Hi I recently started using Claymore I run Kaspersky on my PC as it is not just a mining station. I have been forced to pause Kaspersky when running Claymore as it prevents Claymore from opening. My PC defaults to Windows Defender and I have set exclusions to allow Claymore to run. Is there a work around so I can keep Kaspersky running. I have added the Claymore folder to my exclusions list in Kaspersky but this is not working. Perhaps there is another setting I am missing? Any help appreciated. Best, You can setup exclusions on Kaspersky as well.

I think Claymore did a wonderful job on this one. At first i did get a decrease from 165Mh to 140-ish with dual ETH-DCR. Then i played with it and got back up. Seems like the software is becoming more and more advanced, thus "needy" These settings worked for me: EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x3ba6Bec13899d67c4B9c37230bCd49dB822A6b35.minerx -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://decred.eu.nicehash.com:3354 -dwal 36PoLAKNUiYdUz22BuKDxBorSp2j1C7G9H.minerx -dpsw x -esm 1 -mode 0 -tt 70 -asm 0
Running 6x RX470 OCd core voltage -30mv Core 1100MHz Mem clock 1950MHz (Using MSI Afterburner)
By ASM -0 you disabled one the main features of 9.2.. Where is your DCRI value? What is it?

A very unstable situation with windows 10 on version 9.0, 9.2 is even worse. The latest version of Windows can only support the driver 17.1.2. The video cards periodically drop one by one from 28-29 to 19-22mh / s and the next line is restored. As a result, a loss of up to 5% per day on chaotic jumps. Up to 28MHs this is a little overclocking and everything should work fine. I think there is a request to track the work on the driver 17.1.2 and make friendly changes for stable operation.AMD driver 17.1.2 is the last key driver for mining in the development of windows 10 for modified polaris. The rest, above, cause an increase in the work of the "system interrupt" processor. The rest, below, have an increased energy consumption during mining.
Do you have proof for "The rest, below, have an increased energy consumption during mining." How big is difference?

Hi guys ! Correct me if Im wrong. If i see 1100 watt from the wall on my wattmeter , so on 80+ Standard PSU its 1100*0.8=880 power load of PSU. And its good enough for PSUs working conditions (1000Watt Chieftech)? I mean its about 85% of its full load.
Right ?
Affirmative.

If you have a 1000W PSU how can you see 1100 at the wall? Something is wrong... The 80+ standard is a measure of efficiency. No PSU will deliver 100% of its nominal output, 10~20% is lost in heat. Therefore, a 1000W PSU will only deliver ~800W within a limited range of loads, and not at full load. Got it? A 1000W PSU will never "suck" 1100w from the wall.... That is not correct. See here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/corsair-ax1500i-titanium-power-supply,4276-4.html"Load Regulation And Efficiency Measurements The first set of tests reveals the stability of the voltage rails and the PSU's efficiency. The applied load equals (approximately) 10 to 110 percent of the maximum load the supply can handle, in increments of 10 percentage points...... 1500W PSU Output - 1549.07W, efficiecny -89.04%, PSU input 1739.84W ......"

why -cvddc 900 on windows not working? it will use 1000 mvolt instead i checked on gpu-z XD (rx 480 nitro+oc 1190/2240) Confirmed. I did notice this as well. Some models (I have a mixture of 470-4, 480-4, 480-8 from the same brand) will not take values from -cvddc. So I had to use MSI AB to set voltage.

Hey guys, hopping is the right place to ask one question please ... found a few articles where is saying that Sapphire Radeon NITRO+ RX 480 4GB or 8GB - is the best option for Ethereum mining. Is that correct? lets suppose I have electricity for 0$. thanks!
Simple question = simple answer > It is not correct.

Well I have unplugged the power connector then plugged it back in, I don't know how else I can check it. What I can't understand is how can the risers be malfunctioning all of a sudden after days of mining? The miner doesn't move, the GPU's are secure. How can they work for days, then fail, then after a few restarts begin working again. There is no logic there unless I am missing something.
Hi rawbot, I have the same issue with my Sapphire RX 470 Nitro+ cards. Sometimes they run several days without issues and then one card starts failing and rebooting doesn't help. The only solution for me is then, to power off the miner, remove the power card and wait 30 minutes. If I power on the miner again, everything is fine. It is not a temperature issue, I have checked everything. My guess is, that something gets weird in the GPU and only a longer power off phase resets this weird state. ^^

Hi Claymore, thanks for your work. I believe I found a bug on Ethman I would like to use the http address of a PC instead of the IP address when adding the miner to ETHman Now, on the "Add Miner" window, when I write the http address as in " http://subdomain.domainname.com" the software strips out the "http://" part and add "http//" without the colon, hence is not working (I see that if I click on "view miner console"). Even if I input the http address without the http:// bit, as in "subdomain.domainname.com" it still doesn't work/update but if I right click and choose "view miner console" it direct the browser to the correct subdomain and the stats shows fine on the website but on the Ethman windows it shows nothing and the miner is shown in red. Could you please shed some light on why this is happening? Is it a bug or is http not meant to be used / not working straight into ETHman? :/ Im allsow not Claymore but i think your messing with ethman wrong way. Miner just opens monitoring port , lets say 3333. It is not web page , so dont put http:// or any http in add miner menu. Its just a service of the miner with can output info to your ethman , connecting to that IP:port. Just dont user http and domain name. Use Ip adress + port. BR. P.S. Yes. Miner can output stats in html format if you open your miners http://IP-ADDRESS:port in browser. But it not applies to ethman.

Interesting article. Looks like 50% As well as 100% load are not efficient mode of operation. from 80 to 90 % is the best PSU load.
