The idea that cryptsy users will move to bitebe9, is like the idea of users moving from MtGox to PitGox. Unfortunately for BV, and fortunately for the rest of us, bitebe9 volume didn't pick up before cryptsy failure. That means the well informed aren't going to trade on bitebe9 with a barge pole, multipool's and other systems won't bother developing the interface for it, and the only interesting speculation is the manner of how it will collapse.

Scaling and transaction rate: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=532.msg6306#msg6306
Do not allow demand to exceed capacity. Do not allow mempools to forget transactions. Relay all transactions. Eventually confirm all transactions.

I know trading had stopped and all the rest, but when did the actual website go offline?

Interesting developments for sure.
And that 20 BTC moving way back was noted here by some other guy too.
I recall quoting him on it and laughing because of what you said.
Users could not get 0.01 BTC out yet someone was moving 20 at a pop..

I also think that was a transaction that was probably under a hair under Florida's Anti-Money Laundering Laws.

See this old Story about Florida Laws and guys getting arrested in Florida trading BTC on LocalBitcoins..
http://www.coindesk.com/localbitcoins-users-criminal-charges-florida/

And Gleb Gamow your summary you posted earlier was very thorough and accurate.

Still have no idea who "Bryce Weiner" is?

Spoetnik, the guy who recognize all the scam coins years before others recognize them and nobody can see it. For example Spoetnik already identified ethereum as a scam coin : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=707237.0 Roll Eyes

Spoetnik knows also all the big scam coin creators (adam/shake, r3wt, muddafudda, etcetc), and named them one by one in this thread.

Till now, I could not find one post of Spoetnik where he accused one of "Bryce" coins to be a "scam coin", while there are plenty proven ones (Quark, Zeta, Razor or UNO for example).

Let me help you further Spoetnik....just found this conversation.

At the moment Spartacus (or is it Spaetucus??) is proven to be a scam you were still not convinced....but then suddenly "Neuromode" (the creator of Unitis, a sidechain coin of Myriad and linked to "Bryce") steps up and you suddenly change your mind:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=698844.msg7944106#msg7944106

Spoetnik the guy who can never be convinced...now convinced by one single post....

Some background:
"Neuromode" in the lead for Unitus:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=901069.0
"Unitus" closely linked to "Myriad" (and "Qubit", "Skein" and all other coins from "bryce")): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=901069.msg9911447#msg9911447

Edit:
Even more questionably was your reaction after Quark (created by sockpuppet MaxGuevara, and a "bryce" coin?) was concluded not to be a scam coin:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=698844.msg7947104#msg7947104
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=701469.msg7929117#msg7929117
For the record the statement was false, but then you have to read the whole thread till the end. A scamcoin can not always be seen in the code.
Max (Bryce?) used a questionably scammer (Digitalindustry: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=781954.0) to hype his so called "no premined" Quarkcoin.

So Spoetnik, you are still puzzled by the person "Bryce Weiner" Wink

Found Paul Vernon personal deposit address on BTC-e 1262BBa1DavNe1a9ZVvaR1YScrsTr3KpsE, opened on 30.July.2014 (2 days after hack), which received from old hot Cryptsy wallet 68 BTCs till 3rd.Nov.2015

https://www.walletexplorer.com/address/1262BBa1DavNe1a9ZVvaR1YScrsTr3KpsE

How I know it is Paul Vernon personal address - because it got first deposit on 30.July.2014 from Paul Vernon personal wallet address 1oFmWzZRF6b2kTiTrkSJ7CQZ2JnB351oH ,which Gleb found and revealed in his post 3 months ago:

Gleb is my friend

Horus thanks you.

While trying to finish up that post of mine (just realized that I've been working on that bitch for over five hours now), I stumbled upon the following revelation:

1oFmWzZRF6b2kTiTrkSJ7CQZ2JnB351oH is Paul Vernon's personal bitcoin wallet address which he put his own money into Cryptsy account shortly after the event: https://www.walletexplorer.com/txid/a194258f828de2c126502e23e43f4a77f173c8ca2c783e035485d03725e0fcb9

Then, the moneys work their way to here https://www.walletexplorer.com/address/1G931u27C4gCnx6cXFM3U8Siv6QqE7Mp3s on January 15, 2016, five days ago, one day after Paul's blog post.

Unfortunately somehow I missed and did not see Gleb post at that time, but now after I found it I did more analysis and found Paul Vernon personal BTC wallet :

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/0e1ddbdb3eee19e8

Two main addresses in this wallet are:

1MSijnGgNRFKJAMweRcPCbF8whSpdyDUkm and 1oFmWzZRF6b2kTiTrkSJ7CQZ2JnB351oH

Believe or not this Vernon personal BTC wallet from the time of theft(29.July.2014) till 10.Apr.2015 received from Cryptsy,Bittrex,Poloniex, BTER and Mintpal 2505 BTCs !!!!

If you carefully look transactions received in this Vernon wallet you will see that before hack(29.July.2014) it received in total only 10 BTCs - 2500 were received after hack !!!!

After hack a huge flood of BTCs from all exchanges came in Vernon personal wallet.

Interestingly, at the end of March transactions stopped and in that time, on 25.March.2015 ,Vernon bought big house for 1.3 millions, so this is probably wallet from which BTCs are using for buying big house.

2500 BTC was worth at that time ~ 625.000 dolars at that time (50% of house value)

Last BTCs from this wallet were sent to another Vernon BTC wallet:

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/011ca39f6eacce61

Main address: 1Naz8JLF8STQbZ9hqAVn8wej8pMKGW5v1x

This Vernon BTC wallet from Feb.2015 - July.2015 received 4354 BTCs mainly from Cryptsy old wallet ,but also from Bittrex and some auxilliary Vernon wallets. What is really important is that this wallet received numerous deposits from old hot Cryptsy wallet bigger than 100 BTCs(at least 5 txs of 200 BTCs each) which was limit for users and only Vernon could send transactions bigger than 100 BTCs from Cryptsy - same big transactions were used when Vernon sent BTCs to BTCC China for Bitebi 9

This 4354 BTC were worth ~1.1 millions dollars at that time

These 2 wallets were enough to cover buying big house and 2 expensive SUVs

From his wallet https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/0e1ddbdb3eee19e8 many BTCs went to his third wallet on address:

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/08f327da1f81626a

with main address - 14ETojkW9Jif1N5XzMRYhjhgGZUimn7e3j

This Vernon wallet received many big txs from his first wallet, but also numerous big transactions from Cryptsy,BTER,Bittrex,BTC-e,CEX and Mintpal and received in total 5270 BTCs

1750 BTCs are transfer from his first wallet ,but the rest - 3500 BTCs are new fresh inputs

In total this 3 Vernon accounts received after theft 10350 BTCs.

Part are BTCs directly from Cryptsy, part is probably from selling altcoins which are not reported as a theft in big hack - DASH, DOGE, etc.

All these wallets were activated after a big theft

@thunderjet - Interesting for sure good work !

Other guy..
No idea what the big deal is with Bryce Weiner.
What are you saying?
This topic is about Cryptsy (read the topic title)

I doubt many coins on Cryptsy were ever made by one guy who made 1 coin.
What we always had was competing cloner groups.

If you have ties to your "Bryce Weiner" group then by all means lets hear it.
If you think this implicates Cryptsy in wrong doing other wise i think were veering off topic.

I was aware of many of the coins you mentioned but was never able to figure out who was behind them.
It's easy to see there is a group pushing lots of coins..
It's a lot harder to crack their net of secrecy and get dirt on them (when they don't want you knowing anything)

There is plenty of groups / mass cloners that used Cryptsy.. iGotSpots for example.
Where the fuck were you guys when i sat on Cryptsy asking who made ever coin ?
Amazing how in retrospect you were all legit and all knew the scammers were up to no good.
But then why was i left alone taking the heat by myself asking WHO MADE IT over & over ?

So guy if you know something i don't then go ahead & spill by the beans..
All i am hearing is you are harping, saying i don't know about that group and i guess your right i don't.
But what about them ? What is your point exactly ?
Unless it shows Cryptsy caught doing something wrong i'd say it's off-topic.
So no i am not responding to you on that.. i am waiting for the Cryptsy did something wrong proof you got.
And if you don't have any i don't see why you are posting about a coin cloner group here.

It's hard to keep track of thousands of coins LOL
That is how they want it !
And i always thought Zeta was Shakezulu.. and that WOULD be a good Cryptsy connection.
That shit coin flogger has been in bed with them for ages.
Half his coins were made FOR Cryptsy staff or staff & friends released his coins via Troll-Box with no ANN topic here.

It's a big story though.. do we forget about about the Troll-Box launched coin ADT / Android Tokens by Jagropolite ?
Again it was launched on Cryptsy chat just like CENT / Penny's from Shakulu was.

I am not trying to protect or cover for any coin cloners..
Just trying to figure out which 4 dev's in all of Crypto are NOT like that LOL
It's easier to count the legit guys than it is to sit here and count scammy cloning douche bags.

Yes, I read and read your posts about all different kind of developers connected with cryptsy.
But suddenly it came to my notice that you forgot one of the biggest; "Bryce Weiner"
And I try to figure out why you "forgot" him. Or was that intentional....Wink

I doubt many coins on Cryptsy were ever made by one guy who made 1 coin.
What we always had was competing cloner groups.

Lol, and I thought I was naive...but then no I grew up, you must pretend you are... You almost got me Wink

If you have ties to your "Bryce Weiner" group then by all means lets hear it.
If you think this implicates Cryptsy in wrong doing other wise i think were veering off topic.

Well I found some information "MaxGuevara" holds about cryptsy, discussed on the IRC. I will see how I can post it here. He got it from "digitalindustry". At least both were well informed how cryptsy fooled their customers. In that time I had no idea what it meant.
Maybe it is important and the ALT-name "thunderjet" can do something with that information Wink

I was aware of many of the coins you mentioned but was never able to figure out who was behind them.
It's easy to see there is a group pushing lots of coins..

Blabla... sure why not throw iGotSpots in your paragraph. Agreed a big scammer but off topic as well.
Ok I will jump a little bit further...

Bwahh shake creator of Zeta, who do you want to fool here? As if you have never watched this video? sure...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oX_OSq4v0M

At 1m25seconds:
Quote from: Bryce Weiner date=09APR2014
"Zetacoin? Who owns zetacoin? Are you not the happiest people on the planet right now?"

On a footnote:
- Shake worked closely with Max and did some commits in github for Quark: https://github.com/MaxGuevara/quark/commit/20f503b6d45fb8359d2a656982907688f6b51d4f
- Also "shake" can be found in the thread of Zeta.
- And quoted from an IRC meeting:
Quote from the IRC chat July 2014 (the first IRC meeting between core members James, Shake, Digitalindustry, Vic, Max and coinmama):

[22:15] <coinmama> so Max and Shake developed Quark then? I didn't know!

[22:16] <shakezula> Max gives me more credit than is due, he's the genius Wink

[22:16] <MaxGuevara> yes, shake played an important role behind the scenes while i developed the initial code Smiley
Not sure what went wrong between those two? but that copycoin cloners work together sometimes (if it is in their advantage) is public knowledge. You must remember that "Bryce" has a lot of coins to hold up and take care of...That is more than a dayjob for one coincloner.

And hey...For you Shake is on topic, and see above your connection between "Bryce" and "shake".. According to you I am on topic again Wink

I am not trying to protect or cover for any coin cloners..
Just trying to figure out which 4 dev's in all of Crypto are NOT like that LOL

Bryce spoke directly after Nick Spanos told his bicycle story about his dad, a story he'll never forget bringing a tear to his eye, hence having had to resort to checking his notes about the story for 14 minutes of the 18 minute talk about Bitcoin. The story was so moving, Bryce quoted a passage from it, as similarly did Marshall Long and Leroy Fodor, namely, "I've been in Bitcoin since 2009."

Ironically, I, like Nick, coded a clock as my first foray into computers. But I made my clock go backwards upon simply viewing the code and seeing the possibilities. That was my first and last attempt at coding (sans websites), having gotten bored with the entire experience. Also of note, Andreas Antonopoulos' first computer and my were of the same design. Here's mine:

My next computer was in the early 2000's, purchasing an ~U$2,000 system from Radio Shack while living in Biloxi paying poker for a living.

Later, I purchased a Dell.

First laptop was a Gateway, then Toshiba, and now an HP, the latter two from Walmart. I do own an early Macintosh which is in excellent working condition that my brother-in-law gave me, complete with several drives.

I stopped using this crap 3 years ago and warned everybody as much as i can.

No surprises they are gone.

Their system sucked, too slow, skipping orders, missing payments... and those were happening in 2013.

Special for Spoetnik I watched the video from "Bryce" once again, to demonstrate that one person can create a lot of coins:

Among many others he talked about the following:

Quote from: Bryce Weiner
at 4m20s: "I am on a countrycoin kick. I am a firm believer that altcoins will fund global revolution".
You remember all the countrycoins Spoetnik? he created most of them. Too lazy to provide all the links but you can find them in your beloved altcoin section.

at 6m00s: he talks about his connection with Myriad.

Quote from: Bryce Weiner
at 10m00s: "I mine everything. I own 300 different cryptocoins"
Well, I bet he did not own CENT or Cthulu from shake Wink

at 11m00s: he talks about coinkyte (was that not the coin of the rapper?) New from me that he was the creator.

at 11m50s: blake coin (one of the side coins of Myriad)

And I left out a lot of others (from my head: cataloniacoin, a coin for palestines etcetc) Just watch his video.

Oh yeah, I didn't make it or nothing to do with it. Client update 5ltc with windows qt if you need it in the future.

It may be worth considering putting the pos out to 9-12 months but it may not matter.

If you need anymore done i can smash em out for about 12 ltc a pop.

I'm using Cryptsy for over a week, and few days ago I decided to enable 2 Factor Authentication by SMS, So my account is more Secure!!!
Everything was working great for 1 or 2 days.

Since last 24 hours when I login to Cryptsy with my user/pass I get stuck in SMS auth page, as no sms is being delivered to my mobile phone. Huh

First I thought maybe it's my operator issue but I tested it by sending/receiving sms'es both localy and internationally. I also saw someone else having the same problem https://twitter.com/lifefly1/status/416761687493332992

I opened up a support ticket and after 24 hours it still being ignored. Twitted @cryptsy about problem, again, IGNORED. Found one of the officials of Cryptsy here (bitjohn) but I can't send him PM or post on his topics since I'm newbie. Cry
I don't know what else to do!

This is serious. its not just deposit/withdrawal delay/problem. I totally can't access anything, and don't know whats happening to my trades.
How much should I wait for even a simple answer from them. Angry

Steve was Nick Spanos 13th follow (not follower): https://twitter.com/nickspanos/following

This is Nick Spanos' first tweet about Bitcoin, in spite of being involved in Bitcoin since 2009 and knowing everybody in the space, including Bitcoin's creator, whatever his name is (paraphrasing Nick's own words): https://twitter.com/nickspanos/status/412656585542877184

https://twitter.com/BitcoinCenterNY was created on "created_at":"Sun Dec 22 23:25:59 +0000" (cache)

I'd say that's pretty impressive to go 4 years sans speakin' 'bout Bitcoin after being introduced to it in 2009 and knowing everybody in the space. I'll suck Josh Zerlan's dick if one, JUST ONE person comes forward and definitively proves that Nick Spanos was actively involved in Bitcoin in any capacity in 2009, 2010, 2011, OR 2012. I'd say there's a pretty good chance I won't have the opportunity to suck Josh's sweet dick.

This is the first tweet to Nick Spanos remotely related to Bitcoin: https://twitter.com/SPC_Bitcoin/status/403299062671106049 (gleaned from https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=%40nickspanos&src=typd)

For some reason the following wasn't in Nick's timeline, so I guess this is Nick's first tweet about Bitcoin: https://twitter.com/nickspanos/status/404843041397014528

I offer no apologies for ranting about Nick Spanos in this thread, for I feel it's all connected to one degree or several.

That said, let's talk about Kraken for a sec or three.

Okay, anybody who doesn't see the connection between the fruitcake Austin E. Alexander and Nick Spanos, kindly tweet, Facebook post, and YouTube yourself exiting the gene pool.

For those opting to not exit the gene pool, would you trust Austin, the Account Manager at Kraken? Further, if you owned Kraken, would you hire this fruitcake?

Okay, I see some of you tards are still sitting on the fence not willing to answer them questions until I present some evidence to persuade you to act one way for another.

Did I mention this dude's a fruitcake, albeit [perhaps] not as much as Ledoux Charles Goulceby (more on shem later, though I've already mention shem prior in this thread a few posts back via another name he uses).

The following posts may or may not have relevance:

Okay, I figured it out. And, you guys thought I was slow.

Let's see if I connected the dots correctly.

Webster Hall.
Boys who tech.
Politicians and rich out-of-towners on Wall Street.

Now that I've connected the dots, I'm having a hard time figuring out how the non-profit went chest bust.

Note that these dudes are literally literally in bed with Tea Party, Libertarian, AND Republican party [closet] members.

Bapple Real Estate in SoHo on 157 prince st. They were the only business with power in about a half mile radius. They stayed open 24/7 and were giving out free water, coffee, red wine, and sandwiches. The also had a mini cell receiver with att service and free phone charging. They were showing movies and it was a 24.7 good time. The owner and agents were class acts. I live down the street and would have trekked over to stay with friends in Brooklyn if it wasn't for these dudes. Defiantly going to them next time I move.

Go to bapple real estate in SOHO. They will find you a place for a one month fee and they have great apartments. I got my apartment there last year, paid a one month fee and the place is large, cheap and in soho. I love it.

That's not a family owned rental company- it's a firm owned by a man named Nick Spanos. I know him personally. He's an extremely rich, overly confident anti-liberal political advocate who makes a living off of buying out companies and supporting libertarian propaganda. This guy is almost a cartoon character with how much he embodies the essence of the 'New York mobster-type'.

November 26, 2013, Austin replies to the above the very next morning from the comforts of his office located in the building he just happened to walked by yesterday and noticed the Bitcoin accepted here signage: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1rg344/i_just_walked_by_the_real_estate_office_bapple_in/cdnfogb

Confident political advocate who runs a company taking bitcoin and makes a living supporting libertarian propaganda! Sounds like a /r/bitcoin kind of guy.

To recap, Austin is a lying piece of shit who sucks dicks to get by in life, currently fucking over people who use Kraken.
