interesting ideas.

though i dont see why there cant be many multiple coins on one 'staker' like one HDD can run plenty of nodes.

ive tried opening this wallet a dozen or more times.

i tried emptying the .conf file - no joy

tried 3 recommended nodes - no joy

i even restarted my machine with nothing else running and still 'is not responding' half a dozen more times...

stating the cause is RAM is misleading i think as I have 4 gigs of RAM & many other wallets use similar/more RAM and more proccesor power than offerings (LTC/BLK/IXC) and yet they open first time (albeit slowly)?

Gemini is currently available by invite only. New invitations are going out weekly, so sign up at gemini.com to get early access.

my experience;

type connect=144.76.91.109:20000 in the offering.conf file

that got me from 90 weeks to 4

then it I/O Error'd me & couldnt get the wallet to open a dozen times.

removed connect=144.76.91.109:20000 from offering.conf

restarted the wallet and it finished syncing.

good luck & let us know if it works out

We have a good opportunity at Cryptopia to create market pairs with Uno as the base currency.
Do you own or collect any of the other coins listed at Cryptopia? If so,  come over and setup setup a Uno market for it.

A couple of my favorite's are Blazr2's Offerings to Cthulu and 23skidoo, so I've set up those markets.

pretty grim ask price there, considering the 'going rate'...

struggling here - down to 4 weeks from 90, now she wont even open!

i tried connect=<one node> that got me to 4 weeks. now if/when it opens it has I/O error immediately.

i tried using the zipped blockchain - failed to open.

What the fuck does the indonesian military have to do with talking about hot asian girls, stick to the politics and society section thanks, bye, yes it's bad, but this thread isn't to post about that.

do you think they finger them cos they're not hot??

and regardless of what you may think, i'll post what the fuck i want. ESPECIALLY in an off-topic thread.

bye, Ostrich!

989  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about how hot Asian girls are. [NSFW] on: June 10, 2015, 09:07:48 AM
just a quick aside

- did any of you read about the indonesian soldiers requiring fingering (front & back) in the name of national security??

The Human Rights Watch research discovered all branches of the military – air force, army, and navy – have used the test for decades and also extended the requirement to the fiancées of military officers.

The vaginal examination is given early in the recruitment process as part of the applicants’ physical exam.

Maj. Gen. Fuad Basya, the Indonesian armed forces spokesman, confirmed to the Human Rights Watch that the ‘virginity test’ has been conducted on military recruits for even longer than on Indonesian female police recruits.

And Gen, Fuad told Fairfax Media: 'It is done in order to get the best people both physically and mentally.'

that is so fkd up it beggars belief! how many guesses if other countries have similar 'screening' ?

In February plans to force high school girls in Indonesia to pass virginity tests in order to be allowed to graduate were met with fierce criticism by campaign groups and Muslim leaders.

The district council in Jember, in East Java province, was said to be drafting 'good conduct' regulations that would have forced girls at high schools to prove they had not had sex before they graduated

not to try and rock the ixboat but you seem a bit over-emotional.

is it AT ALL possible that 'lets blow up ixcoin community' could have meant....

Top Definition. To become famous, successful, and respected usually within a small amount of time    Huh

thats what i would take that as meaning these days, but i just want to be sure you're not getting worked up over a misunderstanding/slang.

Well I can cross scrambling to find Windows solutions for everyone off my list. Back to linux my love, that no one cares about. Cheesy

if one were to upgrade to a new laptop, with linux or no OS at all - what would you advise recommend for a relative linux virgin?

as i understand there are a lot of linux variations, TIA

If you are really concerned with the UI, what I had to do on occasion with my SP20's when I was having network problems and had them set on DHCP was connect each directly to a computer, (with no other network connected to that computer) and run a dhcp client for windows (TFTPD32), have it assign an IP address, access the GUI from there and then peg a static IP for that miner. Not sure if this would be applicable in your case or not.  Did you try doing an SD recovery?

im not overly concerned, it really doenst matter so long as all the chips are hashing.

ive done enough SD recovers/boots to not want to do another unless its really needed.

i considered resetting the router - just to see if it makes a diff. but so far cant be bothered.

i just reset the router - sp30 UI comes back fine - sp20 UI still a no show (but all 4 chips are still hashing)

Advanced IP scanner can see it but neither FF or Chrome or Putty can access.

i give up.

yes, lets vilify everyone who has had their uno shanghai'd by terrible dev conduct.

at you 32bit guys, i wish i could assist - i really do.

IME, its the squeaky wheels that get the grease.

go right to the source, make your feelings heard but remain mature & polite.

this among other things should NOT have been overlooked!!

998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update to 0.10 Wallet - Merge Mine w/BTC! on: May 31, 2015, 12:46:05 PM
it does not look/sound/appear good at all.

however we've seen the price lower on good news and rise on bad news so its all a bit, whats the word... unprecedented?

heres the tail end of the row, yesterday - http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/37tm1b/czs_statement_regarding_the_dispute_between/

the retort by star xu was posted earlier today - http://np.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/37u6ca/okcoins_response_to_czs_lies_and_desperate/

slightly off top - more shite from the OKCoin debacle.

http://np.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/37u6ca/okcoins_response_to_czs_lies_and_desperate/

it just gets worse & worse (and everyone else is to brame)

apologies for brief derailment!
There's an easy solution, just buy Unobtanium...

i dont see that as a solution.

especially if we're actively chasing the chinese 'market'

the same practices they have maintained wrt bitcoin (and i sincerely doubt OKCoin are alone) could be fatal to UNO/lesser alts and may well seriously harm us all - not that theyll give a shit.

have you been keeping up with whats been going on?
1000  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: May 31, 2015, 08:31:28 AM
no worries bro, i only get pissy at ppl who bring attitude, trying to convince me im lying, stupid or doing it wrong.

Everything you've said is well thought out.

pool details & watts used on the kill-a-watt  (now running at 12xx & 724watts, which i assume is all 4 hashing) - if i recall correctly, each chip is set at 165w

i havent tried accessing via another com, but i shall - before i post this. (done - see below)

but the sp30 is running fine and accessible, so im not sure what gives with the sp20

i did notice that when its set to use dhcp - it constantly wanted to use the same IP as my laptops (no idea why)

but i set it to .33 so it 'should' be there, advanced IP scanner shows it as there, but no joy with browser or putty.

OK - tested on other laptop, FF & Chrome - nothing - comes up with a blank screen with just the IP in the address bar.

im going to leave it alone as its doing the important stuff - fk a gui for now, maybe itll turn up

bless you for your time & consideration, its very much appreciated!
