961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the current Game tokens to watch out for in 2024? on: January 05, 2024, 08:08:43 PM

Sleepless AI doesn't look like it's a game token. it's very new and it says it's for the creativity of designers, animators, and video editors.

what may come up in the last bull run might also be the same game tokens that will stand out in the next like the ones you mentioned such as SAND, Decentraland, Gala, and Axie. the issue with these ERC20 tokens is the gas fee again which the gamers with fewer funds aren't able to take advantage of.  if there are just popular and enjoyable games created on TRX, i would probably prefer to play them.
962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You should probably stay away from polymarket.com, UMA on: January 05, 2024, 06:17:52 PM
i wouldn't say Polymarket is the fault, its the resolver.

how should a regular person know the truth about this bet about the Israeli Intelligence advance knowledge?  whether it's true or not, who would decide on this, Mossad?  even if they have documents proving such things, there is a chance that it would be debunked later. this is not a good bet even if they have this market's resolution source with a consensus of credible reporting.

963  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption in Nigeria as a Problem of Economic Growth and Development on: January 05, 2024, 05:45:56 PM
I must say, I like the fact that you can write and took quite some time to get this piece to a level that gives you great satisfaction but, would you mind fact chickening lost of this and drop the reference to the claims? I’m particularly interested in how my country is presented because, though I accept that there exists corrupt practices in various systems to our administration and lifestyle, I don’t feel we are worst or even way worst when compared to other parts of the would so, you might want to clear things up by fact checking and giving references.

Corruption in countries are in different forms.

1. Sex for job
2. Buying of job opportunities
3. Nepotism
4. Favouritism
5. Money Laundering or siphoning
6. Bribery.
These are norms in a society, it doesn’t make it any better but, it happens in our world everyday. Show me a nation that this is non existent and you’ll more than prove a point.

Quote
Among all the fifth item is the major cause of under elopement in Nigeria and other countries. Culture and tradition places a minor role to development in only rural communities where they resist certain development to preserve lands and other historical properties.

In the time past , several ideas have suggested solutions to the problem of underdevelopment in Nigeria. In 2014, the Nigerian Government suggested Restructuring political powers and administration.

So far all the suggestions have failed and obviously, there will not be changes until, the Chinese communist system of administration is adopted.

A public or political leader must not acquire certain properties and nut not be richer than a certain net worth, with a stipulation of death penalty ( death by hanging). This will certainly stop the excessive looting and siphoning of public funds.

What do you think?
There are obviously means to solving several issues and I can tell you, Africa could be more than willing to adopt but, are you familiar with the term “THE WEST”.
Perhaps you need to go over what these could do to the forward of the least African country. You seem like one that would be open to researches so, I’ll leave you to go see how that term has influenced most nations in a way to hamper growth.

every country has all these problems of corruption. Nigeria and all other parts of Africa's growth had been suppressed in many ways. Africa is a very rich country with huge deposits of resources but because it has been suppressed the corruption of leaders will also arise.

every organization we know is trying to help improve hunger but raw materials including food don't even reach these countries. it's like the supply chain stops sending in these countries which means there is certain corruption from the top that doesn't want African countries to develop.

964  Economy / Gambling / Re: UNREAL!! Sportsbet.io pays out a $42,000,000 USDT Casino WIN!! on: January 05, 2024, 05:30:09 PM
so unreal one wouldn't believe it's being recorded.  with $42M i would retire with such wealth already.
for someone who kept spinning a slot game for $50, he does have a lot of money to waste. i can imagine what he would be like if he hadn't won this huge amount. i'm curious how much he spent before he won this much.

any congrats to him. wouldn't this be a huge loss for sportsbet?
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble on Bitcoin ETF approval results? on: January 05, 2024, 04:28:41 PM
Here is the latest if others wanted to see it without clicking,

https://polymarket.com/event/bitcoin-etf-approved-by-jan-15?tid=1704464379974

But if there is a crypto based casino that will list this option, for sure there will be gamblers that's going to bet on it. But odds for the "Yes", is going to be not that attractive as maybe majority thinks that there will be approval.

for $0.19 to bet on NO you get $2.28. Yes for $0.79 win $9.48 they are all very alluring.
this kind of game is where SEC will win. if the platforms enjoy this so much, they will just keep this ETF approval game running until SEC insider earns enough.

this seems like a game for the SEC insider.  probably not best to engage until there is one ETF that is approved already which the bets will be more exciting.
966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is GRIN still a thing? on: January 05, 2024, 03:53:58 PM

not sure if this is still a thing now. BEAM i guess rocketed lately which is quite a good indication, these two were always been compared.

if i remember correctly Theymos supports this coin and the forum accepts GRIN for membership. i bought some of this coin and stored it on Ironbelly, completely forgotten it for years. i have to dig some files to recover the keys.

967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on favorites early in the week & underdogs late in the week strategy... on: January 05, 2024, 03:36:23 PM
I am by no means a professional gambler, and therefore I've certainly got plenty to learn (one of the reasons I like being active in this part of the forum).  I was recently listening to a gambling talk radio podcast and they were saying one basic thumb to live by when sports betting is to bet favorites in the early part of the week and under-dogs in the later part of the week as the spread tends to favor this strategy.

So I'm just curious if the sports betters in here take this "rule of thumb" strategy seriously and tend to follow it.  Or if there's any experience that says this may not be all that great of a strategy.  Thoughts?

I think it depends on specific sports and leagues.

I don't know how teams in those professional leagues in Football behave within a week, but if I take that idea of placing bets on Favorites early in the week and then Underdogs a week later, it might not work and be effective in basketball leagues, especially NBA and to our local basketball league where the ball is always round. I mean, Favorites are always being upset by Underdogs that's why it's even harder to make a parlay betting with only Favorites here in basketball leagues specifically on the NBA. Smiley

football is hard to predict although bookmakers show who are their favorite, the underdog they think will lose oftentimes win. this is why it's best to just bet when the football match is live. but we all have a different take on this. every time i do this, 1 or 2 out of 5 bets in favor of the favorites lose. sometimes i think i would just bet for the underdog instead for higher returns.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: January 04, 2024, 06:26:00 PM
Why think about what people say about us, is it somehow capable of influencing our well-being, or any other aspects of our lives?
There are things that will never change, people will always talk about other people, but they forget about it as soon as they stop talking about it. People have a lot of daily worries and generally people worry more about what other people think about them. And if you are worried about what people will say about you gambling, then try not to let those who don’t need to know about it find out.

The most of the advice to the gamblers was for the benefit of the life, the people spending their time to make us live the peaceful life.Because sometimes gambler use their own real money to the gambling site, using the free money alone make the gamblers to feel comfortable. But due to the greedy the gamblers will do the betting using the important money of the essential purpose like fees of their children or the month rent for their house. If they made the win,it will managed and the additional money he get for the other purpose expenses. But if he loss the funds,he need to get more loan for the compensation for the loss money and to handle the loss.

and if a gambler loses and people who just peep at your phone might just tell colleagues you lost your month's rent money because you gambled it or so. not that i care but because people judge you because of your failures, this could cause anxiety.

if you live in a close-knit family your elder might just pay a visit and advise you to stop gambling. you wouldn;t wonder then where the elders haave heard of it. the nosey little fella who just peep at your phone now is telling everyone about it.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if DEXs are banned in the future? on: January 04, 2024, 05:13:47 PM
I hate to admit it but that's it. A country that has no benefit over a service that runs on their jurisdiction will have no doubt will ban a service like a dex.

They can ban it so that their citizens won't use it but they can't close or stop its operation. They just can simply ban the website from the IP of theirs.

It is also happening in centralized exchanges where countries are banning the likes of Binance because they are unregistered.

Only if the domain is hosted on a centralized service. After all, ICANN controls all common TLDs (.com, .net, .org, etc). What the government can't censor are decentralized domains. I'm talking about those running on blockchain networks such as Namecoin and Ethereum. A frontend interface for Uniswap hosted on a decentralized CDN or P2P network with a decentralized domain name would surely do the trick. I've seen Uniswap's code hosted on IPFS, so anything's possible.

Most developers are afraid of the government, so they will try to avoid getting involved in the development of a truly-decentralized and censorship-resistant crypto exchange. Those that do will have their identity hidden from the general public (anonymous). It's hard to find someone who cares about anonymity/privacy these days. We should expect centralized exchanges to continue dominating the industry for long. The future can't be predicted, so lets hope for the best. Wink

something like the IPFS for the server of the dex website may be the most decentralized but seems not possible yet. the project Filecoin was supposed to function this way afaik, its development however is just too slow. if there is something like decentralized storage, it will mean the government will not be able to shut down a website.

but there are wallet apps today with built-in exchanges, i think this is working as decentralized.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China ban people from using usdt on: January 04, 2024, 04:32:35 PM
China warns that using tether (usdt) as an intermediary in foreign exchange transaction is a violation of the law.
The supreme people's procuracy(spp) and state administration issued a public warning, emphasizing that the use of tether(usdt) as an intermediary tool in transaction between Renminbi and other foreign currencies are not suitable.
This includes indirect participation, such as technical support or provisions of exchange services.
https://www.binance.com/en/feed/post/2207492174690?ref=102894024&utm_campaign=app_share_link

We can't do anything about that; it's in the rights of the Chinese government and their authority. Are all cryptocurrencies banned by China in the matter we are talking about? Or only the stablecoins are banned?

But does China also have other mining farms, like Bitcoin? And I don't believe that China doesn't have cryptocurrency or bitcoin; maybe it's just being reported that they hate Bitcoin or crypto, but when they dump, they pay a huge amount and then hold. You know that the government of every country has the power to do things.

they probably have mining farms backed by the government. there were reports there is still hash coming from China despite them widely banning BTC. and there could be remote mining companies from China still mining in the Sichuan mountains.

but this hunt down of usdt users in their country will force its citizens to use the digital yuan they have. but i think it may also affect the USDT volume.

971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see a gambling review website that has its own gambling website? on: January 04, 2024, 03:52:01 PM
I am asking this question because, for me, there could be a possible conflict of interest here.

The only time it will be a conflict of interest is when they started publishing negative review against competitor casino while giving themselves the only positive feedback.

But I really doubt a gambling review site will ruined their reputation just because they launch their own casino. I think they will just put their casino on the review site in a form of ads instead of having a review by themselves because their follower will surely use their website without any bullshit fake review for their casino.

IIRC Gosu is the perfect example of this topic but I highly doubt they will put something that will be conflict of interest because efi is professional in his business.

allowing negative comments from users would negate their involvement in the biases which they could say its comes from the users especially if the ratings come from the votes of the users.

internet users work mysteriously and those reviewed casinos will think they are in harsh competition with this review site with a casino. they will be accusing each other in silent using anonymous users.
972  Local / India / Re: How does Indian crypto exchange survive? on: January 04, 2024, 03:35:54 PM
the 10% i guess is still enough for them to make it.

india is the country in which crypto is being used all the time. the country has the largest crypto holders amounting to 157M people. they must be profiting still despite the drop in volume.

ccto

i got the image from a thread in the local forum. didn't know where they got it. but here is another https://www.binance.com/en/feed/post/1441692
973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China ban people from using usdt on: January 03, 2024, 07:16:12 PM
it looks like the war starts in finance. didn't the regulators try stopping BUSD?  this China's Supreme People's Procuracy (SPP) is now also trying to stop its citizens from using USDT. but at least it's their citizens that they are regulating. not everyone around the world. so anyone outside China can still be using USDT.

i'm guessing they are also about to release Yuan stablecoin for their Hongkong traders.
974  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BETCOIN.AG are absolute scammers! on: January 03, 2024, 06:47:23 PM
you will need proof of your accusation. screenshots, its sort of an unwritten law for accusing someone or a casino.
you can't just say this and that but then by what you said you already admitted the mistake. so that is a kind of violation. betcoin.ag would suspect how long you have been doing this?

but keep talking to them, maybe they will consider making you withdraw the deposited coins you made.  there is always that possibility.
975  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on? on: January 03, 2024, 06:40:49 PM

Jim Cramer they say has the information since he is close to someone from the SEC. i don't know how true this is but maybe he just wants to buy more before the approval so it must be worth it despite being hated by many.

couldn't believe it dived down to $40,800. that's steep. i you have set a buy order at such price i guess you already have profited after the bounce. this is unexpected and only those rich guys did have the opportunity.
976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS BLOCKCHAIN on: January 03, 2024, 06:06:31 PM
EOS was hyped to be the Ethereum killer, but now it's difficult to find any mention of EOS anywhere. Once a top 20 coin by marketcap, they are now lost in the crowd of ever increasing utility tokens. Though being one of the most active community, there were news of internal conflict among the community which could be the reason for them lagging behind.
They could still be a pump and dump tool but it's  risky to bet on its future. There are many newer coins that have much more promising prospects than EOS.

since larimer resigned from the EOS, the conflict between devs has gotten worse i think, they were even considering EOS to be renamed Antelope i'm not sure how it goes after that but many of its investors lost interest. the last cryptodunker youtuber who kept shilling this token even quit.

larimer always takes himself out of the projects he started, leaving it to the community doesn't look like its going to make the project successful.
977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange Token Discussion; Open Exchange Token(OX) Listing on: January 03, 2024, 03:40:40 PM

I believe native tokens are not different from other altcoins, which means for every usecase provided for exchange tokens, there's an increase in value for it. Now which native token is your favourite and why have you chosen it?

the newer exchanges from 2018 to the very recent, most of the exchanges are launching native tokens. it makes it easy to acquire loyal users when there are native tokens because they are sharing revenue with holders of their tokens. i think it was the DEX that first had this concept and then the rest followed even BNB was late to release.

which of them are you currently holding?

I have some UNI, it was airdropped though means many of the users here once held this token.

That's true there mate, I saw the buzz back then but couldn't get some early and DEX gas fee made me kept coming to CEX because of frequent trades.

For exchange tokens, I'd rather go for tokens frequently used by traders such as BNB and BGG tokens. I observed BGB do well a lot at Launchpads, especially because a lot of people commit it to earn aidrops.

i look at Bitget (BGB), it sure did a good rise even in the bear market. it started in 2021 i guess as i see in the chart and it's already going up without stopping that its now at the top 77 of CMC. this is a good exchange. i recently learned about it because there was a new token just being launched that was only listed in Bitget such as the TonUp token.  it wouldn't be surprising to see it more than $3 in the 2024 bull run.

978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the tension make you take risk that are sometimes worth it? on: January 03, 2024, 03:22:42 PM
when you have nothing in your pocket, everything you do is under pressure. you live with your family without something to contribute, you gonna have some issues to solve. you gotta have something to contribute like paying a water bill or the internet connection bill at least.

losing in the casino will bring more pressure hanging on your shoulder. i think i would rather not bet when i'm not sure to win. but i did gamble at a billard table with just a promise to pay. if i lost the game and they found out i had no money, i might just be in a big trouble. luckily i won.
979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: January 02, 2024, 07:20:03 PM
but if you enjoy the games you play at gambling, it will only make you bored. winnings are a bonus and the casino's attempt to keep its gamblers coming back.
the hope of winning, of course, there is. But don't make it an ambition to win. it will only make you regret if you experience a losing streak. do it wisely. Gambling is a game with capital. you pay for the game, not for the wins.
The gambler who had the capacity for the rotation of the money from the business to the gambling site had the capacity to get entertainment from the same. The gamblers who play the gambling games without any expectation will give huge profit in the gambling site. But the gamblers who had come to the gambling by the influence of the gambler who get the huge win from the gambling site.Actually many of the new gamblers story was start with the another gambler winning in the gambling site.
It depends on our initial goal of gambling, and we try not to think about winning from gambling because it won't be easy to get. Gamblers who come to gambling places, because they want to win, should be able to think long and hard. Many gamblers have tried, but most of them have not been able to win. We don't need to lie to ourselves if we are no longer comfortable playing gambling, so we have to end the gambling game or leave gambling forever if we think that gambling only results in more losses. We also cannot have the ambition to win gambling games and only try to enjoy every gambling game we play.
Most gamblers lose. Statistical reality, not pessimism. Hope usually leads to despair, as I've witnessed. Gambling requires a clear head and the realization that the odds are against you. Responsible gambling requires knowing when to quit.

Gambling thrills can be addicting. Casual betting can lead to addiction. I promote self-awareness and control. Gambling should be fun, not a desperate attempt to make money. Pursuing losses is a red indicator.

Personal control and industry responsibility are involved. Gambling platforms must promote safety, support problem gamblers, and assure fair play. We must demand accountability as a community. Gambling is not a cure-all.
On the time that you do make out a deposit on a gambling site, then you should really be treating out into those amounts to be completely gone or simply vanish. Why? we do know on how risky gambling is and it is really just that right that you should be assuming that those amounts is already gone on the time that you would really be making out such deposit. It would be always better that you shouldnt really be anticipating on something on which it would really be just that right that you should be sensible and be realistic on the things that you are dealing with and not really just that making yourself that delusional. You cant really just that make yourself that too hopeful on becoming that profitable with gambling in the first place because gambling is really just that for fun but it turns out that people do goes into the opposite way on which this do leads out into disaster.

People would really be just making out realizations on the time that they had wrecked out themselves.Well, this had been always the common thing on where people would really be just
tending to look at on positive side of things without even trying to look or see into those cons too.

people become delusional because they want to win. it's normal to want to win. what is not normal is for a person to hope to lose.

before a person gambles, he normally would hope to win. and that's exactly the goal why he deposits in the first place. we even try to look for a strategy to win because the only way to enjoy gambling is when we are winning. if you already know you are going to lose from the very start, it's best to not go on anymore and stop playing.

tokens are so new. i hardly knew them.

but haven't heard of that Lisk since forever. this project is totally forgotten already and then suddenly surfaces among the top gainers, i wonder if there was a development news of this project that triggered this gain. i remember the project was about SDK and it is one of the oldest projects that did an ICO. and also the Graph i remember was one of the most funded ICO but after years its price is still $0.21.

where is the website of that blackreport?
