned is that he is definitely not overwhelmingly favourite and that is for two reasons. First, his display against Ngannou was nowhere near emphatic and second, Usyk has a real chance to win.

The odds I saw in box.live have a significant difference from those you've given. Where did you get those odds? Are those taken from a betting platform? In box.live the odds were 1.53 for Fury and 2.5 for Usyk. In Sportsbet, it's the same for Fury at 1.53 although lower for Usyk at 2.28. I'm for Fury in this fight. If I can find better odds for Fury like those that you've posted, I'd be interested to bet an outright. I really am not expecting an upset on this one.
879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ] The Unification Fight: FURY vs USYK 17th FEBRUARY 2024 on: November 16, 2023, 11:47:11 PM
This seems to be the case. I'm a little disappointed because this deadline gives time for the greedy belly to get into shape, but on the other hand it will be a fair fight when both boxers are in optimal shape and no one is underestimating anyone.

Fury will be the favorite, but clearly not the same as he would be without the fight with Ngannou. What do you think, starting from what odds will it be profitable to bet on: Fury, Usyk?
If the fight went ahead in December, I think Fury would not have been fit or focused enough to give himself the best chance to win but by February next year both Fury and Usyk should be in optimal shape. If the fight does go ahead this time, I do think Fury will remain as the favourite but both are undefeated in their professional careers therefore this really will be the biggest fight since Lennox Lewis defeated Evander Holyfield

Yeah, here is the full video of it, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYTVlz57uZk.

I do like the head butting, I thought that it will go on a brawl, but Usyk just keep himself cool and just laughing it off.
It was good to see Usyk not allowing Fury to dominate the press conference and yes the drama where their foreheads nearly started fighting, it was hilarious  Grin

These are the fixtures for the games taking place on Saturday 25th November:

Manchester City vs Liverpool
Burnley vs West Ham United
Luton Town vs Crystal Palace
Newcastle United vs Chelsea
Nottingham Forest vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Sheffield United vs Bournemouth
Brentford vs Arsenal

The game of the day has to be the early kick-off between Manchester City and Liverpool and whichever team wins will sit at the top of the table. If the game ends in a draw but Arsenal manage to win away at Brentford they will be top of the table. Another exciting game to watch when Newcastle United host Chelsea.
