961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies & tips from professional players on: February 05, 2021, 09:15:26 PM
For me, it doesn't really matter whether you win big or if the game you're in is purely based on luck or not. What matters the most if you want to minimize your losses is knowing when to carry on and knowing when to stop. People tend to overestimate their luck when they are winning, so they end up losing their money in the process, if everyone is fond of the concept of quitting while one's ahead, we will be minimizing our losses which is equal to winning too.
962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is how mass adoption looks like. on: February 04, 2021, 10:58:00 PM
Indeed, this but on a global or at least a larger scale, where we could see this in malls, hospitals, even schools and all. Plus there should be a place for bitcoin or cryptocurrency in the curriculum so students get to be acquainted with bitcoin as early as highschool, in that way they can partake in bitcoin investmetn as early as possible.
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Employees can get salary in Bitcoin in Miami on: February 04, 2021, 10:49:36 PM
The topic is misleading. They are considering it which doesn't mean you can get a salary in bitcoin.
Don't get too excited people!

It's a great idea.
There will be an opposition from people who think investing is gambling and they will surely treat this like these people are betting if their salary will be higher or lower next month. I hope the government is smart enough to ignore this and proceed with the plan.

You said it yourself, the thought alone that one can get salaries in BTC can simply excite a common supporter of bitcoin like us, and since this should get positive feedback, the passing of this ordinance should be a quick and painless process. Plus if the mayor made sure thst this is only for those who are willing, this will boost up people's opinion on bitcoin and would accept it as time goes by.
964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: February 04, 2021, 10:44:53 PM
This is already a lost cause for Ben Askren, he may win the match but at the end of the day, he won against a Youtuber, whereas Jake can just simply say he was bodied by a professional fighter in case he loses. A much more humiliating defeat will ensue if Askren loses to Jake which I hope don't happen for MMA's sake. Only thing Askren is going to get back from this would be the money, other than that Jake will be getting the fame.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather vs Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) on: February 04, 2021, 10:39:13 PM
What the hell is this? Def Jam for the PlayStation 2? I mean 50 is indeed a very talented person but I'm not sure he's accepting this offer since the guy had high regards of himself and his status as one of the most prominent rappers of his time. Although I guess everything holds a price so if Pretty Boy dumped a huge rack on 50's lap he may persuade him into fighting him in an exhibition match.
This fight would be much more interesting than fighting Logan Paul. There was a point in which they were running a boxing promotion together but things did not go well and they started a feud which has lasted many years.

50 Cent is known for his muscular physique but he is not a real athlete and would lose badly to Mayweather. He is probably afraid to lose and that is why he keeps making excuses for why he won't fight Floyd.
Also because he knew that fighting a lion in its den is a death wish. Pretty Boy has been living with boxing, 50 cent is a mere rapper with good body physique, he knew he's not gonna win.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why would anyone use a betting broker? Have you tried it? on: February 04, 2021, 09:17:14 PM
The reason might simply be, it is convenient. Betting takes your time away from other things that you can use to increase your cashflow. This is the first time that I have heard of betting brokers but I am familiar with this scheme because this is how stock brokers work too. The exception here is that, you really can lose your money because of other people, the bets they put might put you in a bad place. Although it looks good on paper, it is a bad thing for me, this can be used as a way to scam someone without knowing so, they can bet in their accounts in opposition to your account.
I get the point you're trying to put across but that's just weird. I mean people definitely use brokers but I never imagined it to be because they wanna take the time off of betting. Gambling is fun and exciting and should be done during your wee hours so using a broker feature to take time off of gambling kind of defeats the whole purpose.
967  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC Reaching 1million Still Unrealistic on: February 04, 2021, 09:08:09 PM
It definitely isn't possible now, but in the future it will be. The thing about this is bitcoin is that it's not based on fiat, or in that matter anything that backs the price of fiat, so completely seeking for bitcoin's price to reach $1M doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be a very high amount in the future, on the account of inflation and a possible hyperinflation of the USD.

969  Economy / Economics / Re: Coin exchange markets create the coin "out of thin air " on: February 03, 2021, 10:26:16 PM
Pretty sure exchanges like Binance just match you with someone else who wiuld like to trade too so there's no coins created out of thin air because basically you guys are just baking the bake on. . And in the process they were badicslly judt passing up the coin. So again, there's no coins being created out of thin air. A simole answer to a simple question
970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is been Spotted in Google Search said Hoffman Investigation on: February 03, 2021, 10:20:56 PM
Doesn't matter realy whether the guy shows himself or not, the public had already made up its mind that the real Satoshi Nakamoto will never reveal his identity, so any other person without sufficient evidence to provide is just another schemer aiming to profiteer.

Also the link you gave gets me nowhere, would have been interesting to read something about the man himself but ph well.
971  Economy / Economics / Re: What if you had invested bitcoin instead of gamestonk? on: February 03, 2021, 10:18:15 PM
I believe the main reason they did thr Gamstonk pump wss because they want to take revenge on rich people taking advantsge of the common joe, so with investing in GME you can pride yourself to being part of this noble cause. But if it's long term and secure profits you are looking for, then BTC is the answer for you hands-down.
If the entire damn internet decided to re-apply the same thing they've done with GME but with BTC instead, I doubt BTC would be more resistant to those swings. It's the market just going crazy for a while.

To be honest, I don't have a solid proof for this but I remember Bitcoin swinging wildly in most bull runs it had before, and the negative swings are quite strong as well. To me, it only seems like they're trying to replicate what cryptocurrencies do during bull runs but in an even more appealing way in order to attract customers from crypto back to stocks.
Well that can also be true but primarily, they did this to just bankrupt the rich who picks on GameStop's stocks and have been using it as a money maker while the company is in deep gunk and shambles, not to mention the millions of dollars these bankers take from their client which added fuel to these enraged redditor's will.
972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Faketoshi: back at it again with more false evidence on: February 03, 2021, 09:36:02 PM
Seriously? At this point I'm not even sure why they keep on confirming they are Satoshi Nakamoto with stupid evidences that barely scratch the surface. If they are indeed real then show the people that they can unlock and make use of Satoshi's thousands and thousands of bitcoin stored in his wallet. Or don't and remain in silence, does matter anyway if they are the real main man himself.
973  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami Mayor Will Allow Employee salaries in Bitcoin on: February 03, 2021, 09:26:22 PM
A great leap of faith that is sure to pay off well!

About time more influential people take on the cryptocurrency industry, and what's really good about this is the fact that sinve the employees' salaries are paid in bitcoin, it'll be easier for them to decide on how they will jumpstart their investment journey with bitcoin, ehich is really cool IMO. Now there should be more people inspired to consider taking advantage of bitcoin now more than ever.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Joseph Stahura avoids jail for all the campaign funds he used for gambling. on: February 03, 2021, 09:10:55 PM
Justice was never fair for a certain price. These peopleget away with their crimes with no consequences because they have strong connections within the justice system, or they literally just have enough money to pay prosecutors and judges. What normally would have costed him jailtime is revoked despite him using $255,000 from his supporters. A big douche if I must say.
He should be behind bars due to graft and corruption he committed because instead for implementing projects that should benefited the public he'd use that money to benefit his private interest and thrown it all away in gambling.
The judge seems to have not ruled out what is to be appropriate crime to the former mayor. The justice system from that country must be also corrupt.
Or perhaps the judge ruled the possible implications of the crime but was paid beforehand so he/she opted not to impose charges on him
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin is like planting trees on: February 02, 2021, 10:53:03 PM
Definitely. And just like a tree, you ought to take care of your bitcoins in order to get the most out of them. Because bitcoin is more than just a tree. It's a fruit tree, giving you the opportunity to earn more than what you came up with. So take care of yiur bitcoins in all ways possible, and you're sure to become a very rich farmer in the future.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How often are people really hacked out of their BTC? on: February 02, 2021, 10:48:00 PM
Pretty sure people get scammed or hacked off of their precious bitcoin investment everyday, just not that major to cause an uproar in the media, but still enough to put a lot of people into depression and in shambles. Just a couple of days ago a friend of mine got hacked out of his bitcoins, he wasn't able to get them back so we just decided to chip in some cash so he can restart his investment. Then we advised him to buy a cold wallet, and ensure that the keys are kept so he can access them whenever he needs to.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST GAMBLING MOVIES OF ALL TIME on: February 02, 2021, 10:42:17 PM
21, that movie inspired me to study more and become as intelligent and cunning as the main character. Plus the movie is inspired from a real MIT Blackjack team, which gave me a boost of confidence knowing that with enough training, I could get myself banned in Las Vegas too for being too good at gambling.
978  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian currency big problems on: February 02, 2021, 10:11:59 PM
Russia's enemies actively downplay them, that's why things like devaluation of the Ruble happens. It is quite justified too since Russia does things that are a bit upsetting, but so far in the past few years they have gone a bit more calm than decades ago where they show how mighty and willing to war they are.
I would say one of the main reasons is the fact that Russia does things that upsets other nations, all those Putin and his rivals type of discussions are not just a "accepted fate" in other nations, they do not have to accept it, they could just dislike what is going on and move to other nations. That could be oil, that could be anything Russia produces, which means there will be less and less things bought from Russia, and Russia would keep buying stuff from around the world, you think they do not use facebook? not google things? not buy macbooks? not deal with any American companies? That is just USA, they are still dealing with every nation, whereas other nations work less with them.

So, Russia will have a bigger and bigger and bigger economical problem as long as they keep upsetting the world and making them not work with Russia due to their hate for Russia.
This is true. Putin would've already caught wind of this and that's why they're not as aggressive and arrogant they are now as compared in the past. They wanna make sure they win back international favors, so they have to act a bit more pleasing.
979  Economy / Economics / Re: A user's turns his $130 into $1,30,000 in just 3 days (NFT) on: February 02, 2021, 10:06:04 PM
NFT is a field for connoisseurs and collectors. Much like model trains and all, to the common person NFTs wouldn't amount that all, considering how most of the artworks presented requires little to no editing at all. Then again I see this industry a profitable venture, being a toy collector myself, I feel the people's gravitation towards NFTs.
980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: February 02, 2021, 10:03:11 PM
60 million is a huge amount of money, pretty sure everyone in her neighborhood would be seeing her as some sort of celebrity and that stauts can be retained depending on how she spends this huge amount of money. A lot of people in our country tend to dry up their winnings because they are not financially literate, hope this Toronto Winner is so she and her children's children get to enjoy her winnings too.
