Is there a topic benchmarking blake2s and keccak for the RX 580?

There was a benchmark values at page 997. You should definitely check those values

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Hi, everyone!

I've decided to try nlpool out and start mining almost 3 hours ago. The problem is that after the first 30 minutes I did not earn any amounts of verge (first pic).
Is that normal?
As you can see on the second pic the hashrate is constant but no verge added after the first 30 minutes of mining?

https://ibb.co/ikJv5n
https://ibb.co/ds6F5n

P.S. Now I've got another share but the total is still much lower than expected for 3 hours. Hmm we'll see but not impressed so far comparing to antminepool...

just an observation,  unimining and antmine pools are consitantly mining blocks with awards of 1560+ while nlpool's block awards are 1544.

my guess is uni & ant are charging upfront .5% fees from the miners after block is found, while NL appears to be charging 0% fee but actually taking 1% from every block?

Good observation.. Also, Ant is finding blocks 3 times more then nlpool but hey nl has only around 1600 active miners as compared to 7000 in antpool.

I have a 6 rig setup consisting of all rx 470/40's. I can dual mine with blockchain beta and get 29mhs on each card. I recently bought a 4k tv and would like to game some. However, i tried several combinations of claymore and newer amd drivers. I setx and change the drive to computate. Only my display gpu gets 29 mhs. The rest are stuck around 20. They are all modded. Is there a fix for this? Thank you for your time.

You need to set each GPU to Compute mode in AMD settings.

Dear Miners

Please share the latest information and experience.

Do you mine etc or eth as primary coin? which is more profitable to mine at the moment? and which pool do you guys use?

I mine eth (nanopool) + XVG (antpool + backup nlpool)

here is what i get
0.2 ETH = Approx 16 Days = Avg Speed 156.0 Mh/s

I’m trying nlpool right now, let’s see. I was mining in unimining, but as a lot of people as me were with some difficult, I’m giving a chance for this new pool.

I've been mining on NLPool for about 24hours now and it's real good but those orphan blocks really hurt.

Nlpool blocks seemingly scarce today. Even with hashrate doubling in last 24 hours...

I agree that a pool % should be charged as nothing is free.

I can’t find the global hashrate of verge anywhere, does someone have a link as I would like to see the suggested impact of claymore on the mining of the currency.

Agree! nothing is free and here is the difference

http://mine.nlpool.nl/site/mining - 1544.509 XVG

http://antminepool.com/site/mining - 1562.01 XVG

so yeah I think in each block around 15 XVG are going towards nlpool owner. I could be wrong as well cause I don't know how this amount is decided.

About two hours ago (roughly when you wrote this) I was wondering the same thing, because I hadn't "hit" on a solution in about two hours, but at this point - starting about 90 minutes ago, things are back to the same rate of discovery I had during my first four or five hours.

Mining rates are never truly uniform, so I'm going to just state that I think it's normal, part of getting started with a small, but growing group.  I had two finds in the past 90 minutes and a third one appeared while I was writing this message (and right now I only have one GTX1060 pointed there).  The actual hash rate is about 500MH/sec - roughly 1/2GH/sec.

If you have noticed, Verge mining shows up at about 34GH difficulty, as opposed to the stated ETH difficulty at 4000MH (roughly 4GH), so it's about 8.5 times more difficult to find a solution or "share" than it is for Ethereum.

The thing is that we're used to orphaned blocks being useful, but only with Ethereum.  They could be "Uncle" blocks that are redeemed later.

With other crypto currencies, anything that doesn't become part of canonical truth is permanently orphaned.

Anyone else having problems with ethermine.org? About 2 hours ago both my rigs went offline on the dashboard, when I checked the rigs both are running, submitting valid shares, and receiving new work from the server, but the dashboard still shows them as offline. I double checked all my settings and my wallet address and everything is correct.

I told my friend to move to mine.nlpool.nl:5766 cause antminer is always giving much less than supposed to be. I will monitor his earnings on mine.nlpool.nl:5766.

I have no problem with a 1% fee but would like to know about it!

NEW POOL with 0% tax/fee. Join us now: https://verge.ehu.bg/site/mining

74 miners and haven't yet mined a single XVG block! I am keen to point my workers to this new pool but after it starts finding a few blocks per day.
