Hi can you post a screenshot of the Miner status page, just the link using imgur or similar site. You might also want to copy the API log to dig a little further.
Additional useful information would be how long have you left the miner running? Have you tried restarting the Miner? Is it new or used?

Well Alladin may be a reseller. So they will not be cheaper than buying direct from the companies themselves. If you truly have 100% free electricity and that isn't going to change, you should look into buying less efficient miners for a fraction of the cost.
This could be used S9's, maybe even a bunch of Avalon 841's or 921's. You just have to weigh your options between initial cost of the miners versus buying newer more efficient models to achieve your hashrate goal.

I finally got around to updating the Competitive hardware thread, and linked your review under it. Nice to see Avalons still handle the heat, my 741's were great for that on those bordereline days when I wasn't around to tweak them.

I'll definitely tear down the T9+ and just send the board along. Your call if you want the full unit just because it's no extra cost, just more for shipping. I should be able to put this to use over the next couple days swapping out parts to help my limpy M10 get to full power. I'll find those connectors I bought and check their ratings see if they are up to par and snap a few photos if so. I'm just looking forward to comparing the power draw on the miner before and after.


I came across many of those in my search and considered adding one in at my garage panel for kicks, then I realized I have to many actual projects on the go to play around. I did almost buy a few more of these units though just to add them in as I installed more circuits down the road, might still do it in the future but for now, it's nice to just be able to test or confirm specs.

Honestly to troubleshoot it pick a pool, this way you can verify when it is working how it reports on the poolside, while also verifying if the miner will operate continuously. I can't verify this but every time I've seen someone using Nicehash with a Canaan miner they've had an issue; they've also always been new to both the miner and Nicehash I've always thought it was due to the fact that your miner may be switching where they are pointing it, based on who is renting your hashpower.

I do have a pool I prefer but you seem like you want daily rewards, so just pick a pool to troubleshoot with to at least figure out if it's a miner issue, or just a non-issue due to the service you are using.

I'm not surprised it's been thought of, you tend to find a lot of the opportunities for improvement. It just came to me while navigating a few hardware threads where there was confusion about distributors. The local rules and sales/auction threads were a bit of an afterthought for me, but made sense that this is a feature that could be useful in multiple ways.

I'm not really worried about the sale as an advertising spot. The same rules would apply to being able to put an advert in your OP, which is available but limited. More people may try to just use this feature, but I would advocate for it being disabled for varying lengths of time if abused.

Every now and then there are threads in Mining that get long and tend to bury some valuable information or simple information about legit websites to order from or deal with. I was thinking it would be nice to allow thread starters to create a Pinnable message that appears at the top of each page. This would be helpful in any information thread that carries on for a long time or undergoes changes to a system. This Pin could document changes, report problems, maintain lists - really anything that could be deemed relevant to a thread. Some auctions or raffles might benefit from this feature as well - the bids, ticket holders, and winners could all be updated in these sorts of messages.

I'm surprised we still have issues confirming whatsminer.net they have a thread in service discussion and I've properly linked them in the Competitive hardware thread. Have to find a better way to get the word out I guess.
On the note of these Demo's they had my interest peaked when I got the email asking if my customs form looked good, but no shipping yet that was 2 days ago I guess and they'll be done for the week now. They did update that they have received one at Pangolin on Telegram

Common and to code up here in CanadUS   . I'm not a fan of them as I don't have the trade tricks for tight spaces, funny you mention the Wago connectors I bought a few packs the other day from the hardware store when I was looking around. I'm probably going to use them inside the box itself, they'll be a dream- much like the first time I discovered push-in receptacles. Never having used them before I went with what I know first.

I haven't done anything with the FW in a long time. Have you reached out to Canaan and their support? What model of Avalon are you trying to run? Where are you getting your FW from. Also are you sure it's not a 3b+; iirc those are not supported.

I love what you are talking about and I think a lot of people have the same issue as us. You can see on my meter I'm always over 240 and all that gear may have a hard stop at that voltage. I remember you talking about it a few weeks ago and if I didn't have the M20 options to exceed that I'd probably be asking you for the steps to build one now. 

By all means if you do a build and create a thread or video let me know I'll link to it all day long. Here and in the First time miners thread. Seeing as some newbies out there in the near future may not have a choice if more gear moves towards a 240 hardcap.

I know you're just looking for the boards, but I have a T9+ that's just chilling out. It has 1 board that has a dead chain arrived that way and wasn't worth the cost of repair. If it's something you are interested in make me an offer, if not good luck with your hunt.

This is a DIY project because you have to, that is unless you want to spend some serious cash on a PDU with these features. I made this prototype for myself just to have a working model and then see where I can improve upon the design. In all honesty though I'm not going to need this very often but it's nice to be able to check new gear as it arrives. This will allow you to confirm for yourself the power draw of your miners among other things depending on the model you choose.

So here's the only link that really matters. It's the critical component the Multi-function power meter. There are so many designs out there but they all have some minor differences in their ratings for: Voltage, Current, and Frequency.The model I settled on is rated well beyond anything I will throw at it.

6-in-1 Digital tester My model came with the current transformer and the setup is super simple by following the visual installation. I settled on this model so I could get readings over 3000 W as I'm expecting an M20S. Apart form that I used the following that I had on hand already. * I will look for the link to what I ordered exactly.

- 12 ft of 12/2 Wire - Length is optional as needed I had this kicking around and didn't want to cut it down for a trial.
- Controller box - Easy to remove cover.
- Power cables to make cable ends - These depend on what cord ends you need - At the miner, and at your power source (PDU or receptacle).
- A couple Wire connectors.
- Not shown but it's advisable to use an electrical box for safety to hold the cable end connections. That or some other means of making the connection, it's not a good idea to leave connected wires exposed to pulling forces which could break the connections.

One thing I will point out is you need at minimum a basic understanding of electrical wiring to attach cord ends and make the meter connections. So here's some Photos. I warn you it's not pretty but it works.



So the above images are the entirety of the build and the internal wiring of the meter. I will note I would probably change a few things inside the box, like using 14 gauge wire for the sensing lines - The two leaving the base of the meter. I would either find a better material than 12/2 Wire as it's extremely rigid and can be annoying to move around.



These 3 images are my M10 running in Normal mode, then Low Power mode, followed by the other readings this was at hour 22ish on Normal mode.

Just to clarify - Norm Macdonald is now a banned account. I don't believe they were associated with Swiss Miner. The plagiarized content they were banned for was something negative about Swiss Miner and this machine.
It's not uncommon for someone not associated with a product to bring it to the forums attention. Most companies don't care to do so themselves anymore.
