After trading Holiday and Porzingis, now Derrick White and Jaylen Brown are also in trade rumors. The Celtics prefer not to move them, but multiple teams are already showing interest in Brown, and business is business. Still, if they go through with it, the Celtics might not be the same team anymore. They could lose their title contending status, and I don’t think the Celtics management would want that. If it happens, they’ll be back in rebuilding again, all just to avoid paying a high salary.

So perhaps the Celtics is rebuilding and maybe the management thinks that they already made a run with this team and that will be enough for them to let go of the big contracts of his player specially Jaylen Brown. But if they do that, and with Tatum down, I don't think that they can be on the top for next season.

They might do tanking for the next draft, since there are two big contracts of brown and Tatum, with Tatum down they dont know if they will have a playoff run next season, brown is still in contract until 2028 to 2029 i don't think they will trade him, they acquired a star player from blazers name simons.

They're going to have to do something to be competitive next season. Tatum won't be available for 90% of next season if at all. I think they'd like to keep Brown but that really depends on what's offered. If they could get a star and some 1st round draft picks for Brown, it might be worth it.

We don't know what the management are thinking right now, while Tatum is out, they are trading their core stars, let see if what will happen to their campaign this upcoming season, for me, business wise they need to free up some expense then try to rebuild a new core to help them to compete though expect that it won't be the same since new sets of players /stars that will play for them, we can't conclude yet if what may happened as there are still possibilities that they may form a new compettive squad while Tatum still resting.

Rockets commited one of the biggest mistake in their franchise, having Durant now on their line up will cost them huge price.
 They added to their roster and old and fragile player while giving out their star player and future young core.
We all know KD, only one successful trade with him is the GSW, and why ? its not him to make it, he just joined a champion team.
He can't make a weak team to a Championship calibre! he is not that guy. + he is old now and injury prone.

Just for context, Beal has a no-trade clause on his contract which makes his contract one of the worst especially when you look at his performance ever since he went to Phoenix. His stats are declining and not worth it. Heck, his performance last season is way worse than Austin Reaves who's being paid only $15M per year. I don't think that the Suns will buy him out, but the best thing that they can do is to make his stint with the Suns uncomfortable until Beal himself requests a trade, but who wants to pay a player around $53M and $57M with that kind of performance.

As for the Suns, getting Mark Williams is a good first step to rebuild their team. Williams averaged double-double still, but his injury is a problem. Now with Durant out for them, they can afford to at least sign some role players that could fill those open slots. They're worse when they get Booker, Beal and Durant, and now they will become worse now that Durant is gone. Another play-in team, I guess.

He’s a big deal. There’s a reason he went number 1. Dallas was clearly thrilled to get him, which shows they’re confident about becoming a championship team again. Sure, they haven’t won a title since the Dirk era, but reaching the Finals with Luka already says a lot.

Last season was a failure after the trade of Luka, but next season could be a different story for sure...
I haven’t followed Flagg’s career closely, but I know he’s a huge name already.

Cooper Flagg no doubt a good player and perfect replacement for Luka but not that effective immediately. Mavs still need to develop this kid until it reach his full potential same with Doncic.

No one wants to pay Beal that much, because he is not performing to deserve that salary.

I agree, it's not as fast as what people think about it. Cooper still have to go through with training so that he will be effective with the roster. Just like what the Spurs did to Wemby and look now, he's now the face of the San Antonio Spurs and he just keeps on being a massive guy that potentially will get their chip soon. And the same goes for Cooper and other top picks of this class.

Personally, I'd love to see Austin Reeves in a Jazz uniform. Also, I think the Utah Jazz need a decent shooting guard, so he could be a great fit though I don’t think it’s likely to happen. lol
If not the Jazz maybe New Orleans could be an option, especially Pelicans traded CJ McCollum for Jordan Poole. AR15 might be a solid backcourt partner for Poole.

I'm sad to see this, Austin wants out of the Lakers and that's why he has declined that contract extension. He's looking for a max contract. I just hope that he won't end up just like Dennis Schroder with his decline that he's done for the extension.

If he's for the money, he can go with those teams. But if he's going to chase for a title, there could be better teams than of those but it still depends on these teams if they have a better offer to him.
