all hashfast did was just put 4 dies onto one package....i dont see how its so revolutionary. the box is still bigger than knc boxes and way more complex = more to go wrong....
KNC also packaged 4 dies into one package - only each die is only pushing out 35GH/s. Whereas hf is pushing 130GH/s ish. That's like 3 times more per die. I didn't say it was "revolutionary", but it's certainly significant numbers.
Wonder where I would be now if I had chosen HF or CT?.... BROKE!

Edgar, either you are full of shit or you are completely incompetent at communication. I've sent five different emails to knc, they were all responded to within a day or two. There are other member posting their good rma experiences in this thread. Yeah, I'm glad all my machines work perfectly and I haven't had to deal with any returns, but I don't see any evidence that they wouldn't take care of the problems if I did.

Avenger, are you seriously still defending companies that have shipped nothing yet, claiming they are better at doing this than knc because knc was a few days out of their time estimate? What's your goal here? Are you just looking for something to rage about online? Hashfast puts all four of their chips on a single board instead of kncs four independent boards with their own cooling systems? In that case 500gh/s is not better than 670gh/s. Hf still has a gigantic case for their stupid bj, because they now have a single massive point of failure that needs to be cooled. If you have a problem on one chip, you're done.

For the speeds advertised with the Neptune and the comment that it will be based on the Jupiter design, I believe it will be four modules of four 20nm chips on each sub board. At this rate, knc may be shipping neptunes while hashfast is still catching up on their early orders for bjs.

That is clearly a failure on their part, and not once or twice but half a dozen times (only once i got a reply & that was nothing to do with what i had asked)
