v9.3: - improved dual mining speed stability in ASM mode. - added "-altnum" option for alternative GPU indexing. - a few minor bug fixes and improvements.
Oh bugger ... just spent the last hour updating all my rigs to 9.2 ... LOL Thanks Claymore, not complaining! Soon I will add ability to update miners on all rigs with EthMan so it will be easy. That could be tricky... but interesting. not sure if 9.3 is any better it still seems to need "-eqlim 288" form my 470s and still jumps around 0.3-1.3% of hash whats the number for 480? thanks lol this is the one for 480

Slower than 9.1 and 9.2, and no speed improvement on etc only back 9.2 version You need to use + to try different DCRI settings. I was actually able to increase intensity and gain speed.

If you cannot use 16.60, miner will fix 14->36, so it must work fine for RX480 (see the string "14 CUs is wrong, use 36" in the log). However, due to this bug there is no way to detect if you use RX480 or RX470, so for RX470 you should use "-eqlim 256" (32CUs * 8 ).

For me 9.3 is jumping from 84 to 77 Mhs somethimes 77 four times in a row on 470 I do tighter straps(1625-1500), manual volts (no offsets) on last stage 1080:1950-2000, both @ 850mv, dcri 23 (DCR) = smooth ride @ 28+MH/640+MH

9.3 rocks claymore. My stale shares on 4 machines are down from 4% to 0-2%. Will install on the rest tomorrow.

Also I tried 256 on v 9.2 after I tried 288 and for some reason I didn't like the result... now just using 288 EDIT: Seriously though, I just tested with no eqlim and with 256. Either you're missing something there or reported hash numbers are off somehow... The best results consistently and without any doubt I'm getting with 288 - from 15 cards it maxes at 421.96 and stays 95% above 420 , while 256 or none never goes above 420.16 and hangs around 419 dropping to 414 (which it never does with 288) EDIT2: well it does go down to 414 too occasionally (now I'm not sure if 9.2 did), but also sometimes to 422, while with 256 and no eqlim it never shows anything above 421. Also it seems that the numbers in EthMan change kinda twice every update... looks a bit weird... ETIT3: ohh... using 16.11.4

Even with 9.3, I still have massive fluctuations with mining speed. Rig goes from 140 MH/s, drops down to 120, and just goes all over, then back up. It's a mixed 4x 470 1x 480 rig. Not sure if that causes any difference or not.

Don't forget the luck factor. It causes the fluctuations...

@Claymore,
Thanks for the hard work, I did got increase on my miner, 2 x Sapphire RX480 Nitro+ 8Gb Dual mining, Before ETC+DCR = 60.9 / 1645 MH/s Now ETC+DCR = 61.140 / 1711
Still fluctuating but I just started mining on 9.3, will check it later, need to go sleep, time now 03:31am South africa
My settings same as 9.2 except -dcri from 27 to 28 setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe -ethi 16 -dcri 28 -epool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal "Wallet.Name" -epsw x -allpools 1 -mode 0 -dpool dcr-eu.coinmine.pl:2222 -dwal "User.Name" -dpsw x -asm 1
Keep the good stuff going!

With 9.2 my r9 290 went from 31 to 21 mh/s (ETH). SC went from 440-450 to 640. Temps stayed the same. With 9.3, eth went up 1 mh/s (22mh/s) and SC to 660.

On the rig I was testing 9.3 my PASC hashrate went down by 44 MH/s white ETH remained about same and was more stable. But that stability took a big hit on PASC hashing. Back to 9.1.

For the R9 390, there is no difference between 9.2 and 9.3.

For me Claymore 9.3 is more stable at dual-mining hashrate then 9.1/9.2, good work!

The fans shut off if the GPU temp is below 50C as they don't need active cooling. When the temp goes above this the fans will start running. The hotter the card gets, the faster the fans will run.

Yo, yea the same happened here, you need to add -dcri ## to your command, maybe start off at -dcri 30 and while your miner is running use the - sign, you will decrease the dcri by one every time and each time you press you will see new hashspeed, do this untill you find the sweet spot for both. ps. you might try adding -ethi 16, worked for me a bit.

Once you find the sweet spot you will have better speeds.
