I haven't used them and don't plan to. I am worried about the constant flow of horror stories about them. Regardless, I always advise people to move their coins somewhere else immediately. 3rd party wallets are always a terrible idea, and I hate for newbies to think that Coinbase is a real wallet.

Nothing but a gmail address? Looks legit.

Not enough, but getting nearer to my all-time goal. Getting less and less willing to take much risk in this market.

BTC-E is so panicky and volatile. I love it.

the us is decimal phobic for the most part. I for one hopes it catches on.
You can speak about mBTC, or even change most of the balance from BTC to mBTC Yes, I think eventually the unit commonly used may be mBTC, and eventually perhaps even a satoshi. Who knows, though.

Tweak the BTC machine? What are you saying exactly?

Could be 5 years, could be 20. Could be never. Bitcoin could go to $0.

Offering goods or services is generally the best way. Is there any kind of good or service you can offer in the marketplace? That may be a place to start.

No easy way. Faucets don't pay out much. You may be able to get a few bitcents in the gambling subforum. Unless you're buying, there is no quick way....

I picked up some when they went below .01. I sold all except a couple hundred at .014 or so. I might pick up some more if it drops more.

Didn't know people were still making these clone coins....

No dice for me. I stick to poker and the occasional sports bet. Things I have some knowledge of and control over.

Sell into strength when the time is right. Question is, when is the time right?!

Arvind, kindly piss off.
I know, right? This is too much....

Any speculation as to where these coins were sent?

rampion,
you abhor debt, but at the same time are dumbfounded why he would sell off his bitcoins so that he can get out of debt.
I sold hundreds of bitcoins back in march/april to eliminate myself of debt, and i regret NOTHING.
I see, its just that it takes a while to me to understand because i've NEVER been in debt in my life. NEVER. In debt or held a debt? Don't they have credit cards in Transylvania? Yes they have, but I never use them for my personal expenses, I use debit cards. Why I shouldnt use the money I already have, instead of the one that I *might* have in the future? Good to have them in case there is an emergency, but why using them systematically and recurrently? Its plain retarded in my book. I lived off credit cards when I was out of work for six months. No regrets here. I see a lot of people get into debt in an emergency only to never, ever get out. That's often how it works. At some point, you choose between staying maxed out permanently and falling off the grid. Shrug....

I don't see it happening. Bitcoin can tap these markets, sure, but what does the rise of bitcoin have to do with this? Bitcoin will be the only conceivable store of value?

I've found nothing yet that compares for indicators, unfortunately. I, too, am driven crazy by the 502 errors.

Uh oh. We seem to be approaching one of my sell targets. Perhaps I should revise that number. But I can't help but feel like this will turn into a triangle rather than a straight bull run.....
