981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: October 25, 2023, 01:55:16 PM
So, imagine Ngannou taking on Fury, who's considered the heavyweight boxing champ. This could be his ticket to the top, opening the door to even bigger fights. Those names you mentioned? They'd give someone a challenge, especially Wilder. He's a knockout artist, and that alone makes it a match worth watching.
Regardless of whether Ngannou wins the fight or not, it is quite possible this could be the catalyst that indicates the decline of the very names I mentioned previously (Joshua, Wilder, Usyk and Fury himself). How much longer can these boxers continue as they head towards their twilight years?

But hey, let's not get ahead of ourselves. These are just possibilities, and we can't ignore that the odds aren't in Ngannou's favor. If he manages to beat Fury, that'll silence all the doubters and prove he's the best. It's kinda funny how Fury looks less in shape compared to Ngannou. His physical appearance is a complete opposite to Ngannou's. Maybe that's why, at first glance, people might lean toward Ngannou as the favorite.
Fury has a habit of turning up in the big fights and winning, regardless of the way his physique looks. What I found interesting in their face was when Fury stated he trained for double the usual time for a fight simply because he had to
982  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $6,000 Stuck on Bitsar.com Exchange. Offering 30% reward for recovery on: October 24, 2023, 04:02:33 PM
I didn't get the coins and the exchange doesn't answer my emails. I've no idea if I will get my coins back ever.
This was not the outcome any of us wanted to read. I was hoping the situation would have been resolved in your benefit by now but sadly you are still left in the dark. At the moment it looks as though the chances of you having your coins back look very slim but stranger things have happened.

It's like the exchange was abandoned by the owner. Bitsar doesn't update the social media or login on the Bitcointalk forum.

The $6,000 is now worth ~$9,000...  Undecided

I want to increase reward to 50% if anybody can contact this exchange owner
It is completely unfair on you, there should be no need for you to offer any money just to be able to get your funds returned. The Bitsar forum representative was last online 25 days ago therefore how much time will you give them before you create a flag?
983  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal For NoorulHuda. on: October 24, 2023, 11:11:40 AM
That's the reason I don't know what should show or post to prove that account was no mine but was my brother's accounts.
Below post from 5 April 2022, and my account was banned on 24 April 2022.
Well, if you claim it was not your ETH address why are you bumping this thread from to time instead of writing directly to theymos to put your side of the story forward? Surely he can tell you why you have been banned. It will be very difficult for any member here to have any sympathy with you because over the years we have seen far too many instances where brothers, sisters, uncles and aunties along with mothers, fathers, cousins and friends have been cited to provide cover for implausible outcomes.

I am not stating the NoorulHuda issue is on the same level asnaim027 but after seeing what that account is doing others will probably try to do the same.
Yes I'm aware of this naim027, but my case not at all same or even similar to his case, me I'm still waiting for the actual reason of my ban.
You should stop bumping this thread as you pleading ignorance or will not get you answers. Do not post anything now, give up on the account and focus on the other ones you are operating that have not yet been .
984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The end of Lightning Network? on: October 23, 2023, 02:52:29 AM
Not sure why some people are calling it dead already.

1. While he's a core dev, he's definitely not the only dev

2. Lightning has never been perfect. But while it technically works, it's simply not ready yet. There's a reason why I never recommended it to normies yet as of yet. But, let's not forget that —

3. Software can be improved
How much impact can one core dev have on the project if he pulls out? It will probably allow for other devs to put forward different likelihoods of how to go forward. Maybe other devs can start finding workarounds or solutions. It may end up being one temporary solution to another but if it works Lightening users will not complain too much.

How many normies actively use lightening in ratio to transaction?

Lightning's fucked, but not dead. I don't see why it would be. There's just too much support for the network, and they're filled with capable devs that could take from where Riard will leave. Plus at the end of the day he's not the glue that puts everything together, long as there's people who are willing to improve upon Lightning Network cause just as what MK4 has said it's far from perfect, it will remain functional and pretty much alive. In the event that it does die, I don't think it connotes to anything other than previous efforts about Layer 2 solutions being moot.
That cannot be denied, Lightening does have a lot of support and it is used more commonly than before therefore it is going to continue. Some of the noises about it becoming a relic of the past soon are somewhat premature but they will not stop until there is improvement to show it is capable of functioning more widely.
985  Economy / Lending / Re: I need 65€ for my phone bills on: October 23, 2023, 02:27:44 AM
Imagine a newbie using multiple accounts to ask for a loan. Even if 1% of his attempts were successful it would encourage him to keep going.

If he was a genuine member looking for a loan he would have made some effort with regards to collateral and asked for a small loan in the beginning. He first asked for 12500€ before trying again with a much more manageable 65€ but it was too late as he had already been marked therefore the thread should be locked.

This is not acceptable here everyone is aware of scams and your account is even a newbie
986  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - BKB token REFUNDS - $70k refunded so far on: October 23, 2023, 02:18:28 AM
If you did not need a bankroll if you were to open the website to players, what is stopping you from re-launching again? Keeping the email requirement aside, is it purely down to time restraints and nothing else?

I cannot verify (I think it is impossible for anybody to verify) if you really have refunded $70,000 to BKB token holders but is there no other plan at the moment other than allow existing token holders to play and close the website after investors are made whole again?

This is not a statement to entice investors, we wouldn't need investors for a new bankroll if we were to open to players.

I wouldn't be happy to sell the website domain at this time as it's used for email communications with old investors.
I am willing to sell a copy of any software used on the site in the past to anyone interested, funds from any sale would go towards investor refunds.
987  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitDice Robbed Investors? CSNO lost 80% value on: October 23, 2023, 01:51:31 AM
I only came to discover this thread recently, I cannot recall reading it or posting in it but after reading through what I would say to you is that I noticed that you have been a forum member since 2015 and you have a good reputation. You have been here long enough to know on that basis alone, you should never give any form of priority or importance to any member that does not have the decency to respect you. Always keep in mind you must be aware you are not compelled to answer questions when they are put to you in a manner that you find are provocative or distasteful. Use the ignore button, I do it frequently with members that deserve to be ignored.

In a nutshell, if I have understood the context (as well as some literal explanations) of your replies, you were/are not the first and will not be the last member that has been employed to work for a project that went on to effectively scam investors and customers.

By your own statements, you had no involvement with the team pre-ICO except for the bounty campaign and you became an employee after the ICO. As you had no involvement with the team beyond your remit in customer services you were never told where the funds were spent/siphoned therefore you cannot be accused of being part of the scam. Other than by posting walls upon walls of nonsensical text in post after post, if anybody can prove contrary to your claims of innocence they would have posted evidence by now.

There is nothing that anybody can say to negate the damage of financial loss incurred by ICO investors and customers. It must have been a painful experience watching their investment fall in value but having said that if you were not involved in scamming you should not be held to account. I am opposing the flag for obvious reasons. You have provided detailed explanations, more than I would ever have given therefore you should refrain from posting in this thread again until/unless serious accusations with evidence are posted to counter your explanations. Do not waste your time with pointless inquisitions of your character.

I will not be following this thread, I have used the unwatch link and I advise you to do the same.

I admit I've been rather frustrated about this situation.

What I was mostly frustrated about was that it seemed like a personal attack against me. My reputation is important to me. Knowing that I can't undo my involvement with BitDice is something I deeply regret in hindsight. I wish I had understood what was to come earlier but I was very overworked with just customer support the last years and I had little time for anything else other than that. That's why I've been insisting that I didn't have information other than the little I have given. The management very much treated me just as regular customer support.
988  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: $6,000 Stuck on Bitsar.com Exchange. Offering 30% reward for recovery on: October 23, 2023, 12:46:42 AM
Though the thread is five days old, it has now been seven days since the OP claimed the incident took place. What is going on when a customer wants to make a withdrawal but is not being given a straight explanation as to why his request is stuck at pending for a week:

The OP should post an update either stating he received his funds or he is still waiting. That way he can be advised accordingly.
989  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitsar.com -Lightning Cryptocurrency Exchange. No KYC & No Registration Required on: October 23, 2023, 12:38:07 AM
You made the post here on 16th October and the  scam accusation on 18th October, can you tell us exactly what communication you had with the Bitsar team regarding your pending withdrawal? From the image you posted previously, it seems today is the 7th day since this incident occurred and that is a long time for any withdrawal to be pending. It has also been four days since you last posted about this issue therefore an update would welcomed.

Has anybody used this exchange? is it trustworthy?

My withdrawal is stuck on "pending" for a long time Undecided
990  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: October 23, 2023, 12:01:21 AM
That was one of the things that came to my mind but there is also a possibility he never made it to his destination. It is frustrating that we do not know anything about the reasons the website (along with $40,000 DAI) was abandoned. Though it cannot be ascertained beyond reasonable doubt as to what actually happened to the Whirlwind forum representative, at the moment it does not look like anything close to an exit scam.

Perhaps the owner was immediately arrested upon reaching his destination? That would be the only plausible scenario unless he did not have cellular coverage so had to arrange that for a few hours or a day and then got arrested.
991  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - BKB token REFUNDS - $70k refunded so far on: October 22, 2023, 11:00:40 PM
At this time there is no way for any players to deposit and play.
We don't have time to run BetKing as a casino at this time.

We may open to deposits and add extra games in future if we can find someone to run and market the site.
If you do not have time to run the casino at the moment and if this is a statement used to entice investors (or put them on alert), can you elaborate on the deal that you would be happy to sell the website? Are you looking for sell outright or are you looking for a cash injection to re-open the casino with a workable bankroll?

Any posts that are clearly signature spam or that are just attacking without reading the OP will be deleted.
How will you delete any posts you disagree with when the thread is not self-moderated?
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: October 22, 2023, 10:48:39 PM
These are the results of the game that took place this weekend:

Liverpool 2-0 Everton
Bournemouth 1-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Brentford 3-0 Burnley
Manchester City 2-1 Brighton and Hove Albion
Newcastle United 4-0 Crystal Palace
Nottingham Forest 2-2 Luton Town
Chelsea 2-2 Arsenal
Sheffield United 1-2 Manchester United
Aston Villa 4-1 West Ham United

The game played today was decisive, it ended with Aston Villa comprehensively defeating West Ham United. In other games, Newcastle United beat Crystal Palace to move up to 5th place in the table.

Liverpool won the Merseyside derby and Chelsea lost a 2-0 lead to end their game against Arsenal 2-2. The other notable game was Manchester United winning away at Sheffield United.
993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: October 22, 2023, 09:40:04 PM
If Ngannou manages to beat Fury, he will need to do it twice because of a rematch clause. If he manages to defeat Fury a second time then it will pave the way for him to fight any other boxer. There have been many rumours that never resulted in confirmed fights for example of Joshua vs Wilder and Fury vs Usyk therefore Wilder vs Ngannou is just another one.

In my opinion, Fury will score a win over Ngannou and that should mean the remaining top fighters will stick to fighting professional boxers.

If there really is a rematch clause for them, it will be good for Ngannou. I think he is also eyeing to fight Wylder, legitimizing his boxing path and probably going into boxing while also into PFL.
994  Economy / Reputation / Re: Questionable Merit History From: deadsea33 on: October 21, 2023, 02:17:47 PM
"JollyGood" I don't know why I got negative. I have already said that I do not have an alt account.
You received a negative tag from me because your _Hiloveua_ was the prime beneficiary of the fake word game that was created by your deadsea33 account to award merits to your farmed accounts (including the _Hiloveua_ account).

Can you tell if my account is connected to any other account?
I can tell, that is why I gave it negative trust.

My mistake was I was in deadsea33's word game. As far as I know there is nothing wrong with participating in such games.
No, the mistake your deadsea33 account made was to rig the game in order to ensure in the majority of cases nobody else was in a position to post the answers before any of his farmed accounts could. The sheer number of merits involved and the dates/times/threads they were awarded speak volumes:

===============

12th September 2023 must have some special meaning from deadsea33 to your _Hiloveua_ account because in the space of under 7 minutes you received 28 merits on 22 different occasions. That sort of prolific merit distribution in under 7 minutes has probably never ever happened in the history of this forum since the merit system was introduced.

Having said that, there are some suspicious activities by other members in that thread (and elsewhere) but for reasons I will not explain, I decided to not tag others (for now at least) beyond the following accounts:  _Hiloveua_ , Rbolisna and Ripon9909.

Moreover, deadsea33 is definitely committing a crime but why should the participant be punished for that.
Because the evidence available points to merit abuse.

Can you tell how these accounts are alt accounts? I always respect DT members but this kind of act is really not acceptable. "JollyGood" will answer these questions.
I have answered these questions.

Even though you are operating a newbie account, it seems it might not be your only account otherwise you would not simply find your way to this forum in order to ask for a loan.  You have made just two posts since creating your account last month and both have been used to ask for a loan.

How can you ask for 12500€ last month and then ask for 65€ this month when you already know nobody is going to give you any money?

Loan Amount:65€
Reason for Taking out a Loan:Bill
Amount to be repaid:75€
Repayment Date:November 6.

After reading the available information about team selections and probable starting line-ups, I will give my opinions on how the games will play out tomorrow. Feel free to share you views.

Liverpool 1-2 Everton
Bournemouth 0-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Brentford 2-0 Burnley
Manchester City 2-2 Brighton and Hove Albion
Newcastle United 3-1 Crystal Palace
Nottingham Forest 1-1 Luton Town
Chelsea 3-2 Arsenal
Sheffield United 1-0 Manchester United

There will be a fierce match in the Merseyside derby but I eventually I think Everton will get a win. Brighton are going to cause problems for Manchester City and Newcastle United will get the win against Crystal Palace. As for Chelsea, this is where they win three consecutive games and expose weaknesses in the Arsenal defence. The pressure will mount on Ten Hag if Sheffield United win tomorrow. It will be another exciting football day tomorrow  Grin
997  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] The Anon virtual VISA card, No personal information needed. on: October 18, 2023, 08:31:15 PM
Welcome to the official PayWithAnon Bitcointalk Thread
When will you pay jonaedbd?

So if we load the card with $1000 we lose $100 off the top? Seems like a pretty high fee if ya ask me. Why wouldn't I just use an exchange and send the money to my bank? 10% fee just to avoid KYC? 10% everytime I load the card?
Well, if it is a genuine business they have every right to set their own fees but to be honest it seems as though this will be a self-defeating exercise on two fronts. First, they have not paid the developer that created their website and second it seems they will not generate any business because of their rates.

And this is the point at which the plot thickens. Not only do we have a newbie claiming to provide an anonymous virtual VISA card business, we have another newbie who is claiming to be the developer who did not receive his payment. According to your screenshots, this is the MTCN he sent you at Western Union. I checked the WU website and can confirm this MTCN does not exist: 3209335897
Thanks a lot for this confirmation.
No problem, the MTCN does not exist that is important to state. In your opinion, why would the OP state this: "Hi, we have received several messages about his. Unfortunately, this is a dispute between the developer and the company he works with, not with us. We paid our dues. But nevertheless we are trying to mediate."
998  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Whirlwind.money | ⚡No Fee⚡ | Ultimate Privacy | Anonymity Mining 12% APR🔥 on: October 18, 2023, 04:49:13 PM
The most plausible scenario I can think of is that WW was run by a single person who had a history of running another mixer and stayed off the radar for a good while until they decided to launch WW, the person made a mistake somewhere along the line and got exposed by the authorities, he probably had to leave to somewhere "safe" where he actually had no access to the mixer's backend and was communicating with Hhampuz using a mobile phone or something, and then he got arrested.
This certainly is a possibility, he communicated with Hhampuz yet did not access his server to make any changes to correct the anonymity mining payout issues.

Another very similar speculation:

Now if we track back to when all of this took place it was around 15 Aug 2023.

On Aug 17 Western District of Texas: U.S. District Court published case  1:23-cv-00312-RP document Document 94, a case between OFAC and Tornado Cash.

On Aug 23 Roman Storm (one of Tornado Cash co-founders) was arrested in the state of Washington

Hugeblack did mention the similarity between WW and Tornado Cash, adding that everything that happened around that period gives more "credit" to this theory, it looks like Roman Storm was forced to abandon the project, probably because his lawyers knew about the case and the arrest coming and asked him to stay away from everything crypto, which is what anyone would do knowing that you are about to be arrested and taken to court for a similar project you worked on in the past.
On the surface, this seems to be more than a coincidence. There is a possibility there was a connection between the mixers and that was the reason Whirlwind was no longer functioning as intended but we are all speculating because of the lack of information from the team.

Furthermore, the person behind WW is indeed an intelligent person who knows a lot about blockchain + coding and also speaks very good English (probably someone who lives in an English-speaking country), and has a lot of funds to run and advertise such a project, Roman is a good fit for all of these categories (I am just speculating)

When adding everything together, I just can't believe that this was an average exit scam, it's just a project gone wrong as far as I can tell.(again, I am just speculating)
It is difficult to argue against that point. It does seem as though something went wrong with the project entirely rather than this be considered an exit scam. This could be a smokescreen to cover for future withdrawal from the address but it seems highly unlikely.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: October 17, 2023, 11:43:11 PM
@JollyGood I doubt that Arteta will let overconfidence sink in his player’s now because last season when they became over confident they ended up losing the league title hence I’m sure that he’ll be telling them to focus hard and not take anything for granted.
I think they already are overconfident.

In my opinion there are more chances of Arsenal finishing outside the top two this season. I cannot see them continuing their brilliant form from last season. This season will be different because they will have Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City to contend with and if (as expected) Chelsea and Manchester United get their act together Arsenal will have a fight on their hands to finish in the top four.

Furthermore Poch is getting better now and this could be an excellent opportunity for him to tell the world that Chelsea is ready to take on any team now hence I expect Chelsea to give Arsenal a pretty hard time and thus the game may just end up being a draw?
Chelsea have won consecutive Premier League games for the first time this season and they will go all out for a hat-trick. Arsenal will be favourites to win but I am fully expecting Chelsea to take all three points.
