Hey guyS!

it's 24h since i switched to nlpool.nl for blake2s.

THIS IS much better than ahash, and DEFINATELY than unimining!

i got 470 XVG from 30 amd RX GPUs (40-42 GH)! The pool is big now almost 9 TH!

On unimining i got 360 IN 2.5 DAYS!!!!!!! THAT JUST PLAIN THEFT!

HAIL to nlpool ;-)

This.

I'm so disgusted by this guys on this pools who just think to steal people, that's not a good idea they will loose a lot of hashrate in the coming hours. bad rep is coming.

This configuration  was fun because I  just wrote my lucky number in there 5 minutes saying let it run safe, all the card same set for a while  and than I will optimize better later
but
Stable for days at 31 Mh/s ETH & 1550 Mh/s XVG per RX 580 PULSE X 8G at 50c, ~20% fan.

-cvddc 848
-cclock 1148
-mvddc 848
-mclock 1988
-dcri 48

Power draw 55 GPU 37 Memory ( Gpu Z)
At the wall its 14 % less than DCR
RX 570 pulse is a different story, Dcri is 34 with speed 30,3 around 1044 844 2092 944,  fan at 50 %, power draw GPU 70 but each of them have required time to test

To the guy that have trouble with the configuratio and wrote before:

One reason of instability is because you mix 570 & 580 in the same rig BUT you use only one -DCRi value.

but the peak of 570 and 580 are 10/12 apart

Last To be fair with NLpool, that I declare a little bit too pushy in this discussion around yesterday , I ended up testing  them,   they are (by far) better  for me of Zpool/unimining, I will test now the Ahashpool that someone mention and settle somewhere.

Anyway  NLpool guy, please take your buddies here and go to drink some beer and let the discussion quiet

ahaspool is not good - cause you can just set the algo - blake2s.

But the ahash send you diffrent coin work - not only XVG, sometimes TAJ, soetimes neva... but this coin is worthless. They should send the work that is most profitable but when they switch to those coins my BTC earn indicator went flat.. instead of rise.

That's the problem, i not accusse of steal.

I used to mine with algo switching on ahashpool was ok, but no when zec / eth i back in game makes no sense (and the stability wasnt so good, with 300+ gpu's i need stability)

pointed ~250ghs there for 4 hours

Bitcoin
(pending clearing)   0.00078446         0.00078446 BTC

sent an email to their support regarding why its mining other blake2s coins instead XVG got this response

Please read and learn what our pool do and does not do first.  You don't seem to know what you are doing at all.

jumping out and testing nlpool now will update here soon

i'm the only one noticing a 20-40% drop in antmine rewards?
Have been fine until this morning, i started receive less XVG every block, while the found blocks didn't increase.
Guess going to switch to nlpool and give it a try with some rigs..

Seems there's a consensus that for an RX 580, BLAKE2S for Verge at dcri 50+ is the way to go?
That seems to be a winning combination regardless of the GPU engine you're using.  I have my two RX 580's single mining, for now, but I'll add them to the NLpool here within the next day or two when I have a little spare time.  Maybe closer to -dcri 70 for some cards, but I am seeing a little decrease in ETH speed, so I went back to 60 to see how it rides.

Right now I am monitoring a new Kickstarter that we launched at noon here (NYC time) for playing cards ("DeNovo" / UC2018 decks).
I have to redo my OC but I found that going over 50 has quite an impact on the ETH hashrate (from 184 to 174).

Is there a topic benchmarking blake2s and keccak for the RX 580?

I have Spec edition 580

at dcri 50 30.5 Eth + 1.500 xvg with same power DCR mining.

I write here my bat file. Edit your wallet, mail etc.

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal "ETH WALLET" -cvddc 900 -mvddc 900 -cclock 1133,,1200,1200,1200,1200 -mclock 2100,2200,2200,2200,2200 -tt 65 -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://mine.nlpool.nl:5766 -dwal "XVG WALLET" -dcoin blake2s -dpsw c=XVGB -dcri 40,50,50,50,50
My 'sweet spot' appears to be about -dcri 50, also.  I haven't really screwed around with it too much yet, but I started at 25 and adjusted it over the first few hours when I moved my 2nd coin over to NLpool.nl after leaving it in single mining mode a few days after 11.0 was posted.

My cards are GTX1060/1080 and RX 580's, all with 8GB except the 1060 = 6.

Not advertising here, but I am getting VERY good results using NLpool.nl's BLAKE2S pool, and haven't tried anything beyond that with 11.0 version.  I had been single mininng for a while after I realized that all of the previous coins had been eat up by ASICs coming out (sounds right - "A-sicks").

Setup was truly easy, quick and couldn't be simpler.

Yep nlpool is the best pool for xvg now. I tried a few pools but they stole about %50. Dcri 50 is the best config for sapphire spec rx 580. I use "40" for rx 570,Wth 50 I got black screen.

It's going to vary a good bit depending on your specific luck in the "silicon lottery", really.  Just card vs card is not the only difference.  I have settled around "-dcri 65" for my 1060/6GB rig right now, and it doesn't have much - if any -  impact on my ETH mining.

Very nice for me, so far.  I seem to usually have pretty good luck, but I am doing more than 50% better on NLpool.nl than I was on my previous 2nd coin attempts, although that was prior to the ASIC deaths of the Pascal and SiaCoin mining.

As noted above, my "-dcri 65" seems to have virtually no impact on the ETH side, given that a 1% varience isn't really worth mention.  I was running at almost exactly 21MH/sec on that specific card, and now it's at least 20,9 - so no issues here.

"Your mileage WILL vary", almost inevitable.  You have to tune that parameter using the "+" and "-" keys on the keyboard - for every rig.  No two rigs, no two cards, even if they are the same model & manufacturer are going to be precisely the same.

just threw about 1000Mh/s up at nlpool

hope I have the wallet set up right

13X1070 cards

anything higher than about dcri of 7 I start to take a big hit on ETH   414 down to about 370 at dcri of 30 but I have the power really trimmed down for max eth profit/power

I will see how things work out of the pool and decide later if I think its worth it to crank up the power to the cards

Thanks to everyone involved

Nlpool blocks seemingly scarce today. Even with hashrate doubling in last 24 hours...

I agree that a pool % should be charged as nothing is free.

I can’t find the global hashrate of verge anywhere, does someone have a link as I would like to see the suggested impact of claymore on the mining of the currency.

Guys!  Please think about what you are posting: we don't need to see the entire "README!!.txt" file or half of your logfile posted here - and if we do need your logfile to figure something out for you - we'll ask.  Jeezus, people!

I run a web-based forums site myself, so I know that it's tempting and easy to just not consider everybody else, but it's truly a waste of time for people like Claymore who read (or at least try) through this whole thing three of four times a day!

Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox, now...

Sorry about that. will think next time

i was getting 2 mh/s on the gtx 780 on windows 10, installed windows 7 and latest nvidia drivers and it went up to 6 mh/s  using the same .bat file

what should be the max for my card ZOTAC GTX 780 Overclocked 3GB Edition

just an observation,  unimining and antmine pools are consitantly mining blocks with awards of 1560+ while nlpool's block awards are 1544.

my guess is uni & ant are charging upfront .5% fees from the miners after block is found, while NL appears to be charging 0% fee but actually taking 1% from every block?

Hey everyone,

I am testing out NLPOOL for everyone and will document my results for everyone to see.

So far, after 3.5 hours  I've earned almost exactly 50% of what whattomine is projecting I should be earning with my 50/60k GH/s

I will mine here for a day or two to give everyone some definitive results.   I've had high hopes due to all the shilling happening here as of late, but so far it's not looking all that great.   Maybe its too early, but we'll see just how well the pool pays out after another 24 to 48 hours.

I'll keep you posted.

I know whattomine's results can vary, but in my experience mining several different coins, its usually pretty darn close.   Funny how XVG is dramatically different.  It doesn't feel right.  Our community needs a proper pool that we can trust.  So far things look bleek, at this point at least.

Looking forward to updating everyone in a day or so.

EDIT:  I just refreshed my NL POOL stats page and it's pretty spot on!   Best pool so far.    with my 50/60 Gh/s, I've earned 56 XVG after 3.5 hours.   Not shilling at all, but so far this is indeed the best pool.   I will still update everyone in a day or 2, or you can simply just join the pool yourself and do your own tests.

Good job, NLPOOL.   Screw those other scam pools.   Hopefully the other pools can take a page from your book.    As long as you continue to be fair with your payouts, I will continue to mine on your pool, as I'm sure the entire community would as well.

NLPOOL is far better than others, at least by now...gave me more than double in comparison with Unimining.

Unfortunately Cryptopia XVG Wallet is not working since day 15...

Old lurker turned new user here.
Care to share your stable power for dual mining ETH & XVG on rx580?
I'm using 875 cvddc/mvddc. Is this too low?

I have some 580 nitro and they are very stable using 850 voltage. Just the GPU0 I need to put 900 to work well.

Stable for days at 31 Mh/s ETH & 1235 Mh/s XVG per RX 580 Gaming X 8G at 50c, ~40% fan.

-cvddc 950
-cclock 1250
-mvddc 925
-mclock 2225
-dcri 40

Timings native? and who is the manufacturer of memory? I have 580 with the Samsung does not hold anymore -mclock 2140 (ETH 30.50)

The pool seems good, and if I put 2 rx card in //  on nlpool & another with 2 separate v11 miners, nlpool gets more and find more shares with the same hashrate

But nlpool seem to have an issue with the web displayed wallet balance, that sometimes goes down without payment, as if the coins were "hidden" for some time, and later "reappear" in the balance...

It comes and goes, but always corrects itself.  I don't know enough to analyze the problem or suggest fixes, but if you'll notice - when the amounts are wrong, the graphs are usually missing any data, also.

Strange, nothing bad going on, just something isn't exactly right in the configuration for the miner pool display results.
