881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin core, can’t send my BTC (not in memory pool) on: April 19, 2019, 09:39:18 AM
Hi man, I dumped private keys (there are 700+ not to include reserved addresses). So, regarding your question, - I've got transactions on multiple addresses.
I imported my keys to Electrum, but it's synchronizing already 24 hours. Is it ok?
No, that doesn't sound OK. Electrum is an SPV wallet, which means there is not really any synchronizing[1] needed, atleast not one that takes 24H.

Either you have a really crappy internet connection, or there's something wrong with either

I. your PC/Network settings/firewall,

II. your wallet. (Outdated, corrupt, (fake version?(unlikely)).
III. The server you're connecting to on Electrum itself. Please try switching that up as well.

Please verify that you're using the latest version of electrum, and that you're using the right version. (Checksum matching, verify the signature.)

Didn't read the fact that you have over 90k transactions...  Roll Eyes My bad. That could be a big factor in why it won't sync, but it's still something i've never heard happening before...
882  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: exchange paypal <---> bitcoin on: April 19, 2019, 09:34:59 AM
Rate: 1.00003635 BTC @ $5,272.46 gives you $5,272.20 may need skrill for this to work too and it can work anywhere. Account needs to be verified with the exchange, the exchange is popular one and currencies they accept is USD, EUR, RUB and more with lots of other cryptocurrencies such as BTC, XRP, TRX, ETH etc.

So basically i need to verify my ID before buying, (or do i just need to have a verified paypal account?)?

That kind of defeats the purpose paying with paypal in the first place. (I could just use Coinbase w/ a bank account and get the same rates as described?)

may need skrill for this to work too and it can work anywhere.
Is that a prerequisite? I deposit with skrill and withdraw through paypal?
883  Other / Meta / Re: Instructions on how to use BBCode on: April 18, 2019, 08:33:00 PM
Is this code for my signature correct? I copied it from the yolodice website but it does not display properly in the forum; the text is not clickable.

Code:
[center][url=https://yolodice.com/]Fast 1% Dice ░ Rakeback 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 Competitions ░ Exchange[/url][/center]

I believe signatures from newbies are made unclickable on purpose to reduce signature spam. Might be wrong though.

Private method to exchange paypal <---> bitcoin with any amount above $1.

https://shoppy.gg/product/8viWCBb

Should be moved to digital goods section.

Does this method involve buying giftcards from sites such as Cryptovoucher.io or P2P trading? Cause that's about all that i can think of..?

If this is really legit, i'd be willing to give you 10 quid, but only if you provided more info, such as the rates on this exchange, what countries/currencies/types of accounts they accept. (Although i highly doubt you actually found something worthwhile..)

Without that, this just looks like a poor scam attempt, and no one here is going to give you 10$.
885  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone knows whats going on with Bitcoinwisdom? on: April 18, 2019, 06:39:40 PM
This is so retarded. I didn't even know of their .io domain. They have been know to operate on their .com domain for years now, and all the SEO is boosting that domain in every possible way too.

They should add more features in order to make it more interesting and worthwhile to pay for, otherwise they'll end up abandoning their whole platform eventually. The few ads they generate revenue from is an absolute joke.

Tradingview has gained a lot of popularity with how basically every social media influencer uses it, and I have finally made the switch too. It offers way more features and customization options.

The bitcoin difficulty part of this website stopped working days ago. It is no longer updating.

https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

They abandoned this forum and gave up developing the site years ago. It wouldn't expect it to get fixed anytime soon.

.IO isn't directly affiliated with the .com domain i think.. Some people simply rebooted the project.

But yes, both of them do lack features compared to tradingview. I guess it's just some sort of nostalgia/cleanness which attracts me to them, as opposed to the abundance of features on tradingview, (most of which i'll never use anyway..)

886  Other / Meta / Re: Trust explanation in trust settings for improved forum peace on: April 18, 2019, 04:38:50 PM
Seems like a very good idea. I didn't really notice being added to DT2 for several weeks, until i used an external tool to see/watch trust lists.

The trust system as a whole is pretty esoteric, if you really want to understand it as a complete newbie, well, good luck, cause there really isn't a single "complete" guide which explains it from A - Z
(atleast not that i've found.)

Until that happens I suspect trust abusers will be called to answer for their observably untrustworthy actions on a regular basis, by those that wish to see the standards of free speech we have seen here over the years, continue.
For someone who calls others out for posting "low value noise", you're definitely not shy from doing it yourself...
Care to give any concrete examples of free speech being deteriorated for example?
887  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: paxful!!! timeframe on dispute???? on: April 18, 2019, 04:02:23 PM
If they are a high volume trader, they should be worried of what could happen to their account and possibly give in.
They probably won't even notice it if they're a high volume trader/ don't understand it.
I'm pretty sure english isn't the first language for the most sellers on paxful, and i really wonder how you can get a message like this across to them.

That's just my experience of sellers on paxful in general though. Might not apply on this case exactly, but...
888  Economy / Services / Re: [ANN] BTCANONMIXER.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler on: April 18, 2019, 02:02:47 PM
We are providing the lowest fee in the Industry. The service fee begins at 0.5% .[/center]
That's already false. Chipmixer offers 0%?

We wont store any info of our users , you dont need to provide us any information like Email or Name to use our services .
False again.

You're using cloudflare nameservers. [see https://who.is/whois/btcanonmixer.com] ]

I don't think you know what you're doing at all, and perhaps you shouldn't be in the business of running a mixer..

1) why are you using cloudflare's SSL certificate? You realise they're basically a MITM?
Even worse, they're also using their Nameservers, which means ALL of their traffic is directed through them.
889  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paxful sent my BTC to a different address? on: April 18, 2019, 01:43:15 PM
If bitcoins were sent into different address then you most likely do have that malware (clipboard) ones which have been known in the past.

Ive been asking too on the same thing on posting up some screenshots on where these funds being sent out so that everyone would compared on what part you went wrong.
This is most likely what happend. Maybe it wasn't exactly clipboard malware (since that is visible), but rather an addon on your browser which edited the input of the adress to theirs (1.. instead of the 3.. one), and modified the client side to make it look like you were still "sending" to your own adress.

They probably didn't care enough to also edit the data you received back from Paxful, (as that would require very specific headers to be changed(too much work for them)) hence why in the description the actual adress you were sending money to was shown.

If i were you, i'd at the very least run some virus scans, and check for malicious browser plugins?

Thank you, I have contacted support and they will have an admin inspect if anything went wrong on there part... if they find nothing then I guess I have some sort of malware? I don't know how I could possibly have something like that since I am very careful but I guess I could be wrong.
Yes. Please run some virus scans and check your browser plugins/addons.

891  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: paxful!!! timeframe on dispute???? on: April 16, 2019, 05:44:03 PM
I think you don't try to search for any information first before you decide to buy bitcoin from paxful. If you can search information about how to buy bitcoin with safe, then I don't think that you will use paxful and you will use localbitcoin because localbitcoin will be the best place for everyone to buy bitcoin with people which is near from their house. At least in localbitcoin, you will found many recommended seller which will help you to have bitcoin.
So my advice gives them time to solve your problem, and you should be patient for a while. Next time, you need to be careful before buying bitcoin in any places, make sure you already search the recommended seller, so you don't have the same experience.
I don't think the seller could have done anything to prevent this though, he probably isn't even aware of the doublespent made to him. (Maybe he is, i'm not sure, but it's likely if you do 50/100 paxful transactions a day, that a 100$ transaction more or less isn't immediately noticeable.)

Last thing they asked me was to put picture of my bank statement showing two $100 transaction.  how much longer is this going to take?? I send them message again and no response... I think this will be my last time using paxul... takes way to long to get in touch with them..
You expect them to help you without proof? Neither paxful nor the seller is really at fault here, as mentioned. You should take it up with Zelle, as they're the ones who wrongfully authorized a second payment?
892  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bestmixer or chipmixer? on: April 15, 2019, 05:46:15 PM
1. I will ask you again, why use a mixer?
2. I think talking with you is something useless, because you participate in the company signatures of chipmixer and you get paid for each message, which means you are not objective in your opinion.
3. If your statement that bestmixer buys coins on the stock exchange is true, then this is great news.
1. To break a link between funds/transfers.

2. I'm just correcting you on the lies you're spreading.

3. Is it though? That means that "the stockexchange" knows exactly/could know exactly which coins are from Bestmixer, and knows exactly where they are going.
Law enforcement could easily get that information, and voila, there goes everything you've been paying such premiums for. (And all the attempts at obfuscating the source (the user who initiated the transfer) of the funds, not to mention.)

That's another third-party you need to blindly trust. (While they (the exchange) doesn't/don't have any incentive NOT to cooperate, etc.)

That's just how i see it though. I'd love to know why and how you think this is "great".
893  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can we get adsene to our crypto blog website? on: April 15, 2019, 04:10:12 PM
Do you know any ad agencies for crypto ad publishing?
You can use cointraffic or coinzilla for this but if your site is only new I'm afraid if they will approve it, AFAIK these ad network requires more or less 10k visits per month or I guess below 1million alexa rank enable to get accepted.
Except those mentioned you can also try a-ads but I'm guessing it's not profitable using them especially if your website doesn't have enough traffics as they are only base on CPM but at least try for you to observe.

As for adsense, I have crypto blogs with adsense since 2017 and never get any issue from it. So try to establish your website first by publishing quality contents and then try to register once you think you have at least 3-5k monthly visits, not sure with the numbers though but more visits more chance you can be accepted with adsense.

Why some people say google will ban our adsense account when we have ads on crypto websites/blogs?

Because they used to ban all the websites involving cryptocurrency in the early days, mostly faucets, because the traffic coming from them was horrific, (but mostly real)

There's a couple of threads about this;

894  Other / Meta / Re: Forum is biased and a connection with Freebitcoin! Watch this be removed too! on: April 15, 2019, 02:35:52 PM
I couldn't be bothered to read the bold text. Could somebody post a brief comment with a reference if this is something we should know about.
I stopped here.
Quote
Hope this will be read and understood but I used Freebitco.in's betting console using a No-Lose strategy from youtube and used exact settings and had my their stop loss set to 1000 Satoshis which Freebitcoin says works with 100% accuracy well guess what? All in all, about 8 Million Satoshis were lost.

TLDR: Seems like OP, (a gambler) lost money and is now seeing crazy conspiracy theories?

@OP if there was a betting strategy with 100% accuracy, it wouldn't be called betting?

The Government from The BVI told us to demand refunds since all forms of gambling within The BVI are Illegal, and especially the operation of such a business and we were all called Blackmailers and alot worse.
FYI: i'm pretty sure you can still be incorporated in BVI running an online casino, as long as you get your license/conduct your business in another area.

https://lcb.org/jurisdictions/british-virgin-islands

Not sure if that's even the case here (as i have no clue how FreeBitcoin is set up legally speaking, or where it operates from), or even applicable, but you're not offering a lot of proof of your accusations here, (which are quite hefty!).

Quote
InterGlobal Ltd. deposit acknowledgement emails state they operate from The British Virgin Islands and give a fictitious address, yet all indicators from my investigation show they are really located in Belize.  Why the deception?  Is it for tax evasion?
Doesn't necessarily mean it's illegal.

If you want this to actually get solved, i recommend you restructure your entire post so it becomes readable, and add sufficient proof. All you have right now is just a sob story which no one here cares about.
895  Other / Meta / Re: Focus on solutions & avoid personal attacks. on: April 15, 2019, 02:22:50 PM
I doubt that the ones that are using multiple alt accounts to engage in personal attacks are looking for a real discussion, much less so for a solution.

For most of them which are doing this behavior (Mostly those that are tagged by DT for various reasons) there simply will not be any solution -- DT isn't going to be removed any time soon and neither are their trust scores.

I really doubt there's much room for sincere discussion for aforementioned, as there is not really much to discuss in most cases.
896  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bestmixer or chipmixer? on: April 15, 2019, 01:23:11 PM

I got the impression that you are intoxicated by the service in which you participate in a signature company.
I mean, everyone can find out that you received coins from a chipmixer and just hang a suspicion flag on your funds.
Imagine that you are an anonymous alcoholic)) And here you understand that anyone can easily find out this information))
Then from this equation you need to throw out the word "anonymous" is not it?
And so you're assuming that everyone who uses Chipmixer is an "alcoholic".  That's quite the assumption to make.
Quote
And here you understand that anyone can easily find out this information
Assuming something =/= correlate with reality.
The only way someone can "find anything out" is by assuming that everyone who uses Chipmixer is (in your case) an "alcoholic". logic and law simply don't work that way.

http://chipstatdethbuwk.onion/

What is the purpose of using a mixer?

You tell me. It's unclear to me what exactly you use a mixer for.

Quote
Naturally, I do not want anyone to know that I used a mixer.
Unfortunately, chipmixer does not give me such confidence.
No, You'd rather pay a 5% flat-fee, and trust that Bestmixer.io actually gives you coins out of their "Private-Investor" pool (which has got to run out sooner or later?), for what reason exactly? You're afraid of being labeled/assumed as an "Alcoholic" (?) I mean... Be my guest.

Again, you're trusting their word that these coins won't be able to be traced back to their mixer, or any of their operations, but that just seems very vague to me. Coins are always "Traceable" (up to a degree).
((I wouldn't be surprised of most of these "Investor" coins are bought on a KYC exchange..?))

Anyhow, if you place that much trust in Bestmixer.io to leave absolutely no trace on your coins, for whatever reason you might have, i'm not stopping you from using them.
Just don't spout unclear nonsense about your competitors for whatever reason you have, without any real evidence to back it up.

Quote
Then from this equation you need to throw out the word "anonymous" is not it?
Why? enlighten me on how exactly Chipmixer deanonymizes it's userbase?
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can you trace a person if he received coins on a Blockchain mobile wallet? on: April 15, 2019, 12:51:57 PM
Lets say the case scenario is that I did not provide any KYC. Any chance then?

I'm pretty sure blockchain.com also logs IP adresses, and there's a good chance they associate/save them with particular wallets as well.

So there's another vector someone can make use of, if he can get the powers to be to move in on it..

You say that it is more profitable to use chipmixer, while all his transactions are easy to track down!
I'd rather pay 50% commission to bestmixer, but no one would know that I got the money from the mixer!
There is no proof of either one of those statements that you're making.

Quote
You say that it is more profitable to use chipmixer, while all his transactions are easy to track down!
Please, show me proof that you can link a deposit adress of Chipmixer to an output accurately, otherwise, you're spouting nonsense.

Quote
I'd rather pay 50% commission to bestmixer, but no one would know that I got the money from the mixer!
There is no proof that Bestmixer actually hides/conceals *every* trace of it's internal mixing that's leading to the output you're receiving. of course it would be impossible to prove a negative, but i don't think anyone has extensively looked into this, or researched it.
(And we all know what happend to dozens of mixers in the past who said similar things.. (Not only were transactions able to be traced back to the mixer, they could accurately be traced back to the user who initiated the transfer.))

Also, what exactly would be the added benefit of someone not knowing your money came from a/"the" mixer? You're afraid of being labeled as what exactly?
899  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bestmixer or chipmixer? on: April 14, 2019, 10:40:02 AM
People compare fees but, lol seriously? Is it that need to be compared? Are people looking to save a buck with the risk to give up their privacy?
Privacy, Hello! Isn't it what is most important? Yes right? Now I would suggest making some searches because if you think all mixers work "great" I can assure that it's not the case.

I think it's a fair thing to do when Bestmixer's fees range from 1% (but usually start at 2.5% by default) and go up to 5% for their Gamma pool, with no proof that it actually improves privacy.
Meanwhile Chipmixer offers 0% fees, and the same level of privacy for all of their clients..?

Almost forgot about their fees per adress and tx fees;
Quote
Code:
+ 0.00029430 BTC for each receiving address
Recommended transaction fee: 0.00133347 BTC per kilobyte

Which means that if i were to mix 0.001, i'd pay a whopping 32% in fees. (v ≈≈≈0% w/ chipmixer, if i were to accelerate a low byte tx that is obviously..)

900  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is currently the best exchange to buy BTC with fiat with small fee? on: April 13, 2019, 02:58:57 PM
I've heard good things about CryptoVoucher, afaik they don't require KYC (although, if you use SEPA, they're bound to know most of your info anyways), and the fees are decent.

Haven't tried them out myself though, but it might be worth a shot. (You can buy a voucher for as low as 25$)
