1242  Economy / Speculation / Re: No trade too small (6 BTC) for 'them' to come after. on: January 26, 2016, 12:07:02 AM
Nearly a good trade Mat. I think you have makings of a good trader. Keep your emotions in check. May the force be with you.
1243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 (within a month?) on: January 24, 2016, 04:22:12 PM
There was once upon a time a crypto currency called bitcoin which hit an all time high of $32 per bitcoin. This was unheard of, however the price collapsed and when price had dropped down to about $3 or $4 dollars nobody thought it possible it could ever reach $32 again.
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold my alts, all in BTC on: January 22, 2016, 11:46:03 PM
Only one alt that interests me and in many important respects is superior to bitcoin is DASH. To be frank I'm mainly in bitcoin because network effect, halving coming up and it is globally known during time of probable economic turbulence which is coming. Bitcoin is resting on its laurels though and is not the best crypto.

If you're looking for something to short perhaps this

1246  Economy / Speculation / Re: VERY NICE MOMENT TO BUY. DONT MISS on: January 18, 2016, 10:31:39 PM
Did guy wonderful recomend binary options ?

Thats pretty bad advice. Ah now i can see why cuntchov is annoyed.

Pff. Never, ever. How I could. Better is to play casino, more chance to win.

hope you didn't think i was serious :p can't imagine anyone in their right mind recommending doing binary options or actually trading like that, except cuntychocolate of course, maybe he actually did do that trade and isn't trolling   Shocked ?
1247  Economy / Speculation / Re: HUGE BLOCKS on: January 18, 2016, 10:26:02 PM
Just a rich troll trying to make people waste time trying to figure out why so many coins are being moved.

Just ignore

This is probably about as interesting as it is.

haha a rich troll. Interesting idea.

It is wierd though.

Maybe someone prooving to someone else they own those private keys ? Big deals being made out of the spotlight ?
1248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hard fork and price - beside the panic on: January 18, 2016, 08:40:34 PM
Seems to me the number of transactions will grind to a standstill as no-one wants to accidentally end up on the losing fork.

Does anyone know why there is this sudden panic to up the block size? Are the blocks nearly full just now? I just don't see whats the panic, it is easy to increase to some new arbitrary level when needs to be done, so why do it early before its needed. It will just make blockchain grow bigger quicker before its needed.

I admit not knowing all the details but my gut tells me that the core devs are doing fine and no need for these 'hostile' fork takeovers

1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash | First Anonymous Coin | Inventor of X11, DGW, Darksend and InstantX on: January 17, 2016, 11:14:42 PM
Great to see DASH rising in price, bought some at the bottom but wish I'd bought more now. Could it be all the selling pressure was because of stolen dash from cryptsy being sold on the market and that pressure is finished now? Whatever it is I'm enjoying it for now.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins - which do you like? on: January 17, 2016, 10:52:30 PM
Dash
1252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Primed on: January 17, 2016, 10:01:58 PM
Hi Mat, thanks for sharing your analysis. But. That pitchfork served its purpose and didnt suck.   Angry  Cheesy In fact was amazing how often it predicted key turning points including the massive drop when bottom didn't hold and the high point when it touched the mid line of the fork.

However it is now most likely consigned to the dustbin you'll be glad to know.

Ok..it worked until it didn't....

But...based on what it was telling you, you were forecasting ultra bullish progression in the midst of a bearish storm brewing.

I also predicted a bearish phase which would look like a dead cat bounce which would turn out to be a bear trap. Perhaps this is it. See arrows on my chart on OP.

Maybe I'm right maybe wrong but I still think good chance there will be another bubble mania and new all time highs kicking off at some point this year.

edit: btw thanks for your opinions, despite my initial annoyance the way you rejected my fork I've come to respect your opinions, your call for a dump after looking at Bitstamp and others have been good calls.
1253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Global crisis... on: January 17, 2016, 09:11:48 PM
With tin foil hat on, to be honest I see no evidence they want to prevent a crisis. To me all the evidence looks like this is planned to be a massive global financial crisis by elite globalists. Yes 'planned'. For example look at todays news about Iran deal and how sanctions are lifted, the timing is not accident it is to cause maximum chaos. When oil is already low lets lift sanctions and flood even more oil. Look at timing of rate rise in USA, worst timing possible. Not an accident.

Out of chaos comes order. New world order. With global govt and SDR for currency. First they create the chaos.

1255  Economy / Speculation / Re: Global crisis... on: January 17, 2016, 05:24:28 PM
First of all we are not heading towards a global crisis. The mistakes of 2009 will never be repeated since we have new laws in place to prevent that from happening. Rather this is a time of declining markets, it is in fact a good time to buy stocks because of the dropping price. This market low will definitely rise back up. In 2009 many stocks crashed, that is when I purchased 1000s of shares for cheap prices I then sold them for a pretty penny in 2014.

Stocks still look a wee bit high to me. (from article linked earlier)

1256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Global crisis... on: January 17, 2016, 04:51:06 PM
Keeping the current trend, it seams we're heading towards a deep economic crisis, probably in a way that may match 1928. Trust in the markets never been so low. Basically due to turn to old bad practices which lead to 2009's crisis.

So, how do you think Bitcoin will sail through this storm?  Will it excel as a refuge or sink along?
This may also be the first time Bitcoin has to face a real world crisis.

I don't know from where come this fatalism, such predictions and such big words without any kind of source but having as arguments only one or two sentences of the OP. Writing four-five sentences about such kind of huge cataclysm seems to me like a joke who want to make in prove how easy the people might believe some bullshit words put without any kind of base, analyse or source in a new thread open to give importance such kind of news. So those sentences must make someone to comment about such predictions according to which the world is near a crisis much big than that of 2008 and that have as a "twin" only the crisis of '30. Beh, cannot write more about this topic... Have no desire to make sarcasm in this moment.

1257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nights Watch by Afrikoin on: January 16, 2016, 11:45:12 PM
Based on everything I have read and charts I have looked at, this is my current bias on price trend till June.

A lot of it is due to soft/hardfork limbo

Some of it due to an EW ABC incomplete wave correction

Some part of it due to a support line at $ 150 from May 2014.

Some part of it due to expected USD strengthening

Some part of it due to expected break below $1000 Gold. Generally, i see Gold and bitcoin as benefiting form similar economic events.

I still think we will get a speculative rise in price during/after the halving, but I'm incline to say this time it might be subdues until - soft/hardfork is reolved.

Interesting.

Slope on those lines looks quite convincing.
1258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Global crisis... on: January 16, 2016, 08:16:03 PM
Yes it is a global crisis and its going to get worse before it gets better. Unsustainable debt everywhere, insolvent govts everywhere, interest rates at or near zero which can't be raised, (dont think usa tiny rate hike was anything meaningful)

Current fall in value of bitcoin is not related to global crisis but to normal market correction of recent steep rise. Bitcoin has already proven to be a safe haven when banks and govt start imposing capital controls. Look at Cyprus and more recently China. Presumably govts will eventually try to fight this. They don't want us to escape the debt burden.

Bitcoin, gold, silver, dash and cash all look good to me at the moment. But all run the risk of being outlawed when negative interest rates and war on cash gets real.
1259  Economy / Speculation / Re: VERY NICE MOMENT TO BUY. DONT MISS on: January 16, 2016, 08:01:09 PM
Its amazing the way patterns repeat, for me this is all part of the correction and consolidation after mini bubble spike to $500. The rest is just noise. That dev who quit to me sounds like someone going, 'I'm not playing anymore and I'm taking all my toys with me'
1260  Economy / Speculation / Re: VERY NICE MOMENT TO BUY. DONT MISS on: January 15, 2016, 11:35:40 PM
cuntchocolate is it a hassle logging in and out and talking to yourself, or you don't mind ?
