921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 19, 2023, 11:15:11 AM
Yes, but it's not enough to help the Clippers with the game even if Westbrook did do a good job tonight. And that curse has been broken too, so it could be a good sign that the Suns might win this series? Lol.
They played good defense in the second half and not allow the Clippers to made a comeback. It was Booker and Durant, probably becoming the most dangerous 1-2 team mates in this playoff.

This is how the playoff games should be when both teams are good they will exchange win all over again up to game 7. If the Clippers will win the next game, there will be a high chance that we will see a game 7 in this playoff series. So far they are the teams that will gonna be tense and will not easily get to round two of the NBA playoffs. the other bouts that already won 2 straight games are already found their rhythms and might gonna easily sweep their opponent quickly and head to round two waiting for their next opponents.

I guess it's Game 6 now, hehe. I just love the Clippers at the moment. Leonard has been unstoppable, and I like that he is the main anchor of the offense because he is more effective that way. Westbrook is a good complement for Leonard, as he also plays good defense. Even without PG, this team will give a headache to the Phoenix Suns.

Remember that Booker is inconsistent in the playoffs, so let's see if he can still play like he did in Game 2.

They are good at making the script work, so what's it going to be - Gin Kings in Game 5 or TNT?

Ginebra needs to win game 5, as they'll be in danger if they lose again.

Did you see the 3-point shooting of TNT in the last game? They were so efficient. If Ginebra allows that to happen again, they will certainly lose.

However, if they work on their defense, I'm pretty sure they can get the win. Overall, it comes down to the team's defense, and Ginebra is known for having a good defense. That's why it's very unacceptable to see TNT having a shooting spree.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 18, 2023, 02:33:49 AM
I hope Jordan Poole will play, but regardless, I think the Warriors' roster is still capable of winning, so I like the Warriors to win.

He did play, and what's good now is that the Kings' 3-point shooting is not going in. The Warriors are leading early, but we cannot tell until the game is over. So far, it's a very entertaining game, and the defense was really evident. The crowd is loving it since the Kings haven't been in the playoffs for a while.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: April 17, 2023, 10:16:34 PM
majority of them are done for, there's certainly reason why many always advice, if you are investing in meme coin at least invest in coin that have good trading volume so at least you can easily liquidate your assets if you truly need it, now so many of meme coins out there dying, because while they have no utility at all, they are also need to maintain their trading volume so they're not getting delisted, but right now the flow of investments going towards these meme coin in general has been significantly reduced, that I think it'd hard for them to ever regain their former glory at all.
I'd say, it's always better watch out if you have any investment in these meme coin for any potential delisting which could turn your meme coin value into nothing, basically you can lose all your money, or maybe you should just move over your meme coins investment to the other more famous meme coin like shib and doge, at least they're guaranteed not getting listed, since their trading volume are still quite high enough, even though there are some other meme coin that might make some comeback in the future.
On the other hand, investing in meme coins is too risky especially if we aim for the long term.
I know that many people are still buying some of these meme coins like Doge and Shiba, and many people are riding the hyped. And the reason why they are doing this is that they also know that these coins could give them profit when selling them in timing. These coins are good for the short term but if we think about the future of these projects, doubted see them still alive. Maybe Dogecoin and Shiba Inu still exist but I don't think the others.
925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market is seasonal on: April 17, 2023, 09:42:33 PM
...
I see that there is no complete expert trader, at a point everyone experience loss both robots. That's means the market is kind of seasonal, it can favor you today and hit you tomorrow.
And base on my experience, I would say yes, it was seasonal to the point that we usually make a good profit when the price goes up. However, I don't think we incur losses if we are just about to hold them and then wait for the recovery. Unfortunately, because most of us traders are impatient and would like to put everything on our hands, we become desperate and then make a wrong decision.
Yes, there is no perfect trader and we all experience losses, that is the truth. But apart from that, we learn somehow that trading is not all about profit as we surely lose sometimes because of our decisions.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto banks replace traditional banks soon on: April 16, 2023, 10:17:01 PM
Crypto banking is supposed to make things easy for community but banks make it complicated so average users hesitate to join new ecosystem. Solution is to merge both systems together on the traditional online banking so everyone can take advantage of the cheaper, faster transactions, IMHO. As explained on the thread, if banks can't beat the crypto banking they will surely join and adapt new ecosystem.
And it remains an option for us to choose the system/banks that really give us the easiest way to approach and can't deny that crypto banks is somewhat more technical than traditional banks. That is why those who have no knowledge about it will surely be choosing traditional banks as they seem comfortable being there. So I guess it was not necessary to fully adopt crypto banks while there are a lot of individuals that are incapable of using them. May soon crypto banks user will increase but this is not enough to stop traditional banks from their operation.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 14, 2023, 09:28:26 AM
Many people are making huge profits by investing in Dogecoin and many people are falling into huge losses. Since you bought dogecoin at a very high price, hold now without selling and you have no other option. Keep waiting for Elon Musk to change the logo of Twitter and use the logo of Doge coin again or until the next bullrun.
If I am in that situation, I'd rather decide to sell them and look for other altcoins or Bitcoin instead. Because it was too hard to believe in something, we can't please Elon Musk to hype Dogecoin for the sake of your profit, I expect not. So, instead of wasting our time waiting for miracles, we have to do something, and the best option is to sacrifice losses for better rewards.
After all, OP already knows the risk when investing in a meme coin as the only way it grows through market manipulation.
928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't encourage multiple trading! on: April 14, 2023, 06:06:12 AM
My friend loves opening different trades at a time, most at times is difficult for him to control what's should be. Trading on free chart with multiple opening can be very dangerous. Yesterday he experience unusual hit when bitcoin price drops again, four trades loss at once when the market go against him. Personally I don't advise multiple trade especially when you're not familiar with trade
I don't have any idea what he thinks of having that strategy. With his losing experience, I think it was enough for your friend to realize that it was a wrong strategy and stop it otherwise, he will lose more if he continues doing that until such time he got empty. Well, it usually happens that our thinking went wrong, and we can never find it early. Your friend has to open his eyes and look at what happened to his trade as it is no longer profitable anymore.
In fact, even pro-traders never use this way as it was not easy to manage.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 14, 2023, 04:11:46 AM

I'll put my bet on TNT on this one just because of how they played. I believe that the locals of the TNT are better than that of Ginebra (for me). TNT as the winner, and TNT +4.5 on Handicap are my bets. Cheesy

I definitely like the TNT as well, but I'm willing to take a riskier bet to get the moneyline odds. It's a seven-game series, so winning this game isn't critical as there's still Game 4 to even out the series. Hopefully, the officials won't be biased and allow the better team to win.

The reason I like the TNT is because of their attractive odds, which is the only reason.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: April 13, 2023, 12:49:20 PM
snipped..

You can sell your altcoins now before it gets even worse, alt coins aren't going to pump soon and even when they do, only the big projects with high market cap will pump because they have the most trust at the moment from investors.

The altcoins season is coming after Bitcoin cross its previous all time high because that's when people will start believing we are in a bull market and for that to happen, Bitcoin halving has to have been done which is happening next year.

Sometimes it's better to take some loss and move on than to lose it all because we were waiting for a recover but the market or that particular project didn't recover. If you want to buy Bitcoin, don't hesitate, buy it immediately.

I agree Bitcoin is safest long term hold but don't want to sell my altcoins now.

I have some altcoins that are up , some even and some as much as 25% down but feel they will recover.

Some may go to zero but as long as a couple do well next bull run I will be up.
As long as you are choosing altcoins that have a working product, it will certainly be pumping once the market is bullish. We can really say that altcoins are more profitable than Bitcoin for short-term plans and so people are buying them. Besides, it was a good choice either especially for hyped riders, they'll make money too easy. Because what I see is that investing Bitcoin is only good for long-term, we can take them during the bear season and then take altcoins when the bull season is coming near.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 13, 2023, 12:00:00 PM
Only a few people had owned 1 BTC (or more) and perhaps, they are rich already. But if you are just an average investor and are owning now 1BTC due to continuous buying of it, you really make yourself rich, especially if you still hold them until the next bull run which is probably 2 years from now. But if you just buy 1 Bitcoin at $28,000 and then sell it at $29,000 - you're not making a huge profit from it, it was just like getting your money back into your pocket.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 13, 2023, 10:54:51 AM
The Raptors took the lead in the first half, and it was the Raptors that dominated the game until the final quarter. But as we entered the final period, the Chiacago Bulls started to play unbelievably. Thanks to Zach Lavine and Demar Derozan, the Bulls managed to beat their opponent Smiley
They managed to come back in the game where they fell 19 points. The season is over for the Raptors, the Chicago Bulls still have a chance

It was definitely the last quarter when the Raptors lost the game. Even in the third quarter, it did not feel like the Bulls were going to win the game. Great performance by LaVine. DeRozan also helped him a lot. The Raptors certainly had a good performance but in vain. This was certainly a very good comeback by the Bulls. I believe if the Bulls can perform confidently, which they should after this game, they certainly have a chance this season.

But in the closing of the 3rd quarter, you can sense that Bulls is not going away easy and Lavine is hitting those crazy shots and same with DeRozan.

They had a good lead, but was not able to sustain it, they try to, but the Bulls can't be denied this huge win in the road. Again, it was because of their two superstars in DeRozan and Lavine who keep the team composed even if they are in deficit rest of the game. Just too bad that the Raptors fans come to see only their team losing in that kind of fashion.

It was disappointing because they were in control of the game in the beginning and had a good lead, but they allowed the Bulls to come back.

I can say that it was the defense. The Bulls have a great defense, especially in the 2nd half, and slowly the Raptors lost confidence.

If only everyone got involved, their shooting would be better. However, they chose to rely on VanVleet, who relies more on outside shooting, while the Bulls were always looking for a high percentage shot, which is why they love to drive the ball inside.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 13, 2023, 10:22:24 AM
But I think in this fight it will be different Loma, an upgraded version of him because he simply wants to become a champion and whoever is in front of us, he has to do his best and win even if it is against a young and undefeated boxer in Haney.

A boxer can be different against different opponents, as they create a strategy and adjust based on their opponent's style. Lomachenko is a great boxer and was very popular, but unfortunately he lost to Lopez due to an injury. This time there should be no excuses as he is 100% healthy and will be facing a 100% fighter.

He didn't say that it was his excuse though against Lopez, he just admitted that he had that injury prior to the fight and didn't tell the public about it. Maybe he doesn't want the fight to be cancelled and the blame on him or he thinks that he can beat Lopez that time.

Regardless, he has move on and recovered already and make a huge comeback and now fighting for the belt.

For sure he will have his strategy and have game plan against Haney. But I do think that he will adjust on the fly and see what Devin can offer him, in short it might be a chess match in the beginning as both of this fighters have high level IQ.

That's a possibility, but we shouldn't hope it stays that way until the end of the fight. A chess match fight could result in a boring performance from both fighters. If one doesn't take the risk of attacking, then it won't be entertaining to watch. The only way boxing is entertaining is when both fighters are aggressive, or the aggressor is winning the fight.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 13, 2023, 08:21:21 AM
I have some doubts about Game 3. Of course, people will expect Ginebra to bounce back and take the lead, but what if that's not the script? I guess I have to be more careful here. Instead, I will focus on the total score since this game is very physical. Under seems to be the best play for me.

First game total 192
2nd game total 177

The average is only 184.5 points.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 12, 2023, 09:52:06 PM
But not everyone wants to know bitcoin because they don't want to accept new things that can change their life. And that's why, even if they get the right information about bitcoin, they may not want to own bitcoin, even in small amounts. When we already know bitcoin and are involved in it, we can try to own it and teach it to the people around us. Of course, bitcoin is only for people who want to accept it, while for others, we don't force them to use bitcoin. And let them get their information from somewhere else they might prefer.
Perhaps, Bitcoin can easily be understood how it works if we wanted to spend time learning about it. Because so many resources that we can find online and the only thing we do is allocate time for this but what people do is keep ignoring and making their life busy into useless stuff. That is why I could say that it was hard to educate someone if he/she has no interest as well. And even if it was been taught in school, I still don't think if it works for them as they will just listen but not learning.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: April 12, 2023, 09:33:27 PM
Money is something that comes slowly but very fast when spending it so I suggest we think while making expenses in our society today were there is a cashless policy supposing you earn 100% in month and 75% goes to clubbing 25% is left which might not be enough for the household you being a family man is left with nothing but collecting salary every month it's a great to you because if you insist on living such life for a while it will take you a lot of time to do what others of your colleagues are doing this has been a major problem to our youth today they choice exercise fun more than engaging in investment
As long as people don't see the real value of money, no, they will spend it without thinking about how hard it gets. This really happens in real life and people changed their lifestyle gradually when they have money and a high salary, and most of us never think about the future but just today. And there is one reason I've found out that why people spend their money not in a smart way and it is because of so many ads and promotions that could really tempt people, especially when there is a SALE.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 12, 2023, 01:21:36 PM
Will the Bulls win tomorrow? They have reached this far despite their struggles, so I don't think they are going to waste this opportunity. In terms of player comparison, I think the Bulls have more star players, but in terms of system, the Raptors have a good basketball system. However, since this is just one game, which factor should we consider when choosing a team to bet on?
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 12, 2023, 12:25:19 PM

Getting the pace and trying out to observe on 1st round is something a very common or normal for a boxer to do on which trying out to observe on what his stance and trying out to cope up if ever they would
be dominated on a certain key area. Its been mentioned that Nghitumbwa is a knock out artist? For sure Casimero's camp is fully aware to that and might really already
preparing for some nasty counter if ever there would be a chance on having those crossing punches but of course we cant really be able to
conclude out but its true that if Casimero would lost into this one then it would be more hard for him to reach up and take some fight against Inoue.

The essence of preparing for the fight is what both camps are dealing with right now. They both try to analyze and assess
if what kind of counter and attack that they need to apply during the fight.

I see your point where Casimero and his camp deal with how they can beat their opponents. They need not to careless here.

The actual executions of any preparation will be showcase on the fight sate, let see how good both fighters will going to be in trying
to win the fight.

I have no expectations from Casimero's opponent because he is an unknown fighter, but I am more interested in how Casimero will deliver an impressive win. However, as you said, Casimero should not be careless and underestimate his opponent. If the result is not in his favor, it could potentially affect his future journey. Remember that he wants to be a champion again, and the only way for that to happen is if he keeps winning fights.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 11, 2023, 01:25:36 PM

Takuma Inoue, the brother of Naoya Inoue, is now a world champion after acquiring the WBA belt left by his brother.

We might see a fight between Inoue and Donaire in the future, but this time it won't be Naoya. Donaire needs to win his championship fight to become a champion again, and if he does, there's a chance for a unification fight. I'm confident that Donaire will not go down against Takuma Inoue since he doesn't have the same level of skills and power as his brother.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 11, 2023, 01:03:26 PM

Casimero's camp needs to plan this fight, with his usual strategy to observe his opponent first before deciding to go all in,
something that may surprise Nghitumbwa.
It would not surprise me if Inoue studies how Casimero fights. I would only be surprised if he does not follow the game plan, as Casimero is good at sticking to his game plan and making sure he comes out as the winner in the end.

But like what you have said, it's also dangerous if he will go toe-to-toe against a known solid puncher. One mistake and a solid combination hit
him chance that he may lose his balance or chance that he may suffer a KO.

It will test his maturity and how well he will analyze and take his opponent. He needs to win with a convincing and entertaining
way to impress the fans and the whole boxing community to earn a ticket for a much bigger fight.

As a professional boxer and a champion, Casimero already knows the risks involved in a fight, and he will not engage in a toe-to-toe battle if he feels the power of his opponent and thinks that he needs to respect it. In that case, he will make adjustments and use his quickness to gain the advantage.
