If the prediction of snachat's first investor happen, then we will be seeing bitcoin price at more than $500k. Exponential adoption, this will push the price fast and deflationary features will even move the price higher. Added with hype, venture legalization using bitcoins. I only see Bitcoin having more than 20x value than what is right now after 20 years.
Its a very big amount and if that happens after 20 years then all of us will be happy and become rich for each of bitcoin that we are holding. I dont have an idea about that statement of snapchat's investor or whoever is he. But let's probably wait if that is going to happen, after 20 years. We can only wait whether the prediction will happen or not, if it really happens then all who have Bitcoin will be happy, otherwise I think the price will be higher than today, so all remains happy. What might happen in the next 20 years is a higher price than now. Of course it will happen Because users continue to grow every day. It will make the price higher |

That is too high that would require an increase of price of one thousand dollars per year when just a few months ago reaching the price of 1000 was difficult enough I think a more conservative prediction will be something between 3 and 6 thousand. |

That is too high that would require an increase of price of one thousand dollars per year when just a few months ago reaching the price of 1000 was difficult enough I think a more conservative prediction will be something between 3 and 6 thousand. Well, that may happen, 20 years is a long time and anything can happen, who knows it may jump to $10 000 just after 5 years, who knows right? Bitcoin's price is really volatile we don not know what might happen. But I do hope that it just go on pumping more. |

This thread was start last year november but i could say that there is a good progress in bitcoin since last year and i think it would be more popular and havibg a great/stronger value for next 19 years!
We just continue using this digital currency and promote to those people who do not know about bitcoin it may helps in fast progress of bitcoin.

I agree with your statement, if this kind of activities will continue then the bitcoin progress to its successful peak will continue and soon we will see a lot of people using bitcoin and also the price is already spike up after 20 years from now. I know that it is a crazy prediction to say that bitcoin can reach up to 50k USD, but that is very possible for bitcoin just give bitcoin at least 20 years to prove that. |

I think that not only twenty years from now but even hundred years from now bitcoin will be live and with big probabilities the king of cryptocurrencies. As for its value for this have no idea but for sure even this will be very high. I think too that no other altcoins will surpass it even may be a better crypto. |

I don't know actually, what could it be after 20 years from now. But, I think more merchants will rise up and accept bitcoin while other business company can be that they adopt the system of bitcoin. Or it maybe by that bitcoin is the world currency in the entire world. who knows that might gonna be happen by that year. |

I agree with you that bitcoin will become more popular after a few years because of the progress that we have right now and it will continue to rise up the progress as long as we will continue to support bitcoin and continue to promote it our friends or anywhere we can so the adoption will continue and the popularity will grow. Yep it is indeed that we see this succeeding years the continuous growth of popularity of Bitcoin worldwide which we see 20 years from now will have a big role in the economy and a possible global currency. Since we really are optimistic about Bitcoin then I'm very curious as to what disadvantages might it brought to us which I cannot perceive that much. Still the success of Bitcoin will continue and will last long if not forever though. |

Yes, and i dont think that this thread is useless. It is a very long one, so there are many answers to browse. I really like such a situation, because I can look at the insights of massive amount of people plus also, how the perspective for bitcoin holders change after years and months. I think that bitcoin lately is getting bigger even faster and faster, many new people are joining the cryptocurrency community and there are even more money flowing into this markets. It is really hard to say what is going to happen in 20 years, but we will have bitcoin supremacy or a total failure. |

Because, it may be more profitable to open a business on the internet, than in the real world.
